2061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if influential people buy Bitcoin back and forth? on: July 07, 2021, 09:03:08 AM
If many influential/giant whales post messages expressing support for Bitcoin, or expressing that they have purchased Bitcoin, will they promote market changes? If they enter the cryptocurrency field back and forth, whether cryptocurrency is not considered free and easy The market is over, and everyone is following the whale operation. Although the market needs volatility, is this kind of random volatility still meaningful?

There is always a bigger fish. Even if you are the richest guy on earth ... you will not bet all your money on 1 deal and someone can squeez you using leverage. What I'm saying is that if "influential" people will try to mess up with market ... soner or later they, and all their followers will hit massive wall, megalodon will eat whale and small fishes that fallow him. He will set huge wall that will stop all buy/sell pressure, without pump after news people will start to sell killing price. What I'm saying is that its not that easy to manipulate market in long run.
2062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fractional Reserve Banking System vs Tether on: July 07, 2021, 06:41:54 AM
Fractional reserve banking is a system where only a fraction (10%)

I wish it to be 10%. In my country its 0.5% .... It means that banking system can generate 200x the amount of money they actually hold because of another mechanism - money creation

After March 26, 2020 in US minimal reserve was set to ... 0%. Means that banks no longer need to have money to lend... They can lend as much as they want and in the situation of "bank-run" withdrawals will be locked, or we will see bail out and FED will simply print new currency units to patch the problem.

2063  Economy / Speculation / Re: analyses of market condition on: July 07, 2021, 06:29:25 AM
BTC

Bitcoin in the early high fall, the top test 36000 position suppression, but the top suppression force is strong, the market began to decline.  The lowest hit 34000 position line, the market gradually stabilized in the downward process, the downward force slowed down, tends to shock, in the short period of upward signs of strong upward.  Top concern 35500 line suppression, lower concern 34000 position support.  Operationally, you can use the support at 34000 to do a short long, place a long order around 34300, stop loss at 33800, and stop profit at 35200 to 35500.

We are currently locked in this triangle.

We have tested resistance 7 times, support 4 times. After breakout we may see a massive price action. I would not bet for pennies inside this triangle. Especially i would not sell at 35500.

What about alts? They will fallow BTC. No need to chart them.
2064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ABC and POS on: July 04, 2021, 12:20:58 PM
This change will most likely bring a strong revival to the project. Personally, I think it will help the project come out of the shell as a fork, and instead work independently and create what they want good for the upcoming community.

The problem is that BCHA is just a btc fork that lost battle with BTC in being "real bitcoin". Now its just a useless shitcoin with "bitcoin" in name and in fact this "bitcoin" in name is only reason why this project still exist because it has no advantage over anything. There are 10 000 projects listed on coinmarketcap ... question is ... do we need another solution that no one is using? Do we need ex bitcoin fork that promise to achive something in future while we already have working products?

BTC - store of value
ETH- smart contracts
BSC - fast and cheap smart contracts on less decentralized chain
stable coins on ETH or BSC - a cheap, fast and convenient way to transfer value that is used by everyone who earns / spends crypto online

Why we need ex btc fork for?
2065  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Thai SEC files criminal complaint against Binance on: July 04, 2021, 10:54:25 AM
Binance might be big when comparing to BTC-e but it's nothing compared to Huawei and we know who was backing those up. Did the US care?

Did US close Huawei or just ban US companies from interacting with Huawei? In fact binance is already banned in US. It has a separate platform binance.us to operate there.

How is it possible that Bitmex still run after its CEO being jailed while binance will be closed after CZ being arrested?

5-15% tax from 5 bilion$ = 250-750 mln$ income for country that will accept them. Thats enough to not run out of countries to flee to.

But unfortunately, there is no country in which Binance has actually paid tax! So, seeing that no country in which they have been based for a while got any penny, why would anybody give them refuge?

Didn't know that. But they will if there will be no alternative.

Maybe i'm wrong (not the first time, not the last time) ... but I'm sure that it is much safer to use binance rather than kucoin, huobi, bitfinex ... simply 99% of other exchanges.
2066  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Thai SEC files criminal complaint against Binance on: July 04, 2021, 10:02:29 AM
Yea but why they all attack binance? Because binance operates in/from country without licence. Which crypto exchange has licence in every country it operates?

Yeah, heard that about btc-e also, this is Russia, the US can't move a finger, what happened with them?

It was 2017 back then and according to Wikipedia BTC-e was responsible for around 3% of crypto volume. Its 2021 now and binance is responsible for close to half of whole crypto volume. So we are talking about 10-50 mln$ in profit vs 5 bilion$ in profit. Its a huge difference.

Till they will run out of countries to flee from and to.

5-15% tax from 5 bilion$ = 250-750 mln$ income for country that will accept them. Thats enough to not run out of countries to flee to.
2067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ABC and POS on: July 04, 2021, 06:44:33 AM
So its still proof of work network right? What is this staking made for? Does it have any use case for chain or it was introduced to BTC ABC only because staking is popular last days and every shitty EtH token has it?

When we are talking about staking - main question is - where are rewards come from. If they come from inflation, and staking has no use case other than locking investors coins - staking has no value.
2068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: FRM token holders, is it worth to hold and wait until $2? on: July 04, 2021, 06:35:52 AM
I'm a holder of this token right now, and I keep it on my wallet for long term investment but I also need some input from those people who also hold this asset. Though it had pump for months ago this year, and then goes down after btc had a downturn since June. Base on the community of ferrum network there's a lot of development and in fact they're burning 10k frm lastly, that's why many people who've been members of the community has lot of positive expectations on this project that it will have to reach $2 in the upcoming years.
Any ideas to add up here? and let's open it up for discussions.
Here's the link of their last tweet: https://twitter.com/FerrumNetwork/status/1400094346704269316?s=19

BTC is down 40% from ATH. Solid alts are down 50-70% ... Ferrum dumped 90% - thats huge difference. It shows that it was just pump and dump driven buy guys who don't bother to dump their coins at 1/10 of its value 2 months ago ... mostly becuase they bought because it was pumping and now are selling because its dumping (pump and dump shame).
Good sell price was 0.7$ after breaking trend line. Second one was @50 cents after breaking support. Whoever hold FRM untill todays day made a "hodl" decision long before.

"burning 10k frm lastly" - thats 1300$
2069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis of the causes of bitcoin's fall that is minimized on: July 04, 2021, 06:07:41 AM
Everything goes up and down. There is not a single asset that grows 0.1% per day and never go back. There is only one reason why BTC dumped - its becuase it pumped hard before. You dont want BTC to dump? You need to stop it from pumping - taking it out from all exchanges and blocking P2P trading - impossible.

"bitcoin plummets"

now - BTC @35k
01.2021 - BTC @20k
01.2020 - BTC @10k
01.2019 - BTC @4k

"fall of bitcoin"
2070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying other cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: July 03, 2021, 03:57:45 PM
I couldn't afford to buy 1btc so I didn't buy

You could buy 0.5BTC, 0.1 BTC or even 0,00000001BTC=0,00015$ = 0,015 cents (@15k price) - minimal investment in bitcoin! How dare you to say that bitcoin is "the only genuine crypto currency" if you don't even know that it is divisible and you can invest as much as you want, no matter how high BTC price is.

Back to your question. If your knowledge about crypto is that small, and you did not improve it in last 7 months (last time BTC was @15k 7 months ago) you should avoid any altcoin. Mostly because 99% of them are scam, useless or dead projects. There are no more than 10 good alts out of 10 000 listed on coinmarketcap and all of them are overpriced right now if we entered bear market (all TA indicators call bear market now)
2071  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Thai SEC files criminal complaint against Binance on: July 03, 2021, 02:09:20 PM
It seems to me that Binance is under fire and I don't think that it's going to be any good for any cryptocurrencies listed on the platform because people will try their best to evacuate out of the platform because they don't know what's going to be happening to this lawsuits against Binance and the likeliness of shutting down is high.

XD XD

"likeliness of shutting down is high." YEA. Who will shut down binance? Ronald McDonald? Bitmex CEO was arrested in US for running Bitmex ... Bitmex is still not closed...

They have the most capital in the whole crypto, the best lawyers, the best workers that are responsible regulations:

Cryptocurrency Giant Binance.US Hires Former Top Bank Regulator
Binance Hires Former US Senator Max Baucus

Thats multi billion $ business. No one is going to shut them down.

@OP Who cares about Thai SEC?Smiley For sure not binance investors - no one is dumping on this FUD
2072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Deploys New AML Solution Amid Regulatory Pressure on: July 03, 2021, 08:56:55 AM
Binance aims to be another nasdaq. Fully regulated all in one exchange. They have crypto, crypto futures, options and even Stock Tokens product slowly adding more and more stocks. They are hiring ex regulators:

Cryptocurrency Giant Binance.US Hires Former Top Bank Regulator
Binance Hires Former US Senator Max Baucus

Its not surprising at all that they do all they can to trade and sort out and block all crime activities - without that they won't achieve their goals.

But no worries. There will always be a lot of alternatives. Question is ... how many people will want to use risky, small, shady exchanges rather than fully regulated, safe exchange.
2073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most centralized cryptocurrency? on: July 03, 2021, 08:43:11 AM
Will decentralized counterparts ultimately prevail?

They won't. True decentralization is very expensive and unscalable. Its not like bitcoin have around 5 TX/s because bitcoin is old tech that will sooner or later die. Its because thats pretty much what you can have with 100% decentralized chain secured by proof of work. Always when you try to scale up your chain you need to give a little bit of decentralization in return. And we need both decentralized and semi-centralized for different purposes. For storing value we need safe - full decentralization (BTC, ETH). For fast, cheap, efficient swaps we need semi-centralized chains (BNB). Fully centralized chain ... I don't think we need that - its just inefficient alternative for "excell sheet".

The most centralized chain - XRP.
2074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Idea: An elegant solution for algorithm stablecoin with Multi-Asset Reserve on: July 02, 2021, 09:00:07 AM
Compared with the existing stablecoin, such as USDT, DAI, FEI, etc., TiTi Protocol has six major advantages: decentralized, high capital utilization, more stable efficient guaranteed by risk-proof reserves and multi-asset reserves, resistance to volatility risks.

DAI is decentralized, all of them have high capital utilization and all of them have resistance to volatility risks - thats why we call them stable coins.

4) Anti-Volatility risk: By introducing the multi-assets reserve mechanism, the protocol amortizes the risk of individual asset fluctuations, thereby enhancing the risk resistance of the entire system. At the same time, the protocol introduces financial products such as MMF, which creates new game models, to further guarantees the stability of TiTi;

DAI is also secured by multi-assets reserve. If all those assets are crypto tokens - diversification does not work that way. If BTC dumps - everything dumps. Everything crypto token flows on river called bitcoin.

Sąd podpisał papiery o przeniesienie go do Stanów chwilę przed "samobójstwem"
2076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk accidentally created a new cryptocurrency. WTF? on: July 01, 2021, 07:38:40 AM
I doubt that. Elon is not on drugs. At least he is not promoting shady project for money, because he has enough Smiley

Yea he has enough money but McAfee wasn't poor too. Maybe Elon is not doing it for money but for sure he is playing with people and their lives ... If I was about to make a bet i would say that he is doing that to boost his ego.
To tickle his self-esteem at the expense of people who spend weeks researching the market, doing TA, and investing taking know risk, while 1 tweet made as a joke destroys their returns. He knows that ... he don't give a fuck. In the moment when real interest rates are in ATL since 1980 and people are desperate to find good investment - he is doing it even harder for them. People who stay out of him are affected by his tweets, poeple who fallow him are baited into shitcoins "He does things for society" Yea sure XD

Not promoting shady projects? What about cumrocket? CumRocket Cryptocurrency Erupts 350% After Elon Musk Tweet
2077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fact: There is no anything like money laundering but governments want to buy BTC on: June 30, 2021, 01:37:40 PM
then in exchange he transfers money using a bank account to your account so how it could be possible that money laundering might exist?

1- You dont need bank account to withdraw BTC to cash. Many ATMs all around Europe let you withdraw/deposit up to 10k euro without KYC (in single swap).
2- You can easily show fake loss or fake profit using BTC and many crypto exchanges. So if you are able to go one way from dirty money into BTC ... its super easy to show that you earned them via trading or other activities (like creating nice NFT).
3- you can buy/sell via P2P using vendors that accept cash
4- you can buy bank account on darknet and use it for crime. You cannot transer this money to your bank account but you can buy crypto using it and use crypto to lose tracks.

“If an elderly but distinguished scientist says that something is possible, he is almost certainly right; but if he says that it is impossible, he is very probably wrong.”

If you dont know how people can use crypto for money laundering it does not mean that it is impossible and government is lying. Maybe just you are not informed enough.

2078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk accidentally created a new cryptocurrency. WTF? on: June 30, 2021, 01:20:55 PM
I think this is not an attempt "to influence the crypto market", but some tricky person just created this token to sell it during hype. Elon Musk zero relationship to this Floki token.

This is a great example of how greedy people can be and how easily they can be tricked and controlled. This is so simple. Take what ever Elon says, create a token with same name and voila, you are locked and loaded for scam sale.

+1. Thats what we see right now. If it was Elon job he would create this token while ago and create some price action around it before tweet.
But its not that easy - create token, put it on uniswap and become milionere. You also need to have few MM$ in ETH to be able to create liquidity on uniswap big enought to not arouse suspicion. So its rich guys game.
I wonder if Elon will end like McAfee one day...
2079  Economy / Speculation / Re: Summer dip?!, December price outcome? ---> JOIN and guess the price GO! on: June 27, 2021, 12:22:13 PM
Thank you El duderino_ for this competition.
Thank you LoyceV for invitation

6 months from now ... Its super hard but lets try. First of all - is it the end of bull run?

I think that bubble that we've seen should not end up with 3 month consolidation. Thats not how bubble looks like. Every bitcoin bubble, dotcom bubble (tech bubbles), tulip bubble (dumb bubble), silver in 2011 ended with masive final spike - pure mania of street invesotrs and short squeez of early shorters.

I think that bitcoin was never stronger from fundamential point of view:

Bitcoin just started to eat its portion of corporate debt bubble cake

Until 2023 FED does not plan to rise interest rates. I assume that we should have 1.5 years more of "bubble of everything"

BTC was never an "alternative investment asset" during The Real Interest Rate being negative 5%.

https://www.longtermtrends.net/real-interest-rate/

It means that if you have $1M  in your bank account you are paying $4166 MONTHLY in inflation (in devaluation of your savings). Fking 4k! Treasury bonds or term deposits gives nothing (0-0,2%). People are desperate to find good investment. Last time it was like that in 1980! But in 1980 Debt to GDP wasnt at 140%

Until 2023 inflation will go to 20%. Everything will pump. Why BTC should dump? Only because of short term price action and scary looking chart? I guess that we are currently in massive shake out made by whale manipulation that will end sooner or later ... Maybe after testing 20k in next month? Maybe even now.

Now, that we know the direction that I think price will go its time for my price guess. Here I must say that I think that its impossible to estimate this. I just randomdraw how a strong recovery could look like and cut off December 7th (white line). Strong recovery because thats why I expect based on economic situation and bitcoin fundamentials.

Green line is a taproot activation. I think it will help recovery.

From this we have 44500 or 53300 (depends if we are going to test 20k or bottomed right now). If I was writing this post yesterday I would pick 44500 after testin 20k. Today, after strong recovery from 30k to 33k i'm closer to "we've seen bottom" verion. So after long story final bet is $53 300
2080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT has broken the buck, once Tether goes to zero so does the real value of BTC on: June 26, 2021, 11:08:07 AM
Well as people have been saying for months, Tether is crap, and the entire price of all crypto is traded in Tether
So right now they just lost $3B ( now $60B ) that means if the first to leave already got their 'cash', then there is no cash left for the bag-holders ( HODLer's )

Gold, silver, oil, wheat, sugar, cotton, platinum, nagtural gas, corn, copper ... simply everything is traded in USD. USD "is crap" - 25% of supply was printed last year. Does that mean that all commodity that are being traded in USD will go to 0 together with USD crash? Or rather they will all moon in USD price ??

USDT was a big thread before 2020. Now stablecoins like USDC, BUSD, DAI, TUSD, PAX are getting stronger and stronger and have 70% of tether marketcap now. USDC has bigger volumes in main trading pairs on DEX exchanges.  Tether failure and thether FUD is my dream come true scenario. We will see huge dump and great buing opportunity. Price will recover very fast.
