The amount of freedom they will have to revoke to completely destroy Bitcoin would be enough to get them into hot water with the people who blindly hand them power. It's a win-win IMO (either Bitcoin allows us to enjoy monetary freedom or in the attempt to destroy it, they highlight their true colors and end up where so many tyrants have ended up before).

He's some guy who runs an unlicensed stock exchange from his bedroom in Romania. A stock exchange that costs 20BTC to sign up to and has pictures of unicorns on it. He also runs a 4chan clone on the same domain as the stock exchange, or used to. When the SEC contacted him as part of an investigation into a listing on his stock exchange his reply was "contact me on IRC pls I don't like email". He used to spam bloggers in order to get free advertising and he used to hire some girl to post on bitcointalk on his behalf because he's better than us, but then she got banned and she wasn't missed by anyone.
Im not commenting on this guy because I have no idea about him but I find it funny how there's so much weird people that got rich with bitcoin like Karpeles turning a card trading site into a BTC exchange. I also could picture Karpeles wearing my little pony t-shirts. I cant believe these fucking morons got so rich. Fucking early being-at-the-right-place investor luck. |

If anyone should have become an overnight millionaire it should have been me. I've been involved in virtual economies for many years now (mmorpg gold exchanges) and if anyone should have had the foresight to become an early adopter of bitcoin it should have been me but instead I was wasting my time fucking around with virtual gold.
