1861  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are some expectations for a newbie aspiring to learn, earn and impact? on: May 18, 2022, 08:08:43 PM
Also, with engaging posts raking in merits, joining a campaign and earning, how does one even begin to rank up with as little as, or no experience as regard bitcoin or related crypto topics? What is expected of a newbie aspiring to learn, earn and impact with knowledge and investment?
Engaging post: There is no rule official or unofficial that said everyone must engage posts. If a post is made and the post helped you to learn new things, there is no crime walking away. Most people wanting to engage posts, end up entering conversations they don't have knowledge about.

Raking merits: Not everyone cares much about merits, besides there are unmerited good posts in this forum.

Joining a campaign: There are users like JayJuanGee, Philipma1957, DannyHamilton, Franky1 and others who do not wear signature but yet they earn.

You can earn my offering some services if you have the skills. This is a forum and it will be nice you see it as a forum and not an industry or a company.
1862  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THE FAITH OF BITCOIN CURRENCY on: May 18, 2022, 07:28:34 PM
If it does then what will be it's faith after the 21million mining limit...
#CURIOSITY
Someone once advised me (and am talking of CryptoprenuerBrainboss) on this very forum and as a comment right beneath my thread in my early days on the forum, to always avoid using upper case in my subject title. It might seem to you that, it makes the post click bate enough but, what you choose the title to be is enough. Uppercase alphabets is attention seeking and I'm not sure that's what most users on the forum would want to go with, an attention seeking post!
Some newbies use uppercase in typing and believe it's attention catch but it is really not what they thought of it. I was reading an English literature about online communication and I learnt the real meaning and use of uppercase.
Whenever you are writing an article and decides to use uppercase where heading is not applicable, it means the writer is shouting. So, uppercase case in the middle of an article means shouting. I really do no think that OP wanted to shout those words out.

About the mining of 21million bitcoin. Whenever I see this question, I will be forced to believe that every mined bitcoin is destroyed. Therefore, if 21million is  mined, it means the 21million would be destroyed and bitcoin ends. But if every bitcoin mined is not destroyed, the 21million cap shouldn't be a thing of concern at all.

New Topic: SEC ISSUE NEW CRYPTOCURRENCY REGULATION IN 🇳🇬 NIGERIA

Some good news coming from the security and exchange commission(SEC) in Nigeria as the government gives out guidelines that will serve as a template that will guide the cryptocurrency transactions and service.

What made them think we would pay such a high fee to conduct business with banks? Isn't this something we're already doing?  Man it's a lost battle... This CBN governor no get single sense for head, the same idiot want to contest for presidency.
That Godwin of a man socks. Wetin fit that man na to lick Buhari ass. Thatan dey make me vex anytime I see him on social media or television. Godwin is dame clueless. Under his watch Naira has fallen drastically. He doesn't know what to do, no economically driven ideas.  The other time na Aboki Fx e blame for crash of Naira.
To crown him Mumu all, him go pick form. For sane country sef, CBN boss suppose dey apolitical. This one go buy form. Him suppose resign sef because those election materials wey deh dey for CBN no dey safe again.

70 years old man, na to put charge for crypto transaction be your problem. All this money you and your agents (Access, UBA, Fcmb and all banks) dey cut us no do una.
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2021/2022 on: May 15, 2022, 07:20:20 PM
I wish Mohamed Salah could still play in the Champions League final and the injury wasn't too bad, Liverpool finally got a dramatic win against Chelsea, I faltered a bit when Sadio Mane missed the decisive penalty but luckily Alison was brilliant with a save. with this result Liverpool can still maintain hope to get the Quadruple.
Mohamed Salah will be available for the Champions League finals. My worries is he may not be able to play the remaining Liverpool tow features. If he does he may be jeopardising his chances of appearing in the Champions League finals. But if he doesn't play the remaining matches, his race for the golden boot my be ruined by close rivalries.
Liverpool is a good team and very fantastic this year, but I don't know why they find it difficult to beat Chelsea in this season as many times as they met.
1865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 15, 2022, 07:11:56 PM
Cadiz vs Real Madrid is boiling down and amount of goals that the men on yellow are missing is making me question if they truly want to run away from relegation. They have missed quite a number of goals and to crown it all they also missed a penalty. Their fan base is behind them and doing their best but the players seem to be delighted in missing chances. It will be difficult for Cardiz to win in this match since they could not win till now. Ancelotti has decided to strengthen his team by introducing Hazard, Kroose and Cavaja. For me I don't see any reason of Ancelotti introducing Kroos and Cavajah in this match when he has champions league in few days.

It is cooling break and Cadiz is hoping that Mollaco game still remain in draws
1866  Other / Meta / Re: Help end this phase for Nigerians @Theymos on: May 14, 2022, 06:20:34 PM
I would recommend all Nigerians to keep bumping this thread, always making constructive comments, obviously, until you are granted the local board for being persistant. Those of us who are not Nigerians but support you in the cause will help you in this.
Thank you Poker player, Rikafip and others supporting us in this request. All I know is that theymos will grant our local board request. What I don't know is when it will happen. We shall keep making good posts in this thread and other threads of our local board request and in the whole forum.
Approving the board will encourage us to do more, not approving it will not discourage us, but for fairness to the largest black race and the giants of Africa, we will appreciate if our request is being granted.
1867  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto trading has caused more depression in 2021/2022 on: May 14, 2022, 06:04:10 PM
What nearly caused me depression was scam and not market condition. Everyone buying or selling any coin already should know the dangers in crypto. Many people are depressed there is no doubt about it and many people are making monies amidst the market conditions.
People  were crying for Luna and some people bought Luna and it did x10 for them. That is just it. Nobody should forget this two rules.

1. Do not invest what you cannot afford to lose
2. Diversify your portfolio.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2021/2022 on: May 14, 2022, 05:49:04 PM
The 90mins has ended and officially into the first Half of the extra time. When the match started, there was much expectation that Liverpool will win, but as it stands now, it is obvious that any of them can win the match.
Jurgen Klopp seems to have chosen the champions league over this FA cup as expected. This is because Salah is out since, Keita is odd too and now Van dijk is off as well. It seems that Van dijk has slight shift in the thign and Klopp doesn't want to risk it the more. This match is very much open for any club to win now.
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 14, 2022, 04:54:38 PM
<snip>

Of course both coaches want all their players to be in the best condition. They will do that too. Maybe Madrid are a little more relaxed because they already have the La Liga title. For Liverpool, they still have the FA final today. They also have a chance to win the EPL, so Liverpool have more chances to get injured the players.
What you said is happening already. Salah has been forced out of the game because of injury. I believe he would have continued but Jurgen may be saving him for Champions League finals. If he stress him the more, he might not be available for Champions League finals.
Liverpool players are under pressure and they might have fatigue for the finals. The second half of the FA cup has started already and Chelsea seem to have found their way into the match. We will expect a better play this second half. I'm off to FA cup thread.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2021/2022 on: May 14, 2022, 01:27:41 PM
Well with less than an hour to go between the face of Liverpool and Chelsea it looks like Chelsea fan is in a very high spirit that the club is going to win this qualifying game since Liverpool look overworked because of the coming championship finals with Real Madrid but we can not say that in totality until the final game if Chelsea can make use of that opportunity to get qualify this season.
Liverpool is not overworked and they have not played much match more than Chelsea. Liverpool is not sure of champions league trophy so they will fight for this that they see today. Liverpool is in good form to beat Chelsea but Chelsea in the other hand is coming for revenge of the last finals between the two clubs.
Lukaku I seeing a bit of form and he will likely start today against Liverpool so he could be a threat to Liverpool defence.
So I am expecting Liverpool to win the match but Chelsea will not give in so easily.
1871  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns. on: May 14, 2022, 01:20:18 PM

I understood your plight very well, just that you didn't manage yourself or your time very well. In this forum, my first campaign was Gamdom managed by Yahoo62278 and I joined it when I was a member rank. When I joined the campaign the amount of merits I was receiving reduced. But my post quality did not reduce. Why the merits reduced was because I never had enough time to create topics again. I was replying to topics created by others.
Coping with 25 posts per week was not a problem to me because I was making more than that before I joined campaign. Besides I do not find stress posting in gambling section and it was cool with me.
So, if you plan yourself very well you can achieve your weekly post without stress. 25 ÷ 7 = 3.5. So, 4 posts everyday is not tedious. You can only get affected if you think much of the little weekly tips. Very hard to see a campaign that pays member rank upto $30
1872  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Happy to be here. on: May 14, 2022, 12:57:47 PM
Hello everyone, I'm new here but not to crypto, and I must say that I'm totally excited to find a forum dedicated to bitcoin and crypto generally.  Before signing up here, I was skeptical about the credibility of this website, reason being that I have come across some other websites as well that have bitcoin in their names like "bitcointalk", but all they do is advice you to invest with them.

So far in my very short time here, I have opened a lot of pages here and as far as I can see, this website is unlike any I have come across having bitcoin or crypto in their names.

I hope my time here will yield life changing results, what do I need to know?
It is correct that no one will present or pressure you to invest with them here. This place is like the bitcoin it's and the things in here are also decentralized, such as the trust system and merit system but thr only difference is that here is a forum, the must be admins, staff and moderators to keep here going..

Speaking about what you expect here. You will expect bitcoin discussions as the name implies. There are places you will discuss about the economy, politics   football and gambling, altcoins and even if you want to develop a project

You are welcome. And how did you come up with such alias Queentoshi?
1873  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: African Proverbs in Pidgin on: May 14, 2022, 12:41:32 PM
uchegod-21 dey perfectly correct for dat analysis and even with d example wey im throw take join am. I for still baff you as I baff am for ur attempt too, you try, but na my last bucket of wata I pour am so. Wetin you go talk for owa African proverbs be sey different proverbs fit mean one thing but nor be sey one proverb fit mean several things. No. As dem dey talk for Igbo sey different tribes get different ways wey dem dey take laugh. Na so d thing be.

Oga Mpa, you too make sense for here. You see those words wey I bend, plenty wisdom dey inside.
Elders dey yarn different proverbs to express one thing, but one proverb no dey mean different things.
If one proverb dey mean different things, no need to dey write interpretation of proverbs. Because you fit interpret go left and me interpret go right and both of us go dey correct.

GiftedMAN and everyone wey dey drop proverbs here dey try, e no easy. E get the day person make me vex for night, na this thread I use calm myself and get inspiration. Na correct thread be this .
African proverbs is full of wisdom.

That’s one of the main reasons I don’t like giving investment tips around my close environment: I don’t want to carry any burden if their bets end up going go south, even if they proceeded after receiving all the necessary warnings. These situations can lead to grudges which I can live without ...

What you do is the right thing. Even those that give the investment advices always put a disclaimer that it is not an investment advice, that one need to do his own research.
Such grudge do exist in real. There was a close guy of mine who lured me into a ponzi scheme costed in sheep clothing. I didn't know. I trusted the guy and invested $2000. Not knowing that the guy only invested $50 and reap me off 15% referral of my $2000 and withing 2 weeks he made about $10,000 and the scheme crashed while I was only able to get back $200 as a return of investment. I didn't act as if something happened to me, I forgave him because he didn't rob me but the grudge is still in my mind. As my guy, I was expecting him to atleast reimburse me a little, but he didn't.
1875  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Adding grey underline in every links on: May 13, 2022, 08:17:57 PM
Using this to spread phishing or malware links isn't really the best way to do it. Think about it. If you wanted to share something malicious, your goal is to have as many people click on that link as possible. You can't click on something you don't even know is there and if you don't even see it unless you come across it by mistake like when quoting a post the way you did.

But the possibility to take advantage of it is definitely there and if theymos can quickly fix that, I hope he does.
+1
I thought about this immediately after reading OP. The essence of spreading phishing links is to have victims click on it as many times as possible or as fast as possible.
Phishing links I know are not invisible traps set and waiting to catch even if one person in one year. Phishing sites come with some baits to enable it catch many victims within a short possible time.
Hiding a Phishing link with the forum background color will yield no much results because I don't see myself clicking every word or blank spaces.
This will work unless there is a kind of SEO optimisation the spreader wants through the link. Does it really work that way?
If yes, that means one can be wearing signature of a company and still be promoting his personal signature through hiding links.
1876  Other / Archival / Re: Gambling Campaigns on: May 13, 2022, 07:58:22 PM
For 10 new campaigns - 9 from the world of gambling, casinos, bookmakers, etc. Other services come across very rarely, and if they do appear, they exist for a short period of time and then leave this forum.

First, OP is very right, you established a fact which I observed recently. Many things must have caused it but one major thing I believe is the reason is;
Gambling, casinos etc are making real time use of cryptocurrencies. When you visit any gambling site, you will discover they accept payments in more than 10 cryptocurrencies. This cannot be said of other companies who might not be so intimate with crypto.
Again, the promoters of the campaign are also patronising the business. Some gamblers use btc paid them in the campaign to re-invest in the casino site by betting. The circle is flowing and it will last the more.
Crypto meeting casino is a fortunate thing that happened to gambling.
1877  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: African Proverbs in Pidgin on: May 13, 2022, 07:42:14 PM
Proverb: dem talk say as bitter kola sound for ear no be so e dey sweet for mouth

Meaning: Do not expect anything much from anybody people changes.

I beg to disagree with this interpretation. The proverb and the meaning purely differ.
"As bitter kola sound for ear no be so e dey sweet for mouth" This is saying that as sweet as bitter kola sounds to the ear when chewed, is not that sweet when you taste it.
This means that there is always unknown truth or some kind of pains in everything that seems good or perfect.
I want to use cryptocurrency we are into as an example.
Many people will hear that there is money in the crypto and jump in, not knowing that a time like this when the market will be red exists.
So, everything is not always as good as it is presented, it is when you enter into it, you will discover the untold part.

The meaning has nothing to do with people changing.

This strike issue is really disheartening, imagine having to stay extra years as an undergraduate when its not as if you have academic issues. FG and ASUU are only concerned about their selfish interest not considering the students whose time is being delayed. I don't understand why the Minister for education will be more concerned about obtaining a presidency form worth millions and they refuse to solve the issue at hand. Nigeria should even be ashamed because I don't know how many countries they see or hear having strike like we do almost all the time. The best thing is if one can afford a private university of good standard, Federal school is not an option considering this ASUU strike, I don't even know the fate of students presently sitting for JAMB exam when some batches are still waiting. (Please pardon me for typing in English, I no too sabi type with pidgin)

If to knack pidgin dey worry you, hope if person type give you, u dey understand wella? Because na pidgin ah wan take reply you.

ASUU strike of a thing no be new thing for we country. For this our generation, you no go fit see who go school smoothly without ASUU strike. The thing don clear for our eyes say our leaders no get us for mind. You know say this ASUU strike done already dey before aviation fuel wahala wey make airlines wan go strike. You see the speed the lawmakers use resolve the matter because e affect them directly.
But for we dem no care, their children all dey outside country deh studies. Make everybody wey de strike affect use this opportunity learn other things. I hear say ASUP don join their brother ASSU
1879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 12, 2022, 08:58:52 PM
Arsenal are experiencing the nightmare now. Tottenham are 2-0 ahead and Arsenal are playing with ten players now. This is horrible for Arsenal because the gap between them is going to drop to only one point. And in the last two weeks of the season, it's going to be enjoyable to watch a big competition between them for the Champions League. But this is really unfortunate for Arsenal. Holding is responsible for this probable loss as he got two yellows in only seven minutes.  Sad
Tottenham came to the match very prepared. When they were stepping out of the locker room, I saw the determination, strength and energy they had, I knew that Arsenal who rather are young boys will not survive it.
The only duty Holding had this night was to hold Son. He was holding and bullying son and he got exactly what he deserved.
Arsenal chances of going to champions league is now slim as they are facing angry Everton battling relegation and also will face Newcastle who claimed that they have improved but was assaulted by Manchester City last week.

Guys is it just me or the amount of crypto enthusiast has increased especially in we country, right now the vast upload of Crypto-Currency related stories on peoples social media status is massive, this leads me to wonder are these true crypto-Enthusiast or just people wey Dey follow the band wagon.
If the former is the case then I think in terms of adoption Crypto-Currency has
The crypto adoption for 9ja dey grow everyday. Men dey enter the space for many reasons. Some na traders, some they hustle other crypto related matter and some na street people wey dey find cool way to load. So, na all these people full together. Nigerians don dey find opportunities like this for long and we don too suffer for ponzi scheme people hand. Since crypto never disappear till now, na wetin make everybody dey put body.
But with the nature of the market, many newbies wey buy coins, some of the might be disappointed and give up.
