If I gave y’all a FREE $100 bet on the US election on  @Meta_Winners. Which way are you going ?

It's a poll tweet so probably best to interact if you have time as he may be testing the waters.
This is free money, so I'm gonna bet on the candicate that has a higher odds which also has a decent chance of winning.
Odds now on popular sportsbook.

Donald Trump: -200
Kamala Harris: +200

I think I'm going to go with Kamala Harris as her name has recently been hyped. Maybe that'll help her candidacy and she could become the first female president in U.S. history.

EDIT:
Damn son, someone won the .5 btc comp at 3500 entries (around 30 bucks)! that's real lucky, and some player had 500k entries.

You never know when your luck will arrive so it's always good to try and always expect a win. That 0.5 btc is already a fortune for some, that's a lucky gambler there.

Great game so far for France vs. Brazil. I thought France wouldn't come back anymore, but after being down by 12 points, they finished the first half with a 3-point lead. Victor Wemby is taking over the game already as he brought some energy that has awakened his teammates. Hopefully, he'll continue his aggressiveness in the second half so they can cover the spread, which is -10. They need to win by 8 points in the second half.

The good news is that France seems to have already figured out Brazil’s defense. Wemby struggled in the first quarter but has already found his shot inside, showing a high shooting percentage now. This should continue as he has found his rhythm, unless Brazil will find a way to stop him.

If they don't do anything then provably that there's nothing will happen even if they offer this option since there are lots of casino doing great promotion which is really appealing to gamblers. Hopefully they became competitive and launch something attractive which their potential gamblers to enjoy.

I think they should focus first on what they have. They just recently launched in the forum, so they cannot rush things when their platform is not popular yet. Adding a sportsbook might be too costly for a new casino. Instead of doing that, they should focus more on the marketing side to introduce the casino. Once it becomes more popular and the budget is enough, that’s the time to add a sportsbook.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 1xbit fake reviews on: July 27, 2024, 12:25:09 PM
In the past I noticed too that they were advertised in coinmarketcap like any regular promoter. You can find their banners in many many bitcoin related sites.
And unfortunately there is not to much to do... Or we can just highlight how many big issues or issues not managed they had...
They will do everything just to stay in the competition. Other platforms don’t mind their reputation as long as they are paying and won’t be at risk for legal violations once they accept advertisements from 1xbit. We know their reputation here, which is why they won’t advertise in the forum. They’ll choose review sites and other related websites where gamblers usually go, but not a forum, so there will be no discussions about them.

Although they are still doing that, at least we have done our job here by continuing to expose their scams so the community will know. Bitcointalk (our forum) has been a big help in making gamblers aware if they conduct research before using a casino.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH Senator pushes a Ban to POGOs and All Sort of Online Gambling... on: July 27, 2024, 11:31:43 AM
this make sense ,  because finally after thousand of controversies ? now the government is acting to what is best and better for their people .

Previous administration is protecting this sector due to the profit they can get from POGO. But since election is near again, Politicians is now doing their job to take down POGO to boost their influence to the citizens.

The one that gives them license should be blamed because POGO will not operate in a shady if they are being regulated properly and not just giving them license without doing thorough audit.

I believe PAGCOR gives them license which should be blame for not doing an audit.

That's true. PAGCOR is the one providing licenses to the POGO, but they lack monitoring. It's understandable since the Philippines isn't too tech-savvy yet, and crypto and online gambling seem new to them. I think the government is always late with digital trends due to a lack of training, and probably one big reason is corruption. When a country is corrupt, as the Philippines is, public service is slow. I wouldn't be surprised if PAGCOR, which is supposed to regulate the POGO, is accepting bribes from the operators, making them unable to do their job well.

Germany vs Japan
After the World Cup, Germany has a lot of respect. They may be behind the top teams in terms of talent, but I see a machine-like team on the pitch. The Wagner brothers and Schröder play completely differently in the national team. Germany showed in the last friendly against the USA that they can beat any team. Japan is a team that will play fast basketball and will bring a lot of joy. But their physicality under the basket limits their chances. If Hachimura plays very well and their outside shooting percentage is high, maybe they can show some resistance against Germany. I expect an enjoyable and high scoring game.

If I'm not mistaken, Germany is rank number 2 in the world as they are the FIBA champion and their team are intact with Schröder leading the team. But this is a totally different competition though, I mean every country is sending their best players here, including Japan.

According to this ranking https://www.fiba.basketball/rankingmen, they are rank at number 3 as they ranked Spain in the 2nd place next to USA. Forget that ranking, Germany is still a good tem as they have already proven it during the FIBA world cup, but this team USA that will be playing in the Olympics are probably the best in the USA, so I don't know if they can do it again win the championship.
Quote
Not much of a superstar in the Japan roster though, so it will be tough for them. But it might be good to bet on the underdog in this kind of competition. This players are playing under their flag so there is pride in every game and even if they are the underdog, it will still bring the best out of them.

The only Asian team in the Olympics, that showed Asians really struggle in a big competition. Japan though they also have an NBA player but it's not enough for them to compete against a strong teams which are taller and more physical in the game. However, if they'll surprise us, then i guess I gotta believe myself that Asian team also are good in the biggest competition like the Olympics.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Basketball) Olympic Games Paris 2024 - Betting discussions on: July 26, 2024, 12:39:48 PM
Germany might cover that -14.5 against Japan.
France too with that -10.5 against Brazil.

I'm thinking the same and considering a parlay of these two bets.

The opening will be at midnight in my timezone, and I'm excited to watch this wonderful event as it only happens once every four years.

For the games tomorrow, I think a parlay is more rewarding since I really trust those two teams you picked to win and cover, despite the high spread. Brazil's strength is their inside offense, but I doubt they'll be able to do that against Gobert and Wemby. I think that's a bad match-up, and France might win by more than 30 points.
28  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC GAME ACCOUNT IS LOCKED on: July 26, 2024, 06:52:24 AM
I think that is not fair; they should disclose it since it's your account that is being locked, so you deserve to know the reason why it's locked in the first place. You only bring that here and create a scam accusation if you feel that the reason is not being committed by you, but a site that doesn't disclose the specific reason is very shady in my opinion.

Casino wants it to make private due to security reason. His violation is related to exploit that violates the ToS. Pointing out their findings assuming this user is cheater will make them vulnerable for another attack.

Most of the casino usually have a ToS that they have the right to not explain further/disclose their finding when a user commit a violation in ToS. This is really unfair that’s why I suggest to seek help for an arbitrator because casino will not disclose sensitive information like this in public.

With that kind of rule, it will be easy for them to scam gamblers because they would not tell you the real reason why your account is locked. That TOS is sometimes used for scamming on a casino that doesn't have a good reputation. It will be okay if a gambler knows how to complain, but what if a gambler is just an ordinary gambler who does not know what outlet to go to raise his complaints? That means his money will be gone even if he himself does not really violate the TOS.

This applies to general casinos, so it's really important to choose one that has a good reputation. I think BC Game has built its reputation here, but they have to respond to any accusations made against them to keep that reputation clean.
29  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC GAME ACCOUNT IS LOCKED on: July 25, 2024, 11:48:27 AM
These people refuse to explain the reason for the block. They keep repeating the same thing. Below is the text they sent me again.

https://img001.prntscr.com/file/img001/hQohNk5PTPSLoc9apB-w4w.png

I don't know what to do now. My account is valuable to me because I have one referral who brings me very generous commissions.

Casino typically doesn’t disclosed the specific violation on their ToS unless you challenged them for reconsideration in the forum like this thread or seek help to arbitrator like casinoguru so that casino will handle their findings to them.

In case like this, Casino usually holding something against your account that’s why they decide to lock your account.

@OP, please follow the suggestion of the poster above me. I'm sure you aren't new to making a scam accusation, as you have already made one before against "nftonspin.com."
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you played with the POGO? on: July 25, 2024, 11:23:17 AM
It looks like we have a lot of answers that we are not sure of. <>

According to this article https://hyperlocal.ph/what-are-pogos-and-how-do-they-work-in-the-philippines/

Quote
POGOs fall under three main categories:

E-casinos – Online casinos that operate in real-time, usually offering a variety of games
Sports betting – Gambling that involves predicting results and placing bets on sporting events
Sportsbetting on Regulated Wagering Events (SBRWE) – Regulated by other jurisdictions and provides live audio/visual feeds of events to consumers

So, they likely offer a wide range of games, as popular games attract gamblers. We might not be aware of these because the majority of their customers are Chinese or other Asian people. We can usually tell if a live casino is operating in the Philippines if the dealers and staff are Asians. In contrast, other casinos often feature American or European staff.
31  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 25, 2024, 05:19:48 AM
Scam and fake tokens that borrow names of big company brands will not stop to appear except if government launch new Act on cryptocurrency that can give more rights and straightforward ways for companies to sue scammers behind these scam and fake projects.

I think it's not necessary anymore as it still belongs to the "scam" group, which is illegal and the people behind it should be liable to face criminal charges. That's why investing in crypto is considered risky because of these scams. However, nowadays, people are more educated and mature, so they won't fall for these scams easily. Only those who do not do their own research before investing will fall for this kind of scam.
32  Economy / Gambling / Re: trustdice.win Offering Unrealistic Returns on Staking their Token (TXT) on: July 25, 2024, 04:28:43 AM
Obviously this isn’t sustainable. If anyone could make 2% per day in profits, they wouldn’t need any sort of business or customers. They’d just get insanely rich and move on with their lives. Whenever you see yield promises you have to ask where the yield comes from and if it isn’t sustainable, your investment is the yield.

Probably that will decrease when more and more people are joining the program.
The computation is merely based on the 50% profit on a daily basis as per stated in the rules.

How many rewards can I receive every day?
It depends on the amount of TXT you staked. The more TXT you staked, the more rewards you will get.

The staking pool consists of 50% of Dice game profits.

At 09:00 UTC every day, a certain percentage (1% EOS, 1% BTC, 1% ETH, 1% USDT) of the staking pool will be paid to the TXT holders based on the amount of TXT they staked. You can also calculate your potential rewards on the “Stake” tab of the TXT page.

So more like the amount your stake is gonna be converted to the percentage of share IMO. At the early stage, it could be profitable, but factor such us drop of TXT value might affect your profitability since it's not yet listed in more liquid exchange like Binance.
33  Economy / Gambling / Re: trustdice.win Offering Unrealistic Returns on Staking their Token (TXT) on: July 24, 2024, 12:55:47 PM
I am not so familiar with this but you can read the FAQ to get the full details.

https://trustdice.win/txt/faq

Everything that is written in the FAQ are more reliable, and even if it's too good to be true but if they guarantee it, then it's up to you if you'll trust them. This casino had build a reputation in the forum, so I don't think they will think of scamming.

-----

I read some of the FAQ, I think it's not so simple that you'll just receive 2% daily of your TXT stake.
34  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC GAME ACCOUNT IS LOCKED on: July 24, 2024, 11:36:32 AM
What's up with all the mounting accusations against BC.Game within this forum recently? Some talk about KYC problems while some others talk about getting their accounts locked suddenly.

This doesn't bode well for a site which messed up badly in the past and made a comeback recently. They really need to sort out these issues quickly in my opinion.

They really need to address this. It's alarming that in the message it says it's "final," which means OP could no longer present his evidence if he wants to prove that he did not violate any terms of service. Another thing, they didn't specify the kind of violation OP made, so that alone is quite concerning. I honestly don't like a casino if they give that kind of reply, leaving me hanging while the account is already closed.

@OP, did they allow you to withdraw your funds, or did they confiscate them as well?
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you're winning it's fun but when you're losing it's addictive right? on: July 23, 2024, 12:28:44 PM
Nope. The reason why we get addicted is because we experience winning and think we can do it all the time. Because of that, we don't accept reality anymore. When we lose, we keep trying to win back our losses and be on the profit side because we are very confident in ourselves. Sometimes we don't consider our chances against the house, and we don't recognize the house edge. If we did, we would easily know that we have no chance of winning in the long run, even if the house only has a 1% edge. Our lack of discipline and wrong beliefs make us addicted.

Just imagine if you are new and don't experience beginner's luck, and you are on a losing streak. Do you think you can still be addicted knowing you almost have no chance of winning?
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Filipinos Playing crypto games for a living - Developer even says it is gambling on: July 23, 2024, 11:23:59 AM
This is not stable income for someone to rely on for their livelihood.
Wouldn't you who are reading and writing on this thread wholeheartedly agree with me on this or not?
I've seen some desperate people who dabble in low-income jobs with terrible environments because they don't have much choice with it, so yeah it's not that surprising if some people think easy games with money are worth their time. At the end of the day if they don't get anything from this they'll eventually stop playing, or worse get addicted and fall into some trouble later on. Educating them probably won't work without giving them some tools to survive on their own, so that's that.

If they aren't risking money like in real gambling, then it's not an issue if they get addicted, as that would only mean they're making a lot of money. The risk would probably be their health, as they might not have a balanced life due to their addiction to making money through games. However, this trend is not going to last forever, so it's understandable why they're taking the opportunity to earn while they can.

Life is not easy in the Philippines, a country where corruption is rampant. This leads to a struggling economy and increased poverty, but people trying to find a way to earn money honestly should be commended for their efforts.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: July 21, 2024, 11:52:24 PM
When I was watching the game, I thought that SGA was about to lose. That less than 2 minutes was crucial, I think that Taiwan has got 5-7 points in the lead but turnovers and 3 points led by RJ Abarrientos did it and as well as that shot made by Kiefer.
The last ball posession made the game overtime and our SGA did it well.

True, the Philippines were already down by about three possessions, but we didn't give up, even though the calls of the refs were very obviously favoring the home team. But that was the game. We played hard, never gave up, and made some clutch shots. That shot by Ravena was really big, but Taiwan got back to bring the game into overtime.

I think our imports also did pretty well, but players like RJ Abarrientos and Ravena were big in the clutch. So, a big congratulations to this team! After the last win in 2019, we got ourselves back in first place. Hopefully, they'll continue to work on the lineup so we can at least dominate this tournament, which is easier compared to the other tournaments our team, the Philippines, has been participating in.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is gambling to you, a fanfare or potential financial havoc? on: July 21, 2024, 11:04:37 PM
It is a common question that you have asked and I think it is asked a lot of times as it is a common question. The view of gamblers is not the same as all gamblers. To me, it should be a way to have fun as well as to make money but it is hard and almost impossible for a gambler.

Gambling is definitely a fun activity, just like other forms of entertainment. However, anything done excessively can be detrimental. For example, excessive eating is bad for our health, and excessive gambling can be bad for our finances and overall well-being. Gambling addiction can lead to significant financial problems and can also affect our mental health, as the sense of failure can take years to overcome.

Therefore, discipline is essential in everything we do to maintain control and avoid negative consequences. That's why casinos always issue a warning to "gamble responsibly," because ignoring this advice can lead to disaster.

So when the question arises, why is this person gets addicted, the right answer is because of irresponsible gambling, not because of gambling.
39  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bc.games is a scam now not approving kyc to steal player funds on: July 21, 2024, 03:39:10 PM
Now the casino is a scam why is your KYC not approved? Do you know why this happens? or simply prefer to say "scam".

Bring your concern to the scam accusation board and don't forget to add some evidence to solidify your accusation. With just words, the community will not listen to you and you won't be able to get some help.

Also there's a sticky thread you can use as a reference : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

I am curious about the casino situation you are developing, maybe others are too, so focus on that, prepare your strategy in marketing and recruit some managers who can influence your marketing in the forum.

This requires budget and I think OP doesn't have that kind of budget yet since this ANN Thread ( if this is the final thread) is not yet even properly presented. I mean he could buy a copper membership for him to put some pictures to attract the readers that are potential gamblers as well but that wasn't done, hopefully he has no idea about that yet.  Smiley
