1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE PASSES ETHEREUM!! on: January 03, 2018, 05:17:38 PM
Ripple has been going absolutely crazy and the only thing that I am depressed about is that I didn't buy more when I bought in at $0.20!

Let me know what you guys think of the video and what you think of this crazy Ripple bull run!

Thank you as always !

Link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKOXEoGyGDo
I wonder why you guys think because of a crazy bull run, that makes ripple to be a very good coin to hold, and then you should probably go check the history of ripple and how it does not even stand a chance of being called a cryptocurrency.

Do not be fooled guys, ripple is nothing than a centralized coin with pretty huge tendency of being manipulated, so do not be worried you missed the bull run except all you are after is just mere profit.
1282  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will Go to 7500$ on: January 03, 2018, 04:28:17 PM
BTC Will Go to 7500$.
SELL YOUR BTC NOW .
Please give your prove that bitcoin will go to $7500 . And i think it is more good to buy bitcoin again.
That is really how I see it. He just decided to come here to open an account and then spread FUD for his own good so as to make some profit. I really want to see where that is going to get him and I imagine the number of forums he must have opened account to spread this false rumor. Anyone who decided to sell what they have for people like this who have been stealing from them, then that is their cup of tea.
1283  Economy / Speculation / Re: The beginning of new trend : Ghana may invest 1% of its reserves in bitcoin on: January 03, 2018, 03:36:10 PM
Ghana may set this trend to begin
Who knows, countries would have already started using bitcoins as their reserve assets (as the financial advisers of many countries are known for foreseeing and smart thinking). I assume if bitcoins was less volatile so far then probably countries might have considered to keep their reserves to grow faster.

If bitcoin will be one of the reserve assets then achieving one billion (not a typo) dollars per one bitcoin is no more debatable. Yes, believe me, that is definitely going to happen but the question is within this decade or in next decade.
I agree and I know many people may argue it as a too early call. By this time last year we were trading bitcoins around $1000 and now it is solid around $15k. Remarkable and obviously unbelievable. Hence, I too agree that one billion dollars also will be possible before 2030.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: January 03, 2018, 03:06:02 PM
I think i'm not a gambling expert, we cannot say that we are a gambling expert even if we have some ideas and skills or we experience to win. Because we only say that if your gambling expert if you win always and especially you win always in a jackpot and never experience to lose money. No one is a expert when it comes to gambling because its based on the strategy of the people what they use. But i think there are some people are expert in gambling that we do not know.
When I opened the topic I believed it was like if we are expert in gambling knowledge of verification of a dice bet and so on. I think no one is a expert even the gambling website owner because there is a certain element of risk and yes you will feel joy momentarily but that means you will have a bad feeling soon because wins don't happen all the time.

I believe an expert of gambling is the one who actually knows when to pause his betting and when to absolutely stop gambling in his/her life.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: January 03, 2018, 01:58:25 PM
You need basic bankroll management. You should destinate as many funds as you can afford losing and then play accordingly to what your bankroll is. Also I like to always withdraw some winnings if there are to keep myself motivated.

Stop should not be an option if you respect your bankroll and stakes accordingly, variance can be negative or positive and always leaving with loses leave you break
Yes that's a good idea but I disagree with the cashout profits part because as soon as you cash your profits you get into safe zone where you would feel like you can burn the remaining money taking higher risks since you already secured some profit and cashed it.

I rather prefer to set a particular amount and if that is reached I would stop gambling and withdraw all the money, the capital and the profit.
1286  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Volatility A Bad Thing? on: January 03, 2018, 12:42:51 PM
Bitcoin volatility is not a bad thing actually it makes attracts more investors or traders to hold on or buy bitcoin at cheaper price in a possible time. Bitcoin volatility is a usual movement in the exchange that price always fluctuates.
Volatility is something we cannot even rule out in any currency but the rate of bitcoin's volatility has really made it even more interesting most especially for traders who have seen it as a very good way to even make more money than they can imagine from crypto.

Every currency fluctuate in price but what makes bitcoin's own huge is the fact that it is new and there is so much of room for it to grow as well as a lot of FUD surrounding the investment for now.
1287  Economy / Economics / Re: Economical World Of Bitcoin And Its Difficulties on: January 03, 2018, 08:36:32 AM
From many months i am thinking about what if " we remove fiat system , and change things into crypto " .. What are the main difficulties we will face ?

1. Internet every where is not yet done.
2. Awareness with Crypto ( but its not a big thing, as most are aware of how to use currency. )
3. Bitcoin is only 21,000,000 and world population is more. ( This can fix by other altcoins same like USD/RUB/CNY etc )

What other difficulties we can face ?

But those difficulties are only going to be true if you tried to replace fiat with bitcoin right now, as technology becomes cheaper and more accessible people will begin to adopt bitcoin slowly, in the future when the Internet becomes available in a similar way than water and electricity then we will begin to see bitcoin used by all kind of people, to me the biggest problem that needs to be solved asap is the transaction fees everything else can be solved with time.
Yeah, and since that does not even look feasible from the angle we are now, it may not really pose to be a huge challenge. Fiat is still going to be very usable and only few of those who willingly want to use bitcoin would end up using it as long as they do not have any restriction doing so.

Nothing comes pretty fast just as you said, adoption happens slowly and to me bitcoin is even pretty fast than we could all have imagined within just few years, but we should expect the fiat system to keep on going for now.
1288  Economy / Economics / Re: what benefits you've got from bitcoin in 2017 on: January 03, 2018, 08:03:04 AM
For me it had both advantages and disadvantages such as it somehow gave the opportunity to earn money and on the other hand showed the potential of people what are capable to do for money.
Lol, even without bitcoin, people have been capable to do anything crazy for money and go all the way with a high level of huge risk in doing anything just to get rich. I would not blame anyone, it is an opportunity and while some people do not even have an idea what it is all about, they still got in anyway.

The opportunity is huge and then we know that a lot of people are really eager to tap into it, and only the smart ones will end up being the real believers who will do everything possible to get the best of it.
1289  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: January 02, 2018, 06:07:00 PM
I believe that the initial purpose of crypto is to create a digital currency for making transactions quick and easy. However, in reality it has become an asset which everybody is buying and holding. Continuing doing like this will destroy the initial purpose of the coin?

What is your opinion?
As has been explained to all of us that crypto is a non-currency asset because if crypto in that currency will cause problems to the existing bank in a country and if crypto is used as currency for transaction then the transaction is not valid in law because one- the only thing that can be done in a transaction is money in the country. Therefore, bitcoins are made in assets to prevent misunderstandings from occurring.
In the normal sense, crypto is both a currency and an asset and I am sure most of you guys saying this does not have a single idea what the main essence of cryptocurrency is.

The only different thing between most crypto and fiat based system is that it is a decentralized environment and which is one of the reasons why countries are banks are a little bit skeptical about its usage as a currency. However, the decentralized system as well is what makes it both volatile and also serve as an asset due to the demand and supply.
1290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer My Entire Savings to Cryptocurrencies? on: January 02, 2018, 12:52:47 PM
I won’t suggest you to put all your savings in crypto. You should continue investing in stock market and use a certain percentage of your funds in crypto, diversification is the key.

As for storing your coins in exchanges, I strongly recommend you NOT to do so. You do not control the wallet and you never know when will the exchange closed down and whether you will be able to get back your coins. Leave the coins you use for day trading and transfer the rest to your coin wallets. I suggest a hardware wallet such as Ledger or Trezor for this.
I would not suggest that either. Things may look rosy now, but in the world of investments, you should always leave some space for thorns. With that in mind, there is no need trying to be too greedy trying to get all in and for someone who has been into stocks like the OP, no one should even be telling him that as he should know better. It is risky, anything can happen at any moment and all we have is looking out to see where the peak gets to.
1291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be cautious with new exchanges on: January 01, 2018, 04:15:36 PM
Saw that the highest price for btc is on topbtc.com https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/topbtc/

this link from coinmarketcap.com doesn't show any fiat market. it is only showing a couple of altcoins which are being traded with bitcoin and the prices look normal to me. i didn't  check every single one but the tip ones like ETH and LTC seem normal.

checking the website of it also shows the same thing. they also have some fiat market which coinmarketcap doesn't list. i couldn't figure out what currency it is because it was called "QQC" and i can not find what it stands for. and the price was 81,000 QQC which doesn't match anything like CNY, JPY or RUR.
Yeah, I noticed that too. Moreover it looks like a Chinese exchange and there are so many exchanges that are restricted to a certain area which makes it unusable for an outsider from that region anyway. However, for someone who is looking for the best place to trade, there are so many reviews and resources online to be sure one is on the right track so as not to end up dashing out funds to scammers.
1292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Convert your BTC to LTC/ETH ASAP on: January 01, 2018, 02:30:08 PM
Bitcoin is doomed. It runs off an outdated rudimentary system which requires way too much electricity. It's only a matter of time before it tanks due to a major technical issue. Switch to LITECOIN which is like bitcoin but better with all necessary improvements. Sell off all your BTC and buy LTC cheap while you still can! I realized how shitty bitcoin was last week when my 5k transaction took almost a day and a half to confirm (I still have no idea why). I sold all $35k of my BTC and put 3/4 into litecoin and the other 1/4 into Ethereum and it's so much cleaner and more manageable if that makes any sense. I also just doubled my money with LTC in the last 24 hrs. I advise you do the same ASAP.

It is a good choice too because litecoin made an amazing bump for last two days so I hope you made a good profit from your decision. But bitcoin transaction were stucked due to more traffic in bitcoin network so loghtning network need to be implemented to save the future of bitcoin because the transaction fee keeps increasing.I send $60 in BTC and the fee is $14 it looks too expensive for that small amount. If that continues then pepole looks for the alternative coins as he did.
All the coins are doing pretty well right now and I have been surprised at the rate at which LTC decided to just keep having some bullish moments for now. It is good though and it is something that has been expected for long and I am surprised that the same set of people who could have had some bad things to say about LTC in the past because of the value not increasing are the ones vouching for it now.

LTC now is running like a baby being pursued, I might just wait for some little corrections before deciding to step in but no one knows if it would keep up like this. Nevertheless, I would not imagine myself switching to LTC from BTC because of some scaling issue. Who knows what would happen with Litecoin when people start switching to it, maybe we may start seeing some issue gradually.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: December 30, 2017, 08:48:01 PM
How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

Mee too. I'm a newbie on this. My friends are talking everyday about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
For a beginer, should I invest into Bitcoin or other ones?

Thank you.
There is what they call diversification and that should be your decision to make anyway. However, I would advise you to make bitcoin your top priority now that the value is even low, and then pick some other alts to diversify into, but never do that without having some knowledge in the area at which you are investing into, otherwise you may end up making some bad decisions by choosing some alt you are going to regret for the rest of your life.
1294  Economy / Economics / Re: The legalization of bitcoin. on: December 30, 2017, 05:44:43 PM
Of course, governments will try to outlaw bitcoin at the beginning, the they'll find a way to control them.
In europe they're talking about a general database of bitcoin addresses...
Lol, then I am trying to think, how do they want to even achieve that in Europe ? I have liked multiple addresses and even within a single wallet, I can change my address easily.

Hence I wonder, except they want to have access to your account or get to have your private key, or probably open an exchange and force everyone to be using it so they can trace what they have, there is just no way it would be that easy to get such a database. I may be wrong though.
1295  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: December 30, 2017, 03:00:19 PM
When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so).
What do you think which is more beneficial short term investment or long term investment
i would vote for long term investment because it has a higher chance of earning huge profit. Indeed , in long term investment, it would take time but that period of time would surely be worth waitting for just like here in Bitcoin whcih is already proven that holding for a long period of time would yield to huge profit.
Of course. Unless someone is no longer sure of his position in an investment is the only time one should be worried but it is normal to understand where you are investing before you even invest which is why long term investment seems more of a better option than short term.

For example, someone who bought 100 dollar worth of bitcoin back in 2010 should be worth a whole lot now. At this stage when you know the worth of even just 1BTC, you can just easily pick some of it and diversify into some other offline investments to at least spread your risk and look forward to more profit.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Price Prediction 2018 - 2022 on: December 30, 2017, 01:19:08 PM
Ok, it can be a joke too, but can you please consider to donate me something as I am not selling this which I could do as many MLM professionals doing that, but I am not charging anything from you. I only have $1 worth of BTC  Cry
Oh! I guessed as much. Apparently, you know it is a joke yourself and I guess I would not really have much to say. If you only have $1 worth of BTC, it is a start and you do not know how much that $1 would be worth later on.

The only thing I have for you is to work hard as free money is something you really cannot get, and there are so many ways you can do some stuffs around here to get you there gradually from the little $1 to more than that. You should probably channel your energy on those ones.
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about 2018 ICOs on: December 30, 2017, 12:28:22 PM
ICO in 2017 is an impressive new start and I am sure ICO projects will be more and more quality in 2018 and this will help investors to choose good ICO projects and will certainly have a good profit
In fact, 2017 really showed a big boom for ICOs and I am trying to imagine how 2018 is going to be like. Although, I am curious that a lot may change in the crypto world regarding ICOs in 2018, most especially with regulations. Nothing can be said much yet though, I guess we just have to wait to see how interesting the crypto world gets in this case.

We already have seen so many ICOs in this year so i dont think they will stop popping every day in next one. This represent for some people good opportunity to invest and to make more money or some crypto depend from what they want.
Yes, the hype and trend of new ICOs may continue into 2018 also as it is completely backed by lots of crypto people. Even some utter jokes project also attract people to invest with them and eventually they make profits when the tokens hit exchange. Hence I do not see any stopping for ICO booms in 2018 too.
1298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Auto Learn Trading on: December 29, 2017, 07:47:18 PM
There is no a secret "key" to learn how to trade just like you are saying, if you really want to learn, then just go to the internet and start looking for some guides about how to sell and buy and always be on profit just by doing that.
As simple as that. The OP should ask those who tried the shortcut way and what happened to them at the end of it all.

You cannot do without learning and you have to do it manually all by yourself. There is nothing that you can set to auto to tell you when to buy, you have to use the strategies you learn to know what you can use to make good decisions on the chart and sometimes, you need all the indicators to make the right move.
1299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2017, 06:54:40 PM
Hold is still better, even buy is much better. We should not afraid with this condition, just be braver then we will get big profit in the next few month. Crypto is always pump and dump, eternity cycle.
Agree, buying more number of bitcoin and holding the already having bitcoin is really a very good idea for having more profit at the end of the day. Right now, the market price of bitcoin is decreasing and it is really a very good opportunity for all of us to buy as many bitcoins as we can. Bitcoin will for sure rise in the near future and at that time, it will not be possible for you to buy more bitcoin.
Even if bitcoin ends up rising a lot in the future, that does not mean you still would not be able to buy but the best thing is to have bitcoin being useful and not just end up being an asset that the only thing driving it is just mere speculations when of course there are huge signs everywhere showing how useless it has been using it for even huge transactions and waiting for a long period of time with high fees to get your transaction confirmed and that is making a lot of people to lose faith because it sucks.
1300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: December 29, 2017, 06:05:40 PM
Personally, I learn more from losing then I do winning. The more I lose, the better I win. Honestly, I don’t think you should be losing at all in a uptrend market. Just following up the mainstream, then it's all OK!
As long as you know the right time to enter a market and also get out, then there is just no way you should lose. Bitcoin is an uptrend market and even with the whole corrections, it would always try to find a base, but at the same time, you have to be very smart on how you trade, have a strategy and gradually you will get good and make a lot of profit once you do not get greedy as well.
