2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not sleep on DEx Exchange tokens on: March 23, 2023, 09:08:50 PM
I am not hodling any but i have noticed that when ever big centralized exchange gets into trouble, like gets hacked or it's stalling withdrawals etc, it's a good time to buy DEX coins immediately.

Because right after they get a lot of visibility when all dex maximalists out there start to tweet at the same time. It might take some time for them to pump but they will, almost always. So next time if i get in early i am buying them with 10x or more leverage.
2102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: March 23, 2023, 09:01:01 PM
Some months a go, I was thinking altcoins may favour me since bitcoin is still unpredictable. I decided to invest my last cash at hand on luno, Eth, buying babe doggy, peg token and tron. I don't really understand how this things works when I bought it was all gloomy without bitcoin but in less than a week my money dried up.

What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?
I am all for taking a risk, that's why most of us are in here. Big risk big reward. And i totally understand buying ETH, that isn't even that risky, but those other coins and tron?
You should maybe go and browse whitepapers of other coins before investing to some obscure low caps. I mean they are risky, but can you name one reason why would they grow in price?

Obviously it's your money and you could be right for all i know but that does seem like you were investing blindly into just something.
2103  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitnity.com - a community-driven gambling platform on: March 23, 2023, 08:37:49 PM
It's already over a month since they have posted the thread, I think that's already enough time for some of the games to be created and opened but you might be right they have a lack of funds to be able to hire a dev for it because they are also looking for investors of their site. There is still a dice game there.

As of now this was only their hope to gather more funds if ever there are less or no people who are interested to do a partnership with them. It may be possible to run the casino in auto pilot mode. This is for them to make post on their other social media platform if they lack or don't have any other staffs for it. The replies/post doesn't always need to be consistent but as long it has a sign of life, I think it's already fine.
I am out. Dev hasn't said a word for 2 weeks now even in discord. And obviously he/she hasn't even logged in since there are only spam bots messaging. If this is not over it's a some sort of side hobby project of OP and no serious investor would touch something without any pr skills.

Other thing is that i just checked their bounty and distribution should be today as this is the end of 2 weeks that they promised for distribution. I would be very surprised if they suddenly would come online for that and there's not enough liquidity to take the bounty dumpers anyway.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is FTX going for a reopen? on: March 22, 2023, 11:19:20 PM
In my opinion, is possible since I hear the news that Alameda Research has a lock token in dozen of projects if the bull run maybe they can unlock and sell it to recover the losses. but the question is? are they will gain the trust of people after what happened?

and FTX made crypto looks bad and the entire of Cex too
Maybe with hardcore fans that liked the site are going to let the past slide and see the site stronger then ever. Rest of us are saying no way. Brand is tainted and not going back unless someone in wallstreet bets makes this gamestop 2.0 case and starts to buy and short squeeze whales. But i find that unlikely and that would most likely only affect the token price.
Even FTX usa section is affected by this.
2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: usdt-trc20 wallet anonymus, without KYC. Possible ? on: March 22, 2023, 11:10:51 PM
Hi

I looking usdt-trc20 wallet anonymus, so without KYC.   Possible?
thanks.
There are no anonymous wallets in any blockchain for usdt. You have to settle for pseudonymity and hope that's enough. For most people it is, but at least when you try to cash out your cryptos you need KYC and most likely if the sum is large enough, you need to provide info how you got that money. I am not talking about hundreds of dollars but significant amounts. So just be prepared for that.
2106  Economy / Economics / Re: Florida Governor DeSantis calls for CBDC ban on: March 22, 2023, 10:44:50 PM
-cut-
I can understand why Desantis is against CBDC because Biden is in favor of CBDC and elections are coming in 2024
-cut-
This is pretty much the only reason. But their bill doesn't make much sense.
Trying to ban tech that doesn't exist yet is just moronic. They don't have any idea how does it even going to work, so using government surveillance as a reason is quite much. It could have ZK smart contracts for all we know. And acting like government couldn't track your bank accounts right now and acting like you are not part of FATF and have been committed to AML all along seems like he is trusting his supporters are stupid enough not to see that.

It's like someone trying to ban visa before visa was a thing.
2107  Economy / Economics / Re: Always Have a financial record in whatever business you own on: March 22, 2023, 10:35:36 PM
-cut-
There are many more benefits of keeping financial records and I know it's not the most exciting part of your business but it is essential to your business. It doesn't matter how small your business is, be it, laundry, hair salon, boutique, online store, etc, always keep financial records.
-cut-
You are speaking sense, people seem to think it's hard work but with spreadsheets it really isn't. And there are only upsides of keeping records of everything. It keeps your mind clear too as you don't have to think about any of those numbers after you have marked it down. Just remember to organize/label everything so that it's easy to approach afterwards when you have totally forgotten what your markings are. That's why clear notes with every transaction is a good thing. You never know when you need to dig your history up and who reads it.

If someone doesn't know how to use spreadsheets efficiently, it's worth learning.
2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: March 22, 2023, 10:11:45 PM
I stumbled upon this thread on Twitter talking about the emergence of islamiccoin. In the history of altcoins, I wonder who would try to create a religious coin and with what motive?
What happens when other religions and political offices and even other sections of power launch their own coins?
I know most already exist, is this move more to empower followers of such beliefs with a future proof and profitable financial instrument and should be encouraged or will this cause an even further divide with evolutionary complications?
Uganda is one of the nations who has embraced this development and is championing the cause to help their Muslim community redefine themselves through entrepreneurship and investment in both cryptocurrency.

Quote
If 3-4% of the Muslim online community will hold Islamic Coin, it will become a bitcoin-scale crypto asset!

What are your thoughts? Let's discuss!
Stupid idea but i get why they are doing it. Getting a community in crypto space is hard and hijacking existing non-crypto community behind your cryptocurrency seems like logical step if you don't understand cryptocurrencies. I guess community tokens or coins always have some holders, but they are mostly annoying to most of the members of that community that they are trying to hijack.

Because just because someone makes a crypto, let's say about delivery industry workers, to unite them, most of the delivery industry workers see that as a money grab that doesn't represent them in any way. Just because i make the coin it doesn't make me any kind of spokesperson of that community.
2109  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: March 22, 2023, 10:00:53 PM
I am pretty sure he/she means that this has been talked over and over from time to time and most of us seem to understand that even if that would be possible, listing is not the right move because the costs are more then benefits. There are several points that have been mentioned for and against in this thread.
But isn't registering there actually getting bigger profits in the future because this is a pretty good idea for the long term even though it does require a lot of money but I'm always sure that a good development will definitely require more money and time not a snap.
What makes you believe they won't benefit because the costs outweigh the benefits?
Pros and cons or differences of opinion in this thread will always exist because it is a natural thing where everyone must have their own way of thinking which is considered the most correct and appropriate so that whatever happens if for the sake of progress and development it must be done.
Not only team would need to give ton of bfg tokens and money to binance that they can use for marketing, it would most likely get delisted soon after because as we see, there's no interest in the markets. Listing on binance wouldn't bring this to life, there are lots of tokens that binance didnt help keep alive.

And we don't have enough liquidity or volume so that Binance would be interested, and listing potential securities like BFG to binance in the middle of their sec fight would just be stupid move from them. They have heat already and they would be pushing it by listing borderline securities or obvious cases.
2110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 22, 2023, 09:49:38 PM
Well accepting a form of fiat money that maybe exist in the future is just preparing for the future.
Working and adopted version of CBDC doesn't exist yet and they are already thinking of banning whole concept in USA.
Now if there would be zero knowledge based CBDC they wouldn't need to do that but i don't think those people are educated enough to understand why.

But accepting fiat money distributed via new tech isn't really news imho. We don't yet even know what that tech is going to be.
2111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: March 22, 2023, 09:39:35 PM
It wouldn't happen in a day, but if that would happen, it would mean something catastrophic had happen and no crypto would survive it.
As bitcoin is a shining example of unstoppable cryptocurrency and that could be crashed to the ground, others would follow. Because if bitcoin couln't survive, i can't imagine why others would.
Hell others crash 70 - 90% when bitcoin drops 50%, some of them even die because of the panic.
2112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: March 22, 2023, 09:33:40 PM
I am wondering what the fate of projects like Volt inu, Baby Doge and other meme coins would have been if Elon Musk never supported Doge coin, would Shiba inu ever made it to top 20? What would have happen to meme coins? Will there ever be any if Elon never existed?
ALL of them? There are like thousands new in a month or more that die immediately.
Some of them survive because people trade anything so why not memes. Best thing about them is that they don't need tech to survive. Just hype and community.

And they are not pretending like buyers were in it for the tech, so in that way they are more honest them most of the snake oil salesman who sell blockchain as a solution when you don't need a blockchain.
2113  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: March 21, 2023, 11:58:50 PM
right, the news about BFG listing on binance is old news and many are speculating that one of them is the potential for a bubble or (maybe) the obstacle to listing BFG on Binance is due to the cost or conditions for it which still require careful consideration from the betfury developer.  Sometimes i like to play slots at Betfury and Betfury always holds interesting events, which are sure to be a loss if we miss them (that event)
Why are you talking about listing BFG on Binance?
Or I did not understand what you wanted to say?

I specifically looked at Coinmarketcap now and did not see there that the BFG token began to be traded on Binance.  I was very surprised that someone had already figured out that such a listing on Binance had already been implemented.  Moreover, I said earlier in the topic that for BFG trading, those trading platforms that are now listed in the CMC are enough.
Moreover, I believe that the developers of Betfury should not now agree on a listing on Binance.  This will most likely lead to nothing good.
And it costs a lot.  And now all is not well with the Binance exchange itself.  Some troubles with USA regulators at Binance are taking place now.
You shouldn't forget this.
I am pretty sure he/she means that this has been talked over and over from time to time and most of us seem to understand that even if that would be possible, listing is not the right move because the costs are more then benefits. There are several points that have been mentioned for and against in this thread.
2114  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 21, 2023, 07:01:28 PM
Because the original goal is to have fun, so if you lose, you won't be too disappointed. I don't deny that winning will make me happier, but if I had that initial goal in the beginning then I wouldn't get pleasure from losing.
It comes back to each of us, looking for a high RTP is also not a problem, because maybe a high RTP will make us win in the end. But for me personally the RTP is not always the main thing, I just play where I want, even though in terms of RTP it is very low.
Good answer. I am not playing top rtp games. I rather chase for jackpots as the idea of getting huge win with small amount is way more satisfying then slowly grinding high rtp slots.

Imho the big wins and fun is why i am here. Big wins and fun comes from slots and just fun for betting. Unless i am betting combo bets, which i rarely do anymore. It's just too much to track for my taste. I want to be there real time to see when the winning happens.
2115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth could perform better due to deflationary on: March 21, 2023, 06:55:31 PM
Can Ethereum surge past Bitcoin in this upcoming Bull Market? The supply has dropped a lot and it's no more inflationary, I think with this, Ethereum will make a new all-time high we have never seen before, do you think I am wrong?
Nothing is off limits but i have hard time trusting that ETH would get higher marketcap than bitcoin. It will be having new ATH, that's for sure.
But people have been predicting that it would flip bitcoin and be nr1 in marketcap since eth started and every time it ends in the bear market and huge drop in eth price.
I would definitely welcome it to nr1 place but not before it has scaled and fees are fraction of the current fees.
2116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people promote gambling sites . on: March 21, 2023, 06:50:36 PM
,
-cut-
so why many people promote gambling sites by telling the new people that, you will get bonuses (without telling them the terms and conditions) and this is very easy to make money out of gambling, some youtuber tell that, see how i make 3x 4x you can also make profits like i did, just go down their is link in description from there you can get bonuses and you also able to 2x 3x 4x your money)

-cut-
When someone trusts the site, uses the site and benefits from referrals, why in the earth shouldn't they promote it? I recon people are better off using reliable casinos and i see nothing wrong with promoting one. And why would it be promoter's job to list the terms and conditions?

It's usually long list and you can read it on the website. Just saying it out loud takes ton of time in the video or ton of room at the forum. It's literally a requirement that you read and accept Terms of Service before using the site so why are we assuming the user won't be reading it?
2117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arbitrum Hype on: March 21, 2023, 06:10:59 PM
I am hyped but i want to price drop significally to get in. I don't have enough money to dca with this, at least that amount i am planning to buy. So at the same time i hope the price tanks because of the airdrop sellers and at the same time i am very excited about the whole project. I've been using Arbitrum myself and i can totally see why others would be excited as well.
2118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we build a strong community of supporters for crypto projects ? on: March 21, 2023, 03:55:44 PM

Unlike Bitcoin that created the cryptocurrency world with an unimaginable fan base, most altcoins have to do tons of work to earn all users' trust to flourish, especially for countless new projects. I believe each of you has been supporter to at least one cryptocurrency and know how that relationship works. There must be some appealing ways for crypto community to do to attract more fans. In your experience, what are the most important principles to build a strong community of supporters ? Please share your thoughts and/or methods. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please contact me if you have any question.
Start by creating something ground breaking and new before forming community. Communities form around teams that are building cutting edge tech and have actual working usecases for them. You can't have a strong community without balanced team and vision. Code that's visionary, mindblowing and setting a new standard. That's something people get behind easily. Also marketing right targets and communicating with the community and having a good pr team that signals your vision clearly.

Then there's the fact that there are just not enough people in this space for every medicore project.
2119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Distributed ai model, does anyone have an idea to create one? on: March 21, 2023, 02:49:58 PM
Distributed ai model, does anyone have an idea to create one?
Apparently every token that's ai-themed has some idea so you can go visit their chats and talk with devs.
Not that they would be good ideas enough to justify their project existence but they might have some idea. Personally i see little to no point on that. It would be easier just to buy server time from chatgpt4 or ai service. There's really no justification to make things more bulky by taping blockchain in it.
2120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my lack of knowledge has blinded me so far on: March 20, 2023, 08:49:37 PM
To be honest, i dont understand why some ppl so mad at KYC... and would like to know opinions of who is against that, just to understand an their view.
I have asked this same question. Best answer i got was that sites get hacked and data stolen. Passports and IDs are worth a lot in black market and you really don't want to get your identity stolen. It's time consuming and a difficult road to combat against identity theft.

This all could be avoided with some kind of zero knowledge based identity check where you don't need to provide documents but just prove that you are who you say you are. Sadly that tech isn't really available yet. But it's coming soon for sure.
