1201  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: January 19, 2018, 12:31:07 PM
What is the difference of Trading to Investing?
Investment is more a like durable process, investors buy something, a project, realty, currency and wait until it develops and becomes popular and typically gain from profit of the project, or sell some part of it; traders, on the other hand, play with price runups, that's why they buy and sell more frequently and usually it's something not as large-scale, as what investors buy. Another important difference is payback term, for investors it can be years, for traders - weeks, months.
1202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Friendly countries on: January 18, 2018, 07:07:31 PM
The country where I live is not a bitcoin friendly country, and I know there are some countries , they are quite friendly for bitcoin. even BITCOIN exchange ATM machines are there. Actually I would like to know what are the most Bitcoin friendly countries in the world at the moment?
US, they are working on cryptocurrencies legalisation, they are on high demand there, LocalBitcoin volume has been increasing like hell for the last 3 years, same with Canada, they have a lot of startups, Decenral is one of them, and they have like cash equivalent of bitcoin, which they can receive with special vouchers, and definitely Netherlands, there, in city called Arnhem Bitcoinstad there are plenty of places, where you can by stuff with BTC, restaurants (even Burger King!), book stores, clothing shops, etc.
1203  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: January 16, 2018, 08:53:05 PM
It depends on the amount. If the amount is big enough good solution would be buying realty. It might be even profitable, the thing is, it's not that easy to sell, so you won't do it right away when you need money. If you haven't got that much money you can just buy a lot of different cryptocurrencies and again the whole process of exchanging them all would be time-taking. Or, alternatively, find a person you can trust and let him/her keep your money. You can hire someone to do this job as well.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who knows why every crypto is falling? on: January 16, 2018, 04:53:53 PM
It may be a result of a chain of events. Japan and South Korea have shown falling-off trading volumes, at the same time China is threatening to block trading websites. Due to that the price has dropped and people did panic selling, which has led to even more price dropping, resulting in 15% down against the dollar. Some people are selling their altcoins along with bitcoins, that's why there has been observed slip in prices too. But in general bitcoin is on more demand now, than it was a couple of months ago, so buy BTC and wait for jumping in price.
1205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: January 16, 2018, 03:53:04 PM
Because it's fun, it makes you feel fear, happiness, saddness, anger and satisfaction all at once. Many people like to think that they are earning money, it is a chance to win something, but, unlike in lottery, you can have your own strategy, even though winning is about luck, you feel like it's your own attainment. Also gambling helps some people to move beyond their problems for a while, so they can relax and enjoy the competition process.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people keep trying new casinos? on: January 15, 2018, 10:42:14 PM
I think it's because of greediness. All those new scamming casinos always sound very promising, they attract people with free money you get when you register, still it is stupid, because you never can convert or cash that money and only play there; it's a psychologic question, I guess, why people always cling to something FREE, even though they might know it isn't profitable or a scam. Same case, when there are fake reviews on the casino, telling how much you can earn there. True casinos, on the contrary, never advertise themselves with a lot of promises, I think.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: January 15, 2018, 10:13:23 PM
Hello! i want to save money while playing gambling game but i cant really do it because i am really addicted to bitcoin still i have small amount of money to save in my wallet but in the next day i spend it for gambling because i'll always lose in gambling games can someone help me with saving in my wallet and play gambling games at the same time.

I don't think that you can do it on your own, if you are really addicted, no matter how you hide or store money - you'll find the way to take it back right away when you need it. Maybe you can hire someone, who will regulate gambling expenditure for you. Say he'll send you 100$ every day and never more no matter what you say and prohibit you friends to lend you money. If the situation is too serious and even these conditions won't stop you, though you can't afford spending this much, maybe you should receive treatment.
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: January 15, 2018, 06:19:05 PM
Now we can see a lot of business opportunities that exist around us, be it pure online business or offline business that is go online. However, the number of business opportunities does not necessarily allow us to choose and run the business we want.

There are a few things we need to consider and start preparing the business prepares capital, the second prepares the workforce, the third is the provision of raw materials as well as the techniques in running the business, marketing the business optimally, then profit a business, risk a business, concerning business competition and pay attention to the latest business management is the facility and the fringe

I think the first thing you need to do before starting any business is market needs analysis, because you might have the coolest idea and investors and the plan, but there is so much of the product already in there, so you would have no chances to push it through, or conversely, this product might be old-fashioned, so noone would be interested in it at all. Also, if you're planning to have a large-scale scheme, you can start with creating a small, inaugural project and see how it goes, in this case you won't be venturing the money.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: January 15, 2018, 06:02:18 PM
Some of us have known gambling since childhood. well, I want to ask you what your first bet is .... if I bet with my friend when playing snake ladder who will be the winner at that time. that's the way make me knowned about gambling.

I was always against betting, because I knew that I wouldn't be able to stop myself ans that's exactly what happened the first time I made a bet online. It was Primedice betting, I was using a simple doubling strategy by Martingale and it all went quite well, even won 10$, but then a had like 16 unlucky bets in a row and doubling the amount bet each time eventually ended up with losing about 50$. It was no big deal, but I was lucky having there not such a big amount of money from the beginning, otherwise I'd lose everything I had there no matter how much there was.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins would it take for you to Quit Gambling Forever? on: January 12, 2018, 07:16:59 PM
For and addicted gambler, no amount of profit will stop them from gambling because they are addicts.

For reasonable people though this is not true and one might stop after winning a set amount of money. But there's no end of greediness.

Are you sure that you would stop gambling? So you truly see gambling as a way of earning money? If that is so you're cool, but I think most people start like that, they think about the amount they'll reach someday and stop gambling, but it never ends. And I think it's not only about greediness, I think gamblers might have serious, like, physical addiction, because as they play their organisms product and release adrenaline, which frequently comes along with endorphines and that causes euphoria and people just can't stop themselves.

1212  Economy / Economics / Re: Budget Allocation on: January 11, 2018, 06:31:00 PM
How does a country raise funds for her budget. I have heard a lot of countries talked about trillions of dollars for budget and at the same time, they keep telling the people that they are indebted to IMF,  World Bank and some other neighbouring countries.

How does a country raise money to fund her budget?

The easiest way for any country to raise money immediately is just printing it, BUT it shouldn't be much more, than that country actually has (counting resources, goods, money from export), otherwise there will be inflation and it'll become like Zimbabwe. If country doesn't really have much to sell and export the government takes loans and, I guess, they rely on some upcoming projects, or maybe pay back with guarantee of help on special occasions. And, of course, the good old-fashioned taxing )
1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: exchanged 9.4 Bitcoin Gold to Bitcoin through Changelly on the Coinomi Wallet on: January 11, 2018, 05:40:29 PM
I don't think they're scammers, either you have muddled something, or they're not actively answering emails (lots of people say that). I think you should
contact them on social media, try writing about your problem on reddit https://www.reddit.com/user/changelly_com
Whenever people write there about such problems they respond quickly to save their reputation, I guess.
Twitter https://twitter.com/Changelly_team might be helpful, as well. Good luck to you!
1214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: January 10, 2018, 10:50:20 AM

It would be pretty logical for them to use bitcoin, what other choice do they have? It doesn't necessarily has to be BTC, we are talking about all cryptocurrencies, that allow to make anonymous transactions. And I personally know people, who use bitcoin to transfer money for some drug deals.
1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top upcoming ICO with greatest potential on: January 10, 2018, 10:36:50 AM
What are the TOP upcoming ICO with greatest potential?

I think there are not many of them. My list would be:
1) BLOCKLANCER (freelancer platform on the ETH blockchain) seems like an interesting one, they charge low fees and have developed methods to prevent scammers; check out their website, this ICO is starting very soon https://blocklancer.net/
2) CREATOR AI; not sure about this one, but heard a lot of talks about it. It is blockchain based platform, where people of influence bargain and make deals, if it works it might bring a lot of money. https://www.creator.ai
1216  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: January 04, 2018, 11:27:13 AM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?

I agree that somehow it may reduce unemployment, but I don't think that bitcoin related jobs will cast a long shadow on unemployment. I mean, lack of job opportunities is just one among many other factors that affect this problem. Such forces, as lack of skilled labor and lots of uneducated people will still remain flat.
1217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: December 26, 2017, 05:03:14 PM
I was wondering what's minimum / ideal amount of BTC or ETH I should have in order to start trading activity

If you have any idea or just want to share your first experience in crypto trading, feel free to write them bolow

It depends on your budget, I guess. Obviously, the bigger amount you have - the easier and profitable your trading will be. It also depends on a trading platforms. For BTC on Bitfinex it's about 50$, on Bittrex it's 16$, for bigger platforms minimum amount will be bigger, I would advice Coinbase, but take into account trading fees.
1218  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: December 26, 2017, 04:10:34 PM
The crypto world can become unpredictable sometimes, making our choices of investing into it, a very limited one. From scams to ponzis, there have been many losses from investors, yet making it very difficult to find a reliable investment.

But on the bright side, you could still invest into assets and commodities with your crypto like Gold and Silver. Then, if done right you could profit along the way with a good strategy.

As for me, I only decide to invest into gold (by exchanging BTC to Gold) and into some NXT and BURST assets.

What would be your investment strategy? Please share your tips, advice, or any good strategy you would use to safeguard your crypto investments.  Smiley

I can't say that I have an exact strategy. Sometimes I just buy BTC at its low price, like now, for instance and wait till it rises in price and then sell a part of it (usually 1/3), the other 1/3 I invest in other cryptocurrencies, like ETH, BCH or Dash and the rest I store in BTC.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't believe the HYPE! BTC trans. confirmed in 22 minutes, BCH took 3 HOURS!!! on: December 24, 2017, 04:50:56 PM
So I decided to do a little test yesterday and send  a BTC transaction and a BCH transaction at the same time.

Just to make it interesting and give BCH an unfair advantage I decided to set the BTC fee at half the reccomended amount, at around 500 sat/byte. The estimated time for confirmation was 25 BLOCKS or more than 14 hours.

Guess how long the low-fee BTC transaction took???

Well I guess you are just lucky, I have no idea how this described above situation could've happen, because I've recently paid a transaction fee, which was a little bit less, than recommended (as I recall, recommended was about 10$ and I paid about 7$) and it is still pending! It is the 5th day now. It was then, when I realized how useful ethereum can be, because ETH transaction took me really less than 10 minutes and was very cheap.
1220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2017, 04:22:42 PM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

It is quite difficult to imagine. Each bank must have a regulation system for the money they keep, and how BTC can be regulated, if it's autonomous? And it might be a big risk for the bank, because bitcoin's price is changing up and down. On the other side changing in price can be profitable for the bank, but in that case people wouldn't want to use its services.
