Very bad - don't even try - stay clear of Mt Gox until they sort it out.

If this is true then great news although I am very sceptical as there is no way to verify this information

Is this coin really necessary...... NO Just another unneeded coin, next there will be 3 coin and 8 coins and 4.2 coin - COME ON

What coins do you guys trade the most on btce ? ppc or nmc ? which one moves violently ?
This is the type of thing you have to find out by yourself

If you cant handle a bit of wait time and some delays at times, then you shouldnt be trading crypto.
By saying this you are implying that it is acceptable to wait 10 minutes to cancel an order?

I can understand your frustration - I've been in the same boat a few times

Activity should imply how active you are not how long you've been registered.
Well, activity implies not only how long you've been registered, but also your post count (and how they are spawned in time). I agree with who says that this is a better system than previous one, as it's a good antispam measure and avoid some newbies to become heroes in a matter of days. But if you make over a certain amount of posts all that will happen is you go up by 14 every 2 weeks. Perhaps they should change the name of activity to something a bit more relevant.

It's a very bizarre system unfortunately - you should simply get a +1 for every feedback you get so it shows up easily and clearly.
It would be worthless because it would be too easy to manipulate with sockpuppets. In suppose it would, didn't think of that before!

The very first users, when trying Bitcoin for the first time, were not aware that it was going to become what it is today - they put in time, effort and risk when no one else would.

Perhaps changes in the rules should only be effective for new members - don't penalise older members being removing them from a higher member group

Yeah I suppose it would have good points and bad points, perhaps only being allowed to leave trust if you have actually done business with someone may be a good solution.
How would you define that? This is a forum and not a fully focused marketplace, it would be very hard to determine if person A has dealt with person B. Also, a lot of people deal other places such a bitmit (when it was open) and have left good/bad feedback here. OK, I'll stand corrected - lets leave it as it is
|
|
|
why not? even after all coins are mined
Because it is an unnecessary coin that is purely a gimmick - we have Bitcoin already - and some serious alts - this coin is poor

The trust system needs some serious looking at, an eBay style feedback policy would be ideal where untrue feedbacks can be removed. You should get a +1 for every good feedback score you get.
The trust system is not moderated which is a better way than having staff getting overwhelmed with the amount of requests they would have for removing false feedback. Also, the reason why staff don't get involved is because how are they suppose to know that the feedback was false? It would cause a lot of problems. Going on to the second idea involving the " +1 for every good feedback score you get" comment. This could be very easily abused with sock puppets. There's a reason why we have untrusted feedback and trusted feedback. Yeah I suppose it would have good points and bad points, perhaps only being allowed to leave trust if you have actually done business with someone may be a good solution.

The activity number should in some way be post count related, the way it is done at the moment is not very good Why isn't it good? If it was the way you are suggesting people would be spamming to increase their activity. I think this is a better system than we had before and is working very well. Activity should imply how active you are not how long you've been registered.

The newbies section was a great way to be introduced to the site.
A bad move altering it!
