1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 7000$ to invest for 2018 on: December 22, 2017, 09:05:12 PM
I have 7k$ to invest for 2018, I'm looking for the next big potential (as everyone I believe Cheesy).
Need your best suggestions !

I looking for POWR and ARK, but maybe you have a better opportunities ?
If I have some $7000 to invest right now, I would not even be asking for opinions. I will just head straight to coinmarketcap; take a whole day to study each of the top 100 coins and then place priorities on them based on their viability, the team, the product, and the chances of them having a lot in the long run.

I will also want to place some tag on their present value and the chances of them taking huge dips in the future below where they are just in case anything happens. That would be my own way though. By the way, POWR and ARK are both good, they are still in their lesser state, so still a very good buy.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starters portofolio on: December 22, 2017, 06:39:23 PM
Where is bitcoin in your portfolio? Smiley I highly recommend you not to put all your eggs in one basket, especially when the basket consists of two alts. If only btc - I appreciate it. In other cases you shuld have well diversified portfolio Smiley
I am really surprised, although I have heard most newbies now prefer alts that would give them over 1000% increase by buying now at their dips as long as they trust the project than holding bitcoin that could drop anytime from the amount they got it.

Everyone knows what works for them and I really do not blame them, but at the same time, it is necessary to understand the risk of holding Alts though.
1323  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: December 22, 2017, 05:58:04 PM
Yes people should not forget that bitcoin is really a blessing to those who are in this cryptocurrency world. We all know that this really help anyone change their lives and sustain their needs. Bitcoin value is growing so fast so lets push ourselves posting and learning more about btc for us to have more blessings in the future.
Those who saw the essence of their investment and what it would be for them in the long run and those who saw the benefit that bitcoin would generate in the long run are really the ones getting the huge blessings now. Some new investors now are just out for the money and once they no longer consider it a blessing by not knowing the main benefit of bitcoin apart from being an asset, then they will really not find it well.
1324  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: December 22, 2017, 05:05:04 PM
When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so).
What do you think which is more beneficial short term investment or long term investment
i think short term of investing is not to much time to be well done but when it's in long term investing i think this is the right because it's have enough time to grow up your investment and i know it's the right way for investing
Short term can only be done when you are a good trader and you know what you are trying to do in the process of getting some coins for the long term as well for storage. I prefer both. I make use of short term for quick profit and buying back for an entry that seems right and then keep doing that and while using the profit to save up some part of the coins for the future.
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: December 21, 2017, 06:04:04 PM
It is a small amount of money. I would split it into 10 projects and invested in them. There is a chance that some of them would take off. It's risky, but the amount of money not so much to worry about.
Splitting into at least 10 projects sounds great and for me I would rather go for an established project that is undervalued than a coin that is already pumped in the market. Take a look at the team, the project itself, and the charts to see if you are buying at the dip after checking through some history. It is still a good time now as some good coins have not pumped yet.

We must just do some research, look for a very good ICO and then invest in it. If we are lucky enough to hit a very good one, we will definitely be making a lot from it in the long run and if we do some shortcut stuffs and get to hit a shitty one, then consider our little fund gone. Jokes apart though, once we have a good team and a good project, we can be sure that we can grow fast with our capital.
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100,000 to 5-10 million, possible? If so any tips? Thanks! on: December 21, 2017, 05:23:57 PM
I am completely new to this but I want to invest $100,000 and keep pressing and parlaying it until I have 5-10 million. Is this possible? If so any tips, strategies and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I’m ok with losing it all but I want a shot at making life changing money. Thanks guys.
Just spread your tentacles bro. That is a huge amount to want to put into cryptocurrency and I am sure you can still at the same time afford to lose that, not like I am trying to scare you or something. Make use of coinmarketcap and try to invest in most of the coins you feel sound reasonable after doing some research about them.

Put a larger chunk in the top 10 coins, but still do some research as there are some I would not really bother about personally, but since you are out for the profit, they all do not seem bad.
1327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a trader on: December 21, 2017, 12:45:56 PM
To be make a good trader, you need proper knowledge about the basic rules of trading. You need to start with few amount. Because trading is not an ensy work. There are risk to lose money. You also need to know about market cap.
Yeah, proper knowledge is extremely necessary and it is best to not try to take shortcuts.
Some though may not really have much time to do analysis themselves, so they pay traders who have the time, and then they make the trades from their analysis and they still have an idea knowing that they just do not enter a trade and put in emotions.

My point is that, you should rely on yourself more and that can only happen if you learn.
1328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility on: December 20, 2017, 04:33:46 PM
when we talk about crypto currency expect that the price is volatile. it will change from time to time so you should be actime all the time.

Setting your goal is the best way to ride price movements because in trading you will not just buy low or sell high it must be supported by your study. We make money because of volatility so read it well to save your money from being loss.
The studying part is the aspect most newbie traders do not want to take. They are not ready to learn, they are not ready to listen and they are not ready to research which makes them to keep doing the same thing over and over and over again expecting different results. The fact is the volatility in the crypto world cannot change but rather than making it a negative one, it is good to look at the brighter side from the trading angle of it.
1329  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Supermarket Accept Bitcoin on: December 20, 2017, 12:54:47 PM
I didnt see the supermarkets near me in my little town or even in big cities next to me. But i think it the just a matter of time, when they appear. Other situation with online stores. One week ago i needed to buy one program very urgent, but i didnt have money on my card. to my happiness there was opportunity to buy via bitcoin and I bought. It was not the most successful purchase of my life , because i don't like spend my bitcoins, but i didnt have any choice in that situation and it saved me!!!

There are only few [laces in the entire world where you can find such sort of supermarkets which have started accepting bitcoin. In my country, there is no such place which gives us thins facility of buying the things by paying the bill in the form of bitcoin. However, there are likely chances that this facility of paying the bill by bitcoin will be soon provided at most of the places in the world.
The point which we are missing here to discuss is that whether our governments or big investors of the country have started some work to legalize the crypto currencies usage or its legality? Now this is the ultimate thing which will surely lead towards the acceptance of the bitcoin in the super market near you.

It also depends upon the awareness of the people. Those business man who have an idea about this reality, have already started accepting btc.
It is not a long time. In fact, bitcoin has been introduced only a few years ago. Things need a lot of time to get settled. There are number of issues regarding spending of bitcoin at various locations right now but we should always hope for the best.

I am very much confident that bitcoin will for sure make its good name in the future and the use of bitcoin will be very much common all over the world.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Leaving Other Digital Coins in the Dust - What's your opinion? on: December 20, 2017, 11:13:43 AM
Bitcoin is a lot more popular than any other cryptocurrency because of the fact that it was there considerably longer than any other crytocurrencies like litecoins.
Yeah, I agree because most of the people trust bitcoin the most and that’s why they invest only in bitcoin. There are many other currencies in the market and now people have stared investment in other currencies but there is a lot of gap between bitcoin and any other currency. No other currency could be compare with bitcoin. Other currencies are in dollars less than 100 or 500 while bitcoin has reached almost 20,000 dollars levels.
1331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: December 20, 2017, 05:27:58 AM
Definietly
Its walk side by side
Lot people use social media and spread about bitcoin than it make bitcoin getting know to much people
In my opinion social media has great influence in the success and growth of bitcoin, because many people still in the world do not know even the name of bitcoin but when they use social media and they see bitcoin and understand it. They will take interest and will invest in it because everyone wants to make money easily and bitcoin is the easiest way of making money. By this way the market cap of bitcoin is growing.
1332  Economy / Economics / Re: May Or May Not any Digital Currency disturb Any country's Economics?? on: December 19, 2017, 04:38:21 PM
It matters how far crypto is allowed to reign in a country to see what it would do to that country. If Cryptocurrencies are regulated, of course it's not going to be allowed to disturb anything that's going on. But if it is given free will, then Bitcoin and the other cryptos will SLOWLY (most likely) take over a countries finances as people switch to it as they'd have no reason to.

This government would probably lose economic control of their country, as they can't issue currency, raise interest rates -- etc.

It would totally disturb a country's economy.
That is a valid point! Yes, in as much as the good sides are there, the bad sides are also there. This is a decentralized currency and if everyone decides to start making use of it, abandoning the fiat system, regulation could be very hard. The reason why regulation is still a bit easy in some places now is because one way or the other, we can still convert to fiat.

In a system where the P2P transaction is solid enough, then we should see so many people trying to evade tax, but I still feel in a way this can still be controlled and after all, in some places, we have property tax and if people are doing well, that should really help.
1333  Economy / Economics / Re: good effect and bad effects of robots in replacing human Jobs on: December 19, 2017, 02:14:43 PM
The good effect of robots replace human job are ( 1) robots perform task accurate, and timely, since robots is program to preform definite  task, (2) no room for the errors. While negative or bad effect of robots replace human job are (1) it lead to lost of job, unemployment  will be mother of the day, (2) work will become uninterested, because human being are not involve. (3) Robots system is to expensive to maintain.
Work would really become uninteresting but at the end there would still be a need for some professions anyway. It might look that simple but the robots will still need some servicing and there would still be the need to have humans around to get some jobs done, but looking at the large scale of those that will end up retrenched, it is really a huge bad side to it.

It is just the way life is. If you get a solution to do something better, someone somewhere will definitely be affected which is why the necessity to improve oneself and not to feel too comfortable in one's zone is very necessary. A lot of people are already losing their jobs and there is no doubt to it that a lot more will keep losing as robots keep doing the job.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to Hold these on: December 19, 2017, 01:28:38 PM
When bitcoin dumps, historically, all or most the altcoins went down with bitcoin. But it’s still worth to hodl long term

Xrp and eth have a good future. I don’t know what start is but i have heard a lot of people talking about it recently.
For anyone holding for the long term, there is usually nothing to worry about that much. This is a market with then tendencies of rising and falling every time and anyone who is bound to keep that in mind all the time will only end up doing themselves bad by making some bad investment decisions.

Most of the coins the Op have mentioned all have a good future, patience is all that is required, like the patience I had with Eth and LTC since earlier this year that has paid off hugely.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New alt coin says it can beat Bitcoin on: December 18, 2017, 01:29:22 PM
It seems all the altcoins are going to the moon recently, I am not a old guys that have an experience of 2013 when the bitcoin dropped heavily. So I want to know what will the next situation?
If we see the rising price of bitcoin which reached almost 20,000 dollars then it is difficult to say that not only altcoin but any other currency cannot beat bitcoin. The most important thing is the trust and profit and people all over the world trust bitcoin the most. That’s why it is going high and high.

Probably in the future people take keen interest in altcoin because the price of bitcoin is so high that many people are unable to invest in it.
1336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer My Entire Savings to Cryptocurrencies? on: December 18, 2017, 12:32:22 PM
Ok buddy, Savings is good but transferring all your savings to cryptocurrencies is not advisable. maybe 70% of savings can be use and the other 30% use that for other things which are important.
In fact, 70% is a lot huge already and anyone doing that is already taking a huge enough risk already. It could be worth it in the long run, but one thing to note is that as much as it could be worth it, something shitty can also go wrong. However, it is a good thing knowing that the crypto space is gradually getting established, so it can still be something of a risk worth taking, but not all in.

At this stage, every smart person should even know better than to transfer all their savings into cryptocurrency. That is just like an absurd thing to do considering that it is a lot of risk to take. The reasonable thing to do is never get greedy and only put in something that you can consider easy for you to lose. Anything can happen and even with the level of optimism, wisdom is required.
1337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to preditct coin price? on: December 18, 2017, 10:08:33 AM
You need to check the official twitter account for example.  If they have good news will come probably coin it will go up
Networks updates, wallet release will cause the price to go up
Good news from the devs usually help coins a lot and I try as much as possible to set a notification on every single twitter account of a coin with a good project and product as that is something to always look forward to.
Everything is based on the market and there is no way one can really make a prediction unless there is news backing the price to being pumped or the chart speaking some languages we understand.
1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: December 17, 2017, 04:39:00 PM
My first bet was when I saw my brother playing lucky nine.  It was very interesting that time since my brother keeps on winning in every round.  That tempted me to bet  with him.  The first draw I lost, then I bet again and lost.  My brother then told me to stop betting since I was very unlucky that day.  Funny but the time I stopped betting my brother won again.  So I just watched the whole game seeing my brother winning.  I am happy because he give me some money from his winnings after the game Smiley.
Seems your brother must be a pretty good and experienced gambler and he has some self-control to have told you to stop seeing that luck was not on your side. That is what most people do not usually see at first and they just want to keep going on and on. Gambling is all about luck and I really did not have a good experience with luck as well at first when I started gambling which was what really made me to stop anyway.
1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: December 16, 2017, 07:29:09 PM
I'm not sure mathematics can affect the victory of a gambling. I am more sure if a gambler makes more practices on his or her skills and being good at playing a gambling trick, then a greater victory may become hers or his.
Hard efforts always gives you a better result. Doesn’t matter either it is gambling or trading or any other chore related to any walk of life. Whenever you put your maximum in something, it just turns out to be amazing with most efficient results. Things are always there for you, need is only to make some better strategies so that luck is your way to welcome you and happiness is there for you.
1340  Economy / Economics / Re: Your bitcoin experience, how did it started? on: December 16, 2017, 05:25:00 PM
When I first heard about bitcoin I thought It was a scam but one of my friends explain it to me and prove it that bitcoin is really true that you could earn money  here. Then he help to have an account so that I owe him and thankful very much with no regret that he help me. And now I earn a little but someday I will become bigger and bigger.
Me too, it wasn’t easy at first. I knew nothing, the only source I knew one can make income through bitcoin was Faucets– just like moonbtc, bitco.in and the rest of them. I also remember that Cryptocoinsnews had a faucet then, and it was quite one of the best, cause a decent amount can be earned there daily. Through out my first year in bitcoin, it was hard (just like it would be for a newbie), but now I’m making a lot.
It was not really easy for me too. The whole journey for me also started with a faucet back then and funny enough those faucet earning have really turned out to be abit huge now after deciding to save them.

I never really got the straight clue until I started telling myself how much I have been wasting my time on faucets, but all before that, the media has done so much job in raising huge awareness about bitcoin and that really helped. Happy to be here now and I am sure the future is still very bright.
