Orsic and Ademi have already left Dinamo this season, and if Livakovic and Petkovic leave, the current Dinamo team will not be competitive for Europe.
I hope that the new sports director Simic will find a way to strengthen the team for the next season.

The departure of Luka Ivanusec, who is mentioned in relation to Burnley, but also to another club from the Spanish Primera, was updated again. According to Transfermarket, the price of EUR 10 million should be much higher in the final agreement, so I have no doubt that Dinamo is ready to sell the entire first team if the price is right.

Regardless of who they bring to the team, it will take time for things to be arranged in the right way, which in translation would mean that the chances of playing in the Champions League next season are significantly reduced.

@CryptoHeadlineNews, didn't you understand anything from your previous thread when it comes to AI? You want to appear smart, but if you can't think for yourself, no AI chat will help you with that...

I was looking for experiences of specific users. This guy lost 25 000 to address poisoning, which seems new and therefore could surprise more users like him.
Are you telling me that this did not happen in the authentic ledger live app?
My goal is to raise awareness, not to spread panic.

This is not a hack like you are talking about in your previous posts, but a cheap trick that only the naive will fall for, and not even all the benefits of the hardware wallet will protect them from their own stupidity. That's why I wrote that you're brainwashing yourself by watching videos, and you don't understand the concept of "hacking" you're talking about at all, when in fact it's about simply exploiting human ignorance.

Neither Ledger as a device was hacked, nor their Ledger Live as an interface, nor does it have anything to do with Bitcoin - if you are interested in more, @Pmalek described what exactly it is about -> What are Address Poisoning Scams?

- all wallets allow you to setup a password for extra security. I don't see how is this a bad thing, especially when the pin is just 6 digits. Also, You don't have to remember the seed, and you probably shouldn't try to it either. It's better to write it down and store it somewhere safe.

Ledger has an option of 8 numbers in the PIN, although I think a 4-digit PIN can also be used. In the past, I read that the PIN is not something that is too difficult to hack when it comes to HW, although it may have been related to some vulnerability that was subsequently fixed.

Does anyone know of any special events happening at the conference this year? Last year they had the sound money fest as well, is there going to be another concert again like last year as well?

I think I read somewhere that there will be a competition for the most incredible story, and given that you have "fantastic fitness experiences", if you tell them that you met a man who knows the world's biggest secrets and who was having lunch with Putler and the Queen of England, I'm sure you'll win. As for the main prize, it will still be a big surprise Lips sealed

I think that some of those guys have lived too much in their own world and they don't realize that a lot of every country's economy doesn't care a bit about web 2.0, web 3.0, and the rest of the numbers till one quadrillion. 9 years have passed since this so-called revolution of digital assets should have started as a lot of guys including Armstrong cheered alongside Gavin and they aren't making a dent in the real economy, it has been restricted to a parallel universe where people trade coins and lose money in shitty projects and nothing else, in short vaporware.

Considering the statements that the person in question made yesterday or today, it seems that his company could be looking for a new headquarters, and he is obviously targeting the UK or the EU in that case. But it seems to me that considering everything that is happening in this part of the world, that job would not be worth it, especially in the UK, which in many respects aligns itself with its "brothers" on the other side of the big pond.

Be that as it may, the worst scenario would really be that one CEX that provides services in the US and one of the most famous stops doing business on that market. Not that I care about CEX or its CEO, but the US has centralized Bitcoin too much in every sense, and anything bad that happens there will significantly affect the rest of the world.
2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you agree with ChatGPT on the club that might win the premier League? on: April 19, 2023, 10:16:04 AM
If I'm not mistaken, the AI is a bit stupid in this case and anything that has anything to do with anything after the end of 2021, because it has data that only goes back to that period. At the moment when the AI is "online" in the sense that it has all possible data, then it will probably be able to give much more accurate and precise answers.

This could be a problem for bookmakers, because players will have a very good tool for analyzing matches, and thus a greater chance of winning.
2248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs physical gold price potential on: April 19, 2023, 09:53:58 AM
I don't even know if it is safer to leave BTC on something like Binance or on a ledger, because both are attacked by hackers and by the government. That is hard to overcome.

Asking such a question shows that you lack elementary knowledge about what Bitcoin is and how to store it safely. It is pointless to compare any CEX with any non-custodial wallet, your private keys in your private possession only give you maximum security, of course if you know how to keep them properly.

I am currently checking out videos of ledger users and the amount of threats is ridiculous.
Thieves presenting themselves as Ledger staff. Address poisoning. Spam that results in a drained account if you click on it.
It never stops.

And if Ledger gets hacked again, everything is gone.

You are currently being brainwashed with cheap YT videos that obviously convinced you that someone hacked Ledger in the sense that they hacked Bitcoin, and it is actually about the database of those who bought that device. Stop talking nonsense and spreading panic, you'd better learn some basics before jumping to conclusions that have nothing to do with common sense.

You guys sound like Peter Schiff or Charlie Munger criticizing Bitcoin.

You did not refer to anyone in particular, but as I am one of those who expressed my opinion, I feel called out, so I will answer you. Personally, I consider it an insult that you put us in the same category by citing the example of those people who hate Bitcoin from the bottom of their souls because it does not fit into their business philosophies.

In general, a small percentage of people think that AI has a bad influence on the forum, and if someone wants to read AI generated posts and answers that will be given by the OP bot, I will certainly not interfere in that.

In fact, from today I will no longer clean any board (especially the Bitcoin discussion), so if AI will do it better than us humans, we will obviously have more time for some other activities.

You may think that Facebook is not a good place, but still the number of Facebook users is huge. So still a lot of awareness is needed to keep everyone safe from such traps.
~snip~

FB is not a bad platform in the full sense, but it has largely contributed to the fact that people spend more time online than they should spend in the real world, which has serious consequences for the psychological development of young people. They are actually easy targets for such ads because their lives are actually online, and they believe everything they see on their screen.

Such advertising should not be possible at all, but all large social networks and internet giants do not care too much about such things as long as they bring them huge profits, and at the same time they are protected by law from liability for displaying such ads. It seems perfect, doesn't it? Of course not for those who click on the ad and lose money, but they are just collateral victims of a system that exploits them because it can and because it is allowed to.

Imagine if somebody asks a question such as the following:

Quote
how to avoid telegram scams involving cryptocurrency?

Normally such questions are havens for signature spammers who otherwise do not have anything useful to contribute to the discussion. However, AI (with a few redactions or additions in the content where necessary) can make a much superior answer:

Because of such things, we have a "report to moderator" button, and then such topics will end up in the trash and will not become havens for signature spammers. However, I have nothing against you playing with AI in that way, because it seems that there is no area in which AI has not already intervened.

Hardly ten percent of people would have invested in btc and price increased more than gold. suppose that 80% people start investing in btc then what will be Bitcoin price at this stage. we cannot denied the value if Gold but if we talk about price potential then its obvious that Btc is more powerful.

We can't even talk about 5%, let alone 10% of people, which would be 800 000 million people at this moment. At best, only 2% of people are in some way involved in Bitcoin, and all those who think that some mass adaptation will happen obviously do not think that more than one third of people do not have access to the internet, one part has access that is occasional, and the largest percentage of people who have heard of Bitcoin have a negative attitude towards it, which stems from the attitudes of their governments.

Speaking of, I've never managed to get any info on how many BTC were there, all news all report lump the sum in one, I'm really curious about this, wonder if it's at least 20% BTC and less than 80% shitcoins.

It's obviously a secret and they keep it for a reason, but I have no doubt that you're probably right that the ratio is somewhere around 20 to 80 in favor of altoshitocoins. Realistically, that whole FTX was one big shitcoins factory that literally fell apart when the price of BTC went towards $20k, and the token around which everything revolved became almost worthless.

When you have a CEO like Bankman on top of all that, there is only one possible outcome, and that's exactly what happened. Now we watch the classic Saving Private Ryan.
2254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs physical gold price potential on: April 18, 2023, 10:39:28 AM
There is an estimated 208 000 tonnes (208 000 000 kgs) of gold available on planet earth. This has been mined throughout history and we can assume that this is not lost. But let's estimate it at 210 000 tonnes to make it easy.

I believe that there is much more gold than those predictions, but even if the data you present are correct, what about the gold that has been talked about in recent years and is located outside the planet Earth? Of course, that gold is not available today, but the predictions are that in a maximum of 50 years it will be commercially available in quantities that will far exceed the reserves on our planet.

The amount of bitcoin that will ever be available, is capped at 21 million coins. So for each coin that is available, there is 10 kgs of gold available (210 million divided by 21 million = 10)

At the moment, no one is seriously talking about increasing the max supply, but it is still something that should not be completely rejected, because who is to say that some new "visionaries" will not decide in 20 or 30 years to change the code a little and add a few million new Bitcoins. People are prone to stupid things, and I wouldn't be surprised if they add another one to their list of stupid things.

- Sales of gold are already subjected to taxation in nearly every country. I don't know if the government will succeed in taxing BTC. I guess only if BTC needs to get converted to currency, because then the banks and the IRS get involved. But if we can avoid that conversion for payment (directly in BTC), the IRS and the government are bypassed.

I don't need to pay any tax when I buy or sell investment gold, and I think this is a law that applies throughout the EU, although there are probably exceptions from country to country. And regarding the payment of capital gains tax when it comes to Bitcoin, in most regulated countries there are laws that clearly regulate this and the procedure is not significantly different from the payment of capital gains tax from other investments.

In addition, even the EU has several countries where capital gains tax is not paid if you sell Bitcoin 1 or 2 years after purchase.

Are you sure you linked the right article, that one says 5 bill
Quote
FTX Has Recovered 'Over $5B' in Assets, Bankruptcy Attorney Says

Total claims might be at around 10 billion by estimation, if people don't make the claims through the court then there are no assets lost in the books, but still recovered sum grew.

Actually, I meant the total amount that was talked about, and it was specifically mentioned by the OP in this thread, where the link actually comes from. Generally speaking, at the beginning of the year there was talk of about $10 billion, now it is a little more than $7 billion, and I honestly doubt that this is the last amount that will be talked about.

Even if they recover 75% of their coins that's more than their initial value and let's be honest, the ones that had coins there only cared about their value in $ otherwise they would have held them in their own wallet.

Maybe they would do it if they were able to take such a step, but most people who invest in Bitcoin for one reason or another do not understand it more than a number that shows the current value.
2257  Economy / Speculation / Re: FTX recovered $7.3B in Assets and is considering restarting! on: April 17, 2023, 10:53:15 AM

The only positive thing that may come out of this story is that their investors may at least recover a portion of their money, which was considered long gone.

That would really be a positive thing, although it seems to me that the big ones will get their money first, as is usually the case. If nothing else, those small investors got at least some hope that everything is not over, and that certainly has, if nothing else, a positive psychological effect on them.

~snip~

That would be logical, but I think that there are still a large number of those clients who would be ready to trust the same company again in the event that the management structure changes, and if in addition they would receive some extra compensation in the form of a new token. But whatever they plan, they have to do it as soon as possible in order to have any chance of regaining their position on the market. Currently, there is no new competition, and the old players are not doing very well.

For playing the WOF spins you get for holding FUN tokens (premium membership), you don't need to check your email at all.
You will see a message saying "You have X free WOF spins. Play them here." on the website

It is clear to me that I have to buy tokens for Premium membership, I was just wondering how I get WOF as a Premium user - thanks for the clarification.

If you are willing to become a premium user I suggest you to start with the 12,500 FUN package, because it's the most cost efficient one.

Yes, 12500 FUN tokens seems to be the sweet spot as you get a nice amount of WOF spins (I think it is 6 in the beginning) and you get a cashback when placing bets. The most interesting feature is probably the increased interest as that can really add up quickly.

I played a bit with the "Amount of FUN held" option and 12500 tokens doesn't seem like a bad option, although the starting number of WOF per day is 5 and not 6. Somewhere I saw a topic in which a member calculated how much he needed to return his investment (found it here), maybe even in Micro earnings, I have to search. What I am also interested in is what happens after 1 year of Premium membership, is it automatically extended without additional payment/purchase of extra tokens or? Also, can tokens be bought directly from the balance or only with a deposit?

~snip~
And when Bitcoin price goes up, WOF rewards goes down, as it's connected with BTC price. So, with collected WOF spins now you can win less BTC/RP/tickets than month ago.

It's gambling in a way, because even though it's true that with a change in the price of BTC, the rewards also decrease, there is still a chance that the price will drop again - and the golden ticket as well as the golden watch and similar rewards are always constant. Maybe some just want to try their luck over a long period of time, not all at once.

You can send me a private message in that case, but don't send me the license that way.

Traditional finance is a much larger casino than the cryptospace so uncle Warren does not have the right to criticize us.

He or anyone else has the right to criticize anything and anyone if we live in a democratic society where every individual has the right to express his opinion. What's wrong is that after 10 years of his criticism of Bitcoin, you or anyone else still finds such news worthy of attention.
