So, how is situation with Senior Putin right now? As i know he accepts cryptocurrency.. even more - he likes idea of Ethereum.. maybe he even invest in ETH Cheesy
Who knows if he's invested. But he has been speaking out in favour of cryptocurrencies and only raised concerns that are perfectly rational for a state leader to address.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 28, 2017, 05:44:02 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
Gold is a better investment to do, there is more people in Gold compared to Bitcoin.
Better investment for what goal? Safety? Growth? Both?
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of DogeCoin on: October 28, 2017, 05:43:16 PM
Dogecoin is quite popular among users, because of fast transactions. Plus Doge is also popular in Dice sites too. In future it can loose some positions due to ETH, and may be Monero, so of course Doge investment can be very risky right now. Shortly Doge future can depend from other crypto, like ETH. ETH is TOP 2 coin from all crypto, including Bitcoin.

Yes - doge is still around because people are actually using it. It's also relatively cheap right now and looks like it's gearing up for a rise.
The Doge Reddit is surprisingly active still. How come nobody is taking over development of the coin? Then it would actually have a future.

Vladimir Putin: Cryptocurrency Poses 'Serious Risks'

let's see who huts the most putin or jp morgan....

https://www.coindesk.com/vladimir-putin-cryptocurrency-poses-serious-risks/

These news are no big surprise to me anymore.

Every single day someone is going to come out and say something that is completely anti-bitcoin. And apparently the president of Russia is no exception. However, as a reminder their central bank is apparently exploring the possibility of implementing a crypto rouble, which is quite contradictory to putin's point.

I mean it makes sense that he hates it. It takes direct control from him.
Did you read and research the news? There's a full interview where you can see that Putin didn't speak out against crypto as a whole and doesn't want to create "unnecessary regulations" that could hinder the development of blockchains.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What alt will rise a lot after 2x day? on: October 28, 2017, 11:55:16 AM
A lot of people will sell their new coins, what alt will be the most profitable? Thank you
You're posting in the wrong forum. This forum is for discussing altcoins, not for price speculations.

Also, nobody knows what will happen and if you ask for investment advice you will lose your money eventually.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of DogeCoin on: October 28, 2017, 11:53:23 AM
It's really fascinating that coins such as Dodge are still around us actually if you take a look at the top 10 most of the coins are coins as DODGE without any functionality plain vanila coins.

Yeah, it's pretty interesting to see this. But that's probably because of the type of people that were involved with crypto during the earlier days. Now that more of the "normal" mainstream people are starting to join the markets Doge is quite likely to lose its last leg and fall. The only way to avoid this would be active development and rejuvenating the community around it, doesn't seem like anybody wants to do this though.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Waves roadmap on: October 27, 2017, 06:21:29 PM
DEX is too poor now. A lot of work to do with it.  stop-losses, charts, list of all orders inall pairs, design at last...  mobile version is the same

the dex is nonexistent atm makes trade nearly impossible, a huge ui overhaul is in progress, good thing is this hasnt been priced in!
I've been thinking about buying extra Waves because of this... but it's so quiet around Waves that I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

One of the few useful projects with working technology, solid partnerships and great team. Price now is awesome for entry I think. Buy my waves higher but not really worried about decline.
I don't really see the working technology though... the DEX is useless in its current state and there doesn't seem to be any date for a new one, even though Waves is pretty old already.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 27, 2017, 01:33:25 PM
I'll pick gold. I like both of them but if we are talking about centuries of keeping, gold will last. Bitcoin can be replaced by another altcoin while gold will still be gold even if I buried it deep down for a millenium.
With a mindset on making money as of now, I will be going for Bitcoin, because I have no interest for a long term stuff or whatever, like storing for centuries. Like seriously, why would I store for centuries, am I doing it for my 5th generation? Lol… I just wanna make money as quick as possible, from any legit good means, not in a bad way. Gold is good in terms of durability, Bitcoin can be destroyed at anytime.
This makes sense if you don't have a lot of money. If you end up with millions it's best to put some money into safer options, just to make sure that you won't find yourself with a house and lifestyle that you can't afford some day.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO study on: October 27, 2017, 01:30:42 PM
How useful is the proposal in the real world?

How many people could benefit from it?

How much could they benefit from it?

What is the overall market value and how much market share could the project achieve in what amount of time?

How difficult is the project to realize and how long would it realistically take?

Are there similar projects and if so, what sets them apart?

...snip...
Although the same spreadsheet error occurs on Excel too, you can still view it when you press ok.
I can't view it in OpenOffice even if I press ok or repair. Would love to see this fixed so I can check the spreadsheet.

If you change the file extension to XLSX, it should open fine.

The file is actually an XLSX file, and not an XLS file. Excel "understands" differences in file formats, but if one isn't what it's ostensibly supposed to be, it throws that error.

I don't use OO much, but my guess is that it's going strictly from the file extension, and then unable to open it.

I changed the extension and its read flawlessly by OO now. Thanks.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: October 26, 2017, 04:27:33 PM
ICO is a risky investment. There is only about 1% or even less that will perform better than bitcoin. So unless you are very experience in crypto, it is always that you do not get into ICO as you have no knowledge to determine which ICO is good or bad.
I second this. ICOs are extremely difficult to evaluate, especially if you have no experience with investments.

Using a small amount of money to "gamble" is fine since it could just work out and has much better chances than playing the lottery or a casino.

But it would be an extremely bad idea for someone with no serious experience to put a large amount of money into ICOs.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 26, 2017, 04:10:42 PM
Both for definite, the thing is, both have their plus and minus points, in this day and age Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are far more practical but if the world does end you'll still want to have gold and silver on hand just in case, it's also a lot easier to store crypto's for the long run.
Yes exactly as of now gold is still preferred over bitcoins because it can be traded for cash anytime and anywhere unlike bitcoins.
But one can't predict future, who knows bitcoin may rule over all other currencies in the near future so we should consider about investing in bitcoins too.
This is only partially true. You can't trade Gold anywhere and anytime and depending on your specific circumstances it might even be easier to swap Bitcoins into cash than Gold.

Why does in my account "Signature Matches?" specified as Jonior? I was clothe the HERO signature on! And stakes shown only 6, when I wrote almost 20 messages  x 5 stake.
Probably still will be corrected.

There is a reporting error with the crawler right now and they are working on fixing it. So there's no thing to worry about.

Another thing that I would like to mention though, is that the spreadsheet file is corrupted and can not be opened (at least in OpenOffice).

Thanks for the quick response. Explained and reassured!)). And about the spreadsheet everything is now clear.

Although the same spreadsheet error occurs on Excel too, you can still view it when you press ok.
I can't view it in OpenOffice even if I press ok or repair. Would love to see this fixed so I can check the spreadsheet.

if you understand the start-ups, then you can increase your funds at a minimum of 2X, but this is not accurate)
This is not just inaccurate, it's not very useful information either.

You are missing a time window, and without that any remark like "at least 2X" is completely meaningless. Do you mean one month? One day? One year? One minute? And you clearly pulled 2X out of nowhere too...
236  Other / Off-topic / Re: still haven't got a job on: October 25, 2017, 12:49:53 AM
Why do you want a job in the first place? Do you absolutely need one or do you just want money and could keep living with your parents for a while? If its the latter look into making money online instead. Jobs are terrible unless you enjoy doing them.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will we see all altcoins red when Segwit2x will be near ? on: October 24, 2017, 11:16:22 PM
What happened before Bitcoin Cash fork and Bitcoin Gold fork will happen again before Bitcoin Segwit2x fork. Anyone wants to have Bitcoin Segwit2x as much as possible.
I personally don't care about any of the forked "Bitcoins". Wasn't even aware of anyone mentioning the Segwit2x fork either and I haven't read about any exchanges crediting it yet.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 24, 2017, 10:12:19 PM
I will convert it to gold if the condition is to turn the entire wealth because gold is reliable and is valued since long. Currently bitcoins is in vogue but we are not sure whether it will exist in future or not.
Scientific progress could end up making gold cheap to produce though. We just recently found out how all the gold in the universe was created, so it might not be too much longer until gold can be cheaply produced in a lab. This is just pure speculation though, and it might take decades even if true.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will we see all altcoins red when Segwit2x will be near ? on: October 24, 2017, 10:11:02 PM
Probably after Segwit2x gets implemented. The pullsbacks during the last two forks seemed to have occured due to the Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold snapshots... The Segwit2x fork doesn't have this kind of appeal to it. So Bitcoin might end up falling until the fork and then climbing either right after or briefly before the fork.
