Its a shame that Bangladesh will fall short of making the finals as I gave them a big chance to make it before the tournament started. They did well to stay in the match against India but no player couldn't go on and make that century that could of seen them win the match as the top order all go starts but couldn't go on with the job.

My thinking is that New Zealand will win against England which give Pakistan a chance but then Bangladesh win against Pakistan to keep them out of the semi-finals. My way of thinking is that the remaining matches need to mean something to the teams as if New Zealand win it also gives a slim chance for Sri Lanka to also make the semi-finals if they can beat India. Or England could win which then only gives Pakistan a chance at making the semi-finals however they will need to boost their NRR to jump New Zealand so there is a few ways this can play out so lets see what happens.
2082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoS/MN] Gentarium (GTM) | Masternode hosting platform | Shared MN service on: July 02, 2019, 10:46:26 PM
I think that Gentarium will be a top gainer once the Altcoin bull run starts as we know it has a use case with their masternode platform and that the team are working on future developments such as DPoS. The problem is that GTM has lost volume on exchanges which could also be contributing to the price fall as people get impatient waiting to sell and just sell into buy orders.
I don't want to compare Gentarium and Gincoin, but because they are in the same ecosystem of Proof-of-Stake / Masternode hosting service providers, so it is a ridiculous fact to see both Gentarium and Gincoin have fallen deeply over last two months. There are even more shit coins that have price 10 times or 20 times higher than Gentarium and Gincoin. So, yes, Gentarium will exponentially rally when altcoin season comes, that we have nearly seen its early phase within last two days.

I agree mate, there are so many shitcoins out there and more released each week and people still chase after them because of the high ROI that most offer. This is the problem in crypto now, everyone wants fast profits so they chase the high ROI MN and PoS coins. I'm sure that this will change in the future and more people will look for stable coins that have a use case like Gentarium.

I will be looking for some value in this years Wimbledon as Federer and Djokovic are at short odds in my opinion, yes both play best on grass but I'm looking for a player on the rise that may challenge them and maybe even beat them. I was looking at Stefanos Tsitsipas but just not sure how he will go on grass, he looks to be a great hard court player but on grass he does look suspect. I really like Thiem but he struggles on grass, what do you guys think? who do you like to win Wimbledon besides Federer, Nadal and Djokovic?

Yes, the odds are really short for the two best grass court player we have right now. Stefanos? You know his he one of my favorites, so I will definitely look on him, yes he is seriously a good clay player, but who knows, maybe he can pull some magic in the grass and learn to love it.

Milos Raonic might be good as he reached last year's QF, if I'm not mistaken. Cilic and Nadal is also good but I don't know if they can go against the tennis levels of Djokovic and Federer in this tournament.

Edit: Just as I suspected, Stefanos lost already, too bad, it was a hard fought match though so I give him the props.  Sad. Probably a sign that there will be more upsets in the mens and ladies now.

Auger Aliassime might be a good long shot.

Well the upsets keep coming in the Men's draw with Thiem losing in four sets after winning the first set to Sam Querrey. At least two of the big names made it through the first round Nadal and Federer both won their matches however Federer did drop the first set in his match but then went on to win the match easily. Kyrgios is also through after a tough five set match against fellow country man Thompson. He must now face Nadal in the second round, can Kyrgios do what he did a few years ago and knock Nadal out of Wimbledon? I must say that Kyrgios does seem to play well against Nadal and has beaten him a few times before so he is in with a big chance to cause an upset.
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💥SOLARIS XLR💥100% PoS + Masternodes💥Txbit.io exchange is live now ! on: July 02, 2019, 10:31:44 PM
Txbit.io by now has been old enough to be listed on coinmarketcap. Addtionally, it has shown that it is a legit exchange. In reality, total volume per day on txbit.io has increased considerably over recent months. I don't understand reasons of the CMC hesitation on listing txbit.io on that site. Maybe, they have reasons behind the scene, that we have not known yet because they have not publicly stated about that anywhere.

I'm not sure either why they are taking a long time to list txbit. I just read in the txbit/Solaris discord that txbit is on the shortlist for a potential listing and that they haven't given a time frame for when they might consider txbit. We just have to all wait and keep supporting txbit the best we can either by trading on there or by spreading the word about txbit on social media which I have been doing.
2085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PlatinumBAR XPTX - Rare Cryptocurrency with PoW / PoS (230%) on: July 02, 2019, 10:27:16 PM
Neurotic and I sent in a request for XPTX to be listed on the Blocknet Block DX months ago but now that I check on there, XPTX is not listed so not sure what is going on. We also paid them some XPTX to set it up at the time, maybe when there was issues with syncing they couldn't get the wallet to work, I'm not sure as we never got a reply back from them.
2086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥[ANN] [POS/MN] ESBC Betting Platofrm🔥🔥🔥 on: July 02, 2019, 10:22:25 PM
Its nice to see ESBC expanding and getting listed on more exchanges, in my opinion I think ESBC is on enough exchanges for now as now its time to start marketing the brand once the betting platform is back online. I have asked a couple of times now, we there be other sports league to bet on once the football season starts again?
2087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: July 02, 2019, 10:17:55 PM
Its a shame that HTS is losing value each week as I had high hopes for this staking coin. It just goes to show that some staking coins are hit and miss when it comes to new projects. I always turn to the old staking coins like Bean Cash and MOIN which have been doing very well for many years now. I do like the look of Sinovate which Abiky mentioned, I have been following this project for a while now and am thinking about owning a position in this project once I get some spare BTC.

Unfortunately, that's the same trend of most PoS coins. This is largely because, most PoS coins have a high inflation rate (which means a higher supply in the long run) causing prices to fall drastically within a short time frame. That's why, it's good to stick with the good-old PoS coins like Bean Cash, Peercoin, and Blackcoin. They have a proven track record of development and innovation over the years, making them ideal long-term investments.

Still though, there are some PoS coins which are quite promising (despite being relatively new). Sinovate is one of those coins, as well as, Syndicate and Decred. Personally, my most favorite nowadays is Decred since you get to buy some "staking tickets" in order to stake your DCR over time without even having to open your wallet 24/7. It's a PoW cryptocurrency, making it one of the best cryptocurrencies in existence today. Of course, it's been under the radar of most investors for some time now. But, I believe that it's a hidden gem waiting to blossom someday.

Decred's development team is quite active, providing innovation every step of the way. Syndicate is also good with some attractive stake rates that are hard to ignore. In the end, everything depends whenever a specific PoS coin maintains its value over time, or all the other way around it. As long as you stick with PoS coins that have a low stake rate (like PPC), then your investment will do fine for many years to come.

Nonetheless, the best PoS coins to invest right now might very well be both Bean Cash and Decred. Just my opinion Smiley

I have looked at Decred but never got in only because I was staking a few other coins at that time but I might be able to start staking this coin now. I'm in the process of upgrading some hardware so that I can start sprouting Bean Cash again as that wallet uses a lot of memory. I'm also looking at a coin I had a couple of years ago and that is Reddcoin but this wallet also uses a lot of memory when staking so I need to weight up my options and see which is best for me.
2088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: July 01, 2019, 10:51:10 PM
It was fixed 100%, the ones who think other wise really need to look at the match again. Remember one thing players train almost daily so they know what they are doing, batsman can easily go out and bowlers can easily bowl balls in the right spots for batsman to score the runs, fielders can drop easy catches, the list goes on lol. How many easy catches do we see and say how did they drop that, well because they train they can make it look good just like acting. People really need to start waking up to fixed sports and just so everyone knows I'm not an Indian cricket fan as I'm an Australian fan but I could clearly see that something shady was going on in the match.

What more does txbit need to do before CMC list them? I just don't understand why it is taking so long for them to list txbit, surely by now they can see that txbit is legit and here to stay. I don't want to bug them anymore as it might make them upset and then they take longer to list txbit, last I heard they said that they are reviewing txbit which is the reply I received on my tweet to them.

Major upsets on the first day in the Men's draw with Alexander Zverev and Stefanos Tsitsipas out, this is why I didn't want to bet before the tournament started so I can get an idea on who looks good. I think I made a good call not putting money on Tsitsipas before the tournament as he was one I was loking to bet on for some value but now he is out. That isn't all, Osaka in the Women's draw is also out. Its the first time a world number 2 has been knocked out in the first round since Martina Hingis in 2001. Not only that Venus Williams is also out beaten by 15 year old Cori Gauff, it was a crazy first day that's for sure.

Hey guys,

I would like to get your opinions on Neblio? I have been following this project for a while now since the start of the year and it does look good to me as a stable PoS coin. I know the price is up over $1 however its a long way off its ATH of around $37 and has been flat lined for close to a year now so I was wondering what everyone thinks about this one here?

I've heard of them for a long time and the coin has often had predictable volatility so it has been good to trade.   Looks like they are doing
updates:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2048414.0

Yeah it has been mate but for the past year it has been around the same price which is what caught my attention. I like PoS coins that are able to hold and remain at around the same price for long periods of time and Neblio is one of them. I'll see how these upcoming updates go and then decide if I should buy or not.

Still syncing at the moment.  The beancash wallet seems to use a lot of cpu power?  Its using over 60% while its syncing.  Is that normal?

So basically if you do anything like sprouting or anything, its going to use a ton of cpu right?  Thus if you want to sprout or do anything like that, don't do this on your main computer since it will be using a lot of cpu etc?  I was doing other things earlier while running beancash as i need to sync it and my cpu went to 100% usage.

Yes this is normal as I had the same thing happen when I left the wallet off for a week and then needed to catch up. The other thing is that the wallet will use a lot of memory so be sure you have enough space on your PC for this.

I keep getting memory full notices, then have to restart the GUI. I think I need a bigger SSD?

Hmm, I have the same issue which I said in previous posts on here because the Bean Cash blockchain is so big now it takes up a lot of memory so I am upgrading to 16GB ram from 8GB ram and hopefully that will be enough to run all my staking wallets including Bean Cash. So you might need to do the same mate, I may even got up to 32GB ram but I need to save up more for this.

RAM upgrade? why RAM and not SSD?

Well actually I'm thinking about doing both as like I said I plan to have all my PoS coins staking on the one PC. I mainly worry about Bean Cash as right now I'm not sprouting my beans as the wallet takes up too much memory on my laptop. I have since switched them to my PC but I need to upgrade the hardware for me to be able to run all my wallets.

AceD has been seeing some price action in the past few days which is good to see. From what I understand the poker platform isn't too far away from launching as the team found some more bugs and are currently fixing them before going live. I know it is taking longer then expected but at least the team are doing the right thing and fixing issues before launching their product. A lot of projects rush things and just want to release products without taking the time to make sure everything is okay first unlike AceD which is why I am holding this coin for the long term.

Who else thinks like me that India LOST the match INTENTIONALLY to support England as to join the last 4, so that Pakistan and Bangladesh don't get a chance?

The funniest thing is, Indians weren't able to hide that they were intentionally losing. The way they played first ten overs of the batting inning, and the way MS Dhoni got strengthless at the end, it proved that they were playing a completely fixed game.

This is against the spirit of cricket, TBH. Plus they still have NOT qualified for the semi-finals, if they somehow (very unlikely, but it's still not impossible) lose to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, they'll be out of the world cup. Roll Eyes

All major sporting events are fixed to a certain degree, yes I agree that India looked bad in this match and yes it did look like they were playing to lose. I was attacked last year for saying that the Champions League final was fixed which it clearly was and I'm glad to see that more people are waking up to this crap as it shouldn't be happening but money now rules over all sports. I also don't like when people say, India had an off day lol because it was easy to see what was going on here. They need England to make the finals as its played in their country and that the Ashes is also coming up soon so I wouldn't be surprised if it will be an England v Australia final with England winning and Australia winning the Ashes or the opposite way around.

BNB had a lot of backing behind it so of course it was going to take off like it did and I'm confident that txbit and Solaris will eventually take off in the same way in the future so lets just see what the team can deliver with the Stratis code base.
At the moment, and in medium term, BNB DEX might play important role to make Solaris and txbit.io more popular in crypto. Later, then Solaris team finish their works with new codebase from Stratis, both Solaris and txbit.io might take off considerably. I remember the price of Solaris above $50 too much, and still waited patiently to see it comes back to that range. I wish that it might occur in late of 2019 or early months (first half) of the next year.

To be honest, I'm not sure if we will see Solaris at $50 any time soon unless there is a massive bull run for Altcoins and then it might happen but I think it will take at least another year or two for Solaris to reach that level again. We could get there sooner depending on what the team can achieve with the Stratis code base and new developments. I will continue to hold my Solaris for the long term like I have since the project launched.
2097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 30, 2019, 10:20:44 PM
There have been some good suggestions and I agree with most, I think Raonic does have a chance at winning however the problem is that when he gets to the final stages of a Grand Slam he always lets him self down even when he is in the match. Anderson is another player that has a chance but again like Raonic he just doesn't seem to have the mentality to win. Nick Kyrgios does have what it takes to win a Grand Slam but he first needs to get his mentality right which we have been saying on here for over a year now. This is why we always come back to the big three Federer, Nadal and Djokovic to win every Grand Slam because the up and coming players just don't have what it takes right now to beat them in big matches. Wimbledon starts in less then 24 hours so I might watch the first round to see how the players go before placing a bet.

Another great interview from the Sentivate team, I highly recommend everyone check it out and also to check out their other interviews they have had in the past few months. This is what I like to see in a team that is willing to do interviews explaining what their project is all about and helping people understand what the team are trying to achieve with Sentivate.

I have a question for the team and that is will the team be attending any Blockchain conferences in the near future to speak and share the Sentivate project with the world?

i heard its scam already

I knew that this was a risk when I got in, I even mentioned this on Twitter that it is a risk but it could pay off if the dev team deliver. I hope its not turned scam as like I said XORN does have potential to be a top project but I can understand why some are thinking this as there have been no updates from the team in a while, well nothing on here.

I think the only thing we are going to have left is pay for a listing on a actual exchange that allows USA.  Have no other options at this point I feel like.

Coinexchange is an option but I'm not sure what the listing fee is, last I heard it was around 2 BTC but that was a few months ago and exchanges are changing their listing fees regularly. I don't like to use VPN on exchanges because there is a risk of getting caught which I don't like to risk. I guess we need to see if the community can come together and maybe set up a donation fund to pay for another listing.
