G2 is on fire right now. They have beaten the best teams this year, so I guess I have to back them up in the finals. It is not easy to beat Faze, Vitality, and Outsiders but they did. Monesy is on point this tournament as well as hunter and Hooxi. Team Liquid is having a hard time and every win is a struggle. They even lose their map pick today against OG. It is a good thing they were able to recover in Inferno and Anubis.


G2 has been mediocre this year but in this tournament, they are having a blast. This is their redemption tournament and I hope they end up getting the championship. They are ending this year with a bang.

I think this is already a good odd if you are an SMB supporter. I know that San Miguel will do everything in its power not to get swept by Bay Area Dragons. They have a formidable team that can compete against the Dragons and the first game shows that they can actually go toe to toe with them. Fajardo alone cannot do it but if the shooters of San Miguel get hot tomorrow, they have a chance to force a fourth game.

Maybe you are right. It is better to go over and then you can parlay it +1.5 maps to get a higher odd. It is very hard to predict the winner of these matches, but I will risk a few bucks on OG and G2. They are underdogs but this tournament has a lot of upsets so maybe we will have upsets in the semis too. Here are the odds of today's matches.

I was not able to watch the game, but I think that was a big upset from how the game went from the first game. I think the coach of the Bay Area is very competent and he was able to adjust very quickly against the Beermen.

Now, the Beermen needs to make a big adjustment next game, or they will go home early this conference. I trust they will be able to make it next game, so I am betting on them this time.


I think the odds will just be very close or almost the same because the game was a close game. If it was like the SMB vs Dragons that the Dragons have a dominant game against the beermen, I think the odds would be attractive for Ginebra. But it was not. So the odds I think will be almost the same for Ginebra and Magnolia. But we will see tomorrow how the bookies will look at it. Hopefully you are right so we can take advantage of it.

They were eventually eliminated by G2 in the third map, Anubis. Hooxi and Monesy are just too good for Vitality. Vitality was able to force the third map through overtime in Vertigo. The match in Anubis is quite equal until the second half where G2 totally took over.

Thankfully I did not make any bet in this tournament or else I would been bleeding. All the favorites have been eliminated and sent to early vacation. Now I am thinking this was actually their plan. Lose and get and early Christmas vacation


It is hard to predict the outcome of the semifinals because there has been a lot of upset in this tournament. The favorites were the first ones that is eliminated. With G2, I am totally at the edge. They have performed poorly this year, but it seems that they are having a redemption tournament in Blast World Final. But I am still not confident to make a bet on them versus Faze. Faze is the complete opposite of G2 since they have a blast this year but are not getting anywhere these last few tournaments.

I am not worried about the Warriors. They are very stacked and missing the service of Steph Curry for a few weeks may get them more losses, but it is still very early in the season. The Warriors have played 29 games out of 82 of the seasons. Looking at the bright side, this could open up opportunities for their secondary units to shine and show their worth. Other players may get more minutes because of this.


I think we will see more of this type of player in the future because they are what teams are seeking right now. Before Kevin Durant, most centers focus only on defending and scoring in the paint, just like Gobert. But now, centers that have point guard abilities like Jokic is in demand. They need to know how to handle the ball, pass, and shoot from beyond the arc. I believe the training for young, very tall athletes has now been adopted to fit this need.

That was a great match actually and totally very fun to watch. There were a lot of clutch moments from both teams. One for Heroic was the 2v4 clutch by Teses and Cadian. That was an epic moment as well, maybe just as epic as the clip above. But in the end, Navi was the greater team and was able to eliminate Heroic from the tournament. I never expected Heroic to be easily eliminated in this tournament, especially after sjuush clutched in the third map with a shotgun.

I was not able to log in for a few days because of work. If it is okay with the participants, I would still want to push through with my bet on Magnolia. I will wave my bet on SMB vs Bay Area because I want to bet on Dragons, but they won the first game.


SMB had the chance to snatch a game against the Dragon, but the Dragons were patient and disciplined. Little by little, they chipped away the lead of SMB. Game 1 confirmed my fear that the Dragons will lack some fire power against SMB without Powell as their import. SMB have the chance to win game 1 since they have an advantage in outside shooting. It will be harder for them if Powell comes back.

What a surprise, two of the favorites in Blast Premier World Final is already out of the competition.

Outsiders, the winner of the RIO Major, was eliminated by G2 in a decisive manner. Outsiders was able to just get 1 round in the 2nd map, Mirage. They were totally dominated by G2.

Heroic vs Navi was more interesting. Heroic was able to force the third map against Navi. Navi got the early lead in the 2nd half, but sjuush had an epic round using the most unexpected gun, a shotgun. They were able to build from sjuush heroics and tie the game 14-14, but Navi regrouped and won the game, thus eliminating Heroic from the competition. It was very entertaining to watch Heroic games, but they came short today.

DK Yoo was already sluggish in the 3rd round of the event. Manny could have spared him a round or two for the sake of the viewers and knocked him down after that. A knockout is way more appreciated than a decision if I were watching a boxing match. Mike Tyson knocks out his opponent within 3 rounds. Pacquiao also does that when he was younger. But more people were enticed to watch their matches because of how beautiful they knockout their opponents. Pacquiao is known to be a slugger and a knockout artist. I appreciate more if the match ends in a knockout not a decision but like what I said, it might have been because of the respect and he does not want to embarrass DK Yoo.

Bogdanovic is perfect for the Lakers. He is the key piece they have been looking for this whole season.  It was said here, over and over again, they need an outside shooter that can space the floor, not just for AD, but for WB and Lebron as well. He will open up lanes for Lebron and Westbrook to drive in. The near-perfect stroke he displayed during their match with the Lakers, knocking down threes even with a defender on his face, might have made Rob Pelinka's eyes twinkle in desire to get him. The only question now is, do they have the pieces to offers for Bojan?


We can never really tell until he played in NBA. NBA is a different kind of beast. I only watched his highlights, and it is good. But that is not good enough to know if he will be good in NBA. We have to measure him with the intangibles. I need to watch a full game or 2 of him to know. What he does when he is off the ball, how is his leadership, his defense, and how hard he practices? These will all add up to how successful he will be in NBA. Talent can just take you so much, but persistence, consistency, and work ethics and habits will make you an NBA Star.

Manny Pacquiao is guaranteed $5 million in the exhibition fight including pay-per-view share and DK Yoo is guaranteed $1.2 million including pay-per-view revenue share. The Purse for Pacquiao is $2 Million and DK Yoo $500K. So that means they expect at least $2.5 Million in pay-per-view revenue. That is a lot of money and a very high expectation. The numbers for pay-per-view is not out yet so we do not know yet if the promoter made money or not but for sure, the two athletes made a lot of money.


He could easily knock out DK Yoo but he chose not to and settle for a decision. Maybe because DK Yoo is so respectful throughout the match that Pacquiao doesn't want to embarass him with a knockout. But for me, the exhibition could have been better if he KO'ed DK Yoo. That will give a good precedence for the next exhibition match and will give a good hype. If Pacquiao wants to have another exhibition match, more will be hyped to watch if a KO happened in this match. But I guess Pacman is too polite to take advantage of that.

I think this is better because we are pooling the bets. With @harizen, we are betting only against him. There's a limit to that.

Before I make a bet on SMB vs Dragons, does anyone here knows if Powell is getting back or Nicholson is going to be the import in the semis? I will bet to the Dragons if Powell is getting back because I believe the Dragons has enough big men to counter June Mar and the big men of San Miguel but without Powell, they do not have the scoring power against SMB. Otherwise, I'll bet on SMB.

Did not watch the game but Middleton just got back from injury, and he was basically not in the rotation when the bucks were winning before, losing him in this game should not matter to the bucks. They have a good rotation even without Middleton. Maybe, it was just mental, and they could easily bounce back to it in the next game. Also, they are already undermanned and losing Khris made them just 9 players in the rotation. Giannis just got 16 points in 37 minutes in the game. I also lost in that game, so it was a disappointment to me too.

I was just thinking if you lead 7 to double digits in 3 out of 4 quarters of the game and never trailed even for 1 second in the game, it is an easy game. When AD easily imposes his will inside the paint, and Lebron easily cutting/driving inside and scoring, it is an easy game. When there is only 1 real threat on the opponent team, that only caught fire in the game and when they only come close when either AD or Lebron is out or when only the second unit is in playing, it is an easy game.

Bogdanovic made the game interesting though when he caught fire in the third quarter. Those catch-and-shoot was near perfect. But with just 1 player catching fire with the Pistons and the others don't even score half the score of Bogdanovic, no rebound, and no assists from other players, how can I say it was a hard-fought battle for the Lakers?

That was a good challenge, hit two birds with one stone. They avoided the foul on Zion and the 3 free throws of Chris Paul and also fouled out Chris Paul. Without Chris Paul inside the court, the Suns lost their anchor. Chris Paul has been dictating the phase of the game in the fourth quarter that enabled them to catch up and eradicate the lead of the Pelicans. And when he fouled out, that is when the Pelicans really took over in the overtime and won the game.

I like this rule that they call an offensive foul on the offense who baited the foul, just like what happened when CP3 extended to his foot to make contact for a foul. I think they were not called that before and it is good that they are calling that now.


It is an easy game for the Lakers. The Piston is at the bottom of the Eastern Conference and with AD, Lebron and Westbrook on the floor, I do not think the Pistons even stand a chance against them.

TorontoTokyo is playing position 5 which is very different from his position in Team Spirit. That is quite a big transition he is doing there. I wonder what made him transition from position 2 to position 5. Is he to pos 5 to become a captain in the future. He is very talented player but that transition is quite big. I hope he is successful and give his teammates a big boost.


They can still play in the Regional League but only one team will qualify for The International. So, even if this is just for fun or competitive team, they can run them both in tournaments and try and get to qualify to TI. But then, if both of the teams qualify in TI, only 1 team will be able to participate in TI. Here is the rule in TI

Can they afford that though? Currently, they are the 13th seed in the Western Conference and 3 games behind the 10th seed Dallas Mavericks. They need all the wins they can get to at least have a shot for the 10th seed for the play-in. Without AD or Lebron in the lineup, they are having a hard time winning games. Sure, Lebron and AD will be healthy but it will be harder for them to get to playoffs considering how tough the competition in the west is. At this point, it may be hard for them to qualify for the play-in tournament.


The Pelicans are in the lead with under 6 minutes left in the game. It is just a six-point lead but all the Pelicans have to do is maintain that lead. I guess the Suns will lose back-to-back against the Pelicans. They were not able to give a payback to what Zion did to them in the last game.
