If you do not think bitcoin is an alternative to fiat, tell me what other currencies other than fiat you can use to buy stuff online, there is no "currency" other than fiat and bitcoin in online shopping, stuff like krill or paypal or whatever are all payment systems and not currencies themselves, there is no stuff like "I bought 3 paypals last yesterday" or whatever. Which is why I think bitcoin is already an alternative. Investing and trading are totally different things when you look into financial world. Of course they are not farming versus software development type of difference however when we talk about finances they are totally different. Investment is something you do for long term, you buy it and your kids sell it, that is the type of investment I am talking about or you could sell it yourself as well but you have to keep it for a long period.

However, trading is when you buy stuff and sell it for other stuff and keep doing that until you have more of the original stuff you had. That type of difference is HUGE when you consider it is just crypto finance world and there is already very few limited options available.

ETH's POS feature implementation is highly anticipated by this community. But, for some reasons they keep on delaying it. I agree that ETH will be the best POS/POW coin in 2020 when they will be having staking feature included. I'm not sure how ethereum will be withstanding against its good price levels with this kind of enormous supply. Ethereum is not having any economic rule for limited supply which means it will get dumped hard at any time because we cannot predict all the whales to continue their holding forever.

As of now, ethereum is doing good in markets hence mining and staking it will be highly profitable right away but anything could change in coming days because already ICO markets is down which must be the one of the best support thing for ethreum's market value.
