2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of SHIBA Inu, is this the end of the Road? on: December 28, 2021, 09:20:32 PM
Previously I was also the most amazing person on Memecoin like Shiba Inu because the community that Shiba Inu grew up with was great, but now it seems to me that Shiba Inu is about to end its heyday as a memecoin competitor to Dogecoin.
No, it's not, I still remember how they forced Binance to list their coin just from the pressure they were able to build on the Binance through Twitter. Even now when I visit Twitter at times, I see a lot of tweets about babydoge and shiba token which shows that they are still standing strong.

That said, I am not confident holding such tokens because again it's all about hype and once the dust settles down, only a handful who were sharp traders and managed to sell at the right time will be in the profit. Those who are holding these tokens in the hope that it will reach $1 at some point are those who will pay for such sharp traders because the money has to come in the market from somewhere.
2202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the NFTs on: December 28, 2021, 08:53:43 PM
NFt has become a big phenomenon in the crypto market and is getting stronger and becoming a prima donna, indeed 2021 will be the year where NFT takes over the interests of investors, but if in 2022 NFT does not make innovations or new offerings that can increase investors' interest, NFT will not will be as good as 2021.
I disagree. The nft market is only going to grow further given its popularity and its scope. I agree that maybe the market and the expansion charts will get stable and weaker than what we had in 2021 but that is solely because every industry has a sharp growth and then it simply stabilizes.

There are games built that have tradeable nfts and we can actually earn playing those games. I think there just needs to be more clarity on how nfts are used and how one can make sure that what they hold is a real nft and not an image copied from google. There are sellers on fiverr selling nft for a few bucks but then there are others selling it for thousands of bucks so it just doesn't make sense for new traders who step in this market.
2203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy alts at the right time? on: December 27, 2021, 09:45:43 PM
Now is the time to buy altcoins while the price of the majority top coins in the market are not moving yet as often according in the chart graph. As you can see the resistance is very smooth and we know that anytime it can suddenly pump and dump the price more where it could be after a minutes, seconds, hour, day, weekly or weekend.
I always feel when the market is subdued, it's best to either stay away from investing too much or just buy Bitcoins which we all know will never become zero, unlike other coins. That or you can buy solid coins like BNB or ETH because they have a real use case and tokens are built on them so they won't collapse overnight.

i still go with the basic buy at the dip and sell when its peak. With bitcoin and altcoins, for me it still works. But there is higher risk when it comes to altcoins particularly for new projects as they tend to have high potentials to have higher value at first, but when the market suddenly dumps, unfortunately most of them did not recover again.

It's almost as if the market has been divided into 2 sections. The ones who like high volatility trade new altcoins and the ones who are serious investors or traders and cannot afford to risk in the volatile altcoin market are sticking with BTC or just known alts that are in top 20 in the CMC.
2204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Bull Market will Start on: December 25, 2021, 12:22:15 PM
Everybody can we expect Bull market in January 2022, Can bitcoin create his ATH in 2022.
This must be a million dollar question and if anyone knows the exact time frame of beginning of bullish trend then they could become a billionaire somehow (by loaning money for short period of time to trade in derivatives with maximum leverage). I mean like yourself here everyone looks into the future with a blindfold and only time will reveal all those surprises.

Moreover, last days bitcoin is trading above $50k levels which must be a good sign about the beginning of bullish market which may continue into 2022 as well.
2205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: December 24, 2021, 07:23:47 PM
as for the number of consecutive losses; five will be the alarming figure to make me take a pause.
Five? That must be a dangerous approach as it may risk most of your capital.

If you set stoploss at 5% then for five losing trades you may lose more than 30% (not just 25%) which must be a high risk one in my experiences. I know people who are setting different stoploss levels for different trades still waiting until five trades is not looking as a good approach to me.

Maximum two consecutive losing trades should be a limit if you really do not want to top up your capital more frequently. Just imagine if you make 4 consecutive losing trade and then making one profitful trade and then facing 5 more losing trade; do you think you will still have remaining capital for next day trading?
2206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc ath february 2022 on: December 24, 2021, 08:54:45 AM
Usually when the bull market starts when everyone together believes that there will be a revolution in the market or believe that the market will be positive then everyone starts a new investment and ultimately runs the market bull.
That must be a good point and in my understanding that kind of belief is the core reason for FOMO. When people start thinking like it's time for bullish trend then even short term holders might alter their plans. So, this time majority of this community started believing about the continuation of bullish trend into next year hence there are 100% chances for a new ATH in the next year.

Many are thinking that this is a hype that will start next February. If everyone starts it together we will get the new ATH on February,2022.
Yeah, when we help the hype to get more intensified then we can expect the ATH to happen quicker than we could speculate; I mean when more people believe about ATH in February then it may happen in January itself Wink.
2207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise or fall. on: December 24, 2021, 07:14:48 AM
Today's world, Bitcoin is the talk of the town and its price is constantly being talked positively and big institutional investors are coming.
Yeah, compared what we had last year or by this time of last 4 year cycle, we are having big hype about bitcoin in main stream media which must be more than enough factor to keep bitcoin moving up. Today bitcoin again entered into above $50k levels which must be a good sign for the confirming of having a new ATH by the first week of 2022; yeah for that we need to close this year above $60k levels which seems highly possible as of now.

We need bitcoin to be sustaining above $50k to $55k levels for this week which will lead and help to close above $60k levels. I guess some institution started accumulating bitcoin right now hence it seems bitcoin again entered into bullish trend as of now.
2208  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: December 24, 2021, 05:19:38 AM
The same is situation with almost every currency and that's why we need bitcoin as the main source to protect us from coming inflation or say super inflation situations that could be more worse than they might seem to you.Bitcoin is the exit policy from all such worries.
For the worst consequence of inflation, deflationary currency might be a solution but practically I am seeing bitcoin is slowly turning as an asset rather than being a currency (I agree an asset is still capable of serving as currency and cannot be an alternate to fiats).

Limited supply obviously makes a currency into asset class which again leads to high volatile nature. A highly fluctuating entity may not remain as a preferred payment method as people may need to hold them even for short period of time for any reason (monthly salary is common practice worldwide which means we need to hold/save fiats at least for 30 days and if we lose even 5% value in 30 days of time that might again impact negatively).
2209  Economy / Economics / Re: NFT and art theft on: December 23, 2021, 09:56:17 PM
I'm so curious what will happen if somebody mints two identical NFT on different chains and two different poeple buy it, so they've bought the rights for, what?
You supposedly trust the author/artist that they won't reproduce their work. Don't you do the same thing in real life? It's just that in real life they're much more discouraged to make many copies.  Tongue

This has been answered: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/111054

I have an other question:  What happens if in the far future, tangible items are sold as NFTs, but the owner decides to burn them? The market has to imply with the government's laws, 'cause I don't see the opposite happening; you can't just sell a house unofficially. Even if you do, what happens if the owner of the house loses the private key?
You do not really trust them exactly... I mean yeah they can sell you "one of a kind" thing but then create 10k more of the same thing a day later, but you are holding the "original" in that case. If it is just one thing that they minted, and then they go ahead and water it down by minting more, you are not really earning anything else here because technically the imagine is the same image but at the same time the NFT is a different one so you are not getting screwed here. Of course, it is distasteful and of course you need to have some smart people to see the difference but you still hold a rare one in that case anyway.

We had cryptokitties the same way, it was said to be rare and only a few gen 0 will be available so everyone attacked and bought for high prices years ago, now we all know how many new  stuff they keep on printing and devaluing it. So, it is not that easy for sure.
2210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They say hardware wallets are the safest on: December 23, 2021, 09:34:39 PM
Why do they say that? Correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't, hardware wallet, a hardware like usb, that generates private keys without being online on the internet?

Why do I not like them? Because, in addition with a txt file that you can encrypt with many ways and save it in many places, if your hardware stops working, you're a dead man. And you're going to fix it somewhere? Not that recommended. If you're a paranoid of course.

Prove me wrong, by not telling me the cons of software wallet. Prove me wrong, by telling me the pros of hardware wallet.
Well, you can’t have 100% of everything. When it comes to being safe, hardware wallets are very safe than other type of wallets that you are going to see. When your money is stored in a hardware wallet there is no way that it would be hacked easily As they would other wallets. The only disadvantage is that when you lose it your coins are gone, and that is why I said that you can’t have 100% of everything.

Everything that has an advantage is always going to have the bad part of it. It’s just up to you to be aware of those disadvantages, and be careful and try to avoid them as much as possible. Personally I’ve not used a hardware wallet, and have never had any issues at all.
2211  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice for the season. on: December 23, 2021, 09:11:16 PM
Don't bend to societal pressure of over spending during this festive season, make serious plans for the celebrations and the coming year, Don't fall into the trap or bend to the pressure of selling off a percentage of your cryptos to  spend this festive season, a new year is coming. January is usually a long month that carries along a lot of expenses, make plans and preparations now for tomorrow, spend wisely today.
I am guessing that there is going to be a holiday spirit in most of the world, if you are living in a Christian place then Christmas could be present, or even if you are not in a Christian nation there could be some festivities, and most importantly new years is new year's everywhere around the world. I am guessing that the next week could be a little boring, I can't know this, I am just assuming it but by the looks of it people are looking at these coming days as holidays. Which is why I am assuming that there is a good chance we could end up with very little volatility, very little trading volume and even maybe a very little liquidity available as well.
2212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: December 23, 2021, 08:36:20 PM
the correlation between bitcoins and the alt coins is very high. That is why our investment into crypto currencies should be a large part into bitcoins. The diversification doesn't really work here, but it works in a broader spectrum like you diversify out of stocks, bonds and other investment funds. So bitcoin alone is already a diversification from your conventional assets. In my opinion diversification becomes important again when investing into alt coins, because when one alt coin is going to drop in price then this is not pulling down any of the other coins. Alt coins are much more risky and if we spread out our money across multiple coins the risk profile is much lower.
I would say that large part of it should be bitcoin because for me that is the only coin that I feel guaranteed to be strong and not have any problems and have the highest trust. Don't get me wrong ETH is great and all, and there are a few others, but BTC still is the coin that I trust the most.

Not because it would be the biggest earner, let's be honest in any given year there are other coins which gained a lot more than bitcoin ever did, we have seen 100x stuff in other places, bitcoin rarely ever does 100x in a single year, maybe on early times but not sure even if that happened. So, for me, we should invest into bitcoin because we trust it the most, not because it will earn us the most.
2213  Economy / Economics / Re: It been said about usa economy many times now its here on: December 23, 2021, 07:06:58 PM
It's quite reminiscent of the same plot. You gave me a glimpse into the past with enough like-minded people to lead us to completely opposite opinions. I didn't follow him much in the past, but when you mentioned his name, I tried to find out and it turned out that the person had the same characteristics. This is just a possible coincidence. But by creating a spam thread, I'm most likely still waiting for someone else to show proof.
I am guessing that there are some people (or same person) who ended up realizing that if you say something that is exactly the opposite of people are thinking then you will get attention here. This is why we are seeing these type of topics all the time, plus "merit" is something very valuable these days, I do not agree that people should be writing for merit but there are a lot of people who write for gaining some as well, combine these two together and you are going to get opposite reaction topics who are seeking opposite people with merit in their hands.

Not going to lie, USD is going to shit, it is a matter of few years like this and we may start talking about USD as a shitcoin to be fair, I am not arguing against that, I rather have 500k in bitcoin then in USD, it doesn't matter when you have as little as me since I end up spending mine before inflation kicks in anyway, but if I had a lot of money I rather use bitcoin so I partly agree with OP, even though the topic is definitely a spam one.
2214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bullish Scenario - Minimum will reach $75000 on: December 22, 2021, 09:54:01 PM
several times bitcoin tried to rise but failed to rise above $50k but what the good thing is the strong resistance of bitcoin's market price of $45k is still in the line so I would like to think positively this time that maybe we will gonna see a good market value of bitcoin this coming holidays or even before the year 2021 ends. I do hope for a good market value of crypto today however I do also prepare myself for any worst-case scenario and my stop-loss technique were always on the rescue whatever the situation may happen.
We just feel confused whenever these type of things happens. I mean we feel very happy that we are seeing that 45k support being so strong and not allowing the price to drop too much, that is a great thing right? But we also see that bitcoin is not doing that well on going higher to 50k+ as well so we are sad about it. We are just stuck between 45k to 50k range and that will have to pass one day. Which direction it will pass? We do not know, but let's hope that it will be to a 50k+ price range and break another ATH because it allows everyone to earn money (aside from people who short bitcoin).

I have to say that bitcoin looks better lately, but it doesn't look like there is going to be a bull run, it just feels like some people accumulated and turned that into profit but it is really not that big and we should not be really too hyped about the current situation, at least not yet.
2215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is still in a downward trend, will it last long or temporarily? on: December 22, 2021, 08:59:20 PM
We are now almost to the end of December but the price is still not back to $50,000 and stays at the $48,000 level price. I don't know how long it will be like this because bitcoin is not showing the progress to go up. But in this situation, we should be happy because the bitcoin price is not getting down. So maybe we can conclude that the bitcoin price movement is still at the current level and is only waiting for the next good momentum to increase. It could be the next year or it still needs longer to start increasing.
It doesn't have to be over 50k to show everyone how it is recovering, it already recovered so much and that is good enough for me. Doesn't mean that I do not want to see it go up even higher, just means that in order to call it "doing good", I do not expect it to be doing 5x suddenly, just a bit of recovery close to 50k is more than enough for me to call it doing good.

Obviously there is room for improvement, maybe we will see it go to 100k in 2022 and that would be a lot better, but that is in the future and I do not want to judge bitcoin on short term movements and definitely not when it is doing so well. All in all we are doing fine and I am happy about it.
2216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bear market? on: December 22, 2021, 08:21:54 PM
I'm just curious is bear market really coming? If yes what do you think will cause the next bear market?
So what's your definition about the bearish market? is not it when market facing a bearish trend? and that's happened a few days ago. We are in the bearish market as the price of bitcoin was plunged so hard but i must also remind you that if this time crypto market is unpredictable. You can buy cheap coins at this moment and that means if we are in the bearish market. That's quite different when you can only buy coin at peak price and that's bullish market.
I would say we are not really in a bearish market, it seems like it is doing fine right now. 50K is not a bearish market, it was closer to 45k just recently and we are now doing a lot better. Which is why I feel like we are doing fine so far and that is why I would not say it is bearish. I am not saying it is bullish neither, all I am saying is that it is not bearish, we are right in the middle right now and that is doing fine. This is why I feel like we are talking about something that is mild and not hyped at all, it is just a regular market movement, nothing exciting, no bear no bull no correction no recovery nothing at all, it is just plain old boring market.
2217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we avoid scams in blockchain? on: December 22, 2021, 06:38:04 PM
There are many projects and each shows users big plans and ambitions. But as practice shows, not all projects keep their word and people often lose money by investing in the wrong project.

Recently I came across a project that was created to solve this problem - CheckDot. They have a nice strategy for checking and verifying projects, which seems to be useful.
How exactly does this CheckDot you’re talking about identify projects that are scam and the ones that are legit? A little explanation on how it works would suffice. Anyways I still be making use of the old method that I use whenever I want to find a project that is legit or scam. You just have to follow the process –the first thing I do when I happen to get any interest on any project is that I get to know their team first; there is a lot to do with this – you have to know whether the team are truly who they claim to be by thoroughly researching them.

The next thing I have to look at is their whitepaper – this is very important before you start talking about flashy websites and the rest of them. A whitepaper will show you the background, goals, strategy, concerns, and time line of that project you’re about to get yourself involved.

There’s a lot to do with the whitepaper and it’s going to help you decide whether it’s something you want to be a part of or not. Then you have to look at the token sale, and how feasible is the project, even after all that you still have to exercise caution. So talking about the CheckDot website, is it really going to do all that for you, and how does it do that?
2218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 21, 2021, 09:38:17 PM
San Antonio Spurs DESTROYED clippers. This is what I want to see from my team, playing a very fast paced game on both defense and in transition, we are a young team which means that as long as we get to gamble on defense and just move around, we are going to close out anyone we face, par from warriors maybe, and since we are young then we can run in transition and that is what we did amazingly this game as well because when defense is not set then they can't stop us as easily, our offense at half court is not great so transition is where we make our bread. Hopefully we will get a lot more results like this, it will definitely help the confidence of the young stars.
2219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always take profit on: December 21, 2021, 05:50:48 PM
It is good hear but do note that you should not let small profits from a trades act like small doses of dopamine which make you addicted to it. Rather use it as a source of motivation for bigger profits.

Bad days will happen and in trading these are opportunities to introspect into possible mistakes and chances to rethink your strategy. While losses do have a mental trauma, you can stick to the positive side and learn from them.

For beginners paper trading should be the first thing to start with. You should not jump into the real market right away. Do it on paper, check how much profit you made of how effective your prediction was.
Unfortunately not many people can see the benefits whenever the price drops. I get that there are a lot of people who do not understand why the price drops and focus on that part most of the time but the reality is that we are talking about something that is profitable in the long term so why it happened doesn't really matter to be fair.

So, if you focus on why it dropped or how it could recover or will it continue to drop and many other things like that, then you are going to end up losing a lot of money. What you should focus on is how you could make a profit from this down trend and if you could buy some more and wait as long as you have to, then you are going to profit. This is emotionally not that easy, watching your money drop like crazy is a very hard thing for many people and that means we need to realize it is going to be very difficult to watch but it will worth it in the end.
2220  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $450k xmas giveaway! | VIP | on: December 21, 2021, 05:19:33 PM
Anyone lucky person to win something from Twitter competitions or giveaways ? I've tried, but the gods of random were not on my side.

Also, what is "200 likes for a code drop from ace, if we manage to get 300 likes we will drop two!" ? What is this ? Code for some coins, and the first and quickest one gets it?

Is there anyone who got free rolls from daily gift box? So far I've got only coins. Even though I've spent some of them in slots, I would be more happy to have free spins, instead of spending free money from the box Cheesy

This is my first time participating in such xmas promotion and I am amazed how generous Duelbits is with prizes.
Redeem code as far as I am aware of it, I never received one before so I can't really talk about it that way, but I could say that it looks like a redeem code if you ask me. Most places have that option and whenever you are given a code, you end up redeeming it somewhere. Gift boxes are usually small amounts of coins, and gift box is a bit more rare I am assuming, or at least for me it is like that as well.

All in all this place does give out so many things that sometimes it is hard to follow it up. Do not get your hopes up about the giveaways being this awesome, they always give away so many things but xmas part of it is a newer one that got extra amounts in it.
