2281  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto Currency Youtubers on: November 18, 2017, 05:33:55 PM
Are there any "influencers" youtubers who work with crypto currency?

What do you mean by this?

People with enough subscribers who influence other people's opinion

I dont want to advertise other channels on my thread, but yeah there are many other youtube channels that are designed around crypto currency

Very interested in this as well! Need some new channels.

Same deal as above, I am not going to advertise other channels here. Just search them on youtube and you will find a few.
2282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Where to buy a ethereum miner? on: November 17, 2017, 09:56:54 PM
I would like to make an investment in a miner, however I am not really sure what to buy. Are there trusted sites that will create the computer for you with your budget?

I am looking to invest $500-1k. And hopefully be able to make a profit within 100-120 days.

Is this possible?

I have been using this calculator https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/eth?HashingPower=31&HashingUnit=MH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=0&CostPerkWh=0.13 and have been looking at computers on ebay, however they are extremely over priced.

Ther SEC is cracking down on some of these social media celebrities that are promoting ICO's. https://www.sec.gov/news/public-statement/statement-potentially-unlawful-promotion-icos

Are you following these guidlines when you are promoting via social media? Enclosing that it is a promotion etc?

If you have any questions, make sure to let me know. Enjoy
2286  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crypto currency Book | Register to get the book , FREE on: November 16, 2017, 05:48:28 PM
I already registered. thank you for what you will do. I hope your book will contain much information needed to earn bitcoin

It wont make you "earn" bitcoin, but it will give you a better understanding of the market and it will have personal insights. This isn't a book that will make you money, you have to act on your personal desires if you want to make money. This book could act as the "gas" to get you going, but in the end this book wont do anything but give you insights.
2287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Book on: November 16, 2017, 05:40:45 PM
thank you, this really helped me in adding knowledge about bitcoin. Because I have not long joined in bitcoin, so my knowledge of bitcoin is still minimal.

No problem I hope you enjoy it Smiley Make sure to sign up if you havent already

The book is a storehouse of knowledge, the window of the world and reading the key.

I hope you will get knowledge and some personal enjoyment from reading personal experiences Smiley

Bitcoin books are obviously very helpful as I am a beginner, many things I should read about bitcoin.

This book will be helpful regardless of skill level, but especially beginners Smiley Make sure to sign up if you havent already, the link is in the OP
2288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: November 16, 2017, 05:10:29 PM
Even if the community donated to fund this, I still think there would be a lot of problems. Most people dont have the experience or resources to make intelligent investment decisions, and so we would have the market even more flooded with people who are trying to make a quick buck. The SEC is already on our tail, we dont need them to speed up the process even faster.
2289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Book on: November 16, 2017, 05:05:38 PM
Thanks for the amazing support, I am always surprised with how supportive the BitcoinTalk community is. I will update the OP with the registration information. Thanks once again, I appreciate all of the support.

BIO: My name is Timothy, and I have been studying and researching crypto currency since late 2010. However I have not made any notable investments until 2012ish and today I live purely on crypto currency. Back in 2010 there were not any exchanges that I knew of ( correct me if I am wrong but the first exchange was around 2011) and so I was skeptical about taking a payment from a online sale in bitcoin which would be worth a pretty coin today. I have always been interested in business and have started many businesses over the years with a real passion for finance and investing. To bring you up to speed, today I business consult for a variety of different companies and projects in different industries. ( Both online and physical ) Over the last few years I have been really interested in bitcoin but have been shying away from it and focusing on the industry as a whole and blockchain technology. My favorite coin right now is Ethereum and I have been following the project very closely. I almost feel "apart" of the project without doing any development work considering my closeness to the project. Aside from my business world, I like to spend my time creating content whether that is making youtube videos around crypto currency or today announcing my crypto currency book. Over the next few weeks I will be writing a crypto currency book talking about my personal experiences and thoughts on the crypto currency market, and best of all it will be FREE. I am a huge believer and supporter in free content and learning tools for the next generation. On this thread you will find the google form link to register for a free copy when it is released, and you will find a sample list of topics I will cover in the book above.

2291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Book on: November 16, 2017, 03:26:20 AM
Some very interesting ideas out there, thanks guys! It looks like this will likely be a go, and tomorrow morning I will make the official thread
2292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Book on: November 16, 2017, 01:08:58 AM
I would be interested to buy one. it will give me knowledge too. and hopefully will read a lot especially the history of money makers, what is bitcoin concept and how it will change the global issue

Thanks for the support, it will be free so no need to buy it. Once I get 25 people, I will then make a official thread for people to "get in line" and get a free copy.
2293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Book on: November 16, 2017, 12:58:34 AM
Thanks for the support guys, once 25 people say they would be interested I will actually work on it. Also, the fact that there are already alternatives available doesnt really effect me. I am offering this book free, so financially I wont be benefiting and therefore dont have to worry about "competitors". I would also like to think that these books you guys are talking about cost money? Which would make my book competitive although you could argue their point of view might be better etc.

I plan on making the first part of the book about me and my experiences for pure enjoyment. Then the next sections will include tips, and strategies that are personal to me. ( So this makes the book really helpful for anyone in crypto regardless of your "experience" level. )

Next, I will certainly promote this book outside of bitcointalk to a degree, because this can be a good read for people who are interested in crypto but havent made a effort to join a forum.

2294  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Building A Team For A New Token on: November 15, 2017, 11:54:36 PM
It would be helpful to explain what sort of existing business you have, that way people can get more information if they are interested in that industry. It would also be helpful if you posted your budget, how people will be compensated etc
2295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5000 USD on: November 15, 2017, 08:36:04 PM
10-15% in btc 10% in dsh and then the rest in ethereum
2296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Book on: November 15, 2017, 07:13:08 PM

I would like very much, I am interested in this reading, good initiative

Thanks for the comment, if I get 25 people to say they would be interested in reading, I will open up a official thread for it.
2297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Book on: November 15, 2017, 05:26:09 PM
Feel free to check out the official thread, and register to get the book for free. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2414182.new#new

Would you guys be interested in reading a book at is aimed around bitcoin and crypto currency in general? It would be a free book of likely 20pages +

It would talk about my personal experience with crypto currency, and it would talk about the evolution of crypto currency and some helpful tips and strategies.

Edit:

100% free
No advertisements in the book or any crap like that

I know there are other books, however I am not competing for business considering I am giving it away free.

2298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOcritic.org looking for ICO reviewers on: November 15, 2017, 05:19:48 PM
In reality ICO's should be pooling money together in the beginning so that they can actually pay people in BTC or ETH. The chance of you getting a good review for your token/coin is very low. Just my opinion, when I see a company do something like this I automatically wont invest. If your project is not good enough to spend your own money on it, then others wont want to spend their money buying the token. You need to get some skin in the game. This just sounds like another project that is just trying to take advantage of a token or coin offering.

mistake / spam?

I dont see how my message could have been mistaken as spam if that is what you are saying.

Edit: My fault, I was confused when I read the OP and thought you were talking about ICO reviewers for your ICO. However my message still applys to your site, you should pay people instead of give them revenue shares or a affiliation program. If you get some skin in the game and build a budget to pay out good reviewers, you will receive a better result.

Nobody looking for any kind of investment here. We are looking for team members who will work together on this project.

I am saying, you should create a budget for this project yourself. Keep 100% of the revenue the site makes, and pay people to post there reviews on your site. Instead of offering a "Revenue share with reviewers. " which doesnt seem logical. Your project is your baby, you shouldnt want to give away a percentage of it until you are nearing the scaling phase.

2300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you like to enroll Crypto Currency Course? on: November 15, 2017, 04:56:03 PM
I have been learning on my own, so I wouldnt personally join a course unless it was free and was recommended. However, I think these educational sites will flourish as more and more people enter the space
