What exactly is a VIP transfer? Do you have to renounce the old casino? What requirements are there? I have seen other casinos announce this, but have never participated, so Just curious how it works.
You can check there

The application form has a list of some casinos like Stake, Rollbit, Roobet, BC.Game, Shuffle, Gamdom, but you can choose Others too.

22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the difference between Coinbase and an ETF? on: May 18, 2024, 02:47:59 PM
The ETFs seems more secured than and individual having bitcoin in his or her account because I would call an exchange account a wallet.
If you can put your money in hands of others and believe that they will do the right things, go ahead.

If you can not do this, you can simply learn about Bitcoin, wallets, setup, backup, recovery and learn more about security for your time on Internet, for your devices and you can secure your Bitcoin wallets and keep your bitcoins safely by yourself. It's much better than trusting someone, some entities.

Quote
The reasons why the ETF is more secured is because is that they do not store this coins in an exchange, it must be in a very much secured wallet which either doesn't have one signature, so it will be hard for the coins to get hijacked in any way.
Exchanges and companies can be more professional than you but they can do either right things or shady things. There are many layers of protection to prevent shit happens with Bitcoin Spot ETFs but just like many industries, there are ways to exploit and shit can kick off a black swan event anytime.

Enron: Scandal and Accounting fraud. It's an example.
FTX is another example and it's in cryptocurrency industry.

The way Metawin rises and conquers the gambling world, this is something that I haven't seen since 2015-2017.
I like it but honestly thinking about it, it's way too much exaggeration.
Just mark my words, they started in 2022 and already have 192K followers on Twitter. Give them a year or two and they'll be next to Stake, Sportsbet and other popular casinos.
I believe in bright future for MetaWin team and they already shown what their team and platform can provide to customers. They will become bigger and stronger with time but conquering the gambling world is very ambitious target.

The gambling industry is highly competitive and it is not easy to conquer this industry and maintain it a long time. Like now, you can say MetaWin appeared and are conquering Stake, Sportsbet and other older casinos but MetaWin platform will face with similar risk and competitiveness from other new casinos in future.

Reputation is key to maintain a gambling platform in this industry to survive against many high quality and competitive competitors.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the difference between Coinbase and an ETF? on: May 16, 2024, 05:38:17 PM
Coinbase is the custodian for Blackrock.
Coinbase is the custodian of many Bitcoin Spot ETFs, not only BlackRock.
Generally we don't want to see such high centralization towards Coinbase from Bitcoin Spot ETFs.

You are exaggerating far too much here to be frank. Metawin is doing well for sure and their incentives are some of the best in the business, but stating that they are conquering the gambling world is a bit too much.
This gambling industry and cryptocurrency gambling industry in particular are very competitive and let me be honest, I don't know any website that ranks gambling sites. I don't know any website like Coinmarketcap or Coingecko to rank cryptocurrency and exchanges for us, similarly for cryptocurrency gambling platforms.

Anyone knows about it, please share.

Them adding a sportsbook section later isn't exactly something revolutionary since this is pretty much a trend among crypto gambling sites these days.
This will be so interesting but the team will need to do a lot of things behind the scene. Product developments come from raw idea, build up prototype, test it, adjust it and surely can not forget to test security of the products. Through many complicated phases of developments, before the final product can be launched for users, it needs a long time.
26  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Making a long post is not the ultimate on: May 16, 2024, 05:03:18 PM
It is very basic in writing. Keep it short and succinct enough to express your idea. Enough means don't write something too short that fails to convey your ideas but not too long to make your post becomes messy.

When trying to write quality posts, a lot of people act as though they're writing a book report for school: putting facts that we already know into their own words. Nobody wants to read that, and you will not get merit for it. Moreover, the length of your post and the quality of your English are only minor factors. In trying to write a quality post worthy of merit, you should offer new ideas, personal experiences, or perspectives that other forum users will actually find new and interesting.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE BITCOIN BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK? on: May 15, 2024, 04:57:07 PM
Yes those batch transactions also reduces the fee if they use just one utxo( one input) for all transactions but still it will not be much reduction because the outputs will still be much in a single batch.
A reduction is a reduction and you missed a point.

Centralized exchanges charge same withdrawal fee on all users and they don't take into account how many user withdrawal will be batched into their batch transaction. This means they use batch transactions to proceed withdrawals for users, but don't discount any % for their users.

Reduction of transaction size, transaction fee will all make benefit for the exchange, not their users.

The hilarious thing will come when Bitcoin mempools congested and centralized exchanges will raise their withdrawal fees. Again, their users will bear the loss, exchanges still get benefit just by processing on-chain transactions.

VIP Transfer AVAILABLE

15.05.2024
MetaWin kicks the ass of any casino when it comes to taking care of players.

Now we want more VIPS.

Share your status from another casino  and we'll give you a huge incentive to join us, enhancing your experience. You won't look back! 👀

Apply- https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSesWvtgoABRRru3g0gwioR-p3BparTveg6zHO1S6T8BwB_r2Q/viewform
Kicking off a new feature which allows MetaWin users to transfer their VIP status from other platforms to MetaWin platform is quite attractive for your users.

It is not a first time ever, this feature is deployed on a platform because I see some Peer to Peer marketplace platforms allow their users to Import (you call it as Transfer) their account status, trading stats from other platforms to their platform.

I don't know it is available on other casinos but if MetaWin is the first, it's excellent product development but if MetaWin is not the first, it is still an excellent idea to bring better experience to your users.
29  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE: up to $25 FREE BONUS [NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED] Forum EXCLUSIVE! on: May 15, 2024, 04:34:16 PM
Just to give you a quick update regarding the case. It has been determined that we acted in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and therefore the case has been deemed to be unjustified by CasinoGuru. It is also worth noting that our regulator too has come to the same conclusion upon examining evidences provided by both sides.
Clean up the case by the TrustDice team side and with engagement of a regulator is very good. By assessment through a regulator, I believe there is no bias in the investigation and decision-making procedure from TrustDice team.

Mistakes and bias can be made sometimes from staffs but if one case already goes to many staffs, to regulators, with a same conclusion, the case should be closed without doubt of inaccuracy.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE BITCOIN BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK? on: May 14, 2024, 03:19:37 PM
It is true that the "fees" for transactions from CEXs, which some call custodial wallets, can be much higher because it is actually about on-chain fees + service fees, but still the OP certainly does not have such a problem considering that it refers to some blocks when fees were much higher than they are today.
Centralized exchanges charge very expensive withdrawal fees that are on-chain fees + service fees (like wallet management, maintenance fees and more)

Old story. Exchanges get profits from users' withdrawal fees.

They proceed transactions in batch, not single one for each user but by charging each user a same expensive withdrawal fee, they get benefit from withdrawal processing.

I hope OP will see that topic is helpful.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I trace a transaction history of a person in the blockchain? on: May 14, 2024, 03:13:30 PM
Someone mistakenly sent USDT to a wrong address thinking it was the right address and now he has lost it. My question is how can we/I be able to trace the transaction through blockchain technology with the transaction ID?(Harsh)
Go to Coinmarketcap.com and Coingecko.com, choose in a drop down list a block explorer on a specific chain.
Copy and paste your address (sending address) or the receiver address (where you mistakenly send your USDT to), to check its transaction history, balance.

What will happen after tracing it?
Nothing, you can not do anything. If that receiver moves the mistakenly received USDT to a centralized exchange, will you send that exchange a support ticket to seize that USDT fund and refund it back to you?

It is complicated procedure and if your fund is small, forget about it.
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding dormant wallets for beginners on: May 12, 2024, 01:53:57 PM
I do not think any period should be used.
I emphasized that if a period is used, it should be longer than 6 months.

Quote
There have been addresses that made no outgoing transaction for more than 12 years and one day sent to another address
You missed a point.

Dormant wallets, addresses are dormant till a day they are reactive. This explains we can calculate dormant addresses with a chosen period of inactive, no transactions but we can not count lost wallets. We only can estimate number of potential lost wallets and estimation has big inaccuracy and uncertainty.

Even the chosen period is 5 years + or 10years +, as we see, there are dormant addresses woke up after 5-years+ or 10-years+ of inactivity.

I remember before about Binance having a community listing program where a coin is listed for free if it has a big community. Not sure it's still existing now. But if other exchanges will have this kind of initiative, I think it would give a chance for the new project to get listed for free as long as they have a big community or supporters.
Binance did not hesitate to list meme tokens like Shiba Inu, PEPE or BON but I don't remember they listed those tokens proactively (I guess so) or from Community Listing Program (I guess not).

I remember they said that some times they have to prioritize their exchange's operational and income benefits. Probably it was around the CRV, SUSHI listings and dramas with those projects 3 or 4 years ago.

I just check other exchange X account and I found out that Skel following Bybit too but the rest of the exchange on the choices is not being followed by Skel so our choices narrowed down between Bitget and Bybit. Nice findings on the exchange he is following, typically the team follow the exchange in advance when they plan to cooperate with them in the future.

I hope it’s Bybit because I use this exchange often than Bitget.
It can be listing on both exchanges, not only one.  Cheesy

Listing fees on both exchanges will be expensive and it makes more sense if the team choose one centralized exchange to list the token. I am optimistic so I don't self-restrict chance of listing for the token on both Bitget and Bybit.

Sometimes, exchanges can proactively list a token that can help them to gain money from user's trading fees.
35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding dormant wallets for beginners on: May 12, 2024, 11:43:03 AM
Dormant wallets, also known as hibernated wallets, are considered to be wallets that have been inactive for a long period of time (usually at least six months).
I really don't think any definition to use for dormant wallets with inactive period is ONLY 6 MONTHS.

Could you share where you get this definition on dormant wallets, please.

The period to use should be years, not only a half of year.

Quote
What is considered a dormant bitcoin address?

A dormant Bitcoin address refers to addresses with no outgoing transactions for a certain period with a non-zero balance. Depending on the time frame you prefer, an inactive address could be considered dormant if no funds have moved in or out of that address for one year or more.

Quote
For instance, there are many wallets in the Bitcoin realm that hold substantial wealth and have not had transactions leaving them for years. These wallets might be lost and inaccessible, but it can be challenging to definitively say this as they might not be lost at all; instead, someone could be holding onto them.

Additionally, these wallets might lie dormant for other reasons.
36  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: May 12, 2024, 10:47:37 AM
Just noticed metawin founder only follows bitget out of all the choices in the promo. I did follow couple of altcoin projects and saw founders follow platforms they're involved with 🤔

But it's also possible the following happened before rocky lol or it's for other reasons.
Project founders are busy with their business developments and it's right that they only follow projects, exchanges which in their short list of interests like potential partnership, listing and other things that are helpful for their own project developments.

Bitget is one of most impressive rising centralized exchanges last 2 years and your discovery is like a signal of upcoming potential listing for tokens launched by MetaWin team, Rocky first maybe.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: May 09, 2024, 07:56:57 PM
In the other match, Roma lost 2-0 at home to Leverkusen in the first leg and left their chances of passing the round to the away side.Although Roma still have a chance, I think Leverkusen will be the side to pass the round here.
Now, after a first half, the seond match between Roma and Leverkusen is 1 - 0 for Roma. With this temporary result, the second half will be very interesting because I smell something stupid in Leverkusen. They don't only want to win titles but also want to be unbeaten.

This greed and ambition of Leverkusen, and the temporary lost result will force them to play attacking in the second half. This will give Roma challenge but also chance to counter attack and find a second goal to equalize aggregated result.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin historical trading data 2009-2010 on: May 09, 2024, 05:22:43 PM
thanks interesting, I wonder in which block theymos was selling, because on his public address the first transaction was 07/25/2010 https://www.blockchain.com/ru/explorer/addresses/btc/1NXYoJ5xU91Jp83XfVMHwwTUyZFK64BoAD
We never know.

Because theymos is as same as Satoshi Nakamoto and all of us, can have many Bitcoin wallets and addresses.

Many researchs, analyses try to identify how many bitcoins Satoshi Nakamoto has but it is all estimations, not correct number. With later Bitcoin adopters and users like theymos, it is harder to identify their addresses because with time, there are more Bitcoin users, addresses and transactions.
39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dips are temporary but Bitcoin is forever. on: May 09, 2024, 05:11:04 PM
There is no better way to put this out here, DIPs are an integral part of Bitcoin that's a function of its volatility that should be embraced in a good way. It's just a temporary correction that gives intending holders the ability to buying Bitcoin at a much cheaper rate.
Because Bitcoin is a good asset for investment, with good past ROIs and has already proven its survival throughout its long history with 15 years, you can consider any Bitcoin dip is good opportunity to buy.

Buy it, then hold it, and wait for its recovery from dip to take profit if you only want to trade.

Or you can do better, hold it to wait for next one or two market cycles and big bull runs.

Historically Bitcoin drawdowns in bull runs.

Damn. What a difference! I always hear about these memecoins right after they explode(Shiba, Pepe, Rocky etc) even though I am aware of the risky nature, but the same applies to most cryptocurrencies out there.
This cycle is different than previous cycles in order of market's capital flows around. Bitcoin went first, Ethereum next like previous cycles but after these leaders, it was turns of Meme coins/ tokens. Previous cycles, meme coins are very last cryptocurrency categories to be pumped. Now, in this cycle, they are very first targets to make noise for cryptocurrency market in general.

Quote
High risk, high reward basically. Wish there was some sort of notification board somewhere regarding memecoins with potential.
Risk is always there, low or high but whatever low or high risk, don't invest money you can not afford to lose.

With high risk cryptocurrency, don't invest all your money.
