Game 3 is next, I like the chance of the Warriors here, because although Celtics are at home but they aren't dominating the home games based on their record in the last series. Klay even not getting good numbers in terms of offense, but the presence of him in defense is good enough to help the Warriors, Steph lead the entire offense but manage to take his rest much earlier since the 2nd squad already doing the seam tempo. I see that Boston coach gave it up in the final quarter. This is basically the Alaska team, less the non star players, so the defense will still be there as I believe Alaska's coach was also hired to coach this new team. Also, betting on the under as I think it's a defensive game and all Filipino cup have low scores in most games.
Betting for Converge is very risky for now because of chemistry issues and their roster is not yet solid. I think everyone is riding with the Warriors again, but I also believe that some people might be tempted to put an ML bet on the Boston Celtics because they beat the Warriors in game 1 and it's possible that they could do it again.
That's what I thought too until ESPN said Boston Celtics has the higher chance of winning the Finals this year against the Warriors. People became skeptical about it at first until the result of the game 1. Some people will now turn to root for the Celtics after game 1, but for me the Warriors still has a higher chances to win the title, though I've loved to see Tatum and Brown and especially for Horford to win their first ring. But who knows, If the Celtics win again in game 2, then that would be very difficult situation for the Warriors and the Celtics will most likely to win the title this year. If Warriors will allow that to happen, it will be too difficult for them to turn things into their favor, though still possible, but they need to win 2 games as well in the road games. We can't tell what might happen in this upcoming game 2. Maybe Warriors are more prepared and not to allow things to repeat that worse 4th quarter attack, or there's something that Boston will surprise them and snatch another game from them. |

Warriors also have a great center, Looney is just so underrated but this guy had some pretty double double in the last series or the WCF. They are a team that are good in making the adjustment, so I don't think they'll have some trouble with the defense of the Celtics or even on their advantage in the center position. Looney is big this season, especially against the Mavs. He is now a legit two-way player who can provide good numbers. I don't see that the center or inside position is considered as a disadvantage of the Warriors. They've got role players who can help inside, Green is always taking that responsibility and with his presence to help and double whoever tries to attack, it is still hard beating them plus the offense as a good counter from all their shooters, it's really an exciting series to watch between these two teams. |

It's official I think. Mark Caguioa has retired from the PBA, says Tim ConeMark the spark has retired from PBA. That's a hell of a ride, he was with the team for many seasons and now he decided to retire. He is a very accomplished man, there's nothing to prove anymore, so hopefully, he will enjoy his retirement. Mark the spark caguioa made a good decision because he is already a legend in the world of basketball even though not so much champion trophy and MVP awards but still he is one of the best players in the PBA, playing for many years do a lot of things I think it's enough for his career in this league. There are many new star players in the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and I don't doubt that they will struggle this upcoming season . I have not seen him play also, so maybe the announcement just came late. Last season when they became the champion, I did not see Mark Caguaio play, he was supposed to be given some minutes, especially during the garbage time or if coach Cone is making an experiment for a come back attempt when they are down big time. He is still on the roster but he didn't play the whole season. The retirement is now official both him and DeVance I guess already out of the lineup; they gave the spot to those young players who also wanted to showcase their talents. Good enough for Caguioa's career, he doesn't need any awards his resumes fully completed as a player and a star, time now to enjoy his life away from playing and focus on whatever things he plans with his life. |

If Naoya scores a knock out, then we know who is the best bantamweight.
It's the best outcome for me too. I would like to see Donaire though, thinking that upset is still possible even Inoue is the favorite and there are many factors that bookies choose from him. I like both teams but if i'm going to put some units on an outright bet I have to pick the Warriors here since they simply handled every team they faced and the Celtics have been on and off even though they're impressive on the road their inconsistency at home might be their downfall one example is during that game 6 between their series with the Heat. It's a tough task to get one against the Warriors at home as we saw how the Warriors held on after going down by 20 vs the Mavs. I think it'll go to at least 6 games unless the Celtics pull off another surprise.
Who knows? Boston also has that surprising performance from all those series that they have been through. But the heavy favor here continues to be the Warriors. It's tough beating them at home and they always have that counter attack which mostly brings them the win even they are struggling in the early half of the game. If Boston will be careless, Warrior can beat them as early as game 5. Let's see how they can deal with the hot and experienced world champion. |
