2221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin main use case now on: December 11, 2021, 11:55:00 AM
Btc main use case now is this:
Bitcoin is good market prices indicator to show just wich way all other coins likely will go.

If there is another reasons to use ....its unlikely.
People say specially traders that btc price is good indicator also to show wich way altcoins might go.
For payments and moving funds the stablecoins are definately best ones.
Well, it’s an indicator for where majority of the market lies, but that’s not for all the coins in the market, there are still a lot of coins that don’t rely or correlates with bitcoin’s price at all. So, if you’re going to be thinking that every of the coins in the market would go up when bitcoin goes up, then I am sorry to say that you would be wrong by thinking that such is how it is in the market.

Bitcoin is still being used as a method of payment till this day, and is still preferred more than other coins there is in the market. No matter how things might seem to you today, maybe because of the fees, yes I do know that, but it still beats others in usage rate. The stablecoins you are talking about are nowhere near when we talk of usage rate, you’d hardly see them being accepted by anyone.
2222  Economy / Economics / Re: Introducing a state-issued cryptocurrency on: December 10, 2021, 12:32:08 PM
Union Finance Ministry has take a decision on a state-issued cryptocurrency soon but ban all private cryptocurrencies. The VHP leader had sought a ban on all cryptocurrencies alleging its usage to fund terrorism, drugs and other 'anti national activities'. As all private cryptocurrencies are still not considered as legal tender or coin in India, but the govt may introduce an official digital currency in India.
It’s unnecessary for them to ban bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I know that majority of them these days now wants to create their own digital currencies (CBDC), but that is not enough reason for them to ban bitcoin. If they are saying that bitcoin is being used for funding terrorism, drugs, and other antinational activities, then they should prove it.

Do they have any proof at all that it has been used for one of those in any way, thereby affecting the country? If they do, then they should provide the proof that shows that what they have said is the truth. Not just making assumptions all the time to put things in their favour, it doesn’t make any sense at all.
2223  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Stability - Get yourself non ending economic circle. on: December 10, 2021, 08:49:27 AM
If I had a product, I would say 10% cut from sales of it to everyone, not just sales people, the whole world would be my sales person and I would actually do pay that. It is usually called affiliate marketing, and I would gain a lot of customers just because I am keeping my sales people happy. So do not be discouraged by one asshole who didn't pay you, that's on him, not the business.
Yeah I agree, we are slow earners, but our expenses are usually way too more than what we are earning. Even when we start earning a high amount of money, some of us still tends to spend way too much and carelessly. Which is why we need to learn how to manage our resources. I even reached a stage where I had to start putting about fifty percent of my monthly income into a locked savings account, because I noticed that I was fond of spending money on unnecessary things, when I had other very important plans that I had to achieve. So, I had to do what was best for me and started managing myself to be able to achieve my major targets in life.
2224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 09, 2021, 10:39:36 PM
It was a wonderful game to watch but a bit unexpected at the same time. Bayern managed to win and Barcelona is going to europa right now, I am sure that is not something europa teams would love to hear but it has finally happened.

I do not remember the last time they were this bad to be honest, must have been over a decade since they were not going to next stage, or maybe I am just not remembering any time. Bayern on the other hand, I was really expecting Lewandowski to score many games because of the ballon dor thing, and he didn't at all, it was a weird one because of it, I totally expected him to demonstrate why he deserved in that game, and he failed to do so.
2225  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Economic Advantage on: December 09, 2021, 09:44:15 PM
I reside in a country where the rate of inflation is high with a corrupted political system and tenures that have stolen the collective wealth of the nation and have crippled the economy, a high percentage of unemployed graduates who have in the last few years discovered blockchain and have gotten involved in Bitcoin activities such as trading and investments. Indeed Bitcoin has given us the economic power to overcome the crashing economy of many nations. 100% economic independent.
Cryptocurrency is a good investment for the youths in your country. I know for sure that it is going to help a lot of them and they will become financially stable. But personally, I don’t think that this is going to be the solution to the bad economy that your government has created in the country for you all. But like I said, it is quite possible that most of the youths that are going to be investing in cryptocurrency, as long as they are doing it right, they are going to be financially stable.

As for the issue of the bad economy, I think this is something that can be solved in another means, and not really through cryptocurrency. People do misunderstand what Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is all about, this is not the purpose of it. If you people have plans to fix your economy, then you should fight towards having a better government.
2226  Economy / Economics / Re: No where is actually safe on: December 09, 2021, 09:06:17 PM
formal knowledge got when you try something new, and most of us know bitcoin from experiencing good and bad thing.
its not easy like play easy game, every investment need strong thought, to surf deeper, to take big profit. and easy investment is just following third party that just give you clean profit every week/month. no need to think about what to do, just prepare you funds.
It is totally understandable if we just try to gain experience if we could. That would be a better thing and we would be able to just get better and better over time, it is really a great situation for everyone involved. Sure you are going to end up with some losses and that is why many people do not try it but theory could get you only to a level whereas everything else will make you a lot richer.

If we end up buying at low levels and sell at higher levels then it doesn't matter how long it takes to profit, it would give us a great chance to make a profit over period of long time when we are newbies and we will get better at doing it and can be able to do it quicker as well. So just start doing it right away, learn from your mistakes, see how the better version could be done and you are going to end up with making a lot more profit in the long run.
2227  Economy / Economics / Re: CHINA Banning bitcoin: PBOC Says All Crypto-Related Transactions Are Illegal on: December 09, 2021, 02:42:42 PM
I don't know why they oppose cryptocurrency. They know they cannot pause/stop the crypto revolution. These economists know that their investment could be in jeopardy because of Bitcoin. Where the whole world has taken Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as the currency of the future. There are some stupid economists out there talking nonsense like crazy. But whether they tell the truth, or lie, because of these comments, sometimes the market got affected. They regret why they did not invest in Bitcoin before. But the face does not express it. If you secretly offer them some bitcoin, they will not reject the offer. Instead, they will take the loop as soon as they get the offer. Although many of us do not listen to them. But those who are new to Bitcoin are hesitant about these comments. We cannot stop them. But, We can create awareness against stupids like Munger through the community.
They have been saying the same thing like every single year. I’m even getting tired of seeing this particular news of China banning cryptocurrency, seriously it is starting to get on my nerves. If you have been following up with the news years back, you will keep seeing that the news are saying that China has banned cryptocurrency, we are always seeing a particular news that has to do or relates with that, so my question is how many times are they going to ban cryptocurrency?

If they are really banning cryptocurrency from their country, then why don’t they do it at once? Or is this just the media that is playing with people’s mind? Anyways, it has gotten past the level where this kind of news bothers me anymore, I just don’t care whether they ban cryptocurrency or not. It’s all their choice over there, if they decide that they want to ban cryptocurrency then it’s their business.
2228  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a clear sign of high inflation? on: December 09, 2021, 02:08:38 PM
it’s not stocks that get devalued, it’s the currency. Increasing inflation is a effect of the money printer. It increases the money supply, and therefore increases demand, and increases the prices of stocks, real estate, used cars, almost everything. Then because of it, it creates bottlenecks on the supply side, causing inflation to increase further/faster.
This is quite bad, and it is as if no one wants to fix this problem of inflation. It just got worse during this coronavirus pandemic. For the fact that people had to stay indoors, during the lockdowns and then things are also getting costly to the extent that most of them wouldn’t be able to achieve it, that’s very bad.  It’s really got a lot of things destabilized this year. I know how costly things got in my country and people are just finding it difficult.

There were even people who lost their job as a result of the pandemic as well. Those are the ones who I pity the most. Especially the ones who have families to take care of. Solving this issue of inflation should be a priority for the government. Printing too much money wasn’t really a way to go, because they knew this was going to affect the economy later.
2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 08, 2021, 08:59:38 PM
One game that I am expecting an unexpected result could be City vs Wolves. I know that Wolves haven't been good in a while and I know that City is dominating right now. This is why everyone is expecting City to win, and 90%+ chance that will be true.

However Wolves is not really bad against big teams they have a chance to actually beat City if they are on their good day, I do not expect it to be a guaranteed at all, I still believe that City has the biggest chance in that game for sure, but if we are talking about upsets and better odds then Wolves definitely look like they could pull one right here. Otherwise all the other games look predictable as always.
2230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoiner's with Zero investment. on: December 08, 2021, 07:45:10 PM
Some bitcoiner's haven't invested a single $ in bitcoin till now, there are many early adopters who haven't invested a single dollar in cryptocurrencies.
maybe many of you who entered during 2017 bull run will not believe it, but it's true many are still here who never invested anything in cryptocurrencies.
If you are the one its beautiful to share your story as this may become an interesting talk...
I have not invested anything in cryptocurrency since I got to know about it. Everything I have been getting is through the works that I have been doing. Although the first time that I got to know about Bitcoin, I was making use of the Xapo wallet and there were really some cool ways that one could earn those days and one of them was through faucets that were paying really well then and as the market kept increasing in value, the Satoshis got through these faucets comes to worth even more.

But, faucets were not my main source of income, got a lot of contracts through LinkedIn and usually told my clients to pay me through Bitcoin, and that was how I was able to gather huge amounts of Bitcoin.
2231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best DeFi Projcet 2021-2022 on: December 07, 2021, 09:54:06 PM
In your opinion, what is the DeFi project to keep on radar and study and which DeFi projects do you consider new gems and have you already bought them?
I still feel very much in love with UNI and Cake. I know that they are cliche and I know that they are not really possessing any "jazz" to it. They are not some stoic "viva la revolocion" "destroy the banks" "be your own bank" cool hip cats. Sure they are ordinary at this point because people are already bored with them.

What we need to realize is that many people all around the world hates banks, banks are hated as a business model more than any other business, I hate them more than anything else in the world and yet they are making incredibly amounts of profit, and even if they do not, they bribe some politicians and get bailed out. That is what matters to me, UNI and Cake may get boring and even get hated eventually but they are too good and they will keep on being superbly priced and keep on increasing as well, people may hate them, but they will keep on using them.
2232  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 07, 2021, 09:09:47 PM
The value will be appreciated if these NFT's have some utility like in the casino but if you say just spending money on some jpeg image which doesn't have any use case so what's the fun of holding them i don't know but speaking about Rollbots they are growing due to many reasons and benefits they are giving to the holders.
Smaller gamblers could be in more advantage if you ask me. The reason for this is the fact that we are talking about whales spending so much money and they could have done a lot more with that money. 25k dollars gambled here could have been invested into some shitcoin that went up 7x suddenly because of some viral hype (totally undeserved but happened) and they would have 175k instead of 25k.

My 50 bucks could have been 350 bucks, sure not bad but totally not that life changing neither. So, as small time gamblers we are gambling with money even we do not care about, but the whole world doesn't care about at the same time, whereas rich people end up gambling with money that they do not care about but the amount of money that people do care about, and could use it to create amazing stuff. How many of you could build a startup from nothing with 25k? Some whales spend that on a single bet.
2233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to improve a bitcoin site's Google ranking on: December 07, 2021, 08:36:56 PM
I recently launch a local community site for bitcoiners in Northern Ireland at https://nibitcoin.com and https://forum.nibitcoin.com.

Unfortunately we launched the site 5 weeks ago, but Google is refusing to rank us for bitcoin terms, and it also doesn't allow me to run adwords campaigns, so we're struggling to gain any traffic.
I do understand your struggles, but you can’t launch a website within just few days or weeks, or even months and it will start ranking very high on Google immediately. Itall requires being hard working, and writing good contents, and then utilizing SEO to be able to get your website to rank high on Google. Search engine optimization (as you know) is very important for content creators to make their websites rank high.

So, you have to look into this, or you can hire a professional in the area of search engine optimization to work on your website and help it achieve a better rank. Then when creating your contents, try to make use of words that are going to be ranking higher, such words that people are more likely to put into the search bar on Google, that means that your contents should be optimized for Search engines.
2234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the Bitcoin symbol going to be added to the keyboard? on: December 07, 2021, 06:51:27 AM
Adding the Bitcoin symbol to the keyboard will scream "ADOPTION". The question is where to put the key? I would suggest they replace the $ with the bitcoin symbol... just kidding. However, it gotta go somewhere, what do you think?
I think other people are right with what they have said, there is more possibility of it being added through emojis, but we don’t know whether they would be officially added to the keyboard button where you can find the dollar, euro and other currency symbols. I even used to think that the bitcoin symbol has been added, but that maybe it wasn’t just available in my country yet. Because, I once saw a news that said that Google keyboard now has the Bitcoin symbol on its list of currency symbols.

So, I thought that it has been available for years, until now that I’m seeing this topic or thread. Anyways we’re just going to wait and see whatever they would want to do about it, if they decide that they’re going to add it,  then it’s up to them. For me it’s not really necessary, whether they add it or not there is still going to be an adoption for Bitcoin.
2235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your Expectation About Polygon (MATIC) Token for 2022 on: December 06, 2021, 09:59:13 PM
what's your expectations about Polygon (MATIC) Cryptocurrency for 2022?
Having a big increase in the price wouldn't be shock at this moment, but it is also a bit of a problem when you consider the fact that it is not something guaranteed neither. It is a big of a problem and that's the key here, if you are not sure what's going to happen then I am not going to invest into anything that I am not 100% sure about. I believe that matic has a great L2 situation and that means that we are going to see them doing fine, so this is why I believe that I am going to invest in the near future. But the problem is that ETH gas fee is the reason why Matic got this much attention, which means that if ETH is doing better, then Matic would be doing bad.
2236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never sell for a loss - is a Myth !! on: December 06, 2021, 09:18:06 PM
I have heard many people say that never sell for a loss but what does it actually mean ?

Assuming you have bought a coin at $10 and the price goes down to $9 but you don't sell.
You could have placed a stop loss at $9 but you take "Never sell at a loss" so seriously that you decide to not put a stop loss.
The price goes down to $8 but you are too good at HODL. Suddenly the market crashes and the price goes down to $5.
You could have limited your losses at $9 but now your portfolio is down by 50%.
Now the price has to go 100% so that you breakeven with no loss no profit whereas you could have bought back at $5 and gained potential profits using a stop loss.

This is why I think "Never sell for a loss" is a myth and we should always use a stop loss and play safe with a good risk to reward strategy.
Well you are right, and those who also say that you shouldn’t sell for a loss are kind of right. This is a 50/50 chance, and you know why? Because, the market is uncertain. You can’t tell what is going to be the next move of that coin that you have invested in, there are times that you will sell your coin and the market will start going up again, and by the time you will try to get back, it will be above that $10 that you have purchased it before, and you will now have to buy at a higher price when you are not even sure if the price will continue to move up.

And also like you have said, the market can also go down and still continue to go down which would be a loss, if youdon't sell at all. So it’s just a 50/50 chance, if you know what is right at that time just do it. If a project seems right, then it might be worth holding it for long term, but if it’s not, then you might have to stop loss.
2237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TECHNICAL ANALYSIS on: December 06, 2021, 05:48:05 PM
every top trader places high value on technical analysis knowledge and its application. for everyone that aims to be a successful trader must learn to study and understand technical analysis so as to be able to sigh read charts , interprete and place trades. please kindly share some tips and material links, journals for newbies and anyone who wants to brush up their knowledge on technical analysis.
Of course, technical analysis is a very important skill that every newbie trader is meant to acquire before they start trading. But there’s usually a misconception that I see among newbie traders; they think that after learning technical analysis that there will be nothing like loss again for them when it comes to trading. But that is not the truth, technical analysis will only let you see the opportunities, and then you take that opportunity to make profit from the market. It doesn’t guarantee that you will be making profit 100% of the time that you place a trade.

But, the good thing is that it will help you to improve, and your chances of making profit in the market will be very, very high. As for how you will learn technical analysis, there are lots of websites that you can make use of, some of them you have to pay for it, while some of them are being offered for free. You can check out dailyFX, or you check out investopedia.com and search for articles on technical analysis.
2238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: December 05, 2021, 09:45:47 PM
Now many of the new projects are interested in meme coins. You can invest in meme coins at the initial stage of their promotion, when the hype is just starting to gain momentum. It is necessary to correctly determine the time of profit fixation, as well as to withdraw capital on time, otherwise you can lose money. I don't like to take risks like that. and I like projects more, and those that come for a long time, for example Muzicoin.io. It is a technology created to develop a global phonographic market with the concept of distributing cryptocurrency rewards through music and interactivity on the Muzi platform. Now you can participate in the IEO of this project on the Coinsbit exchange.
Isn't that super scary? I mean sure, you could invest very early on, even before they release, during their IDO or whatever offering method they are using, and after they release you could sell within first hours and make 2x quickly if you are lucky enough. That is all understood and fine but that just doesn't make sense to me at all when we are talking about matter of hours.

I am investing into crypto for profiting in many decades, if I keep doing this per project that means I need to be checking it constantly and being online at all times to make sure that I do not miss out on the best time to sell. It is not the ideal method, but it could be the most profitable method, I wouldn't know since I do not test it. So all in all I would say it is risky and I would advise against it if you are new, or you do not have too much money to afford losing.
2239  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your analysis says about btc in Q1 of 2022?? on: December 05, 2021, 08:45:53 PM
This year is about to end. On December in 2020, btc was around $18k. That time bull run started and With the start of 2021, btc made itself almost double of its price within 1month. Then again Record Ath on $63k. Suddenly it dumped near $32k on july but again bounce back and makes us surprise with many ATH for the whole year (last one was near $68k on 9th november). So what is your analysis says? Btc will doing good on start of 2022 or bear run could be seen for long term after we enter 2022
I am 99% sure that there will be an increase in the first Q, however we can't guarantee anything in the crypto world, anything could happen and we will be standing here wondering why that thing we did not expected happened. This doesn't mean that I will lose hope, it is clear to me that we are going to have a great time in 2022, we already had the fall twice this year, first one was during may when we dropped from 60k+ to all the way under 30k, and now from new ATH prices to under 50k again. That is just way too much of a fall to keep happening without any upwards movement, eventually it will happen for sure.

This is what I am aiming at, I rather have something that would be beneficial for everyone and gain something like 70k or even 80k in bitcoin while all other cryptocurrencies will have similar type of increases as well, maybe some of them will do even better.
2240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on sale, will the support continues to hold? on: December 04, 2021, 09:34:22 PM
Op Bitcoin price is already down below $50k and it may go down to around $43k before end of this month. This is not a wish but from the current trend of the market and how the festive season use to affect the crypto market in the past is what form this speculation.
I really do not like it when bitcoin price drops, it gives me a sad feeling knowing that there are some people who rely on their bitcoin to be at least stable if not profitable. However, I also have to say that even though I feel sad at one part, I also feel gleeful that I get to buy some more bitcoin for cheap. Not that I have too much money, specially these past 2 months or so wasn't really awesome, but I still have some saved aside just for days like these.

I will be able to buy a small amount once again, and not even going to use full of it, just going to end up buying with half and wait for it to drop more to use the other half, if not then so be it. If you approach crypto as "money gone" and forget about it for years and keep investing tiny bit each time it drops, in few decades I am hoping to be a very wealthy person. Can't say if I will be able to, but I sure do not think these drops matter for that.
