2181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How should a good gambling site be? on: April 17, 2017, 07:29:28 AM
The features that I want in a good gambling site is first, they should have instant deposit so you don't have to wait for an hour just for a confirmation.
Instant deposit means zero confirmations ? As per current situations of bitcoin payments, we all need to wait for hours even for one confirmation, still bitcoin works this way and we need to bear and wait.

If gambling sites start accepting payments with no confirmation, they start facing problems of double spending from scammers. I guess we need to innovate some other way instead of asking for zero confirmation feature.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: April 13, 2017, 07:03:34 PM
Bet all your money on Red. All kidding aside the only possible way of making profit from gambling and also being the “easiest” is betting all you have on a bet and winning.

It is easy and profitable. If you win that, leave, if you lose that tough luck. We all know there is no “sure thing” in gambling so this would be the closest you get to making huge profit with ease.
2183  Other / Off-topic / Re: Smartphones are vital to bitcoin growth on: April 13, 2017, 06:14:19 PM
Smartphones are nothing but handheld computers / palmtop computers hence there will be no wonder on its contribution for an internet based technology.

I believe people here are speculating about the growth of bitcoin in terms of bitcoin's price levels based on mobile Internet evolution too. Because people were switching from personal computers to laptop computers after that now people are switching from laptop to mobile phones. This shows how much smartphones are vital for bitcoin's growth.
2184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Really confusing bitcoin transaction!!! on: April 13, 2017, 05:51:31 PM
[i mg]https://s24.postimg.org/6ak613vs5/Capture.png[/img]

In the above transaction...the point from where the transaction initiated was : 15ioBi6L8uaF52caQsRxZNmbf6jpQmUJBf.....in the last row of the list of all the addresses that received the payment....the same address is listed there again ?

Does that mean the guy did a payment to himself ? OR is it something else!!!!
No need to get confused, this is how bitcoin transactions works. Always the last output address is one of the input address (there are few variations, find yourself).

Just check as many transactions you could in explorers and then make a conclusion before shouting here. You are with member rank but it shows you never come across about basics of bitcoins. It is not too late, just try to learn the basics from bitcoin.org and bitcoin's wiki.
2185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will you start accepting Bitcoin in your store and boost your sales? on: April 13, 2017, 05:40:49 PM
When will you start accepting Bitcoin in your store?

If you are entrepreneur, a business owner or you just have an online shope, chances are you can increase your sales by 15% while increasing your security,
if you start accepting Bitcoin and other digital currencies as a form of payment.
I have already did a study on this. We are running a provisional cum vegetable shop, but unfortunately there were not any bitcoin adopters in our area. Actually I put advertising board about bitcoin payment availability, people asked me what was bitcoin but no one was ready to pay with bitcoins.

Once I find some bitcoin adapters, I am in plan to bring back the idea of accepting bitcoin payments for provisions and vegetables.
2186  Economy / Economics / Re: One Reason not to be "All Inn" on any Single Investment for Long on: April 13, 2017, 05:17:58 PM
My reason not to be all inn on any single investments for long time strategy is high risk losing money (include on digital coins),
in all of instrument of investments always there are risk must be taken by investors
the good investors always calculate about risk in investments, they don't just think about the profit.
Yes, we never can be sure about the future. Even for short-term investment, financial experts never suggest to go "all-in", because no one could foresee the future.

One investment must be based on calculated risks like we should not always think about profits but we should always be ready to face losses too. I believe no one will be ready to lose all his wealth just with the one investment opportunity. Hence "all-in" should be avoided.
2187  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: April 13, 2017, 04:12:28 PM
I am not spending my bitcoins directly but I spend them indirectly by selling them and converting them to fiat currency as that is the only option I have at a moment as I don't see any direct places where I can spend my bitcoins directly as none of them accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment at a moment.
Find a way to spend them directly with the businesses online that you want to purchase good from or even try see if purse.io has what you want. As a last option you could always use a third party provider that converts your bitcoins to the currency the place you are shopping at accepts but that is best left as a finale option and needs a lot of research before putting that sort of trust in another company.

I can not now trust my bitcoins to anyone. I lost a lot in HYIP. So I decided to just hold bitcoin. Now I do not want to spend it. Maybe in the future I will change my mind

You lost your bitcoins in the past because you invested at a wrong place but there is no risk in spending bitcoin for buying or for shopping you can easily spend it but if you have made your mind not to spend them then keep your bitcoins safe in your wallet.
Well someone once scammed makes every decision very cautiously and you cannot blame them neither you ca change their minds and I am actually with thee people. Its better to hold bitcoins and when need something just convert in fiat and buy them. The problem is that there are 50+ sites opened everyday to scam people and not everyone can differentiate between scam and legit sites.
2188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: April 13, 2017, 01:02:57 PM
gambling was design to give the house the advantage and we must know they are making money for their business to last longer, we should not compete to that reality and just be satisfied when given a chance to win.
Means we should never try to gamble for profit, right ? I have to agree with you because we are just struggling with some per-programmed codes to find our fortunes. As far as I do hear, no one was successful in this struggle. But gambling houses are surviving with their business model.

Like you have mentioned the only chance for the gamblers to get satisfy by gambling must be gambling for fun and those gamblers who are missing that too will never get their satisfaction out of gambling.
2189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 13, 2017, 12:18:53 PM
In my own experience greed is always there if you are gamble even you made a large amount of profit you will be still greed and continue to gamble because they are not satisfied what they had.. so be satisfied what you had and you can be control your greediness..

you won't feel satisfied if you doesn't have self awareness, it's important to keep your self awake and didn't get carried away from doing gambling. Try to keep thinking your real life, family, and your future. Learn how much you already loss on your gambling and don't ever on having debt to get your bankroll.
Sometimes thinking too much about your family, your life impacts your gambling in a negative way.
Suppose, you gamble thinking that I have no family and no personal need then you would gamble much calmly and cashout once you win.

While if you put on yourself the weight of your family and the needs then you will always look to win more and more and then finally loose.
2190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: April 13, 2017, 08:40:42 AM
When new gambling sites hit market, I usually visit them and trying with them but only with faucets. I will try my strategies there and I will count my results. If I am finding any improvement in my performance along with my strategies and this forum has positive  reviews on them, I will decide to add some bankroll for my gambling.

I usually want new environment like new graphics look and feel to make myself entertained while gambling, so I'm always searching for new sites even I am already having good and reputed sites comfortable with me.
2191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [vDice.io]►Ethereum Blockchain Gambling►►**New & Awesome Version of Site on: April 12, 2017, 07:38:02 PM
There are so many exchanges now that some of them get everything they can in order to grow both their user base and get more users through the news of adding a new coin as well. The number of coins an exchange has usually correlates with userbase. vSlice definitely should be on more and more exchanges so that we can buy it wherever we want. It worths it.
2192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to study an altcoin on: April 12, 2017, 06:27:29 PM
how to invest in new altcoin ?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1715214.msg17180511#msg17180511

You can check this post. It shows how the gunbot (which is an amazing bot if you ask me) puts out the profitable alghorithm they have. Using these I have always found profitable coins and invested properly. However don’t forget that this is short term, not buy and forget strategy.
2193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you think , better time for trading ? on: April 12, 2017, 04:44:01 PM
If you want to get into trading anyhow then any time is the better time for trading and if you keep on thinking when to enter then you will never find the perfect time to start so if you are mentally prepared for trading then you can start it any time.
Getting ready for trading might involves many aspects like mentally and financially. I believe developing skills and knowledge about trading covers mental preparation.

The second and most important is getting ready with capital. There are people suggesting to start trading with possible small investments, but in my experience getting into trading with decent capital will always ensure tension free mindset as it will help to concentrate on our technical analysis and on-time decision making.
2194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: LONG TERM BITCOIN BUYERS on: April 12, 2017, 01:33:28 PM
In traditional investments, long term is most often considered to be a minimum of 5 years. But bitcoin seems to live its life in hyper drive, hence the question to the bitcoin world, what is long term to the average bitcoin investor?
You might get a lot of people that say less than 5 years but in reality regardless of the currency real profit only comes after at least 5 years and I would say 10.

Three years basically not holding money, 6 is not even enough to consider saving. You could probably make some profit after 3 years if there wasn’t a temporary decline but on average if you want your investment to be worthwhile IMHO you should wait at least 5 and ideally at least 10 years.
2195  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: April 12, 2017, 01:02:46 PM
Well if my earnings was gone. I think i would go into physical works because its more trusting. And its not always a guarantee that there is always internet. And we have some lending services.

Me too. I only work for bitcoin because somebody give me a starter pack or a starter investment. They actually refer me to a site where they gave free satoshi. If my earning was gone, I will push my dayjob and quit earning bitcoin. But that depends on what will be the situation
I would presume that you are receiving a big amount on that site that gives free satoshi, are we talking of faucets here or something?
Dude I guess, job is still very important as you can still do bitcoin jobs or investments even if you are working with your day job, that would sound
better having two source of income, isn't it? Smiley
Yeah dude how are you living off sites that give free bitcoin. Those faucets are useless. Even with multiple faucets or even a Bot that can tap the right one at the right time it take weeks to get even 5 bucks.

If I didn’t have any money and needed some desperately I would definitely not be working for bitcoin though. I need to be paying for food and shelter and clothes which you usually can’t buy with bitcoin and since I am in a financial crisis I can’t afford the cost of translating bitcoin into my local fiat.
2196  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: April 11, 2017, 06:34:17 PM
If I answer you no then I'll be lying. Even though my hope is for us to see 1 btc equivalent to 1 btc some day with the price of fiat mean nothing to us, the current movement of the price still gives us the indication in how well accepted btc is and its demand. I do agree with your reasoning but until the I will still closely follow the btc price movement.
Yeah I don’t see the point of trying to treat bitcoin as independent before it has reached that level. In the real world most things one wants are not available to be bought with Bitcoin anyway. So, you always have to be looking at the amount bitcoin is worth to know what the total value of your BTC investment is worth. Eventually though I think it could be possible to treat bitcoin as its own currency and not compare it.
2197  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin changes finance - but for the better or the worse? on: April 11, 2017, 06:18:19 PM
Bitcoin offers an alternative to traditional (fiat based) finance.

There's no interest that's inherent in this system. There's no mechanism for easy lending. There's no money supply manipulation. There's no lending off of a balance sheet (only) asset, i.e., imaginary money.

Does Bitcoin offer a positive evolution to finance? If so, how?
Although there is no interest, and this means that there is less overall need to invest your wealth into something (which helps to stimulate economic growth, meaning that we have a lot less economic growth in an entirely Bitcoin-based system) however you also keep a lot more of the value that your work has over time, meaning the stuff you do today would actually have value in 50 years.

Now, then again, it would require a huge change in the economic system we have in place today, so, based on the current lay of things, Bitcoin is a negative for "modern" economics, however it is good in other economic systems.

There's a lot more that can be talked about this, but this is just one post so far. I'd enjoy talking more about alternatives and how deflationary (or net-zero) economies could work.
I agree. There isn’t really a big difference in how it is used for finance purposes. The good outweighs the bad. Bitcoin is different from other currencies but what is bad about other currencies is good about bitcoin and what is good about Bitcoin is bad about the other currencies.

I think in the end, bitcoin has definitely changed finance but not for the better or worse. It is pretty much just a new way of doing the same thing.
2198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: April 11, 2017, 05:46:55 PM
There is always a third choice for you guys. Go in and out. Trading. When you believe ethereum is doing something good, buy it, when you believe ethereum is doing something wrong, sell it. That way you would be trading on the consensus equal to your beliefs and not charts. Sometimes it Works, sometimes it doesn’t but it always feels right.
2199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Segwit for LTC really necessary? Why? on: April 11, 2017, 05:32:48 PM
I cannot think of a practical reason why Segwit needs to be activated in LTC if the coin itself does not attract enough users to make it necessary. What if it becomes activated but nobody uses it? What good is it if it is not really that necessary?
Not correlated. It might not be useful for litecoin , a cryptocurrency that has low volume and mostly exchanged to btc anyway. It is however could be a very needed thing for btc, which is used by a lot more people, have a much higher volume and used to do what fiat currency does. You might be right, but you might be totally totally wrong.
2200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to maintain consensus without the use of inflation? on: April 11, 2017, 05:02:47 PM
I usually trust anything coinhoarder says and find it correct, tough the fact that he didn’t write anything between November 18th 2016 to march 12 2017, there was a huge gap.

Plus getting a warning of “this user changed their mail recently”, it does give out a change of hands warning to me a bit. So take his ideas with a grain of salt as if you would take a newbie.
