201  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: November 24, 2015, 11:37:01 PM
@Crestington
YES.. a few weeks back he said eh

[NEWS] BitJohn Leaves Cryptsy + Interview
That will give you a summary and a link to his original quote.

I think we have to give some respect to the man.. i never agreed with him and i complained a lot.
But his leaving is big news i thought.. and he does deserve some respect i figure.

EDIT:
It's silly to think his leaving was a non issue and no one really cared or even commented.. WOW !

I used to talk to BitJohn on Skype, he can be a bit of a dick at times but I respect him. If you guys are looking for dirt on him, I don't have anything and mainly just complained to him.
202  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: November 24, 2015, 11:00:30 PM
You know guys it's going to be hard pinning this down.
It's all interconnected web of a small handful of guys
abusing their anonymity to create multiple persona's / online moniker's
for the purpose of manipulating the coin markets and making money.

I said long ago when the scene dies off it will be rat eating rat for survival.
And looky looky LOL
Here we are.. a bloody mess of people pointing the finger as the Shitcoin-fest SS sinks beneath the waves.

a common theme here is much of it all ties back to Cryptsy (and friends)

All of you are lurking this topic waiting for your ass next to come up.
Good.. fuck you !

Seriously i have no sympathy for you fuckers out there at all.. you made your beds.
90% of you in the Altcoin scene are lying back stabbing sack's of shit.
And 75% of you have taken turns whispering in my ear for years (using a pile of account names)

Fess up or not either way your ass's are being pinned to the bulletin board.

Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution- Re-open is now under way  Grin

PS:
I can assure you more is brewing  Cool
Just wait for the super-doxx topic i will make LOL
ALL of you will have all your names and shit on one central topic..
for the cops to look up address's then come and kick your fucking doors in.
Wanna see my folder of all your mug-shots ?
Every day it gets bigger and bigger hahahhaha

EDIT:
By the way guys..
Let's put this into perspective.
How many of you Cryptsy guys have been playing bum buddy with coin cloners ?
How many of you are tied to this shit and have had private convo's with each other ?
Believe it or not we all don't conspire privately behind closed doors as little groups.. *for agenda's*
Take for example suchMoon, Gelb etc.. i have not had 1 single PM with these guys.
Get it ?
Hear me out there guys ?
What you see here is people from all over are coming to the same conclusion independently.
And no none of us are getting paid for squat.. we're just tired watching lazy half ass deceitful scammers ruin crypto.

So I know you really want to tie Cryptsy to the altcoin devs... There is was no secret society of alt coins pump and dumps. In the early days I involved myself with a few coins (all fair releases all before I was a paid employee, Also at the time there were like 10-20 altcoins). We pretty much just listed anything with volume. I literally would use cryptocoincharts.info and pick the highest volume that we didn't have. We also would pull from top of the vote list if it wasn't a custom integration.

If you really want to sniff around for the altcoin mecca.....Bittrex sponsored many, many ICO's (Cryptsy decided ICO's were the devil) and also has the inroads for just about every coin. If truth is what your really looking for that is.

Over the past year Bittrex is pretty much the first to the scene on all coins so your conspiracy doesn't really make sense.

The only communication Cryptsy ever had with devs was for maintenance honestly. Believe what you want and you will, but if you really want to dig I would go digging there.

Now I cannot speak for anything that happened in the last month or so since I quit, but most of the problems you see at Cryptsy again are related to a bloated code base, and too many coins to possibly maintain properly.

EDIT: So ill agree their are issues pretty painfully annoying ones. I think you investigations should focus on that stuff. The other stuff is just way off track.

Wait, you quit working at Cryptsy?

Edit: Looks like you did quit, the conspiracy theorist in me makes me wonder if it has to do with some shady shenanigans in which the company wants to avoid?

203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bernie Madoff would love crypto coins ! on: November 24, 2015, 10:49:00 PM
I changed my polo username to BernieMadoff and suddenly everyone started becoming hostile towards me until InfiniteJest got tired of it and changed my username to ErnieDandruff.

Would be better off to just make a Madoff theme as a joke rather than naming an entire currency after him.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: November 24, 2015, 09:53:29 PM
I haven't posted much in the Clams thread but I am a fan of Clams because it has some of the best built code.

I really with you guys would stop arguing with each other over petty things, if you guys are so concerned about the digging then just fork it out. I see the same dispute over the original idea that I have always seen in that there is always someone saying that the original idea should be stuck to but the truth is that it doesn't matter because ideas change and evolve over time, what was thought to be a good idea may not be in retrospect.

So for the love of god stop arguing and blaming each other and start working together on a solution, persuade everyone why your solution is best or why it should stay as it is, take some polls and rest the matter.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623147.4980

A solution was offered to please both sides

I am for it or at least the option to vote on it

The thing is that I like Clams and I might even have some addresses somewhere that I might be able to claim some Coins. I would buy some and Stake with them but what is preventing me from doing that is that there is a large number of undug Coins ready to be released onto the market and devalue the worth so I would need to wait until the majority of those Coins have already been dumped before getting in, otherwise the risk is too great.

I think the best option would be to set a claim-by date within 3-6 months and then go from there.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon™ HI POS | LiteStake | Multisend | TOR | Android | Cryptsy on: November 24, 2015, 08:54:26 PM

Nice!

Hey I want your opinion on some charting since you really wanted it included into the wallet.

I was thinking about where I could place some charts and what charts to do. The difficulty chart I moved over to the Statistics page here, looks pretty decent and updates the last 2 days of POS difficulty.

But the thing is that the code from philosophercoin basically says "if POS is not active, do not show the POS difficulty but instead show the network Stake Weight"

The easiest charts that could be included would be "POS difficulty", "Total Network Stake Weight" and "Your Total Stake Weight"

Other charts would be more complicated to do and retail space is a bit limited as well, could possibly create a new tab for a few charts though.
Stop adding none sense crap to the wallet. The wallet is using WAY too much resources and performances of my machine. The wallet it self is not optimized at all for Staking. You should focus on that before adding anything else to the wallet because right now you need to remove code and fix the performance issue, its a big deal.

I am staking 13 coins and this is the only coin with this problem.

Why hiding behind a Newbie Account??? What is your First Account here?

This is experimental Software and you don't need to Update

I was probably a little more snippy than I needed to be over the question. When it comes to additions and modifications, the best way to get anything added or optimized is to help find solutions. Help to find the root of the issue, then help to find code and ideas which can solve the problem. If someone is saying "this is crap, fix it", that doesn't help anyone, it is opensource and communal which means we are here helping each other, not getting paid more than what our own Coins are worth and interest we have in learning.

@Hippie Tech - I don't care if you post here but you should spend your time being productive and helping people, this thread is un-moderated so that anyone can voice their opinions even if they are wrong. I haven't been following StakeMiners for some time, if you are insinuating that Cyberpinoy and Big Johnson are the same person I can assure you that they are not. StakeMiners is their own business so whatever reservations you have about them or Cryptsy, please keep your opinions to their threads as it is off-topic.

Hi me ! Why do you sound soo down ? Roll Eyes

Are all of those shitclones seen over at Stakeminers.. yours ?

What do NetCoin, Stakeminers and Cryptsy have in common ?

They are all fully exposed scams with connections to Leroy Fodor aka. BigJohnson cyberpinoy.

Leroy Fodor has gone Full Delusional; StakeMiners is 100% confirmed insolvent!

Its FODORABLELY delicious.. Tongue

No, the only Coins I have worked on have been PayCon and ColossusCoin2. I helped Vegasguy with some of the initial code for FlyCoin and Presstab and others helped him from there. I think Vegasguy paid me about 0.6 BTC for my help, I helped him and he gave me what he deemed was reasonable.

No, I did not request for ColossusCoin2 to be added to Stakeminers and has been months since I have last talked with cyberpinoy.

I have been working with Jahvinci on a codebase for a Marijuana Coin he wants to release called MotaCoin, he wants to finish it by april.

Of these Coins I own approx.

1 Billion CV2 (about 5%)

120k CON

100 FLY

Any other questions?

Is this you or mee ? lol

When you take a picture of a Skype convo it labels your side of the convo as "me"

This is the only account that I use, I have a CON_CEO account that I used for a little bit when I wasn't able to post with this account and briefly had shared access to "colossuscoin" with sudo23 in 2014.

Any more questions?

Cool story bro.

To think you used to be funny.  Now you're just, kinda, sad.
talk about going from 100-0 right fast u lil bitch thats what i thought

LOL You should take your act on stage.

PS: people who actually grew up around that game know not to run their mouth.  Anyone who does, doesn't know anybody and ain't shit.  Wink

Hey what's that? I couldn't make sence of you being a bitch after I said meetup Thursday. By all means keep blowing hot air out your mouth, tbh someone seems bitter or has a case of the hates, bitch please you talk like you know something about the game but you seem to only regurgitate shit that sheep think they know of said game. You're probably some broke ass hoodlum hoodrat who's never seen ten pounds or held 27 grand or 2 racks and 7 stacks in a rubber band of 20s, or sold a zip zone game ounce z card or w.e it is you'd like to call it. Sure I can be heat bag but I've yet to once ever hand out my address or attach individual names to places and etc as such, unless you count my buddy hill but I'd say he's already fucked and willy Whiteside has made quite the stupid choices behind bars stabbing people up on units serving his shit. Besides those two idiots I've yet to truly describe anything, that's what you were basing your argument on me about right? Hey I've got some advice for you, stop chasing water falls stick to the balls and dicks your used to, bitch.

You know what else is funny? Even though I'm in my early 20's, I've probably pushed more cash then your entire family and grandparents income in there life time this summer alone. I had a volume of around 200k plus and that's still technically small considering two people I'm friends with and what they do, and the people above them are in the 8 digit range now. If you were intelligent, you'd come to the conclusion that I'm not a street dealer, I'm closer to a broker or smuggler and that's considered organized crime so I'm not some Surrey hoodlum but yes I'm born and raised from that shit house. Don't get it wrong I love my homies, but I'd prefer leaving and moving to another country  and buying a flat, bar or strip joint. You sir, are a fucking peasent and from the look of it, there's a damn well good reason you probably don't understand half the shit I'm saying because for someone who says "I'm not about this and that" and can't seem to get his geography correct, the only nobody I see is you.

Listen to when the teacher talks because your obviously very ignortant on the subject matter, I'm finished with you son.

'drops the mic'

And yes, in the Garza Facebook collection you can also find the IT boy and there ex-security head, I forget there names but they were all connected. The most hilarious thing is that most of them kept there Facebook friends open so you can take that in three different ways, I suppose first being they cocky as fuck, two they ignorant as fuck, or perhaps both but that's just my opinion on the psychology behind that one.

Dude, you totally should use some punctuation like comma's and periods......

I have edited you for grammar and punctuation but don't let it happen again Smiley

Nah, there aren't any forks, I need to get rid of a couple old branches which don't do anything though.

This is the old thread, wallet listed in the OP won't do anything and it's not maintained.

The new thread has the current wallet.

Golly, here we go again, do they have many roundabouts where you (4) are from?

Hard to believe that such a normal looking guy would behave like this, with the weird lies and now the bizzare fake total cognitive dissonance he is displaying.

Very strange behavior indeed.

Yay, can I get a MEME made now, I can upload a better picture if required

So, some stuff I have seen take place, not comprehensive or complete, just a brush over.

A nice staking platform has been added. Technical support for the coin is high class and responsive. A secondary platform is being built based on the XPYBiTS class. Some features have been added to wallet such as MicroPrimes, scraping addresses and other smaller features. There are some other global adoption and coin acceptance programmes in progress.  Prime Controller bidding has been reeled in and made transparent. A nice comprehensive wiki has been put together by a third party, and some of the community too. There are some other bits forthcoming. You will notice that there is little hype in the community, just facts and product.

There are also the backend work that no one sees, but you all understand this.

On the whole, some value is being given back to the Paycoin investors who were had over by Garza. This is just six months down the line, to be able to get to where they are with all the hacks, DDOS's and generalised hatred left over by Garza, this is quite an accomplishment.

Wrong. Why are you so convinced that the guys who actually implemented the entire GAW/Paycoin fraud operation for Garza are now suddenly the opposite of the crooks that they were some months back? Garza or no Garza currently involved isn't the issue. The issue is that the same people whom you worship have had control of and/or have been developing Paycoin since it was conceived in Garza's asshole.

Don't know why you are shilling PayCoin so hard Krumz, your hero Garza fucked everyone.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / ★ [ANN] [CV2] Colossuscoin v2.0 | X13 | 5000 CV2/Block | SWAP Active | Update ★ on: November 23, 2015, 10:38:17 PM

Steps Stay Safe, you are now able to Store and Stake ColossusCoin2 (CV2) online.
https://altcoinsteps.com/staySafe

Quote
Steps Stay Safe is an online tool, which enables you to store, use and manage different cryptocurrencies.

Over the last few months more and more new coins launched with viruses and trojans. Miners lost a substantial amount of coins being hacked and lost trust in the launch of new coins.

We at AltcoinSteps looked into this problem and came up with the idea of “Steps Stay Safe”. Our solution is to implement a new multi wallet for newly launched coins and older coins as requested by the community.

This online multi-wallet will have the added security of 2fa. We will download wallets from source. This way miners can mine and store coins online. No need to risk and download a new wallet to your computer till you’re sure the wallet is virus and trojan free or you can send your mined coins to an exchange.

If a wallet is broken at any point we can do everything to provide a fix and work with its dev if he is interested, but in the case a wallet cannot be fixed we will not take responsibility for loss of coins.

The fee for this service will be 250 Steps per wallet, 50% of the Steps will be burned and the rest will be put into our development fund.

We will do our best to download new wallets within 24 hours of a coin launch and developers and miners can request to add wallets to our service.

On community request we will be able to add more wallets.

HI Guys, good to know that Cv2 has an online Wallet but wanted to know if the Colossuscoin2 online wallet on https://altcoinsteps.com/staySafe is safe ? Do they use MultiSig?
On Coinbase you can use Multisig https://www.coinbase.com/multisig?locale=en
Quote
Store your own private keys.

You can create a multisig vault in minutes, just like you would a regular vault or wallet. The difference is that you're in total control of your private keys.
Main features

You control the majority of the keys
Keys are created and encrypted in the browser
Send bitcoin with ease using only your password
Buy bitcoin directly into the vault
Invite up to 5 co-signers to a group vault

Is https://altcoinsteps.com/staySafe a Proof of Stake mining pool or just one single (safe??) online Wallet?

We do not use multisig yet, but we will implement that sometime in the future, the steps stay safe wallets can be used both to store your coins(this is mostly for all the new coins that come out and have trojans/viruses) and stake in the online wallet(it is same as you stake on your PC, it is not staking pool)

I have actually heard of steps before, firecat has been raving about it to me for months now but this is the first time I have seen a Coin jump out at me. Great job on the wallet and I love the idea of it.
well we are almost ready to show up even closer to you Wink

lol, well great job on your online staking wallet, I look forward to seeing what else you guys come up with Smiley
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Team FLY : v1.71 New Mandatory Wallet Download Now. on: November 23, 2015, 10:26:47 PM
OK..thanks....all I knew was to withdraw my coins to v 1.7.1. Just making sure.

Hey, I see you have XRA in your sig. Are you a dev for them too? I only have a few but it hasn't been doing very good. Hanging onto the few I have.

Thanks,
CapnBDL
      Cool

Yep, XRA is working quite nicely, have had no reason to make any forks or additions to the code because the blockchain is performing exactly as it should!

But from investors side it was very wise from Vegas, to warn us, before something could get worst! We are really working on a serious coin and handle it like a business...Also, we can make mistakes, like u!

If we fully understand UR bugs, we can move on and everything will work smoothier than before!

Greetz
Meta

I didn't make this last fork, so the bugs are not mine. And to be honest keez has done an amazing job with what I have seen in the commits. When I created the additional transaction fee code, it was something that had never been done or seen before and is quite complex. keez added another even more complex layer to the code, and of course there are bound to be bugs with this level of complexity and on vegas' time table of get it done tomorrow or I will blow everything up.

Realistically it would be great if vegas had a more accomodative/non-adhd timeline where the developer could use testnet for a few weeks to make sure everything works as it should and make proper bug fixes. Unfortunately the timetable is much different and major protocol updates are being crammed in way to fast.

I have now sold out the majority of my FLY but still have a few lingering around to play with. I will continue watching the thread and hopefully vegas will post the full details about what is going on, instead of just private messaging them only to crestington.

Presstab what happened between us was tragic. Im still sad today about it. I really and truly mean that. I still to this day dont understand. You are a good person, I am too. So we both know the facts, and none of it makes any sense. I was trying to put this behind us and move on. I have respected you and have not contacted you as you have asked, I have not posted in your thread. So when you keep posting here, people are going to begin to ask questions, and then I have no choice but to post absolute facts about what happened. Because if I dont, then it looks like im hiding something or did something wrong. So I think we both made some poor judgments that caused us to separate. I respectfully ask that you discontinue discussing it for both of our benefits. It is the best way.  But Ill let you make that decision.

Quote
I didn't make this last fork

Correct, this last fork and all future code will not be any part of Presstabs work. The last 2 wallet updates were codes by Keesdewit.

Agreed 100%. Presstab and Kees are probably the 2 top, most talented developers out there , and they both have been challenged by this horribly complex code. It is NOT lack of talent on their end. Its the fact that I am asking them to do things that have never been attempted in crypto before. So the truth is NOBODY knows what the results will look like. So in an effort to protect reputations, I am the one that is directing these changes to Keesdewit to code. Please do  NOT blame him for bugs. I take full blame when things dont work right. I was the one who directed Presstab to code the 10% fee to Yobit. This had NEVER been attempted before, and Presstab did warn me, in advance that it may not work, and I told him I wanted him to do it anyway and he did. So I want to be clear to everyone about how things are functioning and did function when Presstab was hired by me. Its what happened AFTER the code didnt work on Yobit that I want to forget about Sad  <sigh>

Quote
Vegas' time table of get it done tomorrow or I will blow everything up.

There has only been one time were I have pushed Kees to "get it done now", and thats when withdrawls were stuck on Yobit, and he came we met for the very first time and he said "I can help you". I informed him that yobit had frozen transactions and Ive been looking frantically for a developers for days to help me. I was so desperate to get this fixed and find a dev, that I spammed the forums so hard , I got my account banned for about 10 days for "Spamming the threads", as I had kept posting "Please I need a dev to help, our funds are frozen on yobit". My ban was fully deserved as I admit I was overly aggressive when looking for a dev to help us.

When we decided to go with the new table of fees for V1.70 Kees was notified on 11/11/15 about the changes I wanted and that we we fork on 11/22/15. I never hounded him, or pushed him. He would actually email me with a few questions. You have my full permission to email Kees and verify the facts contained here. I never once pushed him, or initiated an email asking "when will it be done?". It was cool and calm, and stress free. Even now, Crytopia is in maintenance mode. I havent emailed him. Im calm, because he knows what needs to be done, and he takes the initiative.

adhd
I shared this with you in private, I thought I didnt have to explain to you to keep this confidential. The reason is many people are not educated on adhd, so many times they are misunderstood. But while youve brought it up, some of the most creative people in the world have been diagnosed with this "disorder" including Walt Disney, Justin Timberlake, Steve Jobs, Michael Jordan, Jim Carrey, John F. Kennedy and finally the most intelligent man that ever walked the earth... Albert Einstein. So, Let me be crystal clear on this. Im not ashamed. This was and is still today commonly used to bully and degrade people that have this "disorder". It used to affect me, and used to feel ashamed of my "disorder" 20 years ago, but today ive come to terms with it, and I have just accepted it as part of me. It doesnt define who I am, there is nothing I can do to change it, so scream it from the roof tops. Have fun!!! It has taught me to have empathy for those with disorders outside of mental health including but not limited to diabetes , heart disease, those that might be wheelchair bound, and anything else can think of. Its actually made me MORE caring and more compassionate person, and I wouldnt change it if I could. Today I use my gift to help those less fortunate than myself, in the real world and in crypto.

Hopefully Vegas will post the full details about what is going on, instead of just private messaging them only to Crestington.

First, ask me ANYTHING. I will answer it in FULL detail as much as you want. If that answer is not satisfactory, then I will answer in more detail. This helps others understand what is going on too. See, I am careful with my actions as I already know there are those out there that will stop at nothing to shut down FLY. My worse crime is getting WAY over emotional, as I am so passionate about my work here.
The reason why I PM Crestington, is because I needed someone to talk to AND understand the code and why the chain stopped for 2 hours. Crestington is a fantastic listener, and the day had not gone as planned, and I just needed someone to talk to and look at the code and help ME understand what had happened.

So anyone is welcome to ask anything they like, and I will gladly answer. IF the question is about the code, the code is open source. So for those like Presstab there should not be questions about the source code, but if there is, I will need some time to ask Kees, and will copy and paste the answer. So any and all questions are welcome, and I will answer them all in great detail. Until then, Kees and I will be working together today.

Thank you all

Vegas

Haha well FLY is definitely one of the most interesting Coins around. Vegas just reached out to me about some advice on what to do and I agree with presstab in that the best route in creating anything that has to do with a hardfork is that you should setup a testnet for it so you aren't running into any problems.

This is what I wrote to Vegasguy, I was a little drunk when I wrote it though but still sounds nice Smiley

Hey no worries, just don't panic and you'll be fine.

Just imagine it like "whatever it's just numbers on the screen", they only represent the people invested in it and how much they own. It's the people that matter because they are putting their trust in you to make the best decisions. You've got a good thing going and really good ideas so just slow down and take a breather and figure things out before making any rash decisions. Truth is there is no real way to run any altcoin but personally I think that all you need to do is to prove trust to people, they don't care if you make mistakes because you are human like everyone else. One of the best chef's I ever met once told me "own your mistakes" and it rings true because eventually everyone will drop the ball lol

I really liked that you increased the block time to like 5 minutes, I also really liked the fee structure you implanted and the no Fees for multisend, also really like the random superblocks and the possibility of receiving the high fees in Staking. The best advice I can is, is to be open about as much as possible and that will help you most in the longrun.

I'm still a little unclear as to the problem and solution? I'll be code hunting tomorrow so maybe there is something I can help you with?

All right Sir!

What do you think about Philosopherstone "Weight Chart" Feature?  https://github.com/philosopherstonecoin/philosopherstone/releases ?

 In Wallet Weight Chart

The only thing I can think of here's of is the section in the uniform chart feature, difficulty graph.

All right, the uniform chart feature, difficulty graph would be fantastic !!
You can see any chart on presstab block explorer in any time.
Best block explorer - setting the barhigh  for others to raise their game

In Wallet difficulty graph would add the final touch/icing on the cake and I running the Wallet 24 hours a day. Its easy to look @the CON wallet.

Crestington, what do you think, could you add the feature?

...The other explorers are down from a temporary outage on a particular server ...
Looks like the server hosting cv2 explorer and a couple other coins is down, working with them to get it back up and running! sorry for the downtime!!

Any time? I don't think so- Presstab CON block explorer is offline again

I'll add that in today and tinker around with it, I like the charts and will give me something else I can expand upon in the coding.

Thank you Sir CON_CHAIRMAN Smiley That is excellent!!

Hey I added a difficulty chart here

https://github.com/Crestington/PayCon/tree/32bit

I was having some ideas with it when putting it in. What I want to do is to take out a bunch of the POW related stuff in the Statistics page and replace it with charts of your coin weight, networks weight and difficulty over the last 2 days or so. I was looking around for a good way of doing a 20 Block rolling average in order to smooth out the difficulty. What kind of charts would you think about for statistics?

Ill PM you Crestington.. its complicated. I need someone to explain some things to me anyway.

Anyway we have green light to upload to Crytopia again.

Sorry guys.. Im exhausted and need the rest of the night off.

Thanks for all your patience and understanding.

Vegas

Sure that sounds good, just a bit confused as to what's happening.

Give me like 5 sentences or less why your project is going to be a game-changer and why.

Here:

CoinCube, you should recognize clearly that the solution to your enumerated list is a crypto-currency which is distributed in minute amounts to all citizens of the world. And which is not obtained through exchanges.

Once that is circulating and used in a myriad of popular activities on the internet, the elite can no longer stop it.

And this is precisely what I am preparing to launch.

Any way, I have a superior name now. The name to conquer all other names! I will announce the new name when I announce availability of the testnet.

Also I have asked normal people what "bit coin" or "bits coin" means to them, and they all say "bitten coin" or "little bits of a coin", thus normal (n00b not programmers) people do not inherently associate it to digital money. The problem with a name containing "bit" is that if you try to market this broadly, people will not inherently understand it by the very important word-of-mouth (in my case Facebook Likes) viral marketing strategy.

So here was a prior attempt that failed:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beenz.com

Quote
Beenz.com was a web site that allowed consumers to earn beenz, a type of online currency, for performing activities such as visiting a web site, shopping online, or logging on through an Internet service provider. The beenz e-currency could then be spent with participating online merchants.

The marketing and brand concept positioned Beenz as ‘the web's currency,’ global money that would challenge the world’s major currencies.

It failed because of non-viral marketing strategy (as well a horrible name that doesn't mean digital money nor internet money):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beenz.com#Marketing_Campaign

Quote
Marketing Campaign

The company used an innovative guerilla marketing campaign to get the word out in the early days. Instead of distributing a flyer in the conventional way, the company hired magicians and sleight-of-hand experts to slip the flyers surreptitiously into the pockets of members of the public. The flyers depicted "Billy Beenz", the fictional company mascot. Billy had a shock of red hair and a goofy expression.

There was some controversy when it transpired that the flyer distributors were specifically targeting drunk people, in an effort to make their task easier. There were many reports of people waking up after a night of drinking to find the Billy Beenz flyer mysteriously in their pocket.

A physical "flyer" is so far removed from a suitably high conversion rate call-to-action (e.g. "click here now to...") for the user actually interacting with the electronic currency in a way that forms an immediate need for the user and spreads virally from user-to-user.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beenz.com#Business_model

Quote
Business model

The beenz business model was based upon arbitrage. Companies purchased beenz from the company at a locally determined exchange rate. They could then award these to consumers for actions to which the issuer attached value, such as making on-line purchases. Beenz were collected by the user clicking on a Java Applet and entering their email address linked to a beenz account. Consumers were then able to use their beenz to purchase goods from on-line merchants. Each merchant was free to exchange beenz at any notional value they liked, the company assuming that the market would settle the exchange value of each beenz. Merchants were then able to sell beenz back to the company itself at a pre-defined exchange rate. The company made its margin on the spread between the sell and the buy price of beenz in the market. In the later stages, a professional economist was employed to model the behaviour of prices and flows of money in this micro-economy, and keep it healthy.

Cohen's stated long term aim was eventually to allow consumers to purchase beenz directly from the company and for the "beenz economy" to eventually resemble that of a real economy. However, at the time, this was fraught with difficulty as some countries (such as France) expressed a view that such alternative currency schemes were undesirable and that they would seek to prevent them from operating.

This was attempting to drive adoption top-down (merchants incentivizing users), instead of bottom-up (users driving use, bcz merchants never refuse to accept widely held money).

As I said, most people are marketing dunces. He wasted $100 million on stupid strategy that I could have assured him would fail, and is the same reason I am sure Monero and every other altcoin will fail (unless they change their marketing and are capable of doing so, i.e. copying my lead).

Here follows a link to another attempt where scaling is too slow compared to what I will introduce, because their marketing presumes users, merchants, and vendors are distinct:

https://www.cashu.com/index.pl

And here again as follows Ven is attempting a similar goal but the marketing problem again is the distribution to the users, as Ven requires users to "Top Up" which I assume means exchange some fiat to obtain some Ven:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ven_(currency)

Quote
Ven (sign: VEN) is a global digital currency traded in international financial markets and originally used by members of a social network service, Hub Culture, to buy, share, and trade knowledge, goods, and services. The value of Ven is determined on the financial markets from a basket of currencies, commodities and carbon futures. It trades against major currencies at floating exchange rates. Ven is currently listed on the LMAX Exchange.

History

According to Hub Culture, Ven first appeared as an application in Facebook on 4 July 2007.

In 2009, The Wall Street Journal described the currency as being pegged to the US dollar, and used by Hub Culture's users to trade goods, services, and knowledge. One user described having been paid in Ven for making introductions and other favors.

FEDERAL RESERVE FASTER PAYMENTS TASK FORCE GATHERS SPEED

Hub Culture and Ven are part of the 300 person strong Faster Payments Task Force, a landmark initiative by the Federal Reserve to build consensus around payments innovation in the United States.  The task force includes leaders from across the world of payments, including banks large and small, service providers, stakeholders, regulators and academics from the United States.

Through a series of calls, webinars and in person meetings, the task force seeks to understand and develop end-to-end solutions for ubiquitous, secure payment infrastructure in the financial services industry. The effort is particularly centered around the Federal Reserve’s payment services.

This week the group is meeting in Chicago to continue refining criterion for approaches to faster payment systems in the US, and to develop the conversation on a wide range of issues concerning other aspects that emerge from the work. Over 4,000 have signed up to monitor the progress via online tools.

Digital assets like Ven and identity/compliance systems like HubID are part of the conversation with other approaches and services as part of the ‘non-bank providers’ working segment.

Together, the blueprints for faster payments in the US and beyond are emerging, but a final solution is not expected soon. Working groups and segments are are set to continue development through 2016 as part of the existing remit of the task force, with an ongoing series of meetings and other activities.

Don't care about eating crow and will never invest in your Coin no matter how good it is because you continually assault anyone that have any objections. You have this "higher than thou" attitude that I find absolutely repulsive, you have a high mathematical aptitude but suck at social interactions.

+1, my sentiments exactly. I wouldn't invest in this "coin" even if Giselle Bundchen came over and blew me every time I made a transaction. Not that it would ever happen... can't make a transaction with vapour  Cheesy

My 25 year old gf (half my age) is better looking and an order-of-magnitude more sexy than her (well depending on your preferences)! And more importantly, her attitude and personality is excellent (doesn't give me a lot of headaches that I would get from a typical female).

You guys have the ego problem. I simply do what I do. You guys are elbows and acrimony.

She (and I) are not always photogenic, but some of these nearly capture the live attraction. Click these to view larger:

And with the "old" man (me). The sleeveless shirt pics were in January 2015 (other pic taken when I was 26, and last pic was September was still recovering from fasting):

And this is from August driving to buy goat's milk, after I water-only fasted for 10+ days and dropped below 60 kg body weight (I appeared to be and was indeed very ill, and afair bed ridden soon after that trip):

[PRE-ANN] Ƀits [Bits] w/ anonymity - launching 01/12/2015
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1235917.0

Interesting. Found these below, but not the bitscoin.io mentioned at your link. Blurb repeatedly mentioned "we".

...To protect the Bits crypto-token protocol usage, I registered the following domains:

bitscoin.org
bitscoin.us

I am amazed the first domain is available, because it is a one letter misspelling of bitcoin.org which is taken to be the official domain of Bitcoin. So if people start using bits and get confused with Bitcoin, they might type bitscoin and end up at my site. Note it appears bitscoin.com and bitscoin.net are both for sale (the latter for $1500)...

That is fine. Let them copy my ideas. If they gain any usership then I have those superior domains to reverse leech off those who leeched off me. Also I stated up thread that I was not thrilled about reusing Bitcoin's "bits", Bitstar's "BITS" and also close to existing coin name Bitz.

Note I have been busy programming (literally 17 hours daily). I got mired down in trying to get a tool chain running for GUI C debugger. Cripes some things are just a lot fucking harder (on Linux) than used to be in days where I could install Visual C from CDrom and be done.

So people should buy your altcoin because you posted some pictures of a girl which you claim is your girlfriend and some company wasted 100 million dollars slipping promo flyers into pockets of drunk people?

Can you just organize what you plan to do, how and why? I just keep seeing "it's going to be amazing and everyone will want my ideas", some random examples of things that didn't go according to plan (or completely unrelated), and that your Coin is going to be better but "can't share the details"

You have a beta or something? Some examples or videos of your code in action?
