Hey guys, I know images are not allowed in signatures, but what about SVG?
Quality of signatures would for sure be much better with vector graphics, but I am not sure if I ever saw a forum that has svg signatures, and I am not sure we even need that. I think that theymos is trying to reduce all the risks and I don't expect to see any changes with signatures, at least not with current forum software. You an get very good signatures for your business even now, if you pick a good designer. I have taught of why signature designers doesn't use SVG to achieve fine and scalable designs. But I didn't attribute it to risk of vulnerabilities or maliciousness. I just concluded that signature space is not that much, only the vector codes will occupy the majority space of the signature space. I couldn't remember that Theymos can increase the signature space, then the whole system can be loading slowly. I believe Theymos doesn't want to include anything that will not benefit the forum, it's not worth risking. |

Rather than waiting patiently, can Theymos or the other moderators or admins you mentioned, tell us the criteria for having a local board. If you meet the criteria, we will be expectant and if we don't meet the criteria, we'll keep mute and work hard to meet the said criteria. The title you gave this topic is inducing confusion in the main body of the topic. I said this because, in a pump and dump scheme, when the market dumps on you, you might not recover until the coin goes into extinction.

I have red in this forum so many times where people say regulation of bitcoin will increase the adoption of bitcoin and make it more stable. I laugh, though those funny comments come from newbies that doesn't understand what is at stake.
If the government will be able to regulate one part of crypto, other parts will bleed.
In my secondary school, I was thought a method of taxation called PAYE - Pay As You Earn. The question is, has government started paying her workers or civil servants with cryptocurrency and they are avoiding to pay tax? If no, what will then warrant the government to make individuals hand their keys in order to disclose how much an individual owns?.

How do you determine that they provided a wrong information? Do you have any information already that you will compare to? People are saying check the whitepaper as if we are not aware that anyone can hire an expert in whitepaper writing and he will write an excellent and fictional whitepaper to deceive the community. Investing in any coin that is not bitcoin and it is not known altcoins like Ethereum and BNB is taking a risk. To earn merit in this forum is not as difficult as to earn activity.
If I want to increase my merit counts, I actually know the kinds of posts to make that will earn me some merits.
I don't just understand how merit will be some kind of problem to some people and they will not earn it.
The best thing is to forget about the merit and do what brings about the merit.
