201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin creating panic again? on: April 22, 2020, 05:22:52 PM
hahaha..most likely that is exactly what it is doing at this moment. At least the last shake out from weak hands before we approach bitcoin halving. I would not be surprised if bitcoin price reduces further this week to say $6.5k before we can finally see a rise from that end. The best option is to hold till halving.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next movement in the market on: April 20, 2020, 04:25:21 PM
Definitely, COVID 19 has an influence on the crypto market but I believe things are going to turn around soon based on the following factors:
1. Gradually, some countries are lifting lockdown to increase economic activities once Again, Wuhan in China has done that and just yesterday I heard Ghana has also lifted its intercity travel ban. Parts of Germany have also resumed some activities and all these are likely to influence the market trend positively.
2. The imminent BTC halving and the launch of Ethereum PoS protocol.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which projects do you hold? Which ones do you believe in? on: April 20, 2020, 04:05:51 PM
I have been going in all on BTC and ETH till I came across $DIVI and $DGB. These coins are some masternode coins with very good use cases that you can look into. Their masternode returns are very great and what really keeps me still holding unto them is the activeness of the team with giving updates to the community.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum going upwards brace yourself, and simply hodl now. on: April 20, 2020, 03:52:55 PM
that's right! The price of Ethereum will continue rising as its launch of Proof of Stake is approaching as well as Bitcoin halving also approaching. This is the best time to purchase more of Ethereum and hold for a very midterm profits once they launch their Proof of Stake protocol.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Minereum- Another Ponzi Scheme ? on: April 19, 2020, 02:30:34 PM
When I saw this project in the very first place I knew something was going to get shady along the line. I'm glad it did not take long to see them pulling this old trick of ponzy schemes. I think it's high time people really learn more about project before investing and stop falling for shouts of moon in the upcoming days. Let's always try and do our best to do a good background search about any coin before we decide to invest in.
206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 and Altcoins on: April 19, 2020, 02:22:31 PM
Once, bitcoin halving approaches and we see a rise in its price, altcoins are also going to increase in price as well. Coins like Ethereum, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic are going to ride up with the rise in Bitcoin but for newer altcoins price will not be affected much. It's best to invest in major altcoins if you are looking to make some profits out of this upcoming Bitcoin halving.
207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin set to RISE into the Halving? on: April 19, 2020, 02:17:31 PM
Most likely, the price of bitcoin will increase as the halving approaches but I have always been saying it is not going to increase way up high as most people have been anticipating to see another bull run. I still remain my stance, we are going to see a price increase but not much.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Make the Move on: April 18, 2020, 02:42:03 PM
Made a move yesterday after coming across few threads about coinomi wallet in wallets thread of this forum, missing funds, stolen recovery seeds, some said it's coinomi team, some blame SSL but I don't want this to happen to me, I finally switched to Trust wallet even though it's not fully open source, I hardly heard anything bad about the wallet.
No offense, but is it a coincidence or this is somehow this is being planned? Is trust wallet doing an underground campaign or a promotion of its wallet? This is the second or third thread I am seeing about Trust wallet and how good it is. Something just doesn't feel right Roll Eyes
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5G & Bitcoin Risks? on: April 18, 2020, 02:20:10 PM
Current cell towers already have cpus? There are fewer towers due to frequencies but 5g might not need as powerful cpus either per tower...

Most data is encrypted end to end too... WhatsApp is encrypted with only the sender, receiver, server, and whoever the server distributes it to. Censoring private messages is nothing western governments should really tolerate.

The 5glte, 5g+, 5g super high performance may come out, but I don't know how likely it is to not have a continuously evolving set of standards..

In the UK 5g with Vodafone started at about 40 mbps and three at about 20, already Vodafone has advanced to 150mbps so I imaging this'll just continue. The more towers the better the coverage is probably the way they'll go, 5g compatible devices are compatible up to 10gbps and there may be a point where it needs extending further but for now that isn't necessary.
Are you saying we have already people using the 5G network? I read sometime ago that it was harmful and several Environmental analysts were campaigning against its installation and it seems it is already in motion. Wow, I have even read documents linking a theory of this pandemic to the secrete installation of 5G network. I guess I need to do a bit of more research about this.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin halving real or just a theory?? on: April 18, 2020, 02:16:09 PM
So with all the evidences and successful two halvings already done the OP still asks whether this is real or a theory. Well stick around till May ends and you will find that answer yourself. Bitcoin halving is going to happen since it has been engineered into the network to do so and it does not need the approval of anybody to execute this function. it is automatic.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: April 17, 2020, 05:53:29 PM
I think the OP has clearly given much information about how to spot a possible scam bounty and I just wish bounty hunters would heed to this piece of advise and campaign for projects that are worth it! Sometimes, we are all part of this menace you know, once a scam projected is promoted by several individuals you are likely to conclude this project will be good but most of the time it turns out not good. Look at what happened to MiracleTele and BCNEX. Total scam projects yet they had great reach in this industry.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: April 17, 2020, 05:24:04 PM
Frankly speaking, I prefer using Coinaprika or Coingecko instead of Coinmarketcap. Coinmarketcap might have achieved a big name in this industry but they are not offering the best of services to this industry. They just list tokens without doing any research. Moreover, on Coingecko, one can calculate the value of a token he is holding.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust wallet rocks on: April 17, 2020, 05:16:12 PM
Trust wallet is one of the most secured and easy to use the digital wallet in this industry. I think CZ's contribution and partnership towards this company have influenced this as well. One feature that I like about the trust wallet is the shortest automatic quick locking of the wallet when you navigate from its interface. Blockchain app has a wide window and this can be exploited in case someone gets hold of your phone.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So are we waiting for Ethereum 2.0 to take full effect in 2030? on: April 16, 2020, 10:46:48 PM
Wow, this is really going to take a long while but I don't think the Ethereum community will be very pushy if the developers need this time in order to make this upgrade and development secured.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the new method of "Initial offering" this year? on: April 16, 2020, 08:37:32 PM
I think Initial Exchange Offering will still reign in this industry looking at how they are structured and planned. First of all, it is organized on a platform full of traders and there is the assurance of ready exchange listing once the IEO is completed. Which investor does not like this and I don't think there is any better proposal of building a project aside from the use of IEO.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is the best to earn more? airdrop or bounty? on: April 16, 2020, 08:12:20 PM
How much you can earn in airdrop and bounty? Which is the fastest way in earning?
No offense but both are not worth that much as they used to be back in the days. Moreover, there is no quick way of earning money in crypto unless you plan on scamming others of their hard-earned money. The surest ways, is to invest at the dips and hodl for long term.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: April 15, 2020, 02:49:38 PM
We have experienced similar issues in this forum as well and it's quite heartbreaking when things get this way but you can't say it is a form of cheating because the OP statement might have made it clear that he has the right to change the rule when needed and this only comes to play when there is a sense of cheating.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can go to proof of stake after they see how ethereum goes on: April 15, 2020, 02:08:32 PM
In as much as this is a good idea, I don't think all these huge mining farms will consent to the idea because this will take away all the supremacy they have over the network in gaining BTC rewards. Ethereum will definitely do well after they switch over to Proof of Stake but I don't think bitcoin enthusiasts will follow suite, never!

220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to discuss next halving? on: April 10, 2020, 10:53:40 PM
Everybody knows about this halving but one thing we are not coming into terms is that the world's Economic force is down and money is not flowing into any market. The little people got stored up are being spent during this lockdown hence this halving will not bring about any huge rise in the price of bitcoin. i think we need to make this clear so that people don't put all their hopes in it.
