2321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 01, 2022, 01:14:34 PM
It is a great week for Juventus. Because there is an Inter v Milan match this week and Juventus have a chance to drop the point gap with Milan now. I say this because I think that Milan have a really tough job to do now. Inter are the leader in the end and they have a long running unbeaten streak too. Juventus' match is against Verona home. Verona are in the middle of the standings right now but they are not a very easy team to defeat also. Juventus should play cautiously against them to be able to win. And I think they will win this match. I wonder Vlahovic's performance in that match the most.
The only way that Juventus will have good chances is if Inter losses. But I do not believe Juventus will win the title, but they can enter the top 4. Atlanta is a better way that cool than Juventus in the race. Atlanta is ahead of Juventus and yet has one match short than the rest.
However all the five clubs has great chances; that is Inter Milan, Ac Milan, Napoli, Atlanta and Juventus
2322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 01, 2022, 11:19:02 AM
I don't see that Barcelona have signed Aubameyang officially yet. But it looks like that they have reached an agreement with Arsenal verbally to sign him on a 6-month loan deal. I would expect Barcelona to sign him permanently but maybe they would put a buying option on the contract to think of signing him permanently in case they are contented with his performance. I would really like to see Aubameyang being very productive like in the old times again. Maybe he can do this at Barcelona.

barcelona should look for someone else, if they could hire players who score a lot of goals, then their problems would already be solved, of course they also have serious defensive problems because even when they are winning they concede goals and the game ends in a draw.

does anyone here believe that Aubameyang would make barcelona a team that would have no problems in attack?

Aubameyang to my knowledge will not create much needed positive energy for barcelona. Barcelona even have better finishers like Dembele, not to talk of Deepay that is very strong, skillful and determined. Whether loan or permanent  deal, Aubameyang may not deliver.
Meanwhile, is there anything like verbal contract or signing. How has barcelona improved based on their financial challenges? Do they have any restrictions in signing players?
2323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 01, 2022, 10:38:45 AM
Another thing I wonder about is whether Lewandowski will leave Bayern Munich this summer. Because we already heard so many rumours in the last summer like he would terminate his contract with his team to look for new adventures. Real Madrid were interested in signing him then but this didn't happen. Because Lewandowski wasn't intending to leave the team yet. He wanted to play one more season here at least. But Lewandowski's contract ends on June 2023. Therefore, he might not want to extend his contract and would like to play at a different team by the end of this season. But I'm not sure about the Real Madrid thing. Because they are already targeting Mbappe and Haaland. I guess that they wouldn't go for Lewandowski if they sign these two players this summer.
Lewandowski has proven his worth in Bayern Munich and as well as in the German league as a whole. He has been consistent for sometime and will like to go and prove himself in order leagues. If he can go to Real Madrid, it will be a very good advantage to him because he will won many individual and club awards.
Considering Mbappe and Haaland move. I believe Real Madrid at any time will choose Lewandowski above the two star players.
Unless they will consider the age of the young stars for a longterm business.
2324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Semi Finals. on: February 01, 2022, 08:31:43 AM
I think Senegal will play Egypt in the final... Cameroon are certainly playing well this season, but I don't think they will beat Egypt in the semi-finals! By the way the odds of Egypt winning against Cameroon are very good! Well and the winner of the cup i see Senegal, in my opinion they play much better than others...
I will like to see Mane and salah play against each other from country side. The people of Liverpool are missing their combination. AFCON has improved very well. The type of football they are playing this time is very coordinated and presentable. Meanwhile Egypt that Nigeria defeated are now going to finals. This year AFCON is not fair with Nigeria, despite that they came with talented players and a good coach.
2325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 01, 2022, 07:53:35 AM
I actually agree with the people who think that Liverpool can still do well without Mane and Salah in the Leicester game ahead of them in the PL. Because we watched Liverpool play like this against Arsenal in the EFL Cup rematch. And we saw how great they dominated the game and won it. So, I think that Liverpool's current attacking line is still quite solid and they can defeat Leicester in Anfield. Maybe it might be a more difficult win but they can. Because I really don't like Leicester's defense as I see it as quite weak.
Bet only 10% for Leicester which means they have a mission impossible on Anfield. but in the last meet, Leicester has a winning by Ademola's goal and in Carabao event, Leicester almost won the match if in the case Minamino didn't create a goal in injury time and winning 5-4 in pinalty shoot. In the next 2 weeks, even though Liverpool has a favorite, Leicester possibly will make a surprise to draw or win with a tight different goal.

I really think that Liverpool should win this match and beat Leicester City. Leicester city has got their work cut out here. They would have to really perform well to win against Liverpool. Leicester City did beat Liverpool in the last match they played against each other and I think Liverpool will be really eager to get the revenge. And will also be keen to hold onto their winning streak.
Liecester is a team that has a fighting spirit in English Premier League. But as it is now they are not fighting for topic, they are not fighting for europa and finally they are not fighting to escape relagation. That is to say that they will not fight like wounded lions.
But in the other side, Liverpool still has good chances to hold the EPL title. They will need to fight well even without Mane and Salah.

2327  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock-to-Flow Model: Modeling Bitcoin's Value with Scarcity on: January 31, 2022, 10:06:35 PM

Of course, demand is a factor.. and whether stock to flow is presuming ongoing demand (so treating it as a constant) or just assuming that it is going to continue at some kind of level that it need NOT need to be accounted for.. because it is likely to just continue to go up along with the growth of bitcoin's adoption...
The stock to flow model I think depended on assumptions in terms of demand consideration. It could not have assume that demand is constant. The demand and supply has so much influence on any market that is to be traded. Some models uses the artificial demand that will be created by the assumptions of the model to predict.
Quote
If you know some of the story behind PlanB's attempt to look at bitcoin through a stocktoflow model, it had already been applied with various other kinds of assets with varying degrees of success - so surely it should not be considered as any kind of model that will fit very well with all assets, but surely does seem to fit with bitcoin quite well
Hardly there is any model that works 100 percent on all models. Stock to flow model is not perfect but it has giving good idea on how to follow bitcoin market. Bitcoin is still in the early stage and it is still changing, so it can be proving some models wrong with time.

In the award there is Miss Bitcointalk.
Why is there no Mr. Bitcointalk?
Or is any of the award titles an equivalent to Mr Bitcointalk?

2332  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock-to-Flow Model: Modeling Bitcoin's Value with Scarcity on: January 28, 2022, 09:04:10 AM
This topic is very helpful to me. I open all the attached documents and read them well. This topic has answered by question. Though people answered it before, but I got much clarification here. My question -
Quote from: Uchegod-21
Question one- Volatility question:
I understand that bitcoin volatility is caused by demand and supply. Then, there is fixed 21million supply, if the 21million bitcoin is mined, will it make bitcoin price to be stable? Because there will be no more demand, there will be no more supply. The bitcoin in circulation will keep circulating.
PlanB explanation below and the more link, gave me an extended answer.
Quote
PlanB: Yeah, that’s also a discussion on Twitter, lots of questions about exactly this infinite value if you wish. If you follow the table, we could go all the way to 2140 when the flow is zero, when there’s no more new bitcoins, only fees. And the theoretical value how to Stock-to-Flow model would be infinite. So how can that be? And basically I think this is a very theoretical argument
Again, saying about the fixed supply of bitcoin at 21million. I am predicting that there will be a major hard fork after 2140. It is all about consensus, there will be glaring need for it. So many miners who accumulated huge amount of btc from early mining will always say no to any hardfork, but in years coming, when they must have spend their btc, they will agree to change the protocol and create more bitcoin.
Quote
PlanB: You cannot change the money supply or change that magic 21 million coins number, and if you do you’re basically hard-forking away from Bitcoin. And, yeah, I guess nobody will follow you. A bit like Bitcoin Cash with the big blocks. Yeah, but you can do it, but don’t expect people to follow you

Again, it was said in the article that Ripple and other altcoins that doesn't use PoW do not have security.
Quote
So for example, Ripple again has no proof-of-work or Bitcoin Cash has almost no hash rate, so no security.
If actually they do not have security, why are they existing till now, there should have been major hack or the network cheated to death.

So, for S2F model. It was stated that it is not a law, it is just like a model which is a semi hypothesis. There will be deviation at a point and there will be modifications. But S2F has helped many become successful in bitcoin.

More results will be coming, some images are too big and covers the whole page. How about if OP add a rule that image height should be made 200 or less and the screenshot should be cropped or snipped to show just the score and not the whole stuff on the page.

You don't ask bankers about bitcoin usage right? The outside people who doesn't know anything about the bitcointalk forum will talk absolute shit about it but in the end if you have not yourself used to it then listening to the talks from them is preety useless..
Many of the people outside the forum does not know much about the forum. They write anything they like as long as they have litte knowledge.
But I have seen some that know very much about the forum. I suspect that it is people that are in the forum or have being in the forum that wrote those ones.
