281  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: February 25, 2024, 03:40:04 PM
The easy challenge with a nice reward became costly for me. My Shuffle account has been set with unlucky streak. Initially I lost $100 when I tried to complete the challenge. And today I have lost the rewards without winning any bets. I played the dice game on 1.2× multiplier, surprisingly it gave me 5 consecutive losses. This is how my luck was after completing the challenge

$39.56 has been added to my lifetime wager with the reward today, but my luck is still pathetic there. I lost the confidence to try my luck again on this casino.
It is your bad day, today and previous days as well. From your description, you got bad experience with dice bets on Shuffle.com but could you share that before the bad streak, have you ever won consecutively with your bets on Shuffle.com, please?

I ask because if only take your recent bets into account, it sounds like you were super unlucky or something was wrong with their dice game which I don't think so.

It's how challenge works, chase rewards and maybe you will lose something bigger than the reward. I wish you better days and hope that you will not left Shuffle.com platform. Cheesy

Arsenal can indeed play very well in front of their own supporters. And this is also a positive signal that Arsenal will be ready to beat Porto in the second leg of the UCL last 16 round next month.

Regarding Newcastle, they are not in optimal condition. because even though several injured players have returned, the performance of the players who have just recovered from injury has not yet returned to their original performance. So Newcastle still cannot find balance in their squad. And that is normal.
Arsenal played at home and created huge pressure on Newcastle United since the match beginning. They got two early goals in the first half and simply destroyed Newcastle United. Generally in this match, Newcastle United play very passively especially in their defense system. The third goal from Saka is a fantastic one and it almost nailed the match as a winning for Arsenal.

Arsenal are doing well to continue the title race with two other clubs and it is a good preparation for a tough match with Porto in Champions League. I am really skeptic about their ability to repeat such impressive performance in Champions League against Porto. They look to lack of confidence in Champions League but I see they can improve themselves, so let's see.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would BTC ve further influence over the Fiats if we ain't safe with the bank on: February 25, 2024, 09:11:26 AM
Now, the governments are in charge of the banks and other centralized monetary systems in a centralized networks while BTC and the cryptocurrencies are decentralized networking system of transactions which obviously the governments has no place of power on it.
Banks: centralized
Bitcoin: decentralized
Cryptocurrencies: centralized. Exception is Bitcoin.

Quote
So how can it be possible for BTC to ascertain this great height of advancement? Or should we just scrap that thought that BTC would take over the world in a global financial transactions trends and just say BTC would gets to its limits of authorized existence somedays in the future?
Bitcoin was not created by Satoshi Nakamoto to take over everything on Earth or take over global financial systems. It was designed to give us private keys of our bitcoins and have our own banks.

Quote
Because by so doing, it would be uneasy for BTC to penetrate the entire world if this bridge of government having legal roles of authorisation in the space of crytop currency.
Bitcoin will exist under the laws that exist and governments are entities to make laws and regulations. Bitcoin won't be killed by governments because it has an open-source code, a decentralized network and most important, there is no smart contract to seize your bitcoins in your non custodial wallets.

By non custodial wallets, I mean only you is the owner of your bitcoin's private keys. Governments don't have keys so they can not get access to your bitcoin.

It's annoying that my withdrawals are getting flagged for manual review and I have to wait it out for a day.
There are some suspicious things that can trigger their automatic tools to flag your account. Then to be sure, they will go next with manual review and investigation, it's for good of your account.

Did you contact their live support?

If their staff said you have to wait, which I guess they will tell you so, please wait.

You will have result and notification from them when the review is completed.

If you look at the daily charts the price should be below $50k but it seems people want the price to stay above $50k, I looked at the daily charts using the MACD indicator and it also seems to be decreasing, but again people want it to be above $50k, I still want to see the day Next Monday, if the price is below $50k, it is likely that the price will continue to fall to below $50k, but if the price manages to play above $50k then the price will remain above $50k, price determination will still be seen until Monday.
MACD is following the price and it does not give us good signals and estimations of next price movements and how much price will change. It is very lag with time and not good for prediction if you have to make price prediction for your bet.

It can be good to find possible next trend of the market but again, please note it is lag.

I would like to predict next prices with possible targets of forced liquidations with different leverages and price channels.

Quote
I like to bet with predictions of $45,001 - $50,000 and also $55,001 - $60,000 even though I know it's difficult but I can be confident in this, sometimes guesses are not always right
Base on history, it's impossible for Bitcoin to make a new ATH before its halving in April. Because of Bitcoin Spot ETFs, people are believing that it will be different this time but I myself don't believe so.

I don't sell my Bitcoin now and wait for price correction, even I believe it will not make a new ATH. Because I want to take profit at higher prices than $69,000, not only $60,000 so I am holding my bitcoin tightly.

A correction to drag Bitcoin down to about $43,000 is possible and it will be -20% correction.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: February 24, 2024, 02:04:16 PM
They stand out domestically. In the Bundesliga, Leverkusen has dazzled, exceeding even Bayern Munich. For this season, they seem determined to win both their league and Europe. Since Liverpool dominates the Premier League, I agree that its hard to predict who will win the trophy.

Although Milan, Atalanta, and Roma are charming, I doubt they're consistent. Leverkusen and Liverpool seem at a different level. I agree with your quarter-finalists, but football is unpredictable. While Leverkusen and Liverpool look expected to dominate, the game's charm resides in its ability to surprise.
With good gap in Bundesliga, Leverkusen will be able to focus on Europa League and it's different than Liverpool as the competition in Premier League among Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are very tight.

Atalanta and Roma will belong to Tier-2 of candidates to go far and win Europa League. Roma is a runner up last season but now they no longer have Jose Mourinho and they will have to beat Brighton in Round of 16. That opponent is capable of beating Roma as they can play well against strongest clubs in Premier League.

I agree with you about Leverkusen and Liverpool, both teams are at a higher level than the others
Liverpool are leading the Premier League as well as being one of the greatest traditions in European leagues, and Leverkusen look unbeatable at this stage

And Milan, despite not being at their best, have a lot of tradition in difficult continental championships, so I won't be surprised if they reach the final
Liverpool have very strong and experienced team and their coach is experienced too. Leverkusen are rising and making big surprise in this season and they are strong but lack of experience from their coach can be their weakness in knock out matches. AC Milan looks to be good not only with their tradition in Europe but their coach is experienced too.

I agree to put these clubs as best candidates to win Europa League but don't know will they have to meet each other in quarter finals if they go through round of 16.

Even they use same BIP and seed word list, you should never use two different wallet tools / softwares to import and use a same wallet seed phrase or private key.

Because they are built by different teams and one team can be good and another can be bad. By using one private key, one wallet seed phrase around different tools, you have risk to lose your coins anytime if one of those tools are compromised or have back doors.

Don't let your laziness makes you poor or bankrupted.

I'm a little bit surprised that GBTC continues to have so many owners.  I wonder if they're motivated by thinking the price will continue to rise or if they are just not aware they could get exposure elsewhere with a lower fee...  The only thing that could make any sense to me is if they feel they're better off leaving their money where it is and avoiding paying any gains taxes they may be sitting on, as they feel the loss of money from taxes might hurt their future return when switching to a new fund.  I haven't thought the math out yet, but it seems that would be the only reasonable reason to still have funds parked there.
If they want to move from Grayscale to other Bitcoin Spot ETFs because they want to enjoy lower service fees, they will have to sell their shares in Grayscale and by that, they will have to pay tax.

Tax rate is much higher than what they can save with service fees and I agree with you that it does not worth to sell GBTC and buy other Bitcoin Spot ETF shares.

I know there is a fee rate ware among Bitcoin Spot ETFs but it is more targeting at new investors, not current investors in Grayscale (Previously Grayscale Bitcoin Trust). 1.5% as service fee from Grayscale is undeniable significant higher than fees of other Bitcoin Spot ETFs.

Yeah, you are absolutely right, I did say the lottery system looks unfair to some of freebitco users, but I know that that statement is possibly due to the fact that I've never won the lottery once, so, that statement shouldn't be taken that serious by anyone..
You eventually realized that it is untrue to say a lottery system is unfair (looks to be unfair) because your experience is never win it.

It's not only in Freebitco.in, cryptocurrency lottery but in real life. I bought lottery tickets in real life and I have never won it, even with small award. Never but I don't say it is unfair lottery system. I myself consider buying a lottery ticket is for fun, nothing more than waiting simply for super luckiness to knock my doors.

The trend is going to be strong as the chart for daily bought / sold Bitcoin by Bitcoin Spot ETFs shows. They are going to 300,000 BTC bought BTC that is a huge number after only 29 days of trading. BlackRock are leading and outperforming other ETFs.

Additionally, Bitcoin exchange balance has dropped a lot since day 1 of Bitcoin Spot ETF trading according data from Coinglass.

Great analysis by you @OP as it has is evident. If we look back to the history it sometimes repart it and sometimes it doesn't doesn't repeat with Bitcoin. I know Bitcoin will be the reason for the next good or bad market outcome
It's not my analysis and I shared information from Glassnode and Cryptoquant, with some thinking on it.

It's something I heartily support -- not least because it meets the holder requirement I'd think up. Too often you hear about "holders" but they're really speculators over the long term.
Maybe we can use different time threshold for holding to define holders. Like the HODL waves, many bands for hodl waves and surely that with different bands, we have different hodlers.

Well the trend isn't surprising! Not just whales, even the common people like us are accumulating as much as they can. Because the positivity around the market is very high. Firstly it started with the Bitcoin ETF and we all know that halving is just around the corner. So a Bull run is almost immenent. People use such kind of indicators before accumulating more and more Bitcoins. That's normal.
It is easy to think people are hyped by Bitcoin Spot ETFs but on-chain data is helpful for us to see whale accumulation. They are market markers and it's good to see they are back with accumulation for higher highs.

293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The change Address Concept on: February 23, 2024, 02:43:24 AM
Now, it talked about you having to issue or sign a transaction in an agreed amount but, what’s actually spent is spent as a whole in your wallet’s content and you have a balance refunded to you.
Like, you own $50 and wants to pay for a purchase that cost just $5. What would actually be spent is $50 even without you inputting that as your actual paid amount but, would have $45 refunded to your wallet.
It is not a refund because the $45 in BTC never move out of your wallet. It only moves from your initial address to a change address, in a same wallet of yours.

Quote
Why the need for this back and forth concept since, Bitcoin has smaller denominations that could be spent directly.

Wouldn’t it have been more easier to just send the exact amount in the acceptable denomination and that would be all to it without having any need for a refundable balance?
Again, it is not a refund.

The spending is for $5 to another wallet address of your trade partner. The rest (not used for that trade) is sending to another wallet address of yours. That's it.

295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: February 23, 2024, 02:26:29 AM
Yeah, this match is interesting but luck might be on AS Roma side because the second leg match will be played at the Stadio Olimpico this means that it is clear that AS Roma will dominate and do not want to be embarrassed in front of their supporters,  Feyenoord really needs luck if they want to go to the next stage.
Roma and Feyenoord are always balancing in quality last three seasons with five matches totally. Starting with UEFA Conference League final match, to Europa League last two seasons with 4 matches, differences between them are very slim but Roma have won after all in three seasons.

This match is difficult for AS Roma even they hosted it at Olimpico but in general Roma created more opportunities in this match. They lacked of accuracy in their shots to have a winning goal in either 90 minutes or 120 minutes. In penalty shootouts, Mile Svilar made good saves and brought Roma to a next round.

I saw some changes are happening in Roma at their goalkeeper position. Started with last matches under Jose Mourinho, Rui Patricio began to lose his main position to a young goalkeeper Svilar.

Quote
By the way, today AC Milan is playing the second leg against Rennes and AC Milan was 3 goals ahead in the first leg so AC Milan just needs a draw today. Rennes keeps trying to score more goals and they have just scored the 3rd goal but 1 goal lead today won't mean anything at least Rennes must win with a difference of 4 goals unfortunately, that's impossible because there are 20 minutes left in the match.
It will be easy task for AC Milan with great advantage they had from the first leg match and they are strong and experienced enough to avoid a big defeat in the second leg that was what happened.

They lost to Rennes but 2 - 3 is enough for AC Milan to be a winner in an aggregated result. Rennes deserves to have a round of applause but AC Milan deserves to be a final winner.

Three top categories for >10k, 1k-10k, 100-1k, have good continuation and prolong of their accumulations. We can see these top band are all in blue that signal whale accumulation. Below top three whale bands, other Bitcoin holders have been taking profit and temporarily exiting the market.

This is detected by Cryptoquant and their own metric with definition for accumulative addresses.
Definition of an Accumulation Address:

1/ No outgoing txns.
2/ Balance exceeding 10 BTC.
3/ Excludes accounts belonging to centralized exchanges (CEXs) or miners.
4/ Has received more than two incoming txns.
5/ The most recent transaction occurred within the last 7 years.

Even with the use of email address alone you can explore the casino easily because you will immediately receive the login link through email if you register using email address. There’s no need to input password because you will receive email link whenever you will login to the casino which is very easy and safe at the same time because you can’t be a victim of phishing.
Victims of phishing or not will depend on the website you enter your email address and log in. If you do it on a phishing site, you will receive a log in link in your email from them and your actual account on MetaWin will be stolen.

Log in with an one-time given link via your email is convenient but you must secure your email safely.

Another thing you can keep an eye on is the number of unhandled reports. I was appointed moderator in July 2018, traffic and situation was not the same (ICO craze) as it is today :
I did not update it but the past data can be used to support your point. With latest statistics updates from hilariousandco, total reports and unhandled reports drop a lot.

You can see unhandled report percent (the last column) drops with time till 2021 (with this data sheet).
In the meantime, there are percents of good, bad, unhandled reports per total reports.
  • good: good reports
  • bad: bad reports
  • unhandled: unhandled reports
  • total: total reports
  • good_p: % of good reports
  • bad_p: % of bad reports
  • unhandled_p: % of unhandled reports

You are not quite correct in saying that the Polish section has no moderator. The Polish section currently has five moderators. There are three global moderators and two administrators who can handle reports on the entire forum, including the Polish section.
They have rights to moderate the forum globally and different than local moderators who only moderate their local boards except if they get extra assignments to moderate some other boards. Examples are Welsh and Xal0lex (maybe more).
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Spot ETF's Manipulate Bitcoin's price? on: February 21, 2024, 02:09:33 AM
I don't think there will ever be an honest-to-goodness business here. 1:1 is just on paper, that's why owning real Bitcoin is still the best way to do it.
Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin and gave us unique chance to own private key and be our own bank.

We already were given the chance and we are free to use it to secure our funds through Bitcoin and Bitcoin private keys. If we refuse the chance, and decide to use custodial storage service like Bitcoin Spot ETFs that mostly partner with Coinbase as a custodian, we are accepting big risk.

We should never trust any third party company that they will keep our money safely. Trust sometimes will have to be charge with very expensive cost.
