I agree with this statement. That is why we see underdogs upset the favorites. Every team in the NBA can beat a top team given the right circumstance. Maybe AD can be healthier if he is not the center of the team.
He's effective on that position but it's also known that he's just too prone to injuries. I think a less playing time or someone who can really tandem his athleticism will really help him to at least mitigate possible injuries. But, it's part of it and no matter how many times he'll get injured. He'll still play as his but concerning his career, being injury prone, we saw the downfall of it from the other NBA players on where their careers have taken them. What I am saying is, he gets bumped and banged in that position more than in position 4. That gives him the higher chance to get injured because he gets more contact with opponent teams. He is effective as center but if the Lakers want longevity and keep AD healthy, then moving him to Pos 4 is an option. Just saying. |

Maybe in their next games, it will be Klay and then someone who had a break out game for their young core, I do not expect much from Klay since his injury. He is not as explosive and defensive as before, but he is still very reliable. It is okay if Poole gets to be the center of their offense while Curry is out since he is one of the young cores. He needs that experience to develop leadership which he will need when the current cores are already retired. ... Moody and Kuminga and Wiseman because they are highly touted when they come into the NBA. And will be the next face of Warriors, if they can't proved themselves, then maybe they might find a new team next season.
These players are very young and have a lot of space for improvement. I do not know if they will be the face of the Warriors in the future but one thing I know is that they have potential. If you will trade them just because they did not perform in one season, then you are just like the Lakers, who throw away their young stars without waiting for them to peak. Look what those players are now, they are stars of their current team. These players need experience. Once they got that, and still do not contribute much, then it is time to trade them. But now, develop them and see what happens. |

Annoyed here that after winning that game, Coach Leo told the media that the Dragons are unbeatable. They should finish the job first.  He said the Bay Area Dragons are beatable which is a reasonable thing to say since, first, they just won the game. Second, what do you expect him to say? That they cannot win and demoralize his team. That is the right thing to say as a coach, give your team inspiration. He believes in his team, and he wants to win as the rest of SMB is. I do not find anything annoying about that. I doubt a Do-Or-Die will happen in SMB vs Bay Area Dragons series.
The Dragons already checked how SMB is playing. Just look at the last game, what if the clutch shot by Enciso didn't nail? Also, coach Ham started utilizing the former Wizards, Thomas Bryant as their center while Davis is having some issues and the results were better because they aren't that much having a hard time when Davis is not around.
I am thinking, if Thomas Bryant will be an effective center for the Lakers, I think they should start him and put AD back in pos 4. AD said before that he is more comfortable in that position, so maybe that is better for the Lakers. They can also preserve AD and not get banged up so much if he is in that position. Maybe AD can be healthier if he is not the center of the team. Even if Westbrook is not a scoring machine anymore and barely create 20+ points, he's still one of the huge reasons why the Lakers got an improvement lately. Yes, it did start when he fully embraced his role as the 6th man and trusted coach Ham's decision that he's more valuable coming from the 2nd unit. It's not every time a player is at his best form, there are difficult phase for these players and some tends to bounced back while some can't proof themselves any longer. Westbrook is one of the keyplayer in the team and when he was at his peak, he did brace his team to the next level with his outstanding performance. The team have incredible players and they all have a very good chemistry between themselves. The Lakers are passing through some tough time but they always bounced back to glory ways. And it's because they change his role as well with his second season with the Lakers, becoming a sixth man, obviously from the bench and it seems that he is also enjoying his new role, and still can make a decent score and last game if I'm not mistaken he has a triple double. But the Lakers though still lack some players that will help them move forward this season and even if Lebron and Anthony Davis is healthy, they will have a difficult time in the West and probably will be in another play in just to survived this year. Any team in the West will have a difficult time in the playoffs since the west is very stacked right now. Even the Warriors who I believed is very stacked team is not doing well right now. Good thing, it is still early in the season, and they still have time to acquire the players they need to get them to the next level. Let's see what is the move of Rob Pelinka to get the Lakers going and become competitive in the west. He still has over a month before the trade deadline. |

Thanks! I was not really sure when I made a bet with the Lakers but now, I am glad I trusted they can do it. My heart skipped a beat or two in the last few seconds of that game. That was a sure win parlay, hehe, 3 team parlay @2.58, that's a good one although I'm sure it makes him nervous a bit. It's good that Nets were able to comeback, I though they will lose because of fatigue, but they still continue winning which is now are in a 6 win streak. Also, their ranking has improve, currently ranked now at number 4 in the East.
Nothing is a sure win lately actually. Just look how close the games are, even with matches that have a heavy favorite. I almost lost it with the Lakers when Lebron almost lose the ball but fortunately, he recovers it and made a good pass. I'm excited to see the betting odds, I hope it will be available early so I can put my bet on Ginebra. I won my bet last time, probably the biggest bet I made this year, so I'm a bit happy, with that, I'm thinking of putting another huge bet for Ginebra as I think the series will end in 4.
On the other hand, we have SMB vs Bay Area, I already have Bay Area winning the series but I still like to take chances on SMB to even the series.
Hopefully, both Paul Lee and Barroca will be able to play in Game 4. Without these two, it is impossible for Magnolia to win against Ginebra. At least if these two are playing, they can give Ginebra a good fight. Without them, it will be very easy for Ginebra. In the last game, Paul Lee is the only one out, but Ginebra dominated Magnolia easily. The chance of winning and moving to the finals is still for Ginebra and if ever the Bay Area will advance to the finals.
That will be a great matchup to watch out, more likely to expect a possible game 7 series.

LA Lakers won against Washington Wizards. The plan was to put the game in a blowout, rest their core players for the game tomorrow against the Phoenix Suns but the Wizards kept on fighting until the end. So close that Lebron almost lost the ball at the last possession that could've been a disaster for them to lose the game.
I doubt the spreads are covered today. Nets versus Pistons was also a tight game, the same with Nuggets versus Hornets. I think both games started with -10.5.
My heart skipped when the Wizards almost stole the ball from Lebron. Good thing they recovered and secured the win. The Lakers' win is the last match that would complete my parlay. The lakers won and I also won my parlay. That's the old Poole, and that's the reason why he was given a max contract by the Warriors. For those who are thinking that Poole should be traded, you guys are wrong because when Curry will retire, they have Poole to take his place as their main man. That's a badly needed win and they have a good one on the road, so congrats to the team and for those who bet on the moneyline.

We watched the g2-liquid match in the Blast premier world final match. The winner of the match was g2. Liquid could not show any presence. Especially their talented player yekindar was very ineffective in this match. On the other hand, g2 was the better team and they knew how to win. They definitely practiced well. In this way, after a long time, we had a good match.

The match could have been better if Team Liquid have shown any resistance. They cannot even dominate the map they pick. Mirage is their best map, and they never lose in it. But in the Finals, G2 clearly dominated them in both the T and CT sides. G2 is clearly the better team in this tournament. They had a rough year but they ended it with a bang. Monesy deserve the MVP award with the clutches he made throughout the tournament. NiKo and huNter were impressive today with really solid clutches. I'm feeling good for NiKo because there was some drop in his performance recently.

For me, if Westbrick keeps on targeting triple-doubles it will not be enough, for me, I think do not target a triple-double but a huge output on scoring, like he recently have against the Nuggets it was an impressive triple-double but he needs to do more, and right now Anthony Davis has a foot injury that may cause some losing game for the Lakers but if Russell Westbrick would keep up his triple-double target it will not be enough I think he needs to do more on the scoring because Anthony Davis may return on December 19,
I think scoring isn't Westbrook's strong suit. Nevertheless, his ability to grab a lot of rebounds and make a lot of assists can be very useful for the Lakers, but only in those moments when Russ makes the minimum number of turnovers per game. As for Davis' absence, Thomas Bryant might partially replace him if he continues to perform as well as he did in the previous game against the Nuggets. I barely see Westbrook create more than 20 points lately since he is now in the second unit. His best contributions are from his assists and rebounds. This is good since he keeps feeding Lebron and AD or anyone who is hot in the Lakers to keep them hot. But the problem with the Lakers is that they lack something, they are not as deep as before. Although they have some success with Lebron, in the long run it might hurt them a bit if others are not consistent as AD and Bron.
They still have less than two months before the trade deadline. They need to figure out what they need and who can push them to the next level and acquire them. They are showing some life lately with the current roster that they have. If they can acquire someone that can complete them before the deadline, they still have enough time to get accustomed to each other and make a push for the playoffs. |

I don't think they'll be able to win on the road without him, if they lose in their game against Indiana when Curry was present, I don't see a chance they'll beat the home team that needs to bounce back after a lose. Also, their road record is very bad, of the 16 games, they only won 2 times, that needs to be noted. It is not only Curry who is out for this game. The Warriors will also miss the service of Andrew Wiggins. While Green (quadriceps) and Klay Thompson (knee) are probable. These are the guys that are supposed to carry the load while Curry is out. So, I also do not think that they will be able to beat the Raptors if these players are also not going to play, especially since they are on the road. Exciting game indeed and IMO, that was a good "no call" when three bodies were on the floor before Simon Enciso nailed that game-winning three, that's a perfect ending for an intense game and a good beginning for another beeracle in the making hehe.
Second game at the moment with Ginebra leading by 9 points so far, not close so far unlike the second game where no team have lead by 5-points until the third quarter.
That was an intense game and lucky for SMB to stay alive, they should do more better plays on their next game to tied the series, they are not done here yet and beeracle might be their motto for this semi-finals. Ginebra looks more solid tonight, taking care of the 11 points lead but this is not over yet because we know Magnolia is capable of taking over the lead. Ginebra have to make sure their consistency here, and limit the key players of Magnolia, the crowd is getting more wild here. It is over. 23 points lead by Barangay Ginebra. In G2 vs Liquid, it'd be hard to say who's got the upper hand. I for one will just go Liquid +1.5 and Liquid win to support this team even further. Even though m0nesy is stepping up and slowly trying to creep back to his superstar era with his amazing plays, it's not a 1v5 game as it's still team play that reigns supreme in this game. OSee vs m0nesy will be a great duel of the awpers that's for sure.
I thought Liquid can still carry the momentum they've picked up from yesterday's match, but G2 seemed impenetrable in the last 2 maps. Props to their defenses and their strategies on taking sites over. Liquid is no match to how G2 played Inferno, and even though Mirage was somehow close, G2 still managed to get the upper hand and destroy Liquid with some of their force buys. M0nesy played really well, and jks supported everyone like a champ and took fights like an unkillable warrior. I lost both my bets, but I enjoyed watching a great CS. It is total domination by G2 in both maps. As I have predicted, G2 is totally in point in this tournament and Team Liquid is quite shaky. I thought team Liquid will be able to come back and force a third map when they tied the score in the second round of Mirage but Monesy, jks and hunter took over and won the map. G2 redeem themselves this tournament after a year of struggle. They deserve this win. |

Not a good start for SMB, they are playing a do or die game and yet they allow the Bay Area to dictate the game early. Maybe it's still too early as it's in the 2nd quarter, but the score is already 19-31, or 12 points lead by the Bay Area. Good thing Ross is playing, maybe he can help his team to win.

The Blast playoffs starts later today and i'm surprised that Navi is slightly favored in this match when they still look shaky. Team Liquid on the other hand is performing better compared to Navi even though they're in a similar position they're able to grab at least a map in that one losing series. I already placed my bet on Team Liquid@ 2.04 since they're the value pick and Navi nearly lost against Heroic who are playing with a stand-in. Very good choice on Team Liquid taking it yesterday @ralle14 ! I had them too on all my betslips so that is a solid win. But today OG is playing them for a place in the semi-finals and they took the first map. On the second map it looks like they made some adjustments and are now on their way to winning it so to tie it up. Anibus as the decider map. It was interesting to see the stats on this map actually. SMB are too dependent to JMF and they can’t maximize their import, their playing strategy should be changed if they really want to survive on this and go to the finals. Magnolia on the other hand manage to tied the series, this is more exciting who will take the lead. Anyway, where’s that local bet? Looks interesting but quiet high for a minimum bet. Good win by the Lakers as well, it was a very close game, until late in the 3rd quarter when they got the momentum and continue it to the 4th. Another triple double for Westbrook, Reaves, Pat Bev hitting 3's outside and so is Dennis the Menace.
But the whole story is AD, looking to be injured again as he has to take a sit.
And then the old Lebron, can still dunk and run and deliver at the other end with a dunk. It's a good win by the Lakers against the 3rd best team in the west. Aside from Lebron, the rest of the team really step up when needed most. But of course, this is just 1 regular game and they need AD. Maybe tomorrow there will be results already on AD's injury, I am not a Laker fan but of course, we want all these athletes to stay healthy to make the league more competitive. This is how they should play, as a team. Everybody is contributing and not just relying on their stars to carry them to victory. 7 players with double-digit score helping the 30 points of Lebron. Westbrook is reliable in the rebound and the assists department. That is a good Lakers basketball and against a very competitive team as well, not just a bottom team. The Lakers are showing signs of life even though they are still very far from making it to the top 8 or top 10 at least. I personally think it's an end of an era with Warriors and they should think to trade some players if they still want Curry to be a on his top level for next year , because this year seems already like a lost one for them.
They are not super strong but they are also not super weak and it's still fun to watch them even with Klay Thompson being inconsistent. This is where players have a chance to be a star, Jordan Poole, Lamb, DiVincenzo, Kuminga, and we saw Wiseman play again. I am waiting for Wiggins to be back because I am sure he will try to step up his game while Curry is healing. I do not understand why they are telling it is already a lost season for the warriors. When you look at their roster, they are full of potential and anyone of those names you mention can suddenly have a breakout season anytime. It is just a matter of time for Wiseman. Jordan Poole had a breakout last year and suddenly the Warriors are in the playoffs, finals, and winning the Championship. We know Wiggins can do it. Maybe the Warriors are a couple of role players away from getting back to the top spot. They need two-way role players that can defend and still reliable in scoring. |
