I have it installed. But need to move BTC into it for security deposit. I will do so this weekend and put up a small amount of NAV for sale. Anyone have a chance to jump on Bitsquare yet?
Whats the experience like, any tips!
Will try after work tonight.

Presstab explorer cost 7$ per month and 30$ setup. Minimum 6 month. But now I try make explorer here: http://cryptoguru.tk/ - 0.1BTC per month and no setup fee. Are you sure it's .1 BTC not.01 BTC otherwise the first one seems a much better deal.

let me know if you have any luck I have one with the bitstream uploaded but can't seem to get my PC to talk to it. had one working on a different pc. Does anyone have the Cairnsmore CM1 bitstream handy? Can you provide a download link? The Dropbox download link in the Readme.txt just 404s.. Bit late to the party, but I've only just revisited the mining scene after retiring from Bitcoin years ago to find out the three "obsolescent" CM1s boxed up under my desk potentially have life in them yet! LOL. Here you go sir. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9_C2MdBMSAxWkxoQ0N5OGJmcVE/view?usp=sharing

This thread is kind of old, is there a new thread or something?
Is this coin on any exchanges at the moment?
-MarkM-
Not that I know of. Most of the SCiFi coins went into hibernation when the scifi coin exchange died. most are on life support between vampirus and myself.. Cryptopia and crypto-trade have some of these coins

Cryptopia has has suspended trading due to split.

in a smaller city there are fewer people that will know how or want to learn about bitcoin. In a larger city or close to one even if .01% give it a try that may be enough people to keep store going. what about idea a bitcoin shop and in smaller cities that can be better?

this wallet has lits of stores that take BTC near you https://airbitz.co/bitcoin-wallet/you can see map from website also I move BTC into a coinbase wallet that is linked to a debit card and buy just about anything.

Coinbase has made using your checking account slower but cheaper. If you want instant BTC or USD you now need to use a credit/debit card to buy BTC (at higher fee) and use your existing paypal account to instantly deposit USD again at a higher fee.
direct deposit and withdrawal to your checking account now take days to appear.

It's still early days yet for open bazaar, same for bitsquare you can convert fiat to BTC on bitsquare. then buy on Open bazaar. still no charge back but there is multisg escrow and arbitration. Later versions will allow for better store fronts. DASH Monero and NAV have or coming out soon with anonymous transactions. which can cause their adoption to increase. (I'm a NAV fan http://navcoin.org)

Is it safe to keep all of my assets in Bitcoins? And how Department for Combating Economic Crimes, can affect my account? What permissions they need , to freeze all my money ?
well as far as 'freezing' your funds no government can take stop you from moving your BTC. there is no central 'bank' that can make address 1MogRiTHpQZ7bkpq49cSVWADrTt7Jrghp suddenly not work. Now if they find the computer that has that address and my wallet password they can move BTC out. But you can make a paper wallet that has private key and hide that. unless they find that the BTC is safe. But as several others have said here the value of that BTC can change a lot. you may buy 925BTC today and 5 years from now you will still have 925 BTC but whether you can sell it 600, 6 000, or 6 000 000 no one knows. you can say the same about a kilo of gold but can be more sure it will be closer to the same amount that you started with. Ross Ulbricht when arrested gave up some keys but he could still have a hidden paper wallet somewhere.

It's a bit of chicken and egg problem.
since Bitcoin is not that well known in the wider world being able to take bitcoin is not enough of a added value to drive customers to your store. When Bitcoin is well known it will be because lots of places are using it. so while taking bitcoin will be nice it won't be that big of a deal.
You need something else other than just being able to take bitcoin.
Newegg takes bitcoin but if I want to do a pickup at their nearby warehouse I have to use a credit card.

Quote from: Nav Coin Raspberry Pi
The new 3.7.0 source code has been deployed on our Raspberry Pi and is so far proving to be more viable than the previous wallet versions. We were hoping to have this image finalized for today’s update but there are still a few minor issues which we are addressing. As with everything, we prefer to honest with our progress rather than announce release dates unless we are certain of them, but we can let you know that we believe we are very close to getting this released to the public.
That’s it from the team for this week. We are kicking goals and marching towards the public release of the Anon Network followed by its decentralization. To keep up with the latest, follow us on twitter and join us on slack! I'm personally looking forward to this. I'm guessing that it might be ok on earlier versions of the Pi it will run best on the Pi3. I've got a couple of spare PIs I'm eager try it in.

Maybe a netsh firewall show state from the command line to check if firewall is blocking the port? But if he sometimes gets a connection it can't be blocked. Is another app using that port? @shahim 2 hours later still no connection Let me.think about it. Perhaps i just need to get a smoketo get an idea where that fucking problem is.

Well I'm not sure why but I now see it as a vaild tx and it's in my wallet. I tried a rescan but it did crash and give me a navcoin-qt has stopped working message. So I did a normal launch so I could go to the console and surprise I have 9000.8 more NAV than I did before. now my Tx details says Status: 20071 confirmations Date: 10/5/2016 19:44 From: unknown To: NdNekwGedGoGYJhUYyn18g9QzoScmTdVAZ (own address, label: Bittrexx 2.0) Credit: 9000.80 NAV Net amount: +9000.80 NAV Transaction ID: 052ccdc1ff1db0c1ab3bde8fa2aa2418c981a48d5d54e97ddd75b9c3b3bece1c-000
So maybe -rescan fixed it before it crashed? Weird but I'm happy it's in my wallet. Is there way to export and import all my keys? Or do I do one at a time it's not that many but I've only done it on a single key before. So the amount the wallet shows you differs from the amount showing in the block explorer? Correct?
Correct the block explorer shows the 9000.8 unclaimed I show it as Status: conflicted no green checkmark and is not in my total. I haven't really followed everything you tried so far, but have you tried starting with a fresh wallet.dat and then import your priv keys ? Judging by the number of posts, I assume you know how to do this, but if not I can provide steps. Not that I know of, I just do a listaccounts (or something like that), then dumpprivkey for each address tied to your wallet. Probably goes without saying, but make a copy of your orig wallet.dat before removing it. Good luck, let me know if it works out.

Congrats on Bitsquare. now we need open bazaar but may be better to wait until anon is released.
