Almazan's production was ok, it's the three point shooting that is abandoning the Bolts. They are are shooting just above 10 percent on that area. They are small compare to the squad of Ginebra so they should improve the percentage on 3's if they want to extend this series to game 7.
He is still obviously hurt. He does not have the intensity he shown in the last three games. His intensity and defense create offensive opportunities for his teammates. Maliksi has not really have contributed this series, he should be a factor since he got the height to defend the wing men of the Kings.
I think Maliksi is too short to go toe-to-toe against the tall men of Ginebra but he should be contributing on the offensive end of the court. Sadly, as you said he ain't producing much. Let's see if that will change in the next game. |

Anyway, nothing is permanent in NBA but the thing with Kuzma is that he has blended well with the Lebron lead Lakers and it will be a pity to see him go and traded to Bogdan Bogdanovic. They have keep him away for the AD trade so it doesn't make sense at least to let him at this point.
Let's just say Lebron changes his mind and he wants to trade this young fella. You know that Lebron is so influential, he can talk to the management and get what he want and of course the management would agree if they want to keep Lebron. No player will improve as long as they play with Lebron, as long as the player is already good,... I can say that Warriors and Spurs are the best training ground for young players that wants to improve. I would love to see a game 7 but without Almazan, let's accept that things will be hard for Meralco, yes they have a run last night but they can't still win.
