Although, it's quite kinda difficult to be conversant with all the forum rules since they are not documented in a single thread.

As I always say, this forum doesn't have strick rules, infact this forum doesn't have rules. It is one of the forum with 100% liberty. And everyone is ready to help one another. If you are honest in the real life, you will not have any problems in this forum.

Cheating: It is not acceptable in any sane society to cheat. When there is an open campaign, people will be struggling to get in and one person will fit 2 to 3 of his alt in same account. It is naturally bad, and an honest person will not do it.
Plagiarism: It is not acceptable in academics and the enlarge society to thief someone's intellectual  property and pass them as yours. You see that it is not peculiar to only this forum.
Spamming: No forum and even social media welcomes spamming. In order to promote healthy conversation, spamming is frowned at.

An honest person can stay as long as you can think in this forum without running into problems.
1742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Short story] How do I use bitcoin as a means of payment! on: June 26, 2022, 10:19:22 AM
Don't get upset OP,  but tbh, your story is not coherent in any way. There is no single relationship between the title of the topic and the body. And there is no conclusion that connects with the introduction.  The title is a question of how to use bitcoin as a means of payment, while the body is explaining how you have already made the payment.
Then if the land seller is a bitcoin personality as you said, why advising him to convert the bitcoin to stable coin? He should be aware of what to do with it.
Well, since your topic said of how you bought land with bitcoin, congratulations for using bitcoin to make a purchase.
1743  Other / Meta / Re: Spamming way of creating threads on: June 26, 2022, 10:03:14 AM

This is how newbies try to fish some merits because they think once they open up a topic many members will give some merits to the topic they open up here. So for this its better to report it to moderator for them to asses this kind of action they made.

This unusual way but really possible. Most newbie that do merit bait are targetting beginner's and help section and post there tips and experience. I'm not a fan of Politics board but that's the board that has low chance for you to get some merit especially if you are just starting a copy paste news or political topics

You are right. The problem of the spammer discussed here is not merit. Though I am not a fan of politics and society board. But that's not a board that gives out many merits. The first time I visited that board I understood that it was too vast. Infact some topics that ought to be off topic makes P&S board their aboard. It is just the posts of the old members of this forum that keeps the board valuable till date.

he might be just fishing merit or starting new thread for his alt account have a post quota.

Can you explain to me how creating numerous topics in one account will give the alt account post quota?
Meanwhile, if it's about this topic, the spammer was promoting his off forum site and that is why he doesn't forget to link all his topics to the website
1744  Other / Meta / Re: Enforce “grammarly ” like score minimum to post.. on: June 25, 2022, 11:37:11 PM

Could also help users LEARN English better/faster by forcing them to put effort into correcting their writing.

Remember that the purpose of this group is not to learn English and be pro in it. There are millions of people in this group who do not understand English and they are fine in this group. That is why I appreciate the existence of local boards.

I know how it feels if you are a native speaker of English and see how others murder the language. But if I were an English guy and see people struggling to make simple sentences, I will be happy and helpful to them, because it's not easy to learn a new language.

In as much as communication can flow, English grammar is not the most important thing. Then, anyone can develop personally without being coerced to do so.
I remember when I started here, my English was not good and yet was not so bad. I made a post and I was told to download and use grammaly. I took it upon myself and did so. I used grammaly for majority of my works in this forum. But today I can type, vet and post without grammaly.
1745  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is monero the only recommended privacy coin on this forum? on: June 25, 2022, 11:22:55 PM
Monero is always the first to mention when privacy and total privacy I needed. Some acclaimed privacy coins are proven not to be as private as they claim or they have optional privacy settings, which cannot be considered to be a totally private coin. Unlike Monero which is arguably the oldest privacy coin. In two years time, it will clock a decade. So, it has been tested overtime since it's protocol is purely open source.
Another big factor is that Satoshi is indirectly linked to Monero, so that Satoshi vibe is still there.

After making some research about Monero, I began to wonder why it's adoption isn't expanding much. This coin has the potential to excel and last as long as bitcoin can last. Well, maybe its time is not come yet, so many are not interested about their privacy yet.
1746  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: List of interesting Bitcoin statistics on: June 25, 2022, 11:04:09 PM
What a great job I have seen here. You must have put great efforts to put this beautiful piece together. I have been seeing the graph that represented bitcoin from far back 2010, it is great. And to be very frank, there is no rocket science in bitcoin, an there is absolutely nothing new that is happening in bitcoin. Everything is represented in the graph. A careful study of the graphs should give everyone (especially newbies) the reassurance that bitcoin is safe amidst this bearish market.
Charts never lies! No wonder good traders who know about chart keep winning and the majority that try their luck keep loosing.

Thanks 1miau, strong hands hardly create threads, but when they do, it carries alot of value. Lesson learnt.
1747  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Digital & Cryptocurrency are they same ? on: June 25, 2022, 10:46:06 PM
There is no big deal in trying to make a pronounced difference between cryptocurrency and digital currency. You are free to use it interchangeably. You should only stress yourself if you are coming from a technical angle.
When you say digit, cryptocurrency uses digit and so it can be called a digital currency.
CBDCs are digital currencies too. So currency that enables you make payments or purchase something without presenting a physical cash is a digital currency.
So, both what you have in mind as digital currency and cryptocurrency are all digital currencies.

So, technically the difference should be that while cryptocurrency is a digital currency, but it is a type of digital currency that uses cryptography to confirm, save and implement transactions.

I am happy to see my name at the top here. It feels good to discuss bitcoin with people of your country, culture and even religion. The understanding is deeper when with locals. The presence of local boards is a very great advantage bitcointalk.org has over other online Bitcoin groups.

With the monthly statistics, it's obvious that the activities of Nigeria locals is increasing significantly. Let's keep the music playing and I believe one day our local pinned thread would become local board.

1752  Economy / Gambling / Re: 7Slotz.io - Fair Crypto Casino on: June 22, 2022, 04:55:59 PM
I guess am going to play the demo version to master the games and get familiar with the site before I start a real account, is so good to see you have so much exciting features and games and also have multiple payment options hope there will not be KYC requirements.
The gambling industry is a fast-growing industry that has many competitors that try to offer players bonuses and offers flexible services hope to see you build your reputation and community base in the future.
Getting used to playing using the demo version will help us learn what's on the site and once we are familiar with everything, we can deposit some money to get started with a real account. But please remember, once we deposit money, we must be careful using it because otherwise, we will lose all the money in no time. I also hope there is no KYC requirement on the site so that we don't have to submit documents just to gamble. Maybe someday, the site will use signature campaigns as a tool to promote and attract more members.
Not to mention much, I have seen where things went very well on demo accounts but the real experience will say otherwise. As funny as it may sound, it's real. The only genuine thing about the demo version is that it helps gamblers to familiarise with the site condition and functionality.  Though it's a great feature needed in every casino to help newbies familiarise with the site.

The issue of signature campaign is necessary to enhance publicity for any start up in the company. If they actually have fund for it, they will have to consider it
1753  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 22, 2022, 04:01:28 PM
I believe that the reasons for KYC is not only to determine the country one is playing from. Whether it is restricted or not. Some people access these casinos through vpn or Tor browser. But if you use this method and win big, and by mistake some of these casinos understand that your country is restricted, they will capitalization there and deny you payment.

Another reason for KYC might be to regulate multiple account opening as opposed to the rule of casino . So any company that doesn't apply kyc may find it difficult to regulate some certain conditions. Yet some say they use kyc to determine the age of the gamblers. All things together, yet there are companies that doesn't apply kyc.
1754  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name Vs Site Functionality? Or Both? on: June 21, 2022, 05:05:07 PM
Both brand name and site functionality are very essential for casino site. But in terms of priority, the functionality is more important than the brand name. No matter how bad or poor a brand name is, it can be managed and logged into by people. So, it can be manageable.
But a site which allows people to deposit and not withdraw is a disaster. Nobody will like to visit it twice.  But if you don't have great brand name and good functionality someone might visit again, besides what I want is winning and not any brand beauty.

In conclusion, it's cool to have good functionality and brand name put together. Because what is worth doing, is worth doing well.
1755  Economy / Gambling / Re: hello Players!! on: June 21, 2022, 04:51:08 PM
Try and work on the appearance of the site. It is not looking pleasant and attractive. The choice of font colours and font should be reconsider. You can try using open sans in majority of the work to make it readable. Then try to reduce the brightness of the colors, they are to bright for the eyes.
If it is possible avoid black colors, grey color with the right rgb will do the function of the black.
Also pay attention to the UI design, make it appealing and attractive.

I dropped my review based on the appearance of the site, I didn't try to use any features of the site. I know first things first, and first impression matters. Hoping to see you make huge changes and return better to serve the community.

1757  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Less FOMO more Buying on: June 19, 2022, 08:07:41 PM
Bitcoin can never become too expensive if you can still be able to buy $50, even if bitcoin is worth $1 million, it is never too expensive as you do not need to buy a whole 1 BTC.

Bitcoin can never become too expensive but the concern is how many Bitcoin or bits of Bitcoin (sat) will you get for a particular amount of fiat you invested. If I buy now with a particular amount of fiat and you buy later when Bitcoin returns to $50k and above, you will still get Bitcoin but lesser number of it. So it's not ended in holding Bitcoin, the problem is how many fractions are you holding and it also determines how long you need to wait.

Early adopters are safe and as it stands now, Bitcoin wants to make us early adopters again. The opportunity is right here again.

1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 19, 2022, 07:44:35 PM
Yes, he will and Yes it was all about the money.
Honestly I respect his decision even if it was 100% about money. Whether you treat everyone the same whether you have to accept the underpaid guys to leave.
I can't work in a place where I am working hard and get paid half what the others receiving.. It is unfair.
If we take it from another perspective, AFAIK Mane is doing many charity actions in his native village, not sure how accurate that was but to say that he isn't "hungry" about the money.
Mane is not a money hungry player, he is one of the most generous football players, a lot of his money is spent on charity. The reason Mane moved from Liverpool was not because his salary was small, as long as Mane in Liverpool uniform has never been included in the list of the top three Ballon d'Or. Mane wants to find a new adventure to achieve his ambition to win the Ballon d'Or. Bayern Munich really dominates the Bundesliga, it's difficult for RB Leipzig and Dortmund to break Munich dominance, this Bundesliga giant is also successful in Europe. Mane can realize his ambition with Munich.

There is a captain in the ship called Liverpool, who is known as Salah. Mane cannot be another captain. He must have to work for Salah at any point in time. The problem is not that he is working so hard for the club alone, he also doesn't receive  cool salary.
You cannot be starving him of recognition and also good pay. He should also have misunderstanding with his African brother, so he should look for another part to toe and we are very happy with the development.
1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 19, 2022, 07:37:28 PM
The general consensus is that Marcus Rashford is a left winger and Rashford himself says that's where he prefers to play, and he hasn't developed under Ralf.
Rashford is a very talented player and I hope that Erik ten Hag can bring him back to life and understand the wishes of all Manchester United players, and besides that Manchester United desperately needs a striker who has the same talent as Ronaldo, so that Ronaldo always has a scoring opportunity.
Marcus Rashford potential under Erik Ten Hag must be even more developed than when coached by Rangnick. doesn't seem to show a lot of skill, which does seem like Marcus Rashford has something that Erik can develop. Many of the tasks of Manchester United's young players need to be reorganized. Besides that, playing on the wings did make Rashford more confident, so Erik could give that position as much as possible in order to maximize Manchester United's performance. Although in fact Rashford also needs a suitable partner.

Rashford is a right footer, young and talented. He should be able to play any position at the front to help the team. Why must it be left wing? From Manchester United academy, was it wing he was playing? He came as a striker and so also Martial, due to Manchester United is a wing club, they were made to adapt to wing.
Rashford is playing the wing game in order to play full 90mins. He knows he cannot bench Ronaldo. Then, if I were to be a coach, I cannot play Rashford ahead of Sancho. So, he can't easily pull Sancho off.

He should relax, remove laziness and bring out his mind to play for Manchester United.
