1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sleeper Coin on: May 01, 2018, 12:59:59 AM
Do you have a favorite sleeper coin?  How do you evaluate?

Would you consider:
- non-mineable coin over a mineable one
- decentralized over a centralized
- low fees/ fast fees
-  ??

I made a medium thread about evaluating coins: https://medium.com/@therealtimforrest/the-right-way-to-evaluate-a-cryptocurrency-781476d263b3

It really depends on the coin tbh. I would rather have a minable coin, decentralized always, and fast.

"easy 10X" hey hey hey
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Bet against my portfolio on: April 30, 2018, 11:41:54 PM

Top 100 would do or much better even going for top 10 is good yet we are just talking percentage here depending on the growth. The winner would always be on the nearest percentage on due time.
This would be good but its much better if funds are held even though its small but you can assure that other person would pay you up.  Cheesy

I am good for the $100 bet lol

But yeah, I think this is a cool idea and hopefully, people become interested in it. Its obviously a gamble but more fun imo than slots or sports. The terms are fair and I think it could be a fun game. I am hoping to find someone soon.
1307  Economy / Services / Re: Paid Content Writer Needed: Let People Know Why Your Country Is Also Important on: April 30, 2018, 11:35:49 PM
I am from the US, but can offer editing to anyone who posts content. So you could send me all of the articles and I could edit them. Feel free to PM me if you are interested in that.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Bet against my portfolio on: April 30, 2018, 10:04:21 PM
Someone has to want to bet me.

Depends.

What coin are you choosing, and what should the minimum volume of said coin be?

I can easily choose a coin that has like 30$ volume and 10k marketcap, then pump it 5000%, and win. Seems pretty unfair to me.

(And i also think this is your strategy, since you seem overly confident that you're going to win.(?))

I stated that it has to be in the top 100. We could make it top 50 if you want. We can do a $1m minimal market cap as well. Its $100... I am not betting my life on it lol
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tron a top 10 crypto again! Will it stay that way? Rise more? on: April 30, 2018, 08:20:53 PM
I can't wait for this coin to run out of gas, and then I can say "I told you so'.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: #stopshere on: April 30, 2018, 08:19:59 PM
It sound so easy to say. How can you determine if an ICO is going to be a scam or not. If we all can see an obvious ICO, then I don't think any one will ever loose money in an ICO. Everything is depended on insight, and knowledge about the would be project otherwise it will be difficult to stop them. I have witness and invested in ICO that has all criteria of a good project, team members profile on linkedin seems so powerful. Yet after they took my hardearned ether , no communication, no development and no exchange listing.

You can lose your money in non scam ICO's or obvious shit projects. An example of a bad project but might not necessarily be a scam is the project in your signature right now.

Also, think about coins that seem like securities. Most of these tokens do, and most don't have direct world use cases so they are bad to even promote on this forum.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got $25.000 to invest, low KYC needed on: April 30, 2018, 05:36:49 PM
I'm looking for a few ICOs to invest in, anyone got any good ideas?

Why not try investing in https://yumerium.com because the project has the potential of performing greatly in the crypto market. This is one the best ICOs in the crypto world of business.

scam project, I would stay away from every single ICO, nothing but scams now.

Haven't had the chance to look through their linkedins yet, are there any obvious red flags?

I would just invest in a "blue chip" like bitcoin or ethereum. Many ICO's are just going to turn out to be scams and until we can pass some of this legislation its going to be like throwing darts in the dark.
I doubt bitcoin or Ethereum will show the same exponential growth that it did a few months ago. They've had their run. A new fresh ICO that is legit is in my mind the best bet for a god return of investment, before the market is regulated to death. The regulations are what makes me look for low KYC in the first place. The SEC rulings dealt immense damage to the ICO investment opportunities for us in the US.

Well if you are in the US trying to dodge it, especially with $25k you might run into troubles. If you're looking to 10x it, then be ready to lose the $25k as it is going to be tough.

Hi, do you take only fiat?

I only take cryptocurrency. No fiat.
1314  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring writer to write / re-write "into to bitcoin" articles on: April 30, 2018, 04:04:04 PM
I charge $25 per 500 words so 1500-2000 would be $75-100. PM me if you are interested and I can get this done ASAP.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Bet against my portfolio on: April 30, 2018, 02:21:24 AM
Please read everything carefully so that we don't have any confusion.

I want to bet $100 in ETH that my coin will do better in 7-30 days than yours.

So if you are interested I would like 1 other person to bet against me.

The betting will go at a $1k valuation.

Ex: Player 1 picks X coin and in 7 days it goes 10%

Player 2 picks XX coin and in 7 days it goes 8%.

The difference between the 2 is 2% which at a $1k valuation is $20.

There is a cap of $100 on the bet, and $20 is less so it doesn't get filled completely.

Player 1 gets $20 from player 2 in ETH.

Or
Ex: Player 1 picks X coin and in 7 days it goes -8%
Player 2 picks XX coin and in 7 days it goes -10%

The difference between the 2 is 2% which at a $1k valuation is $20.

There is a cap of $100 on the bet, and $20 is less so it doesnt get filled completely.

Player 2 pays player 1 $20.

Basically, all of the coins will be locked in at the price of Coinmarketcap unless our coins are on the same exchange then we can work it out from there. The coin picked must be on the top 100 of coinmarketcap.

This is how it will go down:

We will lock in a bet of $100 in terms of ETH. Then from that we can see the USD value.

Example: 1 ETH = $100. If player 1 owes player 2 $20 then regardless of the price of ETH, player 1 will give .2 ETH.

We will be using EST time zones and will do 7 days exactly from the time.

So now you verge investors can put your money where your mouth is Wink

Let me know if there is any problems with this.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum a threat to bitcoin on: April 30, 2018, 01:49:14 AM
They are both attacking different parts of the market. So I would disagree.
1317  Economy / Service Discussion / Is there a portfolio betting service like this? on: April 30, 2018, 01:45:56 AM
Is there a service where two people can bet say $100 BTC that their coin will make more in x days.

So they bet on a $1000 leverage and pay out the differences.

So player 1's coin had a +23% in 1 week and Player 2 had a +7% in 1 week. So player 2 has to pay out 17% at 1k which would be $170, but they had a $100 cap so he would pay $100?

I am confused as to what you are actually looking for...?
1319  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling USA-based company/website - earned $14,400 in 2017 on: April 29, 2018, 10:15:24 PM
If you truly made $14.4k then this should go for $43.2k ish ( depending on the stats etc )

If you dont want to write anymore, pay someone to and keep earning.

I write a lot of good content, and if you sent me more information on the analytics I would be interested in partnering with you on the site. I would supply the writing and get equity. PM me if you are interested.

Best,

Tim
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which ICOs do you plan to join in MAY on: April 29, 2018, 09:40:48 PM
I haven't seen any projects that are releasing in may. I am thinking about just investing in blockchain startups over actual ico/coins.
