2001  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best signature campaign?? on: September 17, 2014, 05:48:23 PM
Now that Cloudbet and Primedice have stopped offering campaigns. I have a feeling that new ones will pop up at lower rates since there isn't any competition.
2002  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.eu - ANNOUNCING: POKER! on: September 17, 2014, 05:46:41 PM
Looking forward to the launch of poker and the 5 BTC freeroll on Saturday!

Haven't found any place I've been happy with poker via Bitcoin but I think that will change come tomorrow  Grin

This is cruel but there is no cure for this, there will always be people like this girl..  Undecided

At least try to be more proactive and meet people in the most public place possible if you plan to do a deal like this. But you are right that there will always exist people who don't value human life.

Has there been any mention of a fixed rate campaign yet from a third party?
2005  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Al-Qaeda Has Appealed To ISIS To Release British Hostage Alan Henning on: September 17, 2014, 05:28:56 PM
I don't understand what the IS is trying to achieve. The US is trying to avoid being sucked into a ground war but this might turn the public opinion on that. Why entice the most powerful army in the world? Are they that eager for those virgins in heaven?

They are trying to create an Islamic State based on their own fucked up reasoning. There is a power vacuum in the region after all these Arab Uprisings and dictators like Sadaam and Gadaffi being killed. They are taking full advantage.

Pretty much the USA released an even larger can of worms from the ones they destroyed
Taking down Gadaffi was a really bad idea in my opinion as he was issues aside the stabilizing force in that country I can see why they went for him and Saddam but sometimes you need to balance possible outcomes.
Without him things went down and now that power vacuum is creating a giant mess.

Rap news amusingly points this one out
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKRw8GAAtm27q4R3Q0kst_g

Many of the leaders in ISIS were officers from the Libyan military.  Gadaffi and Sadaam were crazy but they held things in order in their country. Simply killing them 'released a larger can of worms' like you said. Funny that rap news points that out but CNN won't mention it.

2009  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Vs. Paypal on: September 17, 2014, 05:06:55 PM
Your $ in Paypal is just information stored and guaranteed by Paypal; likewise, your BTC in Bitcoin is just information stored and guaranteed by the Bitcoin protocol.

Your funds are not guaranteed by PayPal. They can seize your funds at any time for an arbitrary reason.

2011  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: September 17, 2014, 05:02:20 PM
Also here is something that most people mistake about islam is that "Islam hates other religions" for this I say, Islam does not hate ANY religion

My religion is drawing cartoons of Religious figures having dirty nasty sex with pankakes, a buffalo and Paris Hilton. When I do so for Allah how many Muslims will call for my death? When I do so for <insert non-islam religion's important figures here> how many <insert non-islam religion's general name> will call for my death?

The answer for the second is "almost nobody"; for the first is "a lot".

IRL I don't draw cartoons of Religious figures having sex. In fact I don't draw at all. But I love the freedom to do so about any topic that I should choose. That's freedom. If some people can't respect my freedom then f'ck them.

https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/special-pleading

Not really accurate here. We're talking about things that actually happen. This wasn't me moving the goal posts. Musilms, even Muslims in Western Countries, believe that I should be killed for making fun of their religious figures. That ideal that I have to try to appease a particular group, or limit my freedom for a particular group or they will attempt to kill me is not an ideal that I take kindly too.

LOL WHAT???

If you said that to any person in the US, they would laugh you back to your mom's basement.
2012  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: September 17, 2014, 05:01:30 PM
That's not what Islam says. What kind of religion would condone violence?

If you follow that kind of logic, what would you consider the Crusades?

Did you ever read the Islamic books? So go read them before you say something like that.

Where in the Bible do you find the Crusades?! You are mistaken practice and doctrine. Christian practice may be violent, even if its doctrine ain't. Islam however is both, violent in doctrine and practice.

And to the note, many other religions condone and endorse violence. Islam is only the most reckless on doing it.

Islamic books as in plural? There is one. The Qur'an and yes I've read many passages.

Why would the bible have a passage about the Crusades? That doesn't make any sense.

Can you give examples of these passages that condone violence?

Same thing happened to a kid around here when the Xbox One came out. He met some dude off craigslist at a gas station and was shot and killed.

Doesn't make any sense
2015  Other / Politics & Society / Re: President Obama sending 3000 troops to fight Ebola on: September 17, 2014, 06:46:44 AM
As if he didn't introduce the virus in the first place.

What does that even mean? Obama distributed Ebola to Africa?

Do you honestly think that these research centers that keep virus' in cold storage don't have an ulterior agenda?

Wake. The. Fuck. Up.

LOL. WAKE UP SHEEPLE.

What would be the point of unleashing a deadly virus among a population in Africa? What ulterior agendas would the US administration have?
2016  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New faucets? on: September 17, 2014, 06:45:24 AM
The best faucets in my opinion are the ones included in dice sites like win88 and primedice,
try them but don't gamble your satoshis too much Tongue

Agreed. You won't really find something "worth" it on faucets. Best way is get some bits from Primedice and try to get lucky.  Grin

Lend them, you can earn an easy 10% every time you lend! that's very nice.

This is a great way to lose them.

Use some to buy real estate via Bitcoin and keep the rest in cold storage.
2019  Other / Off-topic / Re: Paypal. Is. Scared. on: September 17, 2014, 06:16:43 AM
They should be scared. They are a shitty company that steals and locks accounts for no reason. I haven't seen any attack ads personally but the one listed on that site is weak.

Hopefully Google Wallet and Apple Pay will take away their grasp on online payments and p2p transfers.
They lock accounts because they cannot be certain as to who "owns" certain money in the account due to their charge backs policies. I think this will ultimately lead to the demise of paypal because someone with a balance in their account does not truly know if they will be able to actually spend the money. It is like having a transaction be "unconfirmed" for months while having the possibility of a "double spend" against your account.

Great description.

They will also reverse transactions and put you into the red if they think there is ANY suspicious activity. The money in the accounts is not really yours and at any moment can be taken away from you under broad reasons of suspicion. Hopefully people realize these downfalls and stop using them altogether.
2020  Other / Off-topic / Re: Paypal is smart! on: September 17, 2014, 06:12:27 AM
Paypal is boosting that it is safer than apple. But paypal will be defeated by bitcoin in the future and will be force ebay to accept bitcoin.

You are spot on. Despite their great marketing efforts at the end of the day, if they had better ways to not limit accounts or all that paypal drama more people would stay for their services. Its why people praise venmo and other cool hipster apps.

Bitcoin just destroys all that, and will never change.

It allows small business to have no limits on sales.

Keep in mind that the new paypal rule to the irs is in sales volume or not $20,000 limit per year hits to the IRS automatically.

Isn't Venmo a PayPal company?

Agreed that PayPal drama causes many people to hate their services though. Have never had the same kind of troubles with PayPal as other p2p businesses.

Hoping Google Wallet/Apple Pay/Bitcoin destroy PayPal.
