2121  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice most scam sites forever, Robbing by primedice on: January 31, 2017, 03:44:33 PM
To day I lost all bitcoin in primedice. I don't know how it possible losing 17 time. It's just crime. I seen that today many people lost his all money. I have long experience in many gambling sites, but never seen this type stupid sites forever.   I chcek my all bet, it was been fair. I think primedice doing something wrong. if possible then don't play primedice. Try to play any other sites.

I seriously doubt that you have a long time experience in gambling because of what you've said. Getting 17 reds in a row playing with 50% win chance is a normal thing which happens every day to someone. Have strength to deal with your loss without calling people you don't know scammers.
2122  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: January 31, 2017, 03:21:27 PM
Fuck faucets. Fuck working for less than $9.00 an hour. Fuck captcha work.

Doing nothing is better than slaving around.

Probably you can afford doing nothing but some people have to earn money to pay the bills. But still I agree with you that solving captcha is extremely ineffective. It's better to try to sell some of your skills. If I was proposed to work online for $5.00 per hour I would agree.
2123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin is not that easy on: January 31, 2017, 02:58:14 PM
If we say bitcoin equals money, then everyone will quickly understand. In my opinion, introduce the bitcoin is not difficult, depending on how we are talk. We recommend that you use a parable that bitcoin it equals money, so people will be interested to find and use it.
I love this idea. However, even if they understand about Bitcoin, they still doubt whether Bitcoin is really a type of currency or not because most of the tradition cash are paper but Bitcoin is the algorithm and based on computer and the internet. The lack of knowledge will lead us to many bad results and I do not think that 1% of them will agree to use Bitcoin

But what if to say that Bitcoin is not only just money but that it is a very valuable currency and to show them the exchange rate? From my experience when people hear that 1 coin costs hundreds of US Dollars they start being interested.
2124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: January 31, 2017, 02:35:53 PM
Hello Guys, I would like to know you're understanding about online gambling and real life gambling. Since here in the philippines online gambling is now illegal. I'm just curious what's the difference about this too. Why make online gambling illegal?

I think online gambling is illeagal mostly because of the impossibility to control the age of a gambling person. Another reason maybe because any gambling is banned in your country. Also in some countries gambling is permitted only in special places or locations and is illegal anywhere else.
2125  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Where else can we use ASIC machines? on: January 30, 2017, 08:03:19 PM
This is very informative thread, for me at least. Like the OP I also thought that ASIC machines can be used in some other fields. And now I know that the best second application of ASIC is as a room heater.
2126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What determines the price of Altcoins? on: January 30, 2017, 07:33:44 PM
In general, what are the reasons that determine the price of altcoins? Does it change according to the bitcoin?

I think it would be right to say that in general altcoin is a commodity and thus the price of it is determined by demand. I'm talking about the price in BTC, it does change btw. As we all know the "demand", especially for the newly created altcoins, is generated by the developers and by other supporters of a given altcoin.
2127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: January 30, 2017, 07:02:57 PM
This time I was more focused on gambling, I think as long as we are young and productive it would be better if the risk-taking that is choosing gambling. I want to get rich just time and by gambling it can be realized. for the investment it takes a very long time and I have not yet thought.

So basically you want to have big profits in a short period of time, without waiting, right? Well, you won't go far with that kind of approach. If you are young it doesn't mean you'll be lucky in gambling. I suggest you to reconsider your priorities.
2128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Losses on: January 30, 2017, 09:50:46 AM
Although I never lose more than I can afford it is still always a bad feeling to lose any amount. Even if you are playing from a faucet and you are not losing your own money when you lose you feel bad. The worst thing you can do when you lost is to try to recover and to play having that bad feeling inside.
2129  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: January 30, 2017, 09:22:24 AM
At the moment it seems that people has calmed down and all this predictions about big, big dump has vanished somehow and most Bitcoin users are calm now and don't tend to panic selling.
I agree that everyone has set its own limits and margins so that can make the best possible profit from pump and dump situations.
yeah I think today looks not too many people who do panic selling because the current prices are quite stable, it is different from a few weeks ago that you could see prices go down very quickly then most users panic
No we never see panic selling shown again because bitcoin prices are very strong visible from mid-2016 and to date are quite stable.
But, unfortunately we faced heavy panic selling after bitcoin prices were testing $1150 levels in first week of January 2017. In that the Chinese hands were deciding everything but they got regulated now so there would be less possibilities for any such panic selling again. Yes, bitcoin is trading very strong now a days.

It's good the price haven't drop much from the highest point in January. Good that most people realized that it's insane to sell bitcoin lower than $800 and the panic selling has stopped. Selling at low prices people not only contribute in the price crash but also lose money by themselves.
2130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC on: January 30, 2017, 09:10:23 AM
there is a guy who won 39.4 btc in just 78bets. Username: huananzi

congrats to that player Smiley

Yes, congrats to huananzi, that's a really impressive win, but there is another guy, rashodi who lost 100 BTC in 17 bets, registered less than a week ago. So be careful guys and girls, gambling is harsh on us sometimes.
2131  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: January 29, 2017, 09:45:54 PM
yes i think still not a single country accept bitcoin, but many government are seriously thinking about it. therefore we can expect that in future bitcoin will become more and more popular and hope that more and more will invest their assets here in bitcoin.
You can deal with bitcoin in many countries and there are bitcoin ATMs in America and in Canada, why would the government intervene if you are happy to accept the transactions in bitcoin.I have heard about a news recently that an individual is purchasing a house with the profits he made through bitcoin trading and he is going to purchase the house with bitcoin if i am not wrong.

I think you are not wrong because a house was already purchased with BTC at least once. The man who bought the house with bitcoin was alleged Sheep Marketplace owner, Tomáš Jiřikovský. The price of the house was around $345,000. You can read about it here:

http://www.coindesk.com/czech-police-seize-345000-property-linked-to-bitcoin-hack/
2132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: January 29, 2017, 09:13:34 PM
I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!

The world GAMBLING is really a big problem when you become addicted in the games. But as long as your trying it, gambling is not a problem at all. Gambling is just an object that tempting us to do what is it inside of the games. But once we apply our curiosity, we are already loose.

Not always. I mean of course we lose in the long run, but the question is how much we lose? If that amount is negligible compared to what we have then it would be right to say that we are not losing with gambling but just having fun with it.
2133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: January 29, 2017, 08:54:07 PM
Is because the name "Bitcoin" is the best name for a crypto-currency.

No other name will be as good.

I love the name too. Also I think Bitcoin will always be #1 because it has been #1 for a long time already. Only ZEC surpassed BTC in terms of the price in USD once, but as we all know it didn't last long.
2134  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-01-27] Mt. Gox Creditors Shouldn’t Expect Restitution in 2017 Either on: January 29, 2017, 08:17:25 PM
The article states that the Mt Gox bankruptcy estate holds $10.48 million USD + 202,185 BTC. With Bitcoin's appreciation in recent days, that is quite a bit of money. No wonder that the creditors are fighting expensive legal battles.

What's a couple hundred million among friends?

Well if there are a couple hundred thousand creditors, that's $1k each?

Let's hope they use account balances to spread it rather than my simple maths Smiley

Of course they rather use account balances to calculate how much a person should be refunded. But since they are not doing this already I doubt they ever will. And I agree with the other poster that a big part of that money will be absorbed in legal fees, high rank lawyers charge a lot.
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: January 28, 2017, 04:11:31 PM
The only person who gets rich is the gambling site owner otherwise no one else gets rich. Now many will argue that people make profits but this guy's will sooner or later come back to gamble and they will loose, then to recover the looses they shall gamble again so only to loose again. Hence no one except the owner profits and it's better to avoid gambling on sites, but then can we possibly stop gambling not that easy, have tried it a lot but can't give up.
You have a point, although you win now you might come back later and play again then your winning money will be gone thats why you cant save it to be rich. if you are just a player then i think you wont be rich just by playing.

To be rich just by playing is almost impossible, I agree. Especially in the long run. You can be "rich" from gamling for one day or even for one month but eventually you'll lose, it's always like that. I don't think that all gambling sites are profitable but at least it's not so crazy to expect profit being them.

2137  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: January 27, 2017, 01:34:34 PM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.

In time you posted this the price of 1 BTC was around $600 so to earn 0.1 was easier than it is today but even back then I think it was not so easy. I heard people were earning on this forum 0.1 per week two years ago participating in a Signature campaign, but today even 0.01 per week is a pretty good payment.
2138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Gold 2.0 – What humanity has been waiting for centuries on: January 27, 2017, 01:21:29 PM
Bitcoin cannot be compared with gold. Gold is a precious metal. It can be used for many purpose. Bitcoin is also expensive. It can be considered as a saving if you are ready to take risk. We dont know the future of bitcoin. Because its price is volatile. Who knows if its price will crash tomorrow.Whatever we tell about bitcoin, its right, but after all its a man made software token. Nothing else. If someone hack any top bitcoin exchange or any firm ,thats it. Its price will crash. Imagine If its price crashs and becomes fews cents then there wont be any use with this bitcoin.

The price of gold might crash too. Let's think about it. There are 165,000 metric tons of gold on Earth and there are approximately 7 Billion people. That means every person on planet earth could own about 5 rings of pure gold. I don't need 5 golden rings, actually I don't need even one. What I'm trying to say is that there are a lot of gold on Earth, more than people really need, and that the price of it is highly exaggerated.
2139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: January 27, 2017, 12:50:29 PM
If you:

1. Can't think of anything but gambling most of the time;

2. If you would rather gamble than go out with your gf or so;

3. If you eat mostly behind your computer screen, gambling at the same time;

4. If you think of money mostly as of opportunity to gamble more;

5. If you make plans about how to spend your future winnings ...

Then you are most likely a gambling addict.
2140  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Does running an old miner help support the bitcoin network on: January 26, 2017, 05:57:31 PM
Does running an old miner that can't compete with the big guys at mining coins at least still help decentralize, secure, and support the bitcoin network?

Only if you find Block(s).  If you don't find any blocks then it doesn't do anything for Bitcoin of the network.

This is what I was wondering.  So if I am not finding blocks with a miner I am not positively contributing to the network in anyway?

The reason I was asking is that a lot of people are complaining that most of the miners are concentrated into big pools or farms, making the network not as decentralized as it could be.  I see lots of old useless miners for sale for pretty cheap.  I was wondering if a lot of people decided they would run just one each, not to profit, but to help support the system and decentralize it more it that would actually do anything.

It appears the answer is no Sad

Actually I was thinking like you. I thought one old miner still can do a part of the job and if to combine many old miners, S3 for example, they can compete. Now I'm puzzled. What about that usb miner, Avalon nano, with the hashrate approximately 2 GH/s? Is it absolutely worthless?
