Just to remind people, all that money we have taken from customers will have to be refunded in 11 days if Ken cannot send them their miners. Remember Ken did say they will get a refund.

This post is confirmation that drawingthefud is and always has been a troll.

I called it ages ago but my humanity gave him a second chance.

Ken said this!!!!!!!! Give me a second to find that actual post!
2002  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 10:31:23 PM
maybe it will take another month of near zero profits to change your minds.  This over the top worshipping of someone who is stealing your money has to stop eventually..

VE, everyone has been holding on and optimistic, putting up with Ken's silence because November was the month it all happened. But now that November is coming to a close and we will soon be refunding all customers money and once all the shareholders see us into December with 1TH/s, everyone is going to get pissed off.

We are meant to be constructing many 24TH/s to send out, even the testing of those machines would bring in several times our mining revenue of the past 2 weeks!

Also why wait to the end of November for an exchange? List us on Havelock as a temporary solution now! Ken is not busy he has nothing todo! eASIC has not delivered anything to Ken so he can't be busy!

I know I am being told to shut up and am being ignored. But you all have to agree, we are meant to have some respectable hashing capability right now, but we don't. I think its time Ken told us the truth.
2005  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 10:12:25 PM
drawingthesun has a valid point.. if a lot of ActM knew that Ken would only have 1TH/S hashing by late November, I bet they would have never invested.  Things are supposed to get rolling by now, but they're not.

And for this I get ignored. We were meant to be a big player sending out machines right now!
2006  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-11-18 FORBES: Meet The 'Assassination Market' Creator Who's Crowdfunding Mu on: November 18, 2013, 04:17:28 PM
I am intrigued how they determine the killer. I would imagine one of the marks gets killed and thousands of people will be online within minutes trying to claim the bounty.

Also good luck trying to clean those coins. They will investigate a million tainted people for life for such a kill*.

2007  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Destroying Bitcoin with magnet links? on: November 18, 2013, 04:09:16 PM
If that happens then the powers that be will consider the Bitcoin network a threat and try to stamp it out. First the bitcoin site would be blocked, then DMCA takedown notices and threats would go out to anybody that dares distribute a client or miner. ISP level filters may even be put in place to cull the plague.

Those media groups have money and they are used to attacking people unable to defend themselves. They will get a different reaction if they attack a multi-billion dollar distributed economy.

Ask yourself this: What will make the Bitcoin client eventually attain the title of "most looked-over", "most secure" and "most tested" piece of code/human machinery in the entire history of humanity?

Money.

Eventually Bitcoin will be running a hundred billion or trillion dollar empire. Please movie groups, attack us, and fall faster than you can ever imagine.

Ask yourself this: What benefit will there be to attacking the most distributed and secure piece of information ever created by our civilisation and running an economy that will soon dwarf most countries?

None.

You attack Bitcoin because of bad stuff in the blockchain, you die. Its actually that simple. There is no path in which they have success.
2008  Economy / Securities / Re: Lorenzo Money Speaks on: November 18, 2013, 03:51:17 PM
it just has to be a rabbit long enough for me to sell at .001

Seriously, if you want to sell at 0.001 many people right now would be willing to buy them off you. No need to wait.

I buy Modafinil with Bitcoin...

Why doesn't Ken point all the prototypes towards our TEAM AMC?

2011  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 05:04:38 AM
Just of note...we already ARE set up on cryptostocks. I understand that it may not be the best long-term solution (transfer all in, only to likely have to transfer them all out upon inevitable shutdown/coloured coin solution)....but I do agree that there needs to be a push for trading to be viable SOMEWHERE.
this.  he already has things setup on cryptostocks so it would most likely be the quickest solution with the least amount of work.

I have already asked Ken to move my shares onto cryptostocks for the short term and he said no.
2012  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 04:49:53 AM
Sorry for being negative everyone. I just keep seeing the Bitcoin price rise and have major freak outs.

Smiley

I will try to be more positive. I just really want to see some TH/s online.

My preference is for Ken to actually get us listed on an exchange again. Colored Coins sounds nice, but months off (or longer) from being a reality.

While it is a pain moving from exchange to exchange, it really needs to be done for shareholders. Some want to buy, some want to sell. I don't want Ken spending his time trying to facilitate exchanges. Just spend the time, get us on an exchange, and let them do it all.

Havelock seem in the best position.

I agree, I know Ken wants a long term option but we need to be able to trade our shares. I vote Havelock too, take the setup fee from the mining address.

The next 6 weeks will be make or break for this company and we must be allowed to trade. If Ken does not have us on an exchange this week then the only option is to start direct share trading. Now I am sure setting us up on Havelock for 2 months is a far better option than Ken having to update his database/excel 100 times a day.

We cannot be barred from trading, we need an option right now even if its only for a month or two.

Yes obviously that is the only possible explanation. Could you please stop dragging over your Labcoin sorrow into this thread?

I got out of Labcoin with a decent profit a long time ago. I promise you I have no Labcoin sorrow.

Then why are you so... whiny and negative about everything? Grow a pair and relax.

I put those profits and more into ActiveMining...

I will try to relax. Smiley

If the company is not doing so well, then tell us. We have our god damn big boy pants on. All the people here want to know about the mining and the equipment and the expected growth for the rest of the year.

I have a feeling something went wrong with the chips, perhaps the supplied design is less efficient or does not hash at the right rate. Ken said earlier that mining from "other" sources would supply us up to 3TH/s and that expected time period is around about now.

I am 100% sure we are hashing under 1 TH/s at the current time. We all thought these "other" sources was the prototype miner, but Ken never pointed it at the same user account on btcguild meaning its unstable and prone to shutting down.

Anyway that is what I think might be going on but I am trying to be positive. Its just hard because there is not much to be positive about at the moment. The thing that made me smile was the potential TH/s but nothing seems to be moving.

I am going for a walk.

2017  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 03:11:10 AM
I am guessing by the lack of urgency in Ken's posts towards getting us trading again that we will not have much of a reason to trade in that time.

So no decent mining rate for the whole of November? If that is the case we can certainly say something has gone wrong. Even die hard fans must now admit that something went bad because this is way beyond any schedule.

My fear is that we will have less than 10TH/s when Bitcoin passes $1,000 making any chance of getting our Bitcoin back impossible.

I WILL do it, but I need a support system here.. you guys are messy and spread out, with no group mentality.  Get behind me and help me make this happen.

Virtualspade started to work on this:

Maybe work with him?!

VolanicEruptor can only lead, to follow is to admit you're a lesser family man.
2019  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 01:43:34 AM
You hope that he is successful?

I hadn't thought of that.

Well all we can do is hope right? We have no evidence that we will ever get hundreds of TH/s and we can't even trade the shares for at least 2 weeks.

Hope is most certainly the operative word.
2020  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 12:36:04 AM
Yes, it does not sound good for the UK exchange.

It looks like we can start testing Colored Coins in next few weeks.

What options do we have to trade shares in the next few weeks? Are we allowed to do direct share transfers on the forum?
