1161  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: December 16, 2013, 12:47:50 AM
Well this is working now. I may not have had ports matched up before
Code:
#!/bin/bash
sleep 10
/usr/bin/screen -dmS miner /opt/minepeon/bin/bfgminer  -S bigpic:all --http-port 8332 -c/opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf

Happily Hashing away at whatever pool In tell minepeon.

Blake's 7 is a old BBC SciFi Show http://blakes7.com/

1/2 Wink because I don't really think BlueDragon wants to take the coin that way. The scficoin exchange if for Sf Themed coins. (ok OFF is more horror but I'm not going to argue with an Elder God)

BlueDragon did mention that he's developing a MMORPG or similar and wanted to use BlakeCoin as the in-game currency, so it may be relevant after all. And I'm old enough to have seen the entire Blake 7 on its initial transmission (wobbly sets and all).

If BlakeCoin becomes SF themed on it's own that works just fine. The exchange can be another way to get Blake let the market decide how many Blakes will buy a bar of Gold Pressed Latinum.

Well I did not disconnect overnight like I normally do. No orphan blocks mined. Seems much better now.

Win64 BFGMiner doesn't have the http option built in, at least as of a week ago.
--snip--

That would make sense the --help doesn't show it as an option in win64. So now to find if the version in minepeon on the RasPi is complied with it. If not then figure out how to compile one that does.

Well if it was Blakes7coin could probably get it into SciFiCoin exchange that is opening in Jan. 1/2 Grin

Additions and consolidations

With the HashBuster Micro removed from the equation (and hashing on a PC) the Rpi works great.

Glad to hear you got it sorted.

Glad I didn't bother buying a HashBuster Micro and got an ASICMiner Cube instead... Smiley

Got a cube also works fine on mine-proxy in windows

I have this as startup settings
Code:
#!/bin/bash
sleep 10
/usr/bin/screen -dmS miner /opt/minepeon/bin/bfgminer  --http-port 8330 -c/opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf

When cube is pointing to Pi on port 8330 (2x) I see nothing on Pi and nothing on connected pool.

“We are officially making another series but we don’t know when. UKTV, the company behind Dave, who broadcast Red Dwarf X, want another series and we’d love to make one. It will be sometime in 2014, but I can’t be any more accurate that because we simply don’t know yet.

So it looks like it but not soon.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

D:\Coin_Wallets\Miners\bfgminer-3.8.1-win64\bfgminer.exe --http-port 8330 -Q 45 -S noauto -o stratum+tcp://pool1.us.multipool.us:8888 -u name -p pass
 [2013-12-14 17:02:07] bfgminer.exe: --http-port: unrecognized option

Windows or RasPi should I be using an older version?

Not sure yet normally find a block every 2 hrs or so.  It's over 7 hrs no block. but that's not all that out of line if it goes 18+ I'll be very worried.

More people testing means higher diff so that and normal variance can be the reason.

Anyone found a block Solo on a FPGA with the new code?

Is the system still working?
All of my blocks mined last night are shown as "Generated but not accepted"...
Any hints?
Try with my version of cgminer, even on solo.
I'm using kramble's blakefpga version. Worked perfectly until yesterday... Strange...

I have this issue often. Diff changes seem to knock wallet off network and all blocks mined become orphaned and block count fails to rise. I have to close and relaunch wallet. No prob in miner but in wallet.
