201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 24, 2024, 08:56:09 PM
I agree with you. I think Mbappe will continue to give his best because winning the league title and UCL will add to the list of trophies he has. Of course Mbappe will not betray his teammates by playing badly because he will leave PSG next season. Mbappe will play in Madrid and I think that will give him more spotlight. As I said Mbappe loves Ronaldo and Real Madrid so of course playing for Madrid was his childhood dream. And finally he managed to make it happen at his prime age. Can't wait for the records he will break with Real Madrid.
Mbappe is very likely not to betray his team mate in the Ligue 1 by playing badly due to the fact that he will be leaving the team soon so he wouldn't want to give his best and help the team win a trophy if they can , because doing that will not only be bad for the team but will aswell be a bad record for him too so I don't think he would be willing to do such a thing.

Real Madrid is now like a dream come true for kylian mbappe because he has always wanted to play in real Madrid a d the team aswell has always kept an eye on him ever since he has been a player in the PSG and at a much younger age than he is now, mbappe is a good player and striker which is what Real Madrid needs currently so he's definitely going to fit so well I'm his role as a player in Madrid as the position for him to fill is readily available for him to fill so I think it's going to be a really good one for his career and it's going to help him achieve that which he couldn't at PSG .

This is so yesterday to think that Mbappe would underperform because he might have a pre-agreement or pre-contract signed with Real Madrid. How weird is it even to think that this could be the case?

This guy is equipped with hundreds of millions in his pocket and he is fully independent. He wouldn't give a *** if he plays against Real Madrid and destroys them. He wants to become the next best player in the world and he is tired of losing that competition and he wants that award. The only way to get there is to win the Champions League. Whether Real Madrid is his opponent or West Bromwich Albion, he doesn't care.

Bologna has managed to have an impressive result in this season especially for home matches so yes, because Bologna is playing at home against Verona who is in the relegation zone then of course Bologna still manages to win in this match. Also, the truth is that Bologna has good dominance whenever Bologna plays against Verona. Moreover, in this season Bologna and Verona really have very different results and their positions in the table are also very different. So yes, it remains easy a predictable result for a Bologna v Verona in the match, and the result is really happening for Bologna win and keeps its position well in the temporary top four.
This victory made Bologna successfully climb to fourth place in the Serie A standings. Currently Bologna has played its 26th match, and now has 48 points, three points ahead of Atalanta. Even though Bologna has played 26 matches and Atalanta has played 24 matches. However, Bologna's opportunity to maintain the Champions League zone is still open.

The reason is that Atalanta will face tough matches in the next three matches and it is possible that they will lose points. Of the three matches that Atalanta will face, they are against AC Milan, Inter Milan and Bologna. Atalanta is likely to lose 6 points.

That would be a big jump for them and what's even better, AC Milan is playing against Atalanta, which means that Bologna will certainly be the winner of the matchday no matter how the game between Milan and Atlanta ends. Now with regards to the Champions League qualifiers I think for Bologna it would be better if AC Milan wins the game as Atalanta has two games in hand and if they win both, they could get ahead of Bologna again by quite a bit as they also have the superior goal difference. But if Milan wins, Bologna is fine as their maximum goal for this season is 4th position. But what a season played by them so far, I didn't take notice of them until I saw they are competing for the top 4.

More rumors today about Osimhen.

As we already know they already announced that he leave Napoli, he will probably go to PSG at this point over Mbappé.

It doesn't happen very often that I think a rumor carries a lot of value, but I think in this particular case that transfer would make a lot of sense from many perspectives. Osimhen has been playing for Napoli and I assume he got a good salary, but nothing out of the ordinary yet. He is after a lifetime contract that finally pushes him into the 9 figures. That's what he could get when he decides to go to PSG. At the same time he is a very good striker and I think a worthy replacement for Mbappe. In my opinion he is certainly not the same league as Mbappe, but he would fit into the team quite well. This could be more than a rumor.

Even with those problems, they managed to draw with Barcelona. I don't think Barcelona have any serious problems that prevent them from winning, at least they are playing better than Napoli. Napoli are awful this season, as their play shows, I'll be surprised if they go any further
Both teams are equally bad in terms of consistency, but Barcelona is certainly better than Napoli. As bad as Barcelona's performance is, they are still a team that has the possibility of qualifying for the Champions League next season. Currently Barcelona is in 3rd place in the La Liga standings and they also have the potential to take second place from Girona if Girona loses points in the next match.

Napoli are not very reliable in the Champions League and basically they are more likely to fail to qualify for the quarter-finals. I think Barcelona will qualify for the quarter-finals, they have a good performance to be underestimated.

I saw two different games in two different halftimes to be honest. In the first half there is no doubt that Barcelona should have probably taken the lead by at least two goals. But when they had this single goal, I thought all the time that this could backfire as we should keep in mind that Napoli has its own Lewandowski who can score anytime and that is what Osimhen did. And when you see how the game went after that Napoli goal, I think if they won the game eventually it wouldn't even have been undeserved. They had their fair amount of chances and offensive pressure. That's Barcelona's biggest weakness. They play well, don't score and then concede goals.

Steven Gerrard is not a decent coach even though he is a Liverpool legend it is not a benchmark that will make Liverpool better, we know how Gerrard handled Aston Villa it was bad the same thing with Lampard who handled Chelsea equally bad.  Grin

Xabi Alonso is now getting closer to Bayern Munich, maybe the agreement will be accelerated considering that Tuchel has no chance in the Bayern Munich chair.
Zebri? I'm not sure he can handle Liverpool well afterwards but we want to hear more about which option Liverpool will choose.
Sometimes being a legendary player and always playing well as a player is not a benchmark that they will be successful as a coach.
This depends on how the coaching method and expertise of each in training because after all, achievements as a player and coach are sometimes different.
A good example by bringing Lampard at Chelsea in this case although it does not rule out the possibility that we see several coaches such as Zidane in Madrid and Xavi in Barcelona who have good performance but on the other hand this goes back to expertise because after all being a player and coach is a different proportion.

On the other hand, for Gerrard at this time for Liverpool is a gamble. Indeed we know that he is a legend but on the other hand it will not be suitable as a benchmark that he will be able to support Liverpool even though he is a former Liverpool legend.

Yes this is so true and I am not sure how many people do the easy transfer of the quality of a player to then later become a coach of the same quality.

It's both ways actually. There have been awful football players that became excellent coaches and there have been excellent players that have become awful coaches. It's really two totally different jobs.

I think as a coach you are not a team player in the sense as you are as a player. You have full responsibility and of course there are skills that are similar or overlap between the two positions, but it's still a different thing to lead a whole team instead of taking care of your single position in a game.

Sure, we don't know what's actually happening with Zidane. But he seems enjoying his life without managing any team. He rejected some offers from big teams in the world, he still has no big interest to manage any team, including Real Madrid. I assume he has a serious business that he wants to focus on developing the business himself. It shouldn't be about his family only, there should be another strong reason.

Zidane is a typical manager who doesn't want to hurry accepting an offer. He considers many things, including his right when he is managing the team. As far as I know Zidane is the manager who doesn't want to intervene by the club management or the president when he is managing the team. Since every team has its own goal, it is difficult to let the manager alone in controlling the team. TBH, I've no idea about which team that is suitable for Zidane.

- Picture taken from Globe Soccer

I think he is not the classical coach, he is not the teacher with an education, but he has this character and aura that others look up to and listen to. And he is not quite like Maradonna who was a great player but not really a great coach because he had not structure in his life and was chaotic. But Zidane seems like this guy who always has control over any situation and that can help players a lot. He might not be as well versed tactically as Guardiola, but he does have something that others don't have.

But I have to contemplate his achievements and add that the winning streak in the Champions League was a mix of great play and a lot of luck as well. Some of the goals Real Madrid scored would not have been given in recent times due to VAR corrections. But it's what it is and I doubt that anyone will anytime soon break his record of three consecutive Champions League wins. He knows what he is worth.

Can't speculate with Zidane future will be Bayern Munich manager or not because he was reject many top teams offer and more prefer spend his time with family, after leaving Real Madrid since 2021 Zidane never got deal with any other team for signing him. Manchester United almost close for signing him but Zidane seems not happy with England culture and he can't adapt well with England language.
I doubt with Bayer Munich manager approach will make Zidane acceptable their offering after bad result under Thomas Tuchel and Bayern Munich's management ty to sign Zidane.
Payment salary seems not problem for Zidane, he can earn higher salary by accepting Saudi Pro League team offer but he most waiting the best time return to be football manager.

I don't know what the private motives are that Zidane might or might not have. Whether it is the family why he declined some offers or whether the offers were just not what he was looking or waiting for, I can't tell.

But he has said a few things about his criteria upon which he bases his decision on whether the train a club or not. There is the rumor about the language barriers, but I don't know if this is true or not. I know he is a smart guy and I would be surprised that language would be a barrier if is really convinced of an offer. Zidane is speaking Spanish as if he was born there and he seems to be able to absorb new knowledge quickly. I think if a club like Manchester City would call him, language would not be a barrier. But Bayern is maybe a bit harder as English is closer to Spanish than the German language and Bayern is not like Manchester City.

The impact of injuries to several of Barcelona's core players was quite large on their performance in the Domestic League competition, which ultimately resulted in Barcelona losing many points in their competition in La Liga. but in this match, Barcelona inevitably had to take advantage of the momentum when they visited Napoli's headquarters. the reason is, Napoli's performance is much messier than Barcelona.

I think Barcelona will win this game, except this new manager Napoli hired will have an immediate impact.
Barcelona seem to be getting better and they play better recently, if they don't concede cheap goals they might win this game.
Napoli is not a team that plays defensive football and that's an advantage for Barcelona, even if it can be a disadvantage.

It's an advantage in the sense that, Barcelona struggle to score against teams that defend well. They prefer teams that leave spaces behind. But if the team is compact in defense they struggle.
The disadvantage is that, Barcelona doesn't have a solid defense this season so if you press them, they will make silly mistakes and concedes.

I am watching the game and Barcelona is pressing quite hard, but don't forget that this game is quite taxing and they won't be able to go like that for the full distance. If they don't use their advantage and score a goal, everyone knows how that can end. And Napoli is not some mediocre club that can't score a goal out of nothing. So either Barcelona gets something out of it, or I wouldn't be surprised if Napoli gets their chance and do take the lead. This could easily be one of those games.

Your analysis could not be further from the truth. Lazio wasn't lucky. Bayern Munich did not have a single shot on target in 90 minutes. I am saying no shot, nada! They were passing the ball back and forth, they had good accuracy and the tried to get shots on target all the time, but they did not manage to force the Lazio goalkeeper to defend a single shot! And you call that lucky Lazio? Or is Bayern's inability to play fruitful attacks recently?

I ask you, did you see Upamecano's foul in the box and how he jumped onto the leg of Isaksen? That was insanity and he risked to break his leg... Tell me that was no penalty! Cheesy
Yes, I saw his foul not only in the Lazio game but also in the Bochum game. But that's not the point. If Lazio hadn't scored a penalty, the score would have been 0-0. Now tell me Lazio didn't win that match because of the penalty. Of course the red card was shown fairly and Lazio probably deserved this win. But anyway this victory was only because of the penalty and not otherwise.

Please don't misquote me. I never said that the penalty was not decisive, it was! The penalty was the reason why Lazio won the game. But I countered your claim that the win was lucky. If a defender attacks an offender in the most stupid and aggressive way possible in the box, isn't it rather Bayern' stupidity instead of Lazio's luck that this game ended with a win for Lazio? That is what I said.

I also said that Bayern did not have a single shot on target. Now I will use your strategy and say "Now tell me that Bayern didn't win that match although they had so many huge chances". They had chances, but the entire team failed at even making the goalkeeper use his hands once! Can you believe it? It's true, check the game. Bayern did not have one shot that the goalkeeper had to defend. They were not able to hit any zone within the frame of Lazio's goal in 90 minutes. Lazio lucky? Or Bayern weak?

...

if you are using money market/stocks accounts and CD's you are not "saving" you are "investing"

savings are suppose to be the easy access funds where you cant lose money by withdrawing immediately..
investing however has the risk of panic selling at a loss..

so if you need to have money to rescue you from unexpected incidents. save it..
then with other income you get you can invest that knowing you dont need to quick dip into investments. because the savings will save you

if you are wanting to put money aside for later PLANNED events/items later on..  where you are not looking to spend it on emergencies but want to accumulate some increases whilst not spending it. then yes invest it on some short-mid term investment plans, where some accounts lock funds up for 3-6-12months offering X% fixed high yield interest. but these are treated as investments(wealth creation) not savings(rescue funds)

But I know several people who pile up cash they can withdraw immediately with no time delay just for the purpose of hunting down unexpected investment opportunities and I know it did work out for them quite frequently since they know the markets very well that they are operating in. Having cash available right now for assets of an asset class that somebody knows very well with respect to unexpected short-term opportunities can be a good strategy. Not locking up the funds for 2% interest can pay even if somebody foregoes the potential interest for quite some time if an opportunity then arises that saved the buyer 20% of the market price because of sudden fire sales from somebody who is about to go broke.

There are plenty of examples that I know about when people told me they kept plenty of cash in the bank in order to be ready once this or that opportunity pops up out of nowhere. There are certainly financial set ups that could be arranged with banks in other ways, but there are people who operate with cash in the bank they can withdraw any moment. Savings for potential investments in unpredictable opportunities so to say.

Lazio only beat Bayern thanks to a red card and a penalty. This is the case when only luck but not professionalism helps to win. I do not exclude that Atletico may not lose today, because in football often unpredictable things happen and Inter and Atletico are about the same teams, but still I think that Inter will win because now their class is higher than Atletico's.

Your analysis could not be further from the truth. Lazio wasn't lucky. Bayern Munich did not have a single shot on target in 90 minutes. I am saying no shot, nada! That being said, it is reasonable to believe that no sec-2 curve has an NSA backdoor.
Believing that it doesn't have an NSA backdoor is reasonable. However, you can't throw it around the board as a fact. We don't have evidence of it being free of backdoor. We simply know that it's open for public scrutiny years now, and that a backdoor in such an examined algorithm would be likely discovered by now. That doesn't nullify the doubt.

It’s some unique quality but in one instance, you serve as mixers and coin offerers all in one.
Cash has existed for centuries, in much larger scale, and is equally or even less traceable than Monero. Yet, no user was subjected to using its banknotes for "mixing". Everyone accepted it.

I have been thinking about this as well and I am all for never say never here. There have been examples for backdoors that went undetected for decades.

But I find one idea quite compelling to think about, do you think that publicly available artificial intelligence will come to a point where it can be asked for vulnerabilities in the most secure (or rather most pervasively used) algorithms or could it intentionally be fed an information a la garbage-in-garbage-out such that it always provides an answer pleasing the public? If AI becomes more intelligent at an exponential rate while an algorithm is a static mathematical construct, would the chance be that those developing AI would/could be the ones to know first?

What I also wonder is whether a backdoor could in any case be detected as having been introduced deliberately by someone? I am sure there are cases where it could be, but there are probably cases where someone could say it was just a mistake in the code.

Sometimes one will wonder if Zinedine Zidane doesn't like making money. He kept turning down several coaching offers and nobody knows his preferred club. Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso is the preferred choice of Bayern Munich if Thomas Tuchel is sacked but Zidane and Solskjaer are plan Bs in case they fail to get the main target. The management of Bayern has begun to lose confidence in Tuchel because of the club's poor runs. They have lost three straight games and the recent loss against Bochum has compounded his problems.

After nine years of playing at Manchester United, this might be the perfect time for Marcus Rashford to leave the club and face a new challenge somewhere else. United might be willing to let him go because his performance has declined making the Englishman scoring just five goals in thirty games. He has also had several disciplinary issues that have made coach Ten Hag drop him several times for important games. Maybe it might be the perfect time for United to let him go if PSG is willing to pay the price.

This is completely the wrong approach to think about Zidane! I believe that he is making money nonstop, the cash is rolling in all the time for him. He is a very popular face for ambassador roles, he is very smart in my opinion and I can imagine he is also an entrepreneur who has made smart investments. I like his lifestyle an he looks like one of the happiest and fulfilled people I know. I sometimes watch interviews with him or wherever else he shows up and you never ever see him being stressed or pressured. And don't forget that making himself scarce is and has always been his perfect strategy to drive price up for any engagement he may enter into in the future. Every club knows by now that having Zidane sign a contract is not possible below any amount far South of 20 million a year I guess. He is doing the exact right thing.

MU managed to win the match against hosts Aston Villa through a winning goal scored by Mc. Tominay in the 86th minute. I think MU will only end in a draw. An expensive win for MU, because with this result MU can reduce the points gap with Aston Villa. The next match, MU will meet Luton Town, it should be an easy opponent for MU.
To be honest, I don't know if Manchester United will be able to win against Aston Villa and this is quite surprising to many people. Red Devils fans are very happy with the performance of their favorite team and this could be the start of the revival they have been waiting for for a long time. Luton shouldn't make it difficult for Manchester United because they managed to prove their victory by beating Aston Villa.

Now it is known that Manchester United can win against Aston Villa and it is a fact that Manchester United was living up to expectations. They had a lot of chances, created a lot of attacks with a decent level of creativity and I have to say that it was one of the better games they played this season. Both teams are struggling in delivering consistent results, but this was a solid performance and although Aston Villa was pushing towards the end of the game, Manchester United had a response for them.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 11, 2024, 02:03:47 PM

Remember Chelsea lose to Manchester United, so it means.

Aston Villa < Chelsea < Manchester United, this is actually a good moment to bet Manchester United to win because the odds is high.

If your formula was correct, I would be betting on sports all day long! Wink

But the truth is that the formula will barely hold true. How about Aston Villa > Manchester City > Manchester United ==> Aston Villa > Manchester United. Does that count as per your theory? Tongue

It really doesn't work like that as all of those teams you mentioned above are unpredictable. Chelsea is so wildly performing that you never know whether they will beat a top four team or lose against a team from the relegation zone. It's all possible. I remember before the turn of the year they were playing crab and then they beat Tottenham away from home 1-4 and then tied the game against Manchester City 4-4 only to then lose against Newcastle 4-1. I don't know what's going on there, but Aston Villa is the same now. And Manchester United is again the same.
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think? Lump sum vs DCA best accumulation strategy. on: February 11, 2024, 01:23:52 PM
For me personally, if I had a large amount of fiat to buy bitcoin with, I'd just do it all in one shot instead of DCA'ing--but that's just because I think the price is headed much higher.  But I don't, and I'm not even doing DCA so it's a moot point.  However, I think for those folks who also don't have enough to buy a big stash of BTC, DCA is probably a smart strategy.  I'm not sure if Michael Saylor has been doing that, but he certainly hasn't made one single purchase, and his company has the cash to buy plenty.

I think any kind of buying strategy in the crypto market takes a lot of discipline and steady nerves.  The volatility alone can make anyone doubt what they're doing if they've got any reservations whatsoever about bitcoin or whatever altcoin they're buying.  It can be a hellish ride at times, ya know?

I think for large companies with tons of liquidity there is more flexibility in adjusting their purchasing strategy. When you look at Micro Strategy's purchases, I don't know if the goal was to accumulate and increase their portfolio through DCA, or whether DCA just was the required means for a higher purpose. In my opinion their main objective was to build a powerful position in the market. They have added BTC all the time, no matter what the price was, whether the sentiment was negative or positive. It's quite impressive and by now they do have a position that is really powerful. They now own close to 200,000 BTC and there's definitely some game theory kicking in here among the biggest players in the industry. If there is a player like Micro Strategy and that player is increasing their portfolio more and more, on the one hand it creates positive momentum and sentiment and also some pressure on other big players to not fall too far behind, and on the other hand it gives Micro Strategy a massive leverage option against players trying to short the market and put downwards pressure on the BTC price. Since BTC is deflationary, Micro Strategy is also soaking up more and more of the circulating supply, making it more scarce at the same time.

i am curious how they will execute their strategy one day, whether they already have an end game in mind or whether they keep buying and observing market developments. It's an exciting but also somewhat crazy strategy because they gain additional leverage when BTC's price increases due to their existing portfolio that is going deeper and deeper into profit, allowing them to leverage existing BTC positions to add new BTC.

So I am not really sure whether Micro Strategy is primarily following a DCA strategy in order to better control for volatility exposure or whether their strategy simply is to keep buying no matter what in order to increase their market power.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be stolen? on: February 11, 2024, 12:42:37 PM
We all know that bitcoin was earlier stolen by James "Jimmy" Zhong
James Zhong is an American man who was convicted in 2022 for stealing over 51,680 bitcoin (then worth about $620,000; value as of 2023 approximately $3.4 billion) from the online black market Silk Road between 2012 and 2014.He was also involved in the early development of bitcoin,he found an error on Silk Road that allowed him to withdraw more funds than what was initially deposited. This was activated by repeatedly double clicking the withdraw button, and further abused by using multiple accounts on the website. Zhong managed to conceal his identity and elude detection for nearly 10 years. He lived a luxurious lifestyle, using tools such as cryptocurrency mixers to obscure the origin of the bitcoin he spent. In 2019, he made a mistake by transferring a small amount of stolen bitcoin to a cryptocurrency exchange that followed know-your-customer rules. The IRS's criminal investigation division then tracked him down.
Source link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Zhong#

It turns out that Bitcoin stealers target not only big companies but individual users with modest amounts in their crypto wallets.

Now bitcoin is one of the safest way to invest digital currency. Because of its new and improved security system it makes it hard for hackers and thief to access

So now the question is bitcoin safe from hackers?, can it be stolen?

The biggest problem about these kinds of topics is that they confuse security of the BTC network with security measures taken by the users of the BTC network.

Some people save their private keys on their computers without encrypting them. Some people save their private keys in the cloud. Some people have their wallets open without a set password and visit all kinds of malicious websites.

It's all up to the user and how technically literate and considerate they are when it comes to securing any of their assets. Hardly anyone would leave their car open while it is parked in front of their home. But lots of people use easy to crack passwords or no passwords at all because it feels comfortable.

There are so many easy mistakes that could be avoided to effectively protect your BTC against theft that it is careless to not address these issues. Often times they barely take any time either. A typical example is leaving BTC on an exchange, which then gets hacked and the media says it is a BTC problem instead of an exchange problem and their security standards.

Anything that is not secured against theft can obviously be stolen...
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin become extinct? on: February 11, 2024, 12:18:39 PM
What are the chances of bitcoin going extinct?

The probability for Bitcoin going extinct = 1 - p(BTC not going extinct).

Without going through this thread I expect that most of the answers will be something like "it is impossible to predict that" or "nobody knows". I think the truest of the answers would be to say that it is not zero and this has many reasons.

The possibility of Bitcoin becoming extinct, of course there are several factors such as the internet in the world being completely dead and that is the only cause of Bitcoin becoming extinct. The world is experiencing a third war that uses nuclear weapons where all the access we use today goes back to the stone age. But of course this doesn't happen all at once, there are stages that need to be gone through. Do we expect that to happen? Of course not and hopefully that never happens.

This is one aspect that is indeed true because when we think about events that could make BTC become extinct, there is a good chance that many other important things become extinct or are at threat. As soon as we have a technology that can derive private keys from public keys, the set of problems humanity would then be facing is much bigger than BTC going to zero.

The total market capitalization is a good indicator of the trust that people and institutions around the world put into BTC. The whole infrastructure that has been built and the investments that went into that infrastructure, the political endeavors in regards to ETFs and other investment products and many other things that are related to BTC are all positive signs that BTC won't suddenly disappear anytime soon.

But nobody knows whether the wheel will be around forever if there soon might be some other tool to move stuff from A to B, like vehicles based on magnetism and what not.

Since BTC is deflationary, there is a strong incentive for BTC network stakeholders to not jump ship. That's fundamentally different from FIAT currencies like the USD. BTC won't become inflationary where the USD already is. For the time being I think it is quite safe to assume that BTC will be around for quite a while Wink

You might think it would be a mistake to move there, but there are chance that he could succeed at Barcelona, they might be going through financial crisis and find it difficult to give him the necessary funds to attract top players or rising stars into the club, but Barcelona is a club with top talents all they need is a little addition and a good manager to bring out the best in them like Alonso did with Leverkusen players. Therefore if he could succeed at Leverkusen with average players, why can't he do same at Barca?

But the thing I have doubt about is if he'll be moving to Barcelona, I don't see that happening, especially now that Jurgen Kloop has made open his plans of resignation at the end of the tournament, that's a big opportunity for Alonso to coach one f his previous club and we all know how well good coaches admire moving to the EPL, I think Xabi won't waste time moving to Liverpool if they come calling.

It would never be a bad job if a coach decides to manage Barcelona, but if Xabi Alonso has the choice between several clubs and there would be Liverpool or at some point in the future Real Madrid, I think Barcelona would be less attractive. The biggest problem I see is that a lot of people are still remembering the Pep Guardiola times, but they forget that Guardiola was extremely privileged as he had the young Messi and all the other superstars in his team. Yes he had to do his job well and Barcelona became such an amazing team, but still Messi contributed a lot and there aren't a lot of Messis.

Barcelona isn't the same anymore, they have so many more problems to solve and they don't have a strong era of young high potential players. There are a few, but it can't be compared to what Guardiola had available back at the time. I doubt that Barcelona will be able to sign players like Haaland as they would decide to go to a different club.

The game ended in a 4:0 in favour of the home team Real Madrid. I believe every lover of good football will now understand that Real Madrid is a very big team, a team that can beat any team no matter the level of form or good performance they are and they proved once again to be the best and favourite to win the league by extending their gap against a Girona team that has been in a decent form this season, beating them comfortably and not allowing them to have a little chance to play with the ball shows how good the Rwal Madrid team has become.

Indeed it was a very good performance from the Real Madrid team as they left no stone unturned by winning convincingly and not allowing the Girona team to make no shots on target neither goal attempts that's amazing and the winning takes Real Madrid ahead in the league with 5 points this is a big chance for them to win the league this season.

Yes I think this was far superior and now Real Madrid won both games against Girona in La Liga and there is no doubt as to who the boss in the league is for now.

But I am negatively surprised because I thought that Girona would show a brave performance and that they would at least go all out and try to score a goal themselves. But this nothing of anything that they are known for. Girona had zero shots on target and two corners, which is quite disappointing for a team that is the strongest in the league offensively.

Since Real Madrid barely shows weaknesses this season, I think that this was an early decision in the race for the La Liga title. Girona did not win three out of their last five games whereas Real Madrid is consistently winning their games and only dropping last minute points against a top team like Atletico Madrid.
