Yeah looks like my wallet balance went to zero

Wow that would suck if Nicehash got hacked. I had all my hashing power pointing there as well.

I can't believe that Bitmain is waiting until March to release the next batch of L3+. I wonder if it's some kind of mistake. I was hoping to pick up a couple more with these coupons floating around. I guess since they don't have to kill any competition in the scrypt market like the X11 they don't have to flood the market or maybe they know something we don't know and they're loading up their own farms. 4 months is a really long lead time.

I use Bitcoin.Tax to assist with my tax reporting. It doesn't solve all problems and still requires work but I would recommend you see if it works for your situation. This tax year will be my fourth year using them.
I looked at them but I wanted to add a simple category like expense. Say you pay for hosted miners with BTC I would like to be able to just label that as an expense but I didn't see an option to and email for assistance went unanswered. Maybe it was just user error but other than that it looked good. I just went to a manual spreadsheet with the BTC price and amount received and track it manually.

Well I cashed some at 9900 I cashed some at 10,400
At this point I may cash everything.
Not much coin left to cash been cashing in every day since we got over 8000.
My stash of coins have been depleting as well as I've been cashing in a lot. Taxes are really going to hurt this year but what can you do. Also just want to remind people that if you use nicehash they only charge 2% if you mine to a nicehash address and then 0.0003 or 0.2% to withdraw it. You can see their fees here: https://www.nicehash.com/help/fees

Damn woke up and checked all the asics at the solar array and we are crashed.
Drove over no melt downs seems to be an internet issue.
so 4 avalons offline = 27th 1 new pangolian offline = 11th 3 s-9's offline = 40th
78th down since 2am about six hours.
I will be troubleshooting it.
you need a dual WAN router for two internet connections, have a fail over connection automatically. Yes some routers can even support tethering to a cell phone or some type of 4G device. That really sucks though Phil.

I love the description on the fans "3 violent fan 5000 turns 12CM". That's gotta be loud I'm guessing.

ELECTRONEUM Unrecognized address on Claymore miner. So what Claymore for if cannot use for ELECTRONEUM?
Need updates.
Thanks
It was most popular for Monero which uses the same algorithm, Cryptonight, as Electroneum.

While you're at it could you please also allow segwit addresses for nicehash?
Edit: Sorry just noticed that Claymore said all coins in his reply. Thank you!

I thought that was power for the fans initially, and a 4 pin cpu male is required from a pico psu.
And also it's weird design, why does a mobo need to be connected to itself with cables lol. Why can't some power from the bunch of 6 pins go directly to cpu via the mobo traces?
I got one of these boards on the way too. Should be here early next week. I will be powering it with a Delta 2400W. I figured I'd start by connecting all the 6 pin IN connectors to the Delta, then see if it will post with some crappy $25 GT 720 GPU I got laying around. If not, I'll check for 12V on the 4 pin OUT connector, and if I see it, make a cable to feed the 4 pin IN connector by the CPU. If it still won't post at this point, I'm not sure what the next step would be. Also, on all those 6 pin OUT connectors for the GPU's, is there a reason to use those instead of just feeding the GPU's directly from the Delta? If I was to run 1080Ti's with dual 8 pin connectors, I would definitely want to feed them directly from the PSU and not via Y cables from the mobo! I have asked the seller - what cable would this be and is it provided, seems to be a standard EPS type CPU 4pin MALE to MALE. I have 10 x Deltas ready for the 8-slot project, and will basically upgrade, consolidate each rig to 8 GPUs and get rid off all risers for 10 rigs in the old ETH farm. Worst case scenario, no choice but to jiggy-rig a cable to do this off the Delta. I think only 2 pins is required.... but would leave that to experts. I would like to buy some from you if manage to figure it out. Otherwise, hawkfish can help..... hawk are you there? I imagine that something like this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812706006 cable would allow you to just power to CPU with a cable from the Delta power supply directly.

My 3.4 bcc is now worth quite a lot
Earlier this year I had more than 18 BCC. I sold them for a reasonable amount at the time, but now? well... timing is everything. Like if I had held my over 7k LTC mined in 2012. The LTC I sold in 2016 and is funding my crypto forays today, including miners, and other alts. Yeah i sold my 4 BCC for $700 ish though I did well I sold .333 of 3.4 last night should of staged more sales it peaked at 0.385 btc a coin i now have sales in at .333 at .31 btc .333 at .35 btc .333 at .39 btc and I sold 1.00 bcc total for 0.24 btc I missed the biggest price. and 3 buys in at 1.00 for .1202btc 1.00 for .1020btc I sold my remaining 2.8 last night at .28 btc. Sadly I had over 10 bitcoin cash doing nothing since the split and of course last week I had the brilliant idea on Nov 7th to spend those coins buying S9 for Jan . delivery when bitcoin cash was around $630. Back then I was happy but now a mere 5 days later man I really overpaid for those S9!

The price jump is crazy! I can't believe how much Bitcoin Cash shot up. I have to think Bitmain is behind it only accepting bitcoin cash for their miners.

Be careful with Nicehash right now for D3. I love Nicehash, but they are almost $2.00 p/d below switching pools. I suspect people aren't renting hashing power on X11 as much, what, with the mass destruction and all....
Good point.. You always have to watch the payouts on any pool. M The old nicehash website used to have a page that showed what the 24 hour pay and current pay is for all the algos. I can't seem to find that page for the new website. Does anybody have a link for that by any chance? This one? https://www.nicehash.com/algorithmM Perfect. Thanks M. I don't know why I couldn't find it. I guess my eyes are getting old. Much appreciated.

Supposedly the BTG testnet is going to have a reset on Nov 8'th, so I don't think we'll see it go live for regular mining for at least a few days after that. Just keep an eye on these forums and Twitter etc...
So if they go live on November 8th, then that would be the amount of BTG we get from our current BTC balances or did that already happen and they are just mining BTG now themselves as part of the premine? no the snapshot block is what matters for your wallet Block #491406 2017-10-24 01:17:35 yes now they're just premining latest eta for mining is Nov 12 Disappointing money grab pre mining until the 12th. Most likely this will bomb hope I am wrong. We need a good coin launch for gpu mining.. BTW we may get a btc diff drop of 5-7% that would be around nov 9th. It would be nice to see it come. I am hoping to get 50th on line for btc very soon. Thanks for the info on the snapshot V8. I'm kicking myself for not getting S9's back when I had the chance. My SHA256 has dropped to around 28th.

Why are people using static ip when they have several machines? I got 9 machines and the internal ip address never changes from for example 10.0.0.44. What kind of issue can occur with dynamic like I'm using?
If you lose power to your location and the network, router, dhcp server and miners go down, then the next time they come up they will have different ip addresses and you will have to find them again. I like to use DHCP reservations.
