2041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine potentiality of any Altcoins? on: June 03, 2019, 11:26:05 AM
In determining the potentiality of an altcoins we must know ofcourse on how it is being runned or managed by team. So in this case, we are about to get inform about tje said alts. Because nowadays as the cryptomarket grows scam alt are also fast growing. So to determine a potential alts join only in an alts which you can get benefited by it like the Pimoncoin.
What really makes cryptocurrency different from every other currency is not only for its digital payment alone but because of its anonymity nature, so any project that is really working with the blockchain technology should have an anonymous coin which was part of why Bitcoin was even created in the first instance.

But for me, when I talk of anonymity, the one I am not comfortable with is that of the team members, I don’t see reason why the team members should be anonymous when raising funds, and any project that is not transparent enough with their team identity, I do not participate in them no matter the picture they put on their whitepaper.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 02, 2019, 07:38:36 AM
Raptors managed to show the world two things for sure. First of all warriors are no longer "definitely going to win again" team without Durant, if warriors lose Durant then it means their reign might be over very soon, this off season if Durant leaves then there is a 90%+ chance another team becomes champions next year.

On the other hand raptors showed that Draymond is no longer that defender everyone remembers him to be, he is still alright but Siakam literally destroyed him, if Draymond faces a team with no good PF then he can help his team out which makes him a good defender because he helps everyone out but if he is facing with a good PF then he is unable to even guard his own man. So, without Durant and a bad Draymond all warriors will have left is curry and klay and I doubt that will be enough. I don't care who wins the ring this year, the decision Durant will have is the biggest deal in a long time.
2043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOES IEO PROTECT BOUNTY HUNTERS ? on: May 31, 2019, 11:52:45 AM
protect from what ? Ieo does not protect anything but they will only protect their own business from scammers and hackers . They also protect their business from the authorities in which they will get certification and approvement from the local government so that this will make thier business more legal .

Speaking of protect , bounty hunters dont get any protection from someone else but bounty hunters should only protect them selves from those fraud and scam projects
You are wrong if you talk about binance IEO but for other smaller exchanges IEO, you may be a bit correct. Binance has none of those bad intentions you listed here and yes they are capable of protecting hunters in the sense that they will never register a project that doesn’t have integrity because those ICO that doesn’t not pay hunters after campaign lacks integrity, but since an exchange would have certified whatever project they are promoting, if such company had conducted bounty campaign before like harmony, then it is obvious that they will pay their hunters.
2044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GlobalCoin by Facebook - speculation. on: May 31, 2019, 11:12:57 AM
A new cryptocurrency is coming in 2020 by Facebook. Zuckerberg will try to partner with the governments and make it a bridge between his products like WhatsApp and Facebook.

Where could it be heading to?
Another ripple in the making, probably government must have even directly contacted him to create such coin since he has the largest user database when it comes to social media to be able to have control over the cryptocurrency, if not, what would make them suddenly revert their policy after they have locked out most bounty campaigns from their site.

People are still complaining of binance of monopolizing the crypto currency industry, they should wait and watch, these are the real players that will do that and I hope that they don’t end up changing satoshi’sintention for creating crypto with these partnership they have with government.
2045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crashing' Bitcoin Predictions on: May 30, 2019, 05:54:49 PM
I believe the crashing predictions are just there so there is an healthy amount of suspicion of this increase. You can't just expect EVERYONE to think bitcoin to go up, some people will eventually think it will go down, the higher we go the more people will start talking about how its close to getting down eventually. The price is at a decent level right now, it may go up or it may go down and we will never know.

However, if price were to increase to 20 thousand dollars in June then there would be much more people thinking bitcoin will
eventually go down, you can't expect bitcoin to only go up, that is insane, it will eventually go down for sure. The question is, will it go down now or will it go down after it hits x dollars, it may continue to go up more, it may continue to break the all time high price but that doesn't mean one day eventually it will go down.
2046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What caused this round of callbacks? on: May 30, 2019, 12:50:21 PM
Suddenly, the market has risen again today. What do you think, what caused this callback? In addition to the mainstream BTC, ETH, what other currencies do you hold?
I guess you mean what is cursing the rebound or the surge again, well, we expected it, the market has been sable on $8000 for too long and some big investors have probably been holding on to see if the market will dump from that value based on the speculation of some analyst that there will be a very big corrections, which is why bitcoin might has failed most of the time it tried braking more barriers.

Now that they have gotten a clear signal that the market is not going to dump again, the biggest investor may have taken the move to first invest his own capital which I expect many other investors to also follow from here, so this increase may continue as it is till $11500.
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best IEOs and IEO bounties on: May 30, 2019, 12:19:11 PM
If the project is going to hold an IEO, it actually do not need to hold a Bounty campaign - Exchange is doing marketing for it's own. But I you do find a project holding IEO and Bounty at the same time, it is a good option to earn tradeble tokens.
This has always been my view too until someone really confirmed that we have IEO bounties which he has even listed and I also see in another forum where the user also gave link to it, so in other to confirm if it’s true, I traced the project to IEO and I really confirmed that it was indeed an IEO project.

This makes me wonder why they still carry out IEO when the marketing tools the exchanges has put in place  to  promote their projects works wonder. Probably they are beginning to know too that a time will come that the hype of IEO will die down and no longer be enough to push for hard cap that easy again.
2048  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: May 24, 2019, 11:23:29 AM
I'm a bounty hunter so I use my rewards from the ICO campaign that I've promoting to trade it to coins that I want to be included in my portfolios, but if there are some good coin that doesn't have a bounty campaign, I used my own savings to buy that coin.
I used to depend on my earning in cryptoworld and reinvest it every time the market is cheap which is good because I'm not spending my personal money. In the time that I needed to put money because bitcoin is cheap than ever, then I probably use all my savings just to buy bitcoin because I know i can gain more profit on that move.
For newbies, I think they have no choice now than to look for personal fund from their traditional bank savings to invest in quality projects if they really want to partake in cryptocurrency investment because it will be very difficult for them to get any campaign that will give them money for investment again.

For already existing investors, I think they just need to be using the profit they get from their already existing projects to be doing turn over as they also cannot get much bounty reward that will be enough for them to be able to make any major investment or trade.
2049  Economy / Economics / Re: Problems In Chinas Economy & Escalating Trade War Will Cause Large Bitcoin Rally on: May 24, 2019, 10:39:03 AM

Jason talks about how China's economy getting worse plus the US vs China trade war escalating means that many CCP elites in China and rich Chinese businessmen are getting around capital controls and getting their savings out via Bitcoin.

Well whatever economy challengethey are having or any trade between them that makes them see bitcoin has solution or way out of some of the circumstance will surely favor bitcoin in a big way, but for now, I don’t really see people of china, especially the influential ones use bitcoin as solution to any of their problems yet.

They still have some doubts about the system and until the air is cleared about it and bitcoin is generally supported in china before they can even consider it as an option, but if it’s to move money without them being traced, I am sure some of the elite may think of bitcoin.
2050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never buy too much coins because you would eventually forgot gosh on: May 22, 2019, 09:21:34 AM
So, as you guys know, most coins will do swap when they perform blockchain upgrades or changing the coins to to a new coin

I just forgot about one of my coins and the swap was ended in the 31st of December
and guess what?

I just lost 0.3 btc because of it
God damn this is so painful

Been holding the coins since 2 year ago in the ICO stage
Never make such mistake guys remember
Teams of token thats gonna be swapped always makes an announcement on when and how is the process of token swap will happen,it is your fault for not checking it.Holding coin doesntmean buy it store and forget it,you need to still check news from time to time to avoid this
Except you are a full time crypto traders or crypto business person that you will have time to be checking news about all your tokens from time to time. Just like me, I have so many tokens that I don’t even have update on them for the past 8 months, I don’t even know if they have been delisted or not because my intention of keeping them is for future.

How will it be possible for me to be checking over 200 coins that I have from time to time with other heavy jobs that I am doing, I found out that only the popular ones is what I have been checking on most, which is why op advise us to just limit ones investment to few top coins rather than having a handful of coins you will eventually forget about.
2051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's Your Top Altcoin List? on: May 22, 2019, 08:08:08 AM
For me, my top altcoin in the market lists is only ethereum coin ETH. Because of its good potential and also a good to invest and good for long term investment such that it can invrease its price and in the long run you would earn profit from it. As we can see now its price pumping in the market.
Yea, ethereum is a good coin and I also have faith in the future development of ethereum, but for now, I would rather focus on bitcoin because most of the pump these altcoins are getting now are still because of bitcoin pump and not because of the adoption or usage of their product, that is why majority of them also reduces when bitcoin drops in value too.

Until we are near the altcoins season before I can invest in projects like ethereum and some of the top altcoins in the coinmarket because prior to that time, I am sure majority of them will still dump first.
2052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Can $50 Million From Banks Add To The Crypto Industry? on: May 22, 2019, 07:32:39 AM
Time to time, we big financial players diving into the cryptocurrency industry, now big banks around the world want to invest $50 Million into cryptocurrency. According to this news... https://www.cryptoinformers.info/news/143-banks-set-to-invest-50-million-in-digital-cash-settlement-project

What do you think $50 million will add to this multi-billion industry?
$50 Million is not a great deal of money. I have seen many ICO's that have raised much more than that. What is however significant is that the banks are creating their own blockchain to handle settlement rather than using an existing block chain like XRP that we have been told for a long time is the coin that all the banks will be adopting. It would seem that rather than pay for someone else's overpriced coins the banks would rather mint their own.
It is true that the money is quite small, but we are using the total market capitalization to judge its effect, yea, it won’t cause any FOMO value in the total marketcap, but if they look for some small market capitalization projects to invest in, it will be a major breakthrough for such coin.

Imagine a particular coin with a market cap of $10 million, and someone coming to suddenly add $50million dollar to it at once, don’t you think the small cap coin will get a big boost? It will, and from there, FOMO might help do the rest of such project. But like you said, banks will only crate their own coin which will be more of stable coin and may not have any significant effect on the market.
2053  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to deal with greed whilst trading? on: May 22, 2019, 06:56:25 AM
There is almost no one that is not tempted into making rash decisions while trading and I think the resistance to this emotion all boils down to discipline which I cannot say I have in abundance. I know the problem, but the solution still eludes me too.  Undecided
It is not only you that sometimes do not have much control over this, even those that are advising against it are the most greedy ones when it comes to trading, how many of them would see opportunity to take big profit and not risk it, sometimes when we risk it works and sometimes it fails.

One of the reasons why many people are also greedy is because they lack the capital that will attract big profit even with a small push. I can be greedy sometimes too when I think of how big my expenses are, I think the best way to just control greed is to completely stay pout of short term trade and be a holdler.
2054  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin – Now at DECISION POINT!! :O on: May 22, 2019, 05:52:44 AM
Seriously we are going uptrend again and that will be the target hit right? Next level target will be $10000.
The $8000 previously attained before the correction has been retested and I just hope that we will be able to sustain this new uptrend till we get to see the $8500 because I am sure that we will be a little bit slow in breaking the $9k barrier and that is why I feel we might not get an increase to $10k until probably month of June.

I know bitcoin has been a little bit faster than its shadow for the past 2 months now, but this time around after studying the way the market really fought hard to break $8k and couldn’t sustain that level till it dropped to $7k, Going back to $8 now is not an assurance yet that it will gather momentum to quickly break $9k soon.
That's it and I'm really hoping that it reaches $8.4k cause that's the next resistance level. If it gets to that we can then hope for the next which will be $8.9k I guess. The month of May is already coming to the end so that's not going to happen this May. And this shows how unreliable these analysts /experts are.

I don't know why they are fond of giving predictions that are so wrong and still claiming that it is right and is going to happen when they know that they can't even predict anything. Some people are really funny like seriously. Let's wait till June cause I really hope that it doesn't crash again.
2055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: May 21, 2019, 12:31:10 PM
Actually not just in gambling site but when you put your bits into online platform also can be hack, right ?
We already aware that crypto is risky type of investment so when you decide to be the gambler, the risk become greater so you need extra careful on how you manage your next step !
Yes been extra careful is very important in gambling, especially because of the consistent origination of new casino sites with the intention of scamming gamblers and this is to all online sites but it doesn’t meant that Crypto is risky like you mentioned.

Cryptocurrency on the other hand is actually the safest investment you can think of if we take sentiment apart and if all crypto gamblers can be honest enough they would attest to the fact that crypto gambling is far safer and more convenient than any other gambling type you can think of.

The OP has taken out his time to list out some step to follow to avoid been scammed and I will add by saying that if we can just to be less greedy in gambling, then we would avoid so many of these mistakes.
2056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: May 21, 2019, 11:59:37 AM
The purpose and objective of KYC is to prevent fraud, money laundering and to imply the security measures which is necessary for both users and the gambling site. It will benefit us though it sometimes causes us hassle. It's important for the monitoring of legit transactions as well.

I couldn't agree more, It's good that the gambling site is doing that because it only means they wanted to protect the gamblers as well from fraud. KYC is very important because it can make the gambler and the owner to feel at ease knowing that all people using the website has been fully verified. It might be bothersome to fill out but just look at the bright side of it of being secure.
I beg to disagree with these points. KYC regulations to prevent money laundering have no way it secures gamblers. It’s just a policy the government feels it’s necessary to prevent the activities of those who launder money and other fraudulent activities and I personally feel it has nothing to do with gamblers. Have you ever wondered how this protects the interest of a gambler? And do you think this is safe for a gambler? Off course NO

As a gambler, I love it when I play without my information been disclosed, I always loved gambling when I was much younger but because I hated staying in the gathering of people to play games, I avoided casino centers but I was so glad when I discovered online gambling, where I have t do it privately without having to tell anyone about myself. KYC is not of any use in gambling.
Very good point indeed. I like the angle to which you came in, yes KYC is for a reason but the good reason is definitely not in favor of the player. So of what benefit is it for a player to risk his personal information to a site that there is no guarantee that it will not be hacked. Or how can a gambler be so sure that there is no other reason for this requirement aside the one they have made us to understand.

Truth be told, KYC implementation might be very useful in other platforms but I do not see the necessity of having it on a gambling site. I will never fill the form on any site, rather I would look out for other gambling sites that will give me freedom to play games without intruding on my privacy.
2057  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I extract cash from exchanges without going through a bank? on: May 21, 2019, 11:23:51 AM
I bought crypto coins during the winter of 2018-2019 when prices were bottomed out.  So when the next big price surge tops out, I'll have some nice PROFITS.  I've got accounts on several exchanges, like Coinbase, Gemini, and others.  All seem to be reputable with the FDIC banks, and I'm confident I can withdraw my cash from exchanges to banks and then get cash from the banks.

BUT -- I don't think I want the banks knowing all my business, and I certainly don't want to pay too much in taxes.  Some ok, but not everything.

So what are my options for transferring numbers in my exchange account to cash in my hand, nice and anonymous and tax-free like?  I've heard of gift cards being charged up with exchange funds and withdrawn from ATMs.

Any details to share?
This is the easiest thing you are looking for, that is why we have local exchanges that would do that for you, especially the ones that are directly operating in your country over the counter, where you can walk to and make your order.

If you use the online local exchanges, bank may still trace their deposit because whatever accounts those ones will use to transfer will be the one opened for cryptocurrency which may definitely have element of cryptocurrency in their registration. Over the counter, you can just request for cash which I am sure they will attend to such request.
2058  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you earn from the lastest bull run of BTC 3k4-8k3?? on: May 21, 2019, 10:35:18 AM
Not much since I didn't have enough money to keep my crypto .
I need to convert it into Fiat for daily expenses so I only have few .
But at least I earn some profit instead of having nothing at all it is much more better.
Yea it is better to have little than not to have at all and I van fully understand how much expenses that keeps coming ones way on a daily basis, but one thing about this investment of a thing is that one really needs to be very discipline because of our future and future of our children.

We can’t because of daily expenses not make some heavy investment and just close ones eyes to it even if one will suffer it for a while. I usually do this too before until one of my brother asked me one question, he said how would I answer my children when they ask me in future where I was when everyone was making investment and holding it. Would I tell them I couldn’t meet p because of expenses?
2059  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 9K$, China Banned miners on: April 12, 2019, 06:48:51 PM
Good news, China Banned BTC miners,Demand will be increased so Price will go up.
But I don’t see it as good news in the main time, if they ban miners, they are indirectly banning BTC then, which is not too good for us, miners can always come from region and what is exactly the population of miners in China for us to start jubilating their ban, China is a big country with rich people, we need them to fully adopt cryptocurrency so that we can have more populations that will invest in it or make use of it as a utility token.

Anyway, we still cannot fully speculate that the Ban will have any effect on BTC, let us see how it goes this period and see if truly, their ban has any influence in the current market supply.
2060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could a coin price be locked in place? on: April 06, 2019, 09:45:32 AM
Tokens and ICO are the most coins that becomes frozen because there is not traders or the traders has left the specific coin.
He wouldn't be asking such a question if the price of Bitcoin only goes up. Let's assume that the price keeps going up and never goes down, you wouldn't like to have it locked in place (particular rate) because you would like to make profit. Bitcoin is determined by the selling and buying. How much that comes in or goes out at that moment will determine where the price is heading to.

Exchanges are not even the ones who can say what the price is going to be. Buying cryptocurrency is the same like when you're buying stocks, you don't expect their price to be fixed. If you feel like you're going to lose money due to the price that is volatile, all you can do is to pull your money to real money. There are exchanges that can let you switch to a different currency right on their platform if you'd like to keep your money.
