I have some cash to invest in scrypt miners and after a bit of reading I found a bunch of companies.

So, when is the first batch SP30 going to be delivered?

Well this month for sure even if there are just 10 days left.

I know they are a good crew but without even having the first set of chips in you think it will really be that smooth?

How do you know they don't have the first set of chips in hand? You don't.

Please tell me how you know that for sure, you do not know my background nor my dealing with Spondoolies or any other manufacturer, I am making statements based on the foundry production timelines as the industry isn't magic but a fairly well understood process if you have proper background...

That's correct. I don't know your background dealing with SP-Tech, but I do know that they said they will have chips late July and I do believe that it will be smooth and 10 days are plenty enough to get chips in hand and ship their small July batch. Knowing the production timelines you should also know that this is either a hit or a miss and if it's a hit they will not need a lot of days to get the miners rolling out of the door once they have chips in hand just as Collider stated.

If you so close to them you should know the answer as well,  let's assume you are close to them and know the answer, under NDA or not you shouldn't be making the statements above no matter the case because that is extremely irresponsible as you are not a formal representative of the company but you are trying to push your GB..

I haven't made any statement and I'm not trying to push any GB. Both of my GB are closed.

Fair enough, RoadStress brought a piss poor attitude with his response so I addressed it, thanks for pointing out the real status of the chips...

Discussing over the Internet (or text arguing) has its pros and cons. One of the cons (or pro) is that the reader is free to interpret the statements as he pleases. I don't think that my reply was that bad as you state and it wasn't my intention to attack you with that reply. To be honest, at first I wanted to give you an aggressive reply, but I changed my mind and gave you a normal reply. Stating that you don't know if they have or not chips in hand still seems to be a fair reply. It's not an attack. You misinterpreted my reply and I had no intention to attack you.
I also agree that sometimes I'm giving swifter replies to FUDsters, but this wasn't the case.  If this was a real life discussion I am sure that you wouldn't have misinterpreted my reply.

Let's wait and see what will next week bring us in terms of news from SP-Tech instead of arguing or making predictions. Peace! (because we all need it)

Makes no sense to move to p2pool, aside from trying to capitalise short term on the ghash '51% attack" hype. which has largely faded away, and besides been widely misinterpreted..

Pool Luck(?) (7 days, 30 days, 90 days): 134.5%140.9%109.1%

Totally makes no sense.

What makes no sense? The "luck" I posted for p2pool? Or what anon is saying about not moving to p2pool?
The luck is simply a measure of how profitable p2pool has been versus standard mining. Over the long long term by design it will be more profitable.
However, that being said, it would be prudent to be ready to switch back to a standard pool the minute that the 90 day "luck drops below 100% so that potential earnings aren't being lost.

I was being sarcastic. I agree with your last line.

Do you happen to know the reason why all US is using stupid 120V circuits?

They've got Thomas Edison to thank for that. He wanted lots and lots and lots of local power stations all supplying low voltage DC, where as Westinghouse wanted big power stations delivering high voltage AC.

But why? What could be the explanation? And why aren't they changing those rules that are over 100 years old?

About to be a month into Q3 in about a week. What's the plan for Q3/Q4 in terms of manufacturing, new Gen, etc.. Anyone know? Anyone from the board have any disclosable information?

The plan is to find more ways to not pay dividends.
2107  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: July 20, 2014, 07:04:02 AM
What a crappy deal for creditors.  Do we get to know everyone who has any financial interest in liquidbits?   Because they are obviously in bed with Eduardo and Simon.
Simon and Eduardo get to keep all the intectual property that was paid for with creditors' money. And they avoid all the nasty inquiries that seem even more likely to route out misuses of company money.  The little inconveniences that would require them to repay money they took and possibly face charges.
Liquidbits gets free use or all the chips and the IP to make more chips and boards without paying creditors anything up front.
And we creditors get nothing but the hope of a chance to get partial repayment of our claim over two years by a company none of us know and who had already entered into shady deals with hashfast before.
Hopefully the judge sees what a joke this is.   They seem to value their debt at 100 cents on the dollar and include it in their assets or contribution yet all other creditors' debt was valued at zero and only given a continent possible partial payback.   Where is the notarized capital structure of liquidbits so creditors can even see if they have sufficient equity in place to do what they claim?

I agree with this comment  Shocked. So basically one creditor gets paid off. The rest of us can only dream, hope and wish.

So this is the TL;DR version? Liquidbits (whoever they are) get paid and the rest have to wait 2 years to get just a part of what they paid? What's the reason behind this and why isn't everyone treated the same and why isn't HF's crew behind bars?

Just switch to a 208V or 220V circuit, 120V circuits are a stupid idea anyway.

Do you happen to know the reason why all US is using stupid 120V circuits?

Yesterday Israel called up 18000 reservists and today additional reservists were called in. The engineers at Spondolies tech will drop everything to serve their county once called.

What is the purpose of this FUD? Israel has 3 million reservists, 65 thousand have been called. That is a bit over 2%. The chance this affects any Spondoolies engineers (much less the team as a whole) is pretty small, even assuming they are of military age.

Well this is FUDForum!

2 units in one of the rooms? 2 units will produce ~5.4-5.6kw equivalent of heat and will require four 15A curcuits (if you are at 110V).
In my experience in regular size US bedroom, like 16' X 18', 2.2-2.3kw increased ambient temp to 33oC (from 28oC) with A/C going full blast 24hr (in summer time).

Why not trade the a/c for 1-3 big ass vents to move the air outside the room?

Hey Ken, why don't you stop being a little bitch and post some information that is of use to the people that gave you money because they had faith in you.

He is busy hiding the miners from the law!

I ordered and payed in January and February.

Middle of June i received the order (picked it up) with 150% compensation, so I got 250% GHs of my original order.

Yes it was akward. But its a very good stable product. There is nothing better on the market right now for immediate delivery. thats the truth itself.

cheers and happy mining.

When were you supposed to receive your order when you made the payments?

Do you really believe this? ignoring that fact that the product isn't available for immediate delivery...
