Hey everyone, thank you for the invite Smiley I might play this but let me decide in a few days, it's not that I don't want to just not sure of what to even do with the lack of knowledge of my F1 lol

So many familiar users, is there anyone playing here not on other pools?
2022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 25, 2023, 10:26:06 PM
I got up at this not normal hour because of my next door neighbor, all this while had no idea he was Liverpool but he was grumbling like hell, I thought they lost but it just turns out it was a draw with no goals.

arallmuus wow 2-1 exact and all that is nice but 0-0 and being the only one in 50 is actually something to be proud of...
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 25, 2023, 12:03:11 PM
Not going well at all. I thought my luck was improving when I finally got freebets from 2 insurance that failed on the last game what else but Barca Sad

Then I used it up and it failed on the first game Fulham lol and they could have lost too.

That's how the thing goes, that's why it's often best to try as much as possible to maintain a specific momentum, even if it's not at the highest level or pace, it's rather better to not try to chase not so feasible result every week just trying to chase the every gap between participant, I'm still never paying much attention to the leaderboard, but when we get about weeks left I'll check what's left to play for and what not, until then it's just guts, logic or pure statistical, perhaps a combination of the 3 to make a decision for me.

Yes, the best way is to participate in many pools at once and then you will not have time to track minor changes in positions within them  Cheesy
By the way, at the end of the championship, it seems to me that the randomness of the results will increase (not in the pool, but in club games) - many teams will either have already solved their problems, or have completely failed, and therefore they will not have the motivation to play at full strength.

I have been slowly making good points too but the positions are too close to each other to really feel confident about anything. I also don't look at position but of course you can't help check when entering picks.

From 1 to 10, 15 points, then from 10 to 26, only 10 points. That's just how good this pool is.
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: February 25, 2023, 10:06:59 AM
I will comment on the pairings according to the draw;
First of all, I would like to say that they are good matches. It is obvious that the job of our two representatives is not easy. I expect that both Sivasspor and Başakşehir will be the side that will skip the round. Sivasspor may have a little more difficulty in the round. When we compare Fiorentina and gent, fiorentina has more weight.

Well good luck to your turkish teams, I think they have a good chance and it is about time we get to see someone outside of the normal clubs get to the final, I would love to see one of these two teams in the end!

Fiorentina along with West Ham seem like the biggest names in there, but we should not forget that Basel not so long ago was playing in Champions League alongside great teams Smiley

Long time no check in, I see you guys have finally put out the sports betting, so I might come back to check it out at some point, always looking for good odds and promos as everyone in sportsbetting does Wink

Champions League is always a good tournament to promote but don't forget Europa and Conference too!!
That is long of ton being absent from this thread and the blackjack community because it's almost getting to 6-8 months since blackjack fun launched the sportbook section.

And you can bet that blackjack has also made other improvements in various areas not only the sportsbook alone recently the site was updated and I believe that will come with some new features.

6 months?? Has it really been that long? I feel like it wasn't too long ago when they did a new version, but I don't recall the sportsbook out.

I was actually commenting because of the post I saw on the same day from sujonali about sportsbetting finally been live (but I guess it just meant it's finally live AGAIN?

Saint-loup and Maus0728 how have your investment performed so far? I haven't invested in a site since I stopped at Bitvest a couple of years ago but it does seem like something I would do again.

I only remember my experience here wasn't so smooth before, communication wise anyway. Has that improved?

That is not the lowest price ever recorded. Wasn't the lowest price the first tx satoshi ever sent? (Free?)

But seriously, nice to know that someone at some point thought Bitcoin's value was way over the top and too easy to mine that it didnt deserve the price it was supposedly sold.

Lowest P2P sell ever recorded, that's a new piece of history I didn't know about Smiley
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: February 24, 2023, 12:24:50 PM
How realistic are your examples now talking about sending him to Jablonec? What is that that you are trying to convey? Why not amputate a leg and then see how he is doing?

Salzburg is a great example, that makes more sense then the stuff you are bringing up here. Let's see, but only the Champions League because otherwise you woudl say that Austrian soccer is too weak and Salzburg too strong:

Haaland just turned 19 and scored a hattrick, three goals in the first half, in his first game in the Champions League against Genk. Genk? They are weak, ok no big deal.

Next game against Liverpool at Anfield, he scored again one goal. Against Napoli he added two more goals. "His six goals were also the most scored by any player in their first three Champions League matches."

Next game against Napoli? Scored again one goal.

A couple of days later against Wolfsberger AC? His fifth hattrick of the season on November 10th!!

With all due respect, but I doubt that Salzburg belongs to the best feeding teams out there.

With your last sentence I agree fully, when you break records or set them yourself, at some point you are going to "decline" Wink That is true!

Now we are all patiently waiting for Manchester United against Barcelona. This is quite the highlight given that this is not the Champions League Smiley

Again you have completely ignored the whole string of original comments, and now threaten that I want to derail it by talking about amputating legs. Man.

Salzburg, literally, has been called a feeder team (in a different context of course but Google it lol). Still, I would argue they are good enough to feed a striker like Haaland. They supply all the talents for Leipzig and beyond and yes, they are a good club. They literally groom talent and for someone like Haaland to succeed they have to literally set systems for him.

Anyway, enough about going about in circles. You call me out, at least call out properly. You said ANY club would feed him, so why are you surprised by my examples? Then don't say ANY club. Would Nottingham Forest be better if they could afford him instead of buying 30 players?  And stop quoting entire posts it's frowned on Tongue

Barca out, so my mood is down and less interested anyway, but what are your thoughts on the ones left? Can United win Europa? Did you win any actual bets? I have not shared a good win in a while.

If it's like that, it's the same as giving false hope to all those holding tickets, no matter how much they have, has it ever occurred to do the drawing directly, I mean broadcast live so that all can witness and of course there will be a lot of hope that the tickets they get have, have the opportunity to get their ticket out as a lottery winner, it will certainly appear transparent that the draw is indeed random but that will make everyone sure that this draw at Freebitco is true and honest, so that there are no skewed thoughts towards the draw at Freebitcoin.

Yeah maybe you should take the time to understand things first before you comment. Broadcasting live with witnesses can be much less fairer than current systems which are provably fair.

Do you even participate at this site and lottery or are you just making comments for the sake of it?

Transparency is so misunderstood these days.
2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: February 24, 2023, 09:11:13 AM
@Joca97 it seems there are some teams who after winning a league, just used up all of their energy for that single purpose and then fall apart after that. Not just Trabzonspor, if you look at past 5 years we had the same in England (Liverpool) Spain (Atletico) France (Lille) and Italy (Inter).

Right after winning, they all did so badly in the followup season and until now you can't see them do anything.

Hope you did not take the Lazio/Cluj bet @buwaytress they did just exactly what Italian teams are supposed to do lol

2030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that this AI is good for trading? on: February 24, 2023, 07:38:53 AM
AI can only give you results according to rules. So it can make recommendations only as good as you can, it still has to follow rules and conditions set by the programmer.

AI trading has been around for 10 years or more. I remember all kinds of forex ai programs.

Now people think crowd wisdom.

None of it works. Use your logic. If AI could even work for 1 satoshi per trade, why would anyone even tell people or sell it? I would make a zillion trades a day.

Your discussion is a nice read but I don't understand why you say that Haaland would "decline" if you send him to a club that doesn't feed him. First of all, any club would feed him because he simply is the best on the field and the best to finish. Every club would feed him to the best of their abilities because it is the smartest thing to do. Additionally, check out his scores at RedBull Salzburg, at Borussia Dortmund, and now at Manchester City in a brutally strong league. He is breaking records in the EPL like nobody else ever did before. Haaland is probably going to pulverize Shearer's and Cole's record of 34 goals in a season unless he gets injured.

I know a lot of people talk about how players get fed and there is some truth to that, but thinking rationally about it makes me conclude that I would also feed the best player on the pitch if the situation allows it. The best aren't the best because the get fed, but they get fed because they are the best.

I will admit though that there are some players who aren't really the best but are still able to score more in a good team than in a bad team. No doubt that that is also happening. But whether you are outstanding or not is also an important question because you might have players around you that prefer to score themselves if they have the ability to do so.

Lewandowski also left out some chances so far for Barcelona that he didn't leave out during the excellent years he had in Bayern. But he is still scoring very well this season. As you said if you scored that many goals at some point you can only "decline". It is like Ronaldo and Messi when they scored 48 and 50 goals, respectively. Your next season can only get worse Tongue

Dude, I literally made a specific difference that I commented on "decline" regarding goals, not decline in general.

"Any club would feed him" is ignorant of the fact that you need good feeders. He had a great midfield at Dortmund and the best feeder in the world in City (Kevin de Bruyne) and even then, like now if teams discover how to keep the feeders quiet like you can see in past few games, then the goals do not come.

You want an example check out Ronaldo at Al Nassr. Or even at United when the feeders had bad form.

Send Haaland to let us say Jablonec or Lincoln Red Imps (this is Europa not even Conference) and see how well clubs can feed him.

But definitely, we talk about "decline" in different context. Goals can only decline after breaking records Smiley

Only 6 people got 2/2 so far last night.

Too bad none of them actually make it to 3/3 after the CL games and most of us ended up choosing over 3-4 goals as well as 5+ goals being conceded. I guess most of us are expecting alot from Manchester City to atleast score 3 goals today. Yikes, I cant even imagine that City ended up getting a draw against Leipzig

Yes a few people did pick the right one, well done to them. If only Lukaku could score one more I would get a point, but then again so is my competitor buwaytress with the same answer, so this match was not important to me anyway.

City draw, I think a lot of people actually thought that was possible including the bookies. I remember odds for a draw was just slightly above odds for a City win Smiley

By the way, the daily odds boosting feature is extremely cool. I compared the odds once with other providers and you don't get such odds anywhere. Pretty sweet! Thumbs up!

Looks like something you discovered recently, congratulations on finding best prices anywhere on sports Wink

Hot tip for you, if you are able to be online during big competitions like football or tennis and highlight matches are happening, there is even special Super Boost which is 2x or 3x the boost you normally get (I believe price boost is around 5% but superboost is over 10%).

Another hot tip is to check specials page before especially the partner games or highlight matches, extra odds boost on unique bets Wink
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: February 22, 2023, 11:57:28 AM
They need to win this game to let all the pressure mount on Real Madrid for the return leg and this win tonight would also serve well to keep the momentum they already have and to give an even further boost to the moral of the players.

The bookies though think differently, they clearly have Real as the favorite in the game of tonight with an 2 odd,I think maybe they are correct in the logic for the odds but for me as a fan of Liverpool I think this game will end with a Liverpool narrow win and as such for me the bookies are wrong  Grin.

And now the bookies swing the other way round, Liverpool 3.4 to win, great odds? Calamity keepers on both sides, but also a bit of bad luck for goals, and needless fouls from Gomez, it's a terrible humiliation for the Reds unfortunately.

I only care about Napoli though Smiley

Napoli has only lost three games in their last 20 appearances in Europe's top competition, and they hope to reach the quarterfinals for the first time. Despite being in good form and considered a favorite, Napoli has only won once in their previous nine matches in Germany, drawing three times and losing five. As a result, if Napoli wins this game, it will be a historic moment for the team, as they have previously struggled to win in Germany. so I expect a comfortable win for the Italians, with plenty of goals. Wink

I was hoping that their performance in Champions League thus far will carry them on and this has proven to be the case. I don't want to talk about hype but just judging on their scores this season in Europe, they are the best team there, capable of beating Real Madrid, Bayern, even Manchester City. Just because of the way they play, great speedy counters, fine finishing and still quite a good defence.

History is made!
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: February 22, 2023, 11:09:46 AM
Can someone tell Rashford to please take a break so my team can win tonight??

It matters. U can't tell. as a professional,  I know when things are really not working well and when things are in order. Lewandowsky is having decline in his scoring rate and pretty sure he knows about it. Barcelona isn't feeding him as much has it was in Bayern. If paredventure Lewandowsky moves to Clubs like Manchester city, u will really understand the differences.

I didn't know you're a professional, what is your job and why haven't I seen you in any of the paid pools (sorry if you are in, I can't recall ever seeing your name).

Not sure what you mean by paredventure but I sort of get you. Same with Haaland. Move him to a club that doesn't feed him and he'll also "decline"

I think "decline in scoring" is an unfair judgement of how he has been. First of all, even the fact that he gets so many defenders on him from his sheer talent is enough for others to have open shots, because this literally happens every 30 minutes each game, someone gets a good chance wide open against goalkeeper, because defenders were all on Lewandowski, which is a great contribution without showing up on stats.

Secondly, he is on a new team, compared to the team he played 150 years for (lol) of course he will have some hard time adjusting to the new system, but he is doing a bang up job at la liga, and I am sure next season he will be even better, back to his old numbers maybe.

I think it's fair. I like him and I'm Barca, and his scoring rate has declined. That's a fact. But it is a dumb fact, because he has scored 20 goals this season already (okay 18 for Barca 2 for World Cup). When you hit crazy highs, you kinda have to decline. Like Bitcoin ATH and price declines Wink

However, It would be unfair to say he is a player in decline, for the reasons you say.

Only 6 people got 2/2 so far last night. I saw that many of us went for Real Madrid pick, but not many of us chose to go for over 2.5 goals. All recent games between these 2 weren't like yesterday at all.

And of course Napoli, I thought that was the easiest answer of all the quiz so far even though the match reports seem to say it was not easy at all.

Come on Barca!!
2039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Round of 16 on: February 22, 2023, 07:55:39 AM
My sincere condolences to Liverpool.

Their guys got ahead so fast, and then conceded so fast.

I couldn't watch the game so maybe my comments are only based on reports but I read that when it was 3-2 Klopp decided to go all out attack instead and then lost 5-2. I guess Real just isn't the team of Liverpool.
2040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: February 21, 2023, 01:46:05 PM
I don't trust Liverpool yet, and Real Madrid is the king of UCL, despite my hatred of them, you can't deny they just know how to win games even away. So I think the worst is a draw, don't be surprised if this ends 0-0. At least that's my prediction in the quiz, I wouldn't dare to put too much money on this game.

If Liverpool win, still the 2nd leg is Real's I think.

That's true, the second leg will be at Real Madrid's home stadium, so they will have the advantage. However, Liverpool have been playing very well lately and have a lot of momentum going into this match. If they can keep up their form, they could very well come away with a win. It's hard to predict, but it should be an exciting match either way.

I hope I'm wrong of course, who wants 0-0 in any game, especially this stage between two giants who made two recent finals!

Apparently Jurgen Klopp watched their last match for the first time to prepare for the match and he said it was such a torture. Not sure why he did that because it's a completely different scenario now, but anyway, Vinicius I believe will be key again, rather than Benzema. Trent and Virgil have a lot of work to do!

I only care about Napoli though Smiley
