1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best GPU's For Mining? on: June 16, 2017, 08:01:49 PM
well i used to be a miner back in 2012-2013 with r290 and gave up when bitcoin drops around $200.I now have 2x980gtx watercooled and would like to know which coin to mine?

anything equihash, LBC is good on Nvidia as well. Neoscrypt, oh shit there 10 algos, and 100 coins highly profitable for you to mine right now with those Cheesy
I would suggest LBC its a great price and a solid coin.

As far as the best cards to mine, 1070's are still best price performance, but DENSITY and RESALE matter too imo. I am going all 1080ti, the ti models of cards always seem to hold value, damn a 980ti is STILL high price new Smiley
unless you WANT to upgrade every 3 months and fight over supply in the streets, buy big bad ass cards imo
I could hold my top of the line 1080ti's for a year  and 5+ ROI's and still get 75% value for them easy i bet
1982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Error using ccminer on: June 16, 2017, 07:09:18 PM
Well the error about sums it up , your system does not support cuda 8

My suggestion is find a version of cude (7.5 likely) that your system supports then find a ccminer version that supports it.
You will also need to make sure to find the right ccminer build for your compute version on that card

This is all stuff ALL old card owners have to do, good luck! Smiley
1983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: June 16, 2017, 08:40:30 AM
So, with DGB, I'm mining about 480/day.

At current price that's: 14.06 USD

With zcash, I'm mining about 0.02 a day (742 sol on average)

At current price that's: 7.63 USD

Why on earth are people still mining zcash with nvidia???

haha its called liquidity Cheesy  if i add even one whole rig to DGB the profit goes to shit pretty quick, not many people can add to that nethash before it gets unprofitable. bigger miners want to not have to switch every day or less Smiley   thats good for smaller miners tho! Smiley

So, with DGB, I'm mining about 480/day.

I just checked on whattomine and according to current rate, with 740 sol DGB skein is around 9$. What I'm doing wrong?

my guess is your using the same hashrate for DGB as ZEC, the algo is different.  you wanna compare 750 sol/s zec and 1000 mh/s skein
1984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: June 16, 2017, 04:26:34 AM
I am going to assume that all ti's do use atleast 2x8 pins, yes, i know mine does (Zotac AMP! Extreme)
The new MSI lightning X uses THREE 8 pin connectors Cheesy   if i had one im not even sure i would want the cable headache, mining using those splitters sketches me out on this highpower cards ;p

1985  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Renting out GTX Rigs! on: June 15, 2017, 11:32:44 PM
I doubt anyone will bid before you show proof of ownership

Yes sadly i wont even bother bidding until we see proof, pics or SOMETHING with Bitcointalk username and date is the norm @OP

There's too many people coming by reselling nicehash and MMR rental to do this exact offer soo... understand if were suspicious haha
And hey if you DO have the hardwear im sure you will get some bites, mining is highly profitable, true makes one wonder why even rent OUT? ;p

1986  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB 72 RX570 OR 470 on: June 15, 2017, 11:30:00 PM
Still looking, in Canada or USA

i have a brand new Red Devil 570 still in box never opened (snagged a few extra last week when newegg had them for 6 hours actually in stock)
Might be one the last aside from auction sites available in NA
https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131716&_ga=2.201585361.1179537090.1496545125-381933653.1495431079

i would of course be asking a premium, but not amazon prices, 15% above new or so i would prob sell it, 300$USDish +shipping from Canada

Good Luck in your hunt!
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: June 15, 2017, 01:18:58 PM
I'll put my little piece in here since everyone's doing it.

I've mined with Yiimp's DGB Skein algo, and at full TDP, stock settings I get averaged 1057Mh/s, If I undervolted the card to about 44% TDP(124W) I'd average 850-920Mh/s with -504 on the memory and +150 on the core.

The card I'm using is the EVGA FTW3 GTX 1080 Ti as seen here - https://i.imgur.com/4Hehs2Y.jpg

I've decided that mining skein wasn't profitable for me so I'm mainly mining ZClassic, ZCash, and GroestlCoin.(Averaging $10-$15 per day depending on coin value)

wow thats nice for skein, i wish equihash took less power being given to it as well as that haha Cheesy
You aren't finding LBRY more profitable?

I find for 520mh/s LBRY VS 750 sol/s equihash LBC is more profitable with last few days rise?

So I currently have 5 of these 1080ti cards - MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti DirectX 12 GeForce GTX 1080 TI ARMOR 11G OC 11GB 352-Bit
http://www.ebay.com/itm/382016280684?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Currently have 4 (hope to add a 5th using the M.2 port) of them in the mining rig using nemos-zpool and trying to get the cards stable.  Haven't done any setting tweaks yet.  Will startup nemos and sometimes the rig will start mining for a few minutes other times only a handful of seconds and then the box will reboot.  Currently using nemos-1.7.4 and will try the latest 1.7.6 to see if this fixes any issues.

Anyone using this card and/or has some tweaks for it?  Trying to get nemos-zpool to work, but open to others software/pools if I can't get my cards stable.

Goal is to mine most profitable coins and then switch/store to BTC/ETH/Dash.

Thanks.

Well there's your problem right there Cheesy    "MSI ARMOR"    those things OC like shit, worse series of them all imo, not much to tell ya :/

Apologies if this is a really stupid question but I'm a newbie and am just in the process of ordering / building my rig.

Can you mine multiple coins on each card (say 80% used for one coin and 20% on another)? If so, do they have to use the same algo?
And can you do the above for each card that you own? e.g. if I have 2 x 1080Ti's can I mine 6 different coins?

It's called hedging my bets ;-)

you cant split your card custom, you will just share resources running multiple instances (and yes it can be differnet algos)

1988  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who is this girl? She is perfect, isn't she? on: June 15, 2017, 09:33:44 AM
haha you guys are so simple minded and petty, what year is this? ya'll need some wives Cheesy
Reminds me of the idiots lining up to throw money at the legends room, just to be in the presence of a woman like that! haha
Man im happy im married to a beautiful woman, i dont have to be on forums looking for generic ring girls who prob have 75 as an IQ! lmao
1989  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] Investment Opportunity, LevelNet. Open ICO discuss on: June 15, 2017, 06:14:05 AM
LevelNet is not another anti-virus. And it is not affiliated with any existing anti-virus or cyber-security company. LevelNet is a small but very capable software agent that is able to trace all cyber threats in realtime and provide total protection from all of them. ...LevelNet could be installed on desktop PCs, tables, mobile phones or any other device connected to the internet such as car for example

Is it an 'Off' button you're building? Jokes aside, I've read your website and your intro speel here but haven't learned anything tangible yet beyond the bolded text above. You don't have to give away your trade secrets but much more detail is needed before you've actually presented anything beyond magic beans. This is contstructive criticism. More info please! Ta.

Totally, this looks REALLY sketchy IMO, do some google-fu and i think everyone will see what i mean Cheesy

These guys with "apparent" backgrounds profiles were all literally created over the last few weeks, these people are ghosts and that tells me: SCAM

i mean look at this shit even haha

seems like someone been reusing their scam profile pics

not touching this myself!
1990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: KittehCoin Relaunch MEOW on: June 14, 2017, 09:48:38 PM
Cool to see this coin relaunched but are you bringing anything new to the table with Kitteh or did you just buy a few million last few weeks now wanna try cause some FOMO and a pump to dump your bags? Cheesy
We see that everyday, boring! ;p

Meh! another day another worthless shit relaunch ;p
1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY - Decentralized yt/netflix ; is this the most undervalued coin? (NEXT x10) on: June 14, 2017, 09:04:03 PM
LBRY has been performing well, lately. Looks like it's not too late to get in on the action

Indeed LBRY is showing a great performance, 24.90% in BTC in the last 24h. It is up from 16.5k satoshis just two days ago to 23k right now.

Considering the trading volume on Poloniex, which is around 4 million, I can imagine how someone has made tens of thousands of USD in two days by trading LBRY.

The best part about this No ICO project that they havent dumped a single premine coin on is this nice natural market growth Cheesy
I don't feel like were speculating on Vaporwear, the LBRY APP is VERY real. And it's not another ETH Token ICO where our only hope is a bigger idiot buying OUR tokens ;p

All believers of LBC are seeing their rewards now, hey where did the troll mrtrust go? haha nothing left to say apparently
1992  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: I want to buy your bitcointalk account! on: June 14, 2017, 02:49:48 AM
OK what does OP stand for? And how do i close/remove this topic?

OP =  Original post/poster

You can close/lock this topic by i believe an option in the bottom right at the first post you made at the top of the page, the "OP"   Cheesy

1993  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: I want to buy your bitcointalk account! on: June 14, 2017, 12:37:08 AM
I want to buy your bitcointalk acount!

But only if you are minimum a member (rank)
And if you have a good or neutral reputation!

I bid 0.005 BTC please let me know also if you are not intrested if this price is fair!

NO! this is MY account! Cheesy

No but seriously you should consider locking this thread, generally its hella frowned upon to be dealing in BCT accounts on here, and you may even end up negged by a DT over just ASKING (your OP exactly)
The REASON is that there's just no reason for it, having an account not in the hands of it's original owner only causes headaches around here, as you must understand, the accounts are one of the only reputation systems we have as protection against scammers :/

Anyways, so please re-consider this thread, be awesome and just lock it, its not cool to be looking to buy these accounts here!

1994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: PresidentPutin.eth on: June 13, 2017, 11:24:03 PM

Dont give this nub a penny guys, buy more hashpower instead! hahaha
1995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICO - new scam scheme? on: June 13, 2017, 06:19:51 PM
OP you are 100% right, and im happy as a "newer" member you realize this, i hope EVERYONE does.

Startups are legit, but projects like LBRY show us they DONT NEED too take millions of our money to do this stuff.
I implore you all to read back one of the forums oldest ICO haters, Spotenik's posts, this guy has been screaming how all ICOs are scams for YEARS, and he's kinda right.
Sure, you can make money, but is that how you want to make your fortune? piggybacking off scams to flip a few dollars?
Start mining, trading, freelancing, ICOs are the new NIgerian Prince scams, turning your coins into digital gold, if ONLY YOU SEND FIRST Cheesy
1996  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: IBM DPS-4KW PSU (Dual DPS-2000BB) Breakout Boards and Packages!!! on: June 12, 2017, 10:53:13 PM
Please note:  I had a very unfortunate incident today in which my commercial space was completely flooded due to the gross negligence of a tenant above me.  Losses are significant, I have spent all day moving my inventory off-site and salvaging what I could.  My time is going to be spent fulfilling existing orders as quickly as I can, but I will not be available to quote new orders (some of the PM's are a week old or more) until later this week when I get myself situated.  I apologize for the inconvenience, and for anyone with outstanding orders please know that I am doing everything in my power to get your orders re-packed from un-damaged stock and will be shipping it out as soon as I am able to.

Oh, thats rough, best of luck on the clean-up and salvage! :/

i have no problem considering my PM on the backburner till you are fully operational again, one less thing for you to worry about right now :/

1997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Imoney - Bringing cryptocurrency to the masses - genesis address sale on: June 12, 2017, 09:22:23 PM
This seems to be a doctored carbon copy of Minerium, what commitment do team show to proof they will be commited to the project, $150 per genesis address, who is the escrow of the ICO fund account

yupp.  the name imoney has been done like 5 times as well :/
Newbie dev, no history at all to think they could do anything but gather money
No escrow, meaning no protection when they ditch with said money
No social media, no real plan at all
WAY high entry barrier, basically shows they hope to even get ONE stupid investor and they would be happy at 0.5 ETH

No way haha
1998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: June 12, 2017, 04:17:42 AM
O geez i see ETH could touch higher than 1BTC  .  When they actually make it safe and easy to use, it will hit 0.2
When the stuff they promised would come one day actually comes, it will hit 0.3-0.4BTC (the dapps like augur)
When things like metamask and jaxx make it super easy and safe to use , and people actually take the time to LEARN ETHs codebase, it will hit 0.5 Cheesy
1999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ongoing ICO's ? on: June 12, 2017, 03:59:46 AM
Polybius is looking good (i think haha)  They are hashflare, one of the few legit cloud mining companies so i think this one may be good Smiley
I think the bonus for their ICO is closing quick, the ICO ends in like 20 days or something.
Really, ICOs have become scary cash grabs, so stick to the HUGE ones if you must invest, Good Luck!
2000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Alternate crypocurrency on: June 12, 2017, 03:40:38 AM
im confused what is this shit? haha , it is a coin announcement?     painful to understand

Why does it say some shit about being open till april? last year? next year?
It's an ICO send money here but you seem to have no plan, not gonna get a penny from meeeeee Cheesy
Could gamble and have a better chance at a good return ;p
