221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 07, 2020, 03:50:00 PM
Never tried it before, surprisingly this is the first time I am hearing about it. No that I don't know that it possible but I don't some casino are officially launching this type of service.
I will surely give this a try, hopefully to make some funds from it. Even, I think it's best than gambling. Since its a bit risk free. The only thing is that hope the site won't just fold up without prior notice. Investing in Bustadice will be great though.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona Virus and The Effect on The Markets on: February 07, 2020, 12:15:29 PM
Well, so far the price of Bitcoin has not reduced but have shown positive signs. This could mean one thing; that the majority of Bitcoin hodlers or investors are not from China. But spread across countries.
And moreover, the virus does not require investors to sell off their coins. They both seems not to correlate. Nevertheless, we hope it will be resolved soon enough.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: February 07, 2020, 09:43:27 AM
I always dream have work that fit with my skill to get better financial and fun but not using gambling way. Just try to keep realistic and realize, gambling is for fun and use welcome bonus for play. In my mind gambling has bigger risk than forex or crypto trading, addicted will make people doing some crime if loss ( not all ). So, let's replace everything on the right place and function, gambling is for fun not for income.
True. Though, gambling has more risk than cryptocurrency trading and forex trading yet I still think they are the same. The risk on gambling is more higher than the risk in trading because for trading, the market chart can assist in knowing when to sell or hold.
Even, it seems realistic to make a living from trading than it is in gambling.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: How regulation affects the crypto price on: February 06, 2020, 11:38:05 PM
Even with regulation there is no hundred percent guarantee that there will be a price increase. Instead, what we should hope to gain is the exposure which will pay off in the long run.
Why we hope to get a regulation on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is because most people who wants to invest in Bitcoin are reluctant because their is no official regulation made on it. The huge adoption is the impact of regulation.
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction of Tom Lee 27k$ on: February 06, 2020, 09:53:31 PM
His price is okay and seems very realistic not withstanding that it is within six month.
Interestingly, many of us here believe that the price is possible within the few coming months, on May precisely because of Bitcoin halving. I do say the whole thing is becoming interesting compare to when we have slow months.
For me, I still see a price of 20k, that is, if truly there will be a price increase during the halving.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 06, 2020, 08:33:55 PM
It's simple, people prefer the lottery because it is simple, require less mental calculations and the wining is huge. It's just something that the want to believe requires their luck.
Many of those who even play the lottery do not regard themselves as "gamblers". So, it's more like saying that there is specialist for everyone in gambling.
227  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reasons why bitcoin may go 50% this year ! on: February 06, 2020, 07:47:47 PM
I understand that people think because the last ones created an increase, this one will create an increase as well but people are forgetting the fact that bitcoin is not some small thing like it used to be. In 2012 it was basically unknown and we were probably less than 10% of the number of users compared to today, in 2016 it was literally getting some attention and that resulted with us going to 20k eventually.

However in 2020, we are already known as much as we can, everyone has heard of it and people either like it or not, it is all decided, I doubt there is many people left who have never heard of bitcoin before. Plus going from 100 to 200 is not the same as going from 10k to 20k neither. So, I do think price ma go up but do not hope for it to be stupidly high like it used to do.
Same here, I couldn't agree more.
Everybody have been so hyped about this price increase forgetting that cryptocurrency market may not be that predictable.
I'm not trying to be negative about the upcoming halving, but I think Bitcoin investors should not be so relaxed about the upcoming price increase without been ready of the opposite. Let's hope for the best while been prepared for the worst to come.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: February 06, 2020, 05:18:55 PM

Reduce it to zero? Why you give up too early? If you lose or get nothing after did several attempts/trials, it means you need to evaluate your strategy or the way you play that games. "give up" never brings any solutions, if you are still interested in gambling, just come back and play again. Experience will lead you to be a smart gambler.
I am guessing he wants to stop gambling completely which is a good choice. It's high time à lot of understand that gambling is not for everyone. Just because a friend or someone you meet online claims that they are making thousands from gambling really means that they do. Most of them is because of their affiliate program in it.
229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: February 06, 2020, 01:54:07 PM
Just because it works for stock investment does not means, it will work for cryptocurrency trading.
Every thing about crypto is just unpredictable. And its funny to say that the time or period we think that the there won't be price increase, it might suddenly skyrock. If best, stop listening to price prediction, and follow your instinct. Many of those predictor have ended up misleading. Make research of coins, and stick to three of them.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to open an online Bitcoin Casino on: February 05, 2020, 09:45:14 PM
Even if you are worried on not making any funds in your website even after acquiring a licence, I still think its best to get the licence.
More people are gambling this days since cryptocurrency makes it easier for them to. One thing that draws them to a site is how legit it is and the marketing. So, set up your casino with new features in it, and market it well. Truth is, you will still have to spend some good amount of fund in the beginning but soon enough, it will pay off.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: February 05, 2020, 08:54:32 PM
In as much as I don't hype Altcoins the way I do about Bitcoin, I do say its best to buy  your altcoins now. The prices are low, and there could be an increase in the future. Especially where there is a widespread of digital currency. While you are buying shy away from shit coins, and remember less is more. It's best to hold few coins that a lot of shitcoins.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: February 05, 2020, 07:59:37 PM
Blockchain is already replacing banks in many countries. Transactions from one country to another is easier with blockchain and crypto. Many banks have understood this and already using it. They just dont want to market this idea as people may opt in to crypto on their own if they get to know about this.
Which countries?
Can you name them please? Cause I do love to know them. Bitcoin was not built nor established to replace the bank on anyway. It was solely founded to make transactions secured and anonymous. Mainly to take over the online payment system. Its just people that kept pushing this idea of Bitcoin taking over the bank.

We need a system whereby the bank and digital currency come together to function properly. Not one withholding the another. A country needs it bank. Have that in mind.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK gamblers cannot use Credit Cards for gambling from April 14, 2020 on: February 05, 2020, 05:43:05 PM
I don't understand why many people are frowning on this development but I think it's for their own good. They won't understand but credits card exposure especially using them to gambling online is more reason why cards are hacked. Especially for those who play games.
Every say, gambling sites are set up, some of them pretend to be legit but in disguise they are criminals. It's high time they embrace digital currency for their own benefits.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A clue on how to make them see that bitcoin isn't a scam on: February 05, 2020, 03:46:43 PM
It's easy to say but not that easy to implement, many won't give you the chance to explain it. Moreover, it's always difficult to change people's perception about things they have different believe on.
So, instead of trying hard to convince them, try to make them see the advantages in it. Let them understand the whole concept themselves.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 04, 2020, 11:58:05 PM
The idea sound good enough but the question is, is it actionable?
The truth is, many gamblers will know about this feature and are aware of how it can benefit them yet they won't use it. Especially when the loss in games, they will keep on playing hoping they will win. The self-control of gambling come from within, that is the self-will. Anyone that wants to shy away from gambling addiction should have good will power to say no.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with crypto is more accessible than ever on: February 04, 2020, 11:40:34 PM
No inclusion of Monero?  Huh
Though, all the coins you listed widely used for transaction. Making it easier for merchants but I feel Monero should be included. The coins has lost of transaction especially in the dark web. Many people may frown at this considering the fact that it is used by criminals. But lots of legit people still use cause it anonymous transactions is assured.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: How regulation affects the crypto price on: February 04, 2020, 10:32:49 PM
I think what makes most people afraid or shy away from regulations is because of the fear that the independence of Bitcoin will be withdrawn by the government.
Though, there is every possibility of this to happen but that  does not mean that it won't be giving something in return. Regulation will skyrock Bitcoin the top place, way better than it is recently. We just hope it is done rightly.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running an online Bitcoin gambling website on: February 04, 2020, 09:59:37 PM
Don't be complacent. Don't run an online casino without permits, even you are running on cryptocurrencies. Seek advice from local personalities available that are knowledgeable of the risks and pre-requisites of running one in your local state. Also, don't rush things, and make testings to make sure your casino won't be abused and bankrupted by some strategies.
You hit the point.
Most upcoming casino are always good in rushing things. Some don't even wait to test things within their website before giving it out to users. At the end, the site becomes easy to hackers. OP, try not to use already made script but one that has is built from a scratch.
239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: February 04, 2020, 04:41:56 PM
If you are talking about speed , then it should be Binance.com
Binance seems the most popular place for trading. But, unfortunately, it is not allowed for everyone. For example, here in Serbia I can't register there, they just have not an option for registration for my country.
I think that one of the problem with almost all exchanges and not only Binance. Most of them involve the geographical restrictions because of the government policy of different state. Every good exchanges are expected to comply with the law of states, aside from the state they are staying on. So, the same time, it's not their fault.
