Merits are for those deserving people.Looking at your posts, it doesn't look good and more likely a shitpost or spam only. Maybe you're just an alternative account ranting here using that account? 'Cause if you're really a beginner then why spend a time to rant about merits than learning how to make quality posts, learn blockchain and do effort? You just have 10 posts and activities spammin' the alt section, what do you expect? lol. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Just gonna share my experience about bitcoin here.
We had a lot of seminars about blockchain (future technology) and I foresee a lot of great development in our society once all of us adapted the use of bitcoin in our life. It'll make us easier and all of us can be equal. I can't explain it more but I know that it has great impact in our social life and that's what we need now, a development to our social life to make a social gain.
Social status are now important and many people make their lives easier through the massive development of technolgoy, they know how to make use of it. So if we adopt the usage of bitcoin, there will be also a change that will make our nation or maybe worldwide better again.

Limit your bankroll and make sure to quit when you already attained that certain point. If you will be more greedy then there's no chance for you to control and the outcome will be worse. It's not easy but if you will build good system to yourself and you play emotionless strategy will work and you will avoid losing big amount of money and chance to make some good profits may happen to you.
Never give up to try to control yourself because that is worth your money and your time. If you can do it easily, you don't have to worry about addicting because you can control yourself with good. Managing yourself will need time before you can do with easy. Besides that, controlling yourself will also prevent the greedy that might comes to you in the gambling games. But still, it is hard to see the profit from managing yourself unless you have luck in gambling. But with have control over yourself, you can have a chance to reduce your loss in gambling. I also think that we should always exercise our self-control when it comes to our gambling, I get that people may not like to do this when they are having fun and the only thing that they want to do is to relax and have a good time but there are activities in which you should never let your guard down and gambling is one of them, because if you do and you enjoy it too much the next time you gamble you will be tempted to do the same and this could begin a cycle which you cannot stop. Yes, control is not can be easily achieved because it requires training also during in-game or not. We should have a good mindset and a well-trained brain for you to success in controlling yourself in gambling. It will have advantages if you have control, fewer problems and less stress in life 'cause if you get addicted to gambling then continuos loss might happen and will ruin your life.

I learned to control and being a mindful gambler. There's a lot of things we can learn through gambling, not only this, and it depends on our approach to gambling. We can learn such probabilities in this game and might create an idea or strategy for winning a game. It can be a tool for you to make good decisions in life and not to be reckless in situations. I learn the basic fact, that no one can beat the house edge you can beat him sometimes but most of the time the house will always comeback to beat you, now if you put more time and money on the gambling table chances are you will not be putting something in the family's table, so better choose your priority.
This is true also, the house edge are the one who keeps winning 'til the end. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Bitcoin is already confirmed as a decentralized asset, I'm wondering what is the use of this thread?
We can freely but and sell bitcoin through many various platforms, that's how decentralized works right? So I think decentralization in this asset does really working. If you will compare trading to mining, it's very different as the mining can be controlled by many companies.
In trading, it can be also centralized, once the platform requires KYC to the users 'cause we can't buy bitcoin freely and anonymously.

Another gold medal in eSports has won by the Team Sibol of the Philippines in Dota2 Competition! The comeback is real dudes~
This is the medal tally of this day! This is the first update for the medal tally of this week. Source from PHISGOC SEA GAMES SERVER updated as of Dec 09, 2019 10:34 PM
Who watched the dota 2 match for today? PH made a comeback on the last match, it's just a proof that Filipinos are really good at games. This is part of e-sports in 30th sea games but I've never seen a sports book that have listed Mobile Legends on their platform.
i dont think MLBB will added on betting sports , because i cleary see this game have imbalance on their hero. that why i choose DOTA as a good E sports game, not meant to compare but the fact , balance of game play on MLBB is very lack. That's more like true, I would also choose DotA over MLBB since there is a big difference in the hero balance and the hero pool will only depend on roles and not on the combo of skills. DotA is for sure a majority choice but actually not all of the people can't afford to buy a computer that's why they prefer mlbb and although theirs an hero unbalance selections by them but for sure it's all matter on convenience and almost all people use smart phones and for sure they will select mlbb since it's easy to play on. Dota2 has a good balanced while MLBB was just a copycat from LoL. Devs of MLBB weren't good to maintain their game as a balanced game. Once they release new heroes, it's very OP and must be banned in every rank game. Still, I support them as one of the leading mobile game but I think they'll disappear soon once Wild Drift from Riot released next year. It's better to include Dota2 on betting sites, as you can see in the match, there's a comeback, there are many unpredictable moments like this so you will not predict and bet easily. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I guess we have the clear winner for the top country in garnering medals here. Host country has really advantage on many things. But still curious on the final tally of medals. After so many hullaballoos surrounding this event, seems that everything is going to be on their proper places.
Seems to me that the host team will win the most medal tally not only in gold's but also in silver and bronze. The current standing can tell it all and it's hard to coup up with the lead like this. Advance congratulations to the Philippines for a well played SEA games competition. Yes, I think it's impossible to catch up with the Philippines in the medal standings. If I'm not mistaken, there are still a lot of sports that Philippines is expecting to win gold, it's just a battle on who will win the second place because it looks like a tight race between Vietnam and Indonesia. There are still a lot of games and Indonesia might win it. According to the medal tally that I've posted earlier, they need 79 medals. Although very impossible to our eyes but I think if they do their best, they can defeat the Philippines when it comes to the medal tally. Well, all of us already won 'cause all of the countries had their own medals. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I'm just looking forward now for Timor Leste, they have now 1 bronze award and that's very amusing 'cause we all deserve at least 1 medal in this sea games.

This is something I should be proud of so I'll share it here. Team Sibol MLBB of the Philippines gets the very first gold medal for esports in the history of SEA Games in the Mobile Legends Competition. The match had a 5 series games and with a score of 3-2 in favor of the PH team against the Indonesia Team. It makes me really proud since I support our country in this Sea Games and I'm a gamer that also watches tournaments and this match really amusing to watch. #WeWinAsOne Who watched the MLBB Finals between PH and Indonesia. It is another comeback from behind by the Philippines. I thought Indonesia will end this tournament without a loss but Philippines came back and won the GOLD. It was an intense game and PH shows heart by never giving up.
Me, it was an amazing fight tho! I thought team PH will gonna lose! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

~snip~
We are probably at the advocating stage already. The fact that they allow to transfer crypto to banks, hindi pa ba sapat yon na pag-suporta sa crypto? - BSP Issues Preventive Measures Against Illegal Investment Activities
- PH SEC Adopts PIC Guidance in Accounting for Cryptoassets
I think mas better kung advanced at informed na tayo, we don't need to rely too much in the government kasi alam naman nating mas marami silang mas uunahin kaysa dito. Handled naman siya ng maayos ng SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) at may mga batas na rin regarding scams and ponzi schemes. Enough na yon para magpatuloy sa pagaral ng mga kaalaman dito sa crypto, and btw di naman siya labeled as illegal doings so why would we hesitate to advocate crypto kung wala namang mali? Other countries are on the top when it comes to trading and money-related platforms, what about in concepts? did they manage to create alternate network na hindi katulad ng blockchain? wala, almost all of them are developed and improved from the idea of blockchain.
Sa aking pag tingin hindi naman natin ganun talaga kailangan ang "talks" or "seminars" about crypto or blockchain at the moment. Yes it can spread awareness sa bansa and it has the potential to make individuals be innovative on developing their own crypto or patent blockchain but this is just the future and matagal tagal pa bago natin makikita yung fruits nito and by that time naunahan na tayo ng ibang bansa sa industriya na ito. Almost all of the existing project study here, blockchains are included now. Marami ka ng makikitang project na blockchain-based and even we're not being supported by the government, dapat patuloy lang din tayo sa pag innovate ng mga ganong concept. Why do we need to wait always for the government? obviously hindi naman lahat ng tao don is ready makaappreciate ng panibagong idea, they'll stick to the old ones kaya mas better i-showcase nalang natin ang mga unique ideas regarding crypto kaysa magintay sa kanila at baka mas mapansin tayo don. The Philippines is still the leading country that has the most medal count especially the gold medal.
but the number 2&3 is very close things that much awaited to see less than a week from now. Yes, they're close but there are also a high probability for the Philippines to win any of the medals to the remaining sports. I'm just hoping that Timor Leste gets their own medal, we all deserve a medal. I was very surprised by the results obtained by the Vietnam men's volleyball team at the 2019 sea games event. They never won at all during the group stage. In the last match they were defeated by Cambodia with a score of 3-2. After previously they also lost to Indonesia and the host of the Philippines with a score of 3-0. Even though they were a team that had a semi-final subscription
That was an unbelievable match. The country, Indonesia, was also aiming to receive a lot of medals before they go home.

Merit is one of the hardest things in this forum you would like to gain. You need dedication and perseverance to gain at least 2-5 merits every day just to rank up and it requires a massive amount of knowledge or learnings to maintain that. It's a thing where we gain satisfaction once received especially from a higher-up that appreciates or supports your statements regarding a specific topic.
So my advice to you is to improve yourself (not creating non-sense statements) to gain merits soon. I know that there are people here who give merits once they knew your statements have meaning and really came from your mind. I hope you considered my advice to you.

Firstly, if you read my note on the footer, I mentioned there are much better software for this, and also if you dont have any internet on the time you needed it for some important matter how can you do so?
IMO If there's no internet, I think there's no use of this also 'cause you can't change the avatar that can be changed only in the browser using the internet. It's like 'and' logic operator, both needed the internet to successfully change the avatar with the right size. If there's no internet, I'll just wait 'cause there is nothing I can do also. Still, a very fine guide for beginners. Nice ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
IMO, if this problem (resizing images for avatar) is frequently asked here in Beginners & Help then I would suggest doing it on browsers than apps. That's all, thanks.

My theory to this is brave browser was made to defeat google chrome, brave browser was good at this moment and continuously upgrading its performances.
I think it is very hard to defeat chrome, as it come pre installed in all androids devices, and it integrates nicely with google products. So, most users will automatically chose chrome. Brave is chromium based, so it is somehow closer to chrome than to firefox. However, it focus in firefox market: Both firefox and brave focus in a " free web" and "privacy" propaganda (although firefox is performing better in that, imo) yes, chrome has a bigger company that can dominate all which is an advantage for them but if the people are notified and informed that this browser was 100% better then people will adapt to it. There are built-in apps in android but still, some people download the apps that are more efficient to them. So if they found out that brave was really a thing regarding adblocks they will install it.

I personally don't like the brave browser. Because the browser has a problem itself as the browser blocks ads and website trackers.
Brave browser has good advantages like having low requirement of ram storage unlike google that almost eat all of your ram. If you are a normal browser then brave is a thing we need. Maybe some are not in favor with brave due to ads which is a great feature for me. btw, i'm using brave browser now and it's really amazing and convenient to user. ,, Confirmed. The brave browser has 33 to 66% memory reduction than the google chrome, therefore, using Brave when multitasking is way more efficient than our default browsers now. The brave browser also have adblocks that lessen media such as gif or images that require memory and Brave Browser don't have many extensions and features where chrome has a lot of it. My theory to this is brave browser was made to defeat google chrome, brave browser was good at this moment and continuously upgrading its performances.

The sea games are worth to watch but sadly, I don't have enough money to watch it live. I would like to see beautiful event places like in Rizal memorial stadium.
Honestly, ticket rates are cheap. At least on the majority of the venues. Although, when I say cheap, obviously don't expect a ringside nor front seat. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) But believe me, for example, lower boxes seats of MOA arena isn't that far from the main stage as everyone thought while watching in a Live TV broadcast. Been there about 5 to 6 times. Even outside venues do have cheap ticket rates. Although if you are from Manila, you will should transport fees so better just stick around the Manila venue. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) To be honest, there's no kaching left to me because I spent it all in my project study to finish my degree. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) So even it's very cheap like the typical ticket of events in SMX, I can't afford to buy it or even pay commute fare.
