I'm looking forward to what Borussia Dortmund will do to keep or even get closer to Bayern Munich. So far I see they are still struggling for it, and even they tend to miss the opportunity that exists to get closer to the leader of the table. Opportunities are still very open to them, as long as they can make the best use of the opportunities that exist.

After being held to a draw by FC Cologne last week Dortmund's chances of winning the league title this season are further than Bayern Munich's, they are six points behind with seven comparisons remaining in the competition.  But in the rest of the games this season, anything can still happen even though Dortmund's chances are very slim because Bayern Munich always looks mighty in every game.
Opportunities are still open but there is no assurance that Dortmund will overtake Bayern even if you give more opportunities. Dortmund are just like that, they don't want to overtake Bayern Munich even when they had opportunities. I know it is not easy to overtake a giant Bayern Munich but Bayern Munich gave them opportunities to do so. I don't have the believe that anything will happen strange I that league. Bayern will win the league and Dortmund I'm second place.

I think Juve in 4th place can also participate in the race for trophies this season. Milan has a bigger chance, which has a point advantage at the moment. but Napoli and 2 other teams will not let Milan get the title easily.
Inter also has one game postponed against Bologna. if Inter can maximize the points in the remaining matches, Inter could return to the top of the standings.

Juventus are very close to this goal, but they are not yet 100% sure.
Behind there is my Atalanta, which could cause trouble and steal the place if Juventus are too wrong.
My beloved Atalanta is very strong, you already know that

The standings on the table might remain like that till the end of the season without a major change. The fixtures that will likely cause a major upset that will give Juventus hope of the title us fixtures like;
Juventus Vs Inter Milan
AC Vs Napoli
Atlanta Vs Inter Milan
I don't know if this kind of fixtures will exist before the end of the league. If it doesn't exist, we should not expect major difference in the table from what we are seeing now.
2123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 27, 2022, 10:44:29 PM

In the upcoming matches, Liverpool will face Watford. Manchester City will face Burnley. My guess is that they will both win the matches. Watford and Burnley are both teams struggling to stay in the league. There may be surprises in every match of these teams. We'll see if they make an impact that will determine the champion.

It is for sure that Liverpool will win Watford,  their is nothing to argue about it , Manchester city will also win Burnley too . Burnley and Watford are not team that can defeat the 2 top  teams in the EPL,  if it should be a team like Tottenham I can say Tottenham maybe lucky to win Manchester City or Liverpool.
Football is not something we should be too sure of. Anything can actually happen, especially towards the end of the season when big clubs will be fighting for the top4, while small clubs will be fighting to run from the relegation zone. Those two clubs(Watford and Burnley) have the capacity to draw any big team at anytime. But it is not happening that way this week. Even if it will happen, it should be to Manchester City not to Liverpool.
2124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 27, 2022, 10:33:20 PM
I feel that one reason for their sudden decline is the uncertainty whether Poch is staying or going, and unless that’s resolved I expect them to suffer few more shock defeats till the end of the season. Lastly PSG needs to trim their squad and only then will they start playing well, because currently their squad is too big and that’s clearly holding them back.
looks like it would be a good choice for PSG. when some of their players who still have very few opportunities to play must be cut off from the squad.
PSG's management is too crazy to spend big money on many star players. they should focus on selecting the best squads and backup squads. those who don't get much of a chance would be better off being let in on the transfers for next season.
Honestly psg has a too big squad. Big names in psg and the big names is like they are bigger than the club or the coach or both put together. When these big names meet they do not deliver what everyone is expecting them to deliver. When you take last season champions league, it was only Neymar that acted as Mbappe was hidden in the match. This year's own, only Mbappe delivered while Neymar and Messi couldn't. This means they only need one strong man and many normal men.

Fiat cannot be trusted but it is also difficult to do completely without the Fiat. Every thing gets affected at some point in time. Even btc faces challenges at hard times. So it is the duty of man to grow with any technology at anytime invented to solve problems. For now btc is the most reliable currency to people that knows about it and trust it. While some people do not trust bitcoin a bit, they casted their hope on the Fiat which they know.
Btc will become the ultimate anytime we can be able to pay for goods, services, jobs etc directly from btc without the fiat.
2126  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: March 27, 2022, 10:02:52 PM

You can't really blame Nigerians for that lack of interest, i do not think it is peculiar to just us by the way, i am pretty sure other countries that aren't early adopters as well have a dearth of miners in their shores, underdevelopment is also a factor here, let us not forget it costs so much to mine Bitcoin right now, and we live in an uncertain society to say the least, were our government can take arbitrary negative decisions at any point in time, in my opinion it is actually going to be somewhat risky for one to invest so much into mining in Nigeria.

    I wish to summarise what you said here in this way. The reasons Nigerians are not involved in mining are;
    • Nigerians are not early adopters of bitcoin, they came when mining became so expensive
    • Overall under-development of the country, which includes poor electricity supply
    • high tendency of government hash decisions on mining
The last point is what every investor compulsorily checks before establishing a firm. Nigerian government can make some non business friendly laws. But when it is crypto, any country can do it. We expected that China will be safe and there was some level of concentration in China, what finally happened is a story. Any government can do anything against crypto at anytime.
2127  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think this competition is fair? Bitcointalk Community Awards 2021 on: March 27, 2022, 09:47:44 PM
I voted and went my way and I remember I recieved some merits for voting.
In my own perception, I thought that the reason for the merit is to encourage PARTICIPATION. But when contestants were the ones giving the merits, it made people to start voting for them. When I looked at the whole thing it made me understand that there are some MERIT SOURCES who do not exhaust their monthly merit allocations, but because of the voting, they were able to exhaust their allocation  Grin it is a good thing that for once they could exhaust their allocation.
The voting should stand because wherever there is an election, there is always a way to influence the voters(that is the politics in elections).

To start with, you are at the right place. This forum can teach you anything you want to know about cryptocurrencies.
    - If you want to know about projects that will last or that will still exist after 5 years, I am only sure of bitcoin. But there is a board called altcoin discussion, it is where projects are discussed. You can visit the board.
    - About how much you can invest, I think you need a financial advisor for that purpose. You know how much you are willing to lose and that is what you should invest.
    -  You don't need to make an investment and leave it for 5 years, you can be monitoring it and when the investment is bad you jump out of it.
2130  Other / Meta / Re: Questions About Acounts Ban Evasion on: March 27, 2022, 08:55:33 PM
About ban evasion, if an account commits plagiarism or other offences that will lead to ban and that account is banned. Then, the user opens another account and rejoin the forum, I think that is what is called ban evasion. Can the admin do it in such a way that any IP address that is banned cannot return to the forum. If the IP address is banned, it will be blocked from rejoining the forum.
But if this IP address is allowed to rejoin the forum by paying an evil fee, that means the user has atone his sin with the evil fee payment, and therefore should not be punished for ban evasion again.

My whole advice to every Nigeria for this coming election wey wan happen for 2023 be say.
2023: Don’t die for dia wars oooh. All politicians be friends. Buhari, Atiku, Tinubu & co are all friends. If you no see that at his son’s wedding, you dey on a long thing.
Be wise and vote rightly in 2023. No go kill and dull yourself for dia matter
Very good advice. But me sure say nothing dey sup, youths no go kill themselves for election. The ones wey go do am na mumu youths. End sars protest don really open youths them eyes for this country.
Secondly, plenty youths both the ones wey wise and the ones wey no wise don join street, and dem dey collect, many of them no go because of peanut money carry gun for those wicked politicians again.
As you talk this thing now, make we try promote the campaign. Dem no create youths create thuggery and then create old men create leadership.
2132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 26, 2022, 11:16:26 PM

in the standings while AC Milan is 3 points ahead of Napoli . Looking at their opponents in the upcoming matches Ac milan / Bologna, Atalanta / Napoli, then in this statistic the AC Milan team is at the advantage because they are playing at home and the Bologna team is in poor form. If Napoli will play Atalanta where Atalanta is a strong team this season I think Napoli will be difficult to get points in this match.

I also noticed this one when Atalanta vs Napoli somehow Milan will take advantage of this match hoping that Napoli lose or draw
We know Atalanta will do their best because they are still fighting for 4th place especially Atalanta play at home of course they don't want to lose in front of their own supporters , worst thing that can happen might be a draw not los.
That very draw between Napoli  and Atlanta is a challenge to Napoli. Though Altlanta is out of the top four but they will be very much hopefully if they can win Napoli. I do not see Napoli winning them easily (I don't mean that it is not possible for Napoli to win).  They can battle for much and at the end of the day, both will go home with a point. If this happens Ac Milan and Inter Milan could be the only contenders in the competition. One thing I am happy about is that the league will be competitive till the end.
2133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 26, 2022, 11:11:54 PM
I don't see any chance for Dortmund to be honest. They never make me excited as they just keep the same gap with Bayern Munich all the time. No team can achieve even one title unless they are very lucky for that season. And against a team like Bayern Munich you would be in a bigger trouble too. And it seems like Bayern Munich are going to win the Bundesliga title one more time and maintain the streak. This started to be annoying much time ago but still there is no change.
Very annoying buddy. If it is happening in the France ligue 1, we could say that only Psg has a good team and quality players that is why they keep dominating.  Atleast, Dormund is a big team and has some good players and don't really understand why Bayern Munich has actually given them many opportunities to overtake for 5weeks now but they keep playing around the table. It is really annoying. The remaining value they have is that Haaland, if that guy is able to leave Dortmund this season and they don't sit up, they'll become like every other average club in Dutch.
    2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 26, 2022, 11:00:26 PM
I'm curious about one thing the most. And that is how far Real Madrid will make it in this season of the Champions League. After they destroyed PSG in a really tough game, they must be very motivated to win the title too. And on this road, their current target in the quarter finals is Chelsea. Chelsea are a completely different team compared to PSG now. They are one of the teams that should never be underestimated. And they showed how they were capable in this tournament last season. But as long as Real Madrid fight by showing their best performance, they would still move them out of their way.
Chelsea undoubtedly is a very formidable team since the arrival of Tuchel. Before now, Chelsea has a record of doing well in Champions league even when they don't have strong team. Like the champions league that Drogba, Remirez and Torres were formidable in. Real Madrid in the other hand is a team that has champions league experience and has lifted the most champions league. I would have underrated them, but for the fact that eliminated psg, I will not underrate them, but thier talisman Benzema should be present in the match to give great hope.
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 26, 2022, 10:54:56 PM
There is a tough game ahead for Barcelona. They are going to play a game in Camp Nou against Sevilla. And this is a crucial game to decide the second team in the standings after it ends. To tell the truth, Barcelona are very near capturing this place from Sevilla. It is only one victory away from them and I believe they will get it in this game. But Sevilla might resist well so it might be a win by one-goal gap too. But the only thing Barcelona need is a win without looking at how big the goal gap is. This will make them the second.
I can say that Barcelona being in the list to contend for second position is a big mystery in football. When this season laliga started who would have thought that Barcelona will be here? I am already grateful to Xavi and Barcelona whether they enter second position or not. Speaking about the match, I don't think it will be easy for Barcelona because Sevilla is already out of europa league and as such don't have any difficult competition again. They will put in their best. Maybe a draw can settle the teams.
2136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 26, 2022, 10:50:39 PM
The Premier League is all about competition. This is the biggest league in Europe and it owes this to its being competitive a lot. And I also am wondering about the fourth place competition as much as the title one. Because there are four teams fighting for it seriously now. They are Arsenal (which are holding the place right now), Tottenham, Manchester United and West Ham. The weakest one among them seems to be West Ham these days. But they are not that weak either. And my favourite in this is Arsenal.
Apart from the competitiveness of English Premier League, there are other factors which differential epl from other leagues, such as the viewing authorities. In England all the clubs recieve good money for every season they play irrespective of their positions in the league. This is unlike other leagues where only first, second and third positions are rewarded.
For the competition for top 4, Arsenal is the favourite.

I guess were all hopeful that we'd gain tremendously again like we did in the last bull run. Hope it will not take years for the token to fly again. It be disappointing that I spend 30% of my entire funds to Shib 😁
And some will rejoice and some will cry. The last bull run actually ran on me. I never wanted to join the market, I was very skeptical to join the market, but as the hype and hit kept going on, I was persuaded to enter the market and I entered in a wrong position and I was caught up. Shiba really dumped on me and I was a way disappointed. I have been hodling since the last bull run and my portfolio is about 80% gone already. I'll leave it and see if it can actually return to profit in this very life Grin
2139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend crypto? If yes, for what? on: March 22, 2022, 03:20:55 PM
Here's a question to the audience. Do you actually buy stuff with crypto, like services or goods? If yes, what kind?

I've recently got a Binance card to play around with and use it to pay for everyday expenses. Works pretty well.
I want to believe the real purpose of this topic is to know the level of adoption or usage of crypto by the people in this forum. If it is so, it is actually a nice attempt. Before now, all I do is to convert crypto to fiat if I want to get goods or services. But recently I have started using crypto to make some purchases. I used crypto to pay for my vpn service, I use crypto to pay for Web services and I use crypto for casino gambling. This has made me limit how I convert crypto to fiat as I now see places I can spend my crypto.

    • Post length doesn't matter to determine if it's spam.
I am happy to see this. I have debated this with someone here in the forum, when discussing what a shit post and a spam actually is. Spamming is concerned mainly with the essence of a particular message to the receiver not the sender. A post can be well constructed and quality of about 500 characters, but if the purpose does not fit, it is a spam. For instance, in this topic, someone drops addresses for Ukraine crypto fund and wrote about the importance of supporting Ukraine at this critical time. No matter how relevant the post might be, in this thread it could be regarded as a spam. Spamming is synonymous to off topic, while spaming might be targeting large number of people, off topic can be a particular post.
