Newcastle are really inconsistent these days. It started to reflect on their Champions League games as well recently. Because they lost to Dortmund two times in a row which pushed them down to the fourth position. But I still want to believe that they will recover from this situation as well. Newcastle were pretty impressive last season you know.
This carried them even to the Champions League despite challenging hard against the other top teams in the Premier League. Actually they weren't doing bad until a point this season too. But hopefully they will get better. They have got some bad news additionally like Tonali's suspension but I will expect them to get better in time.
The first game lost to Borrussia Dortmund wasn't expected, they was at home and gave out three points, they be making claims of injuries but they didn't talk about it when they won against Arsenal ( With a goal that wasn't worth it ) The second game they was shit, Borrussia Dortmund bossed them down in midfied, they tried to go through the wings and was outplayed. Injuries might be part of the issues though, a lot of pressure comes with the Champions League and European Competitions. Last season, they was the best defending club in the Premier League. They'll be hosting the blues who had a disastrous season which affected every single players mentality in that club. Chelsea have found themselves to an extent under Pochetino, even if we do feel like, he's not the right man for the job. The blues have done quite well against Clubs we felt they shouldn't have. Good game for them there. This is another game I see the blues winning. Newcastle has always be toxic at home when facing Chelsea, but I'm tryna be positive over a win here for the blues. Seeing news of Luke Shaw returning to training and Lisandro Martinez got me hard ASF! These are the defenders alongside Rapheal Varane that brought a huge boost to Manchester United defense. That's very sad for Xavi and Barcelona to see Gavi getting injured like this. I think these FIFA days we recently saw made many players injured and now Gavi is injured while he is a key player in Barcelona. In the game between Spain and Georgia, Gavi couldn't continue the game after 24 minutes and he left the field while crying. It seems he is injured hard and he is going to be out for a long time.  It was a terrible day for Spain and Barca. I'll be honest and say that Georgia is not a team where Spain needs to play with superstars to win. We only have one superstar player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the rest of them perform very badly, you can see that Georgia isn't able to win against faroe island and similar teams. Khvicha is the only newly born superstar but he is not capable to beat Spain alone. Today, FC Barca management is very angry on spain because Gavi won't be able to play during the season, he will have to take a 7-8 months break. He is really a big loss for Barcelona and for Spain. Shit hurts big balls if you ask me, he'll be out for the next seven to eight months which means out of the season and if returned early enough won't be part or won't be rushed to be part of the squad marching into the Euro's approaching next year. The pain will be felt by Barcelona management and Spanish National Team, they're both related to the player both for a long time, they'll be without their finest midfielder's. Amongst goalscorers in the game are Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal, who are both players for Barcelona. They have Nicholas Jackson, but I'll say he should be given enough time to blend in well. Chelsea needs Victor Oshime, anyone other than Victor Oshime for Chelsea is a perfect rumour. Griezmann could have been making history by now if he didn't leave Atletico Madrid for Barcelona in 2019 for two years. He had great statistics when he played for Atletico for the first five years. But sometimes it is easy to say he shouldn't have left because we would have probably done the same when Barcelona is asking. But in retrospect I think it wasn't a smart move. I liked how brutal he was when he was 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper. It was a goal 99% of the time and he hardly missed big chances.
He did very well, was amongst the first five players the year Atletico Madrid won the Europa League Competition and France won the world Cup yet, he was nowhere near close to those that would be winners of the Ballon d'or award. He moves to Barcelona and didn't play shit for Barcelona not even Coutinho.. Even Jose Mourinho wanted him at Manchester United but the club didn't put enough effort and pressure together towards sign-in most of the players Jose Mourinho. Bayern will definitely destroy Koln, they are not even on the same level, it's like just Bundesliga has teams and Bayern has to play with some of them every season, but they should not even be on the same league, Bayern is just galaxies better than Koln normally.
I understand that some people are expecting some unexpected upset over Bayern and that they could make some money from it and Koln had a few good games or something like that, but life is not like that, Bayern will just dominate the whole game and destroy them all together. I believe that we are going to end up being a little troubled and should not be all that increasingly insane. We could see the situation a little bit like it is not all that easy, and could be a bit weird on the long run.
So far i haven't read or seen anything related to any of them players out for the International break back with injury, with that they'll still be composed and have the same understanding used during the last game. Koln can also be a team with mad players, whenever you expect them to underperforms they over do, I don't want tonsee them beating Bayern Munich not sure Munich would want to see that happening. Personally, I don't want to see them for they've merited it all the way, they earned it, they didn't cut through the corners to makes sure that, they win every season. The French players who are playing for French teams and was a part of France squad against Gibraltar too must be really fired up after returning from national duty.  Mbappe is one of them for sure as he performed really great in this game which ended by a very interesting score like 14-0. Mbappe is nearly always above expectations in performance though so there is no need to talk in detail about him. PSG are lucky to have him for now however the team effort isn't impressive most of the time. This is the point which Luis Enrique needs to concern himself with. Yeah, Kylian Mbappe, Oliver Giroud for Ac Milan, Ousman Dembele and lastly, Antonio Griezmann they should all score for their various clubs. Oliver Giroud at most, his second goal was damn wonderful, how did he even do that in the first place? A back flip in that tight corner? The last time I saw a similar chip was from Adams of Stoke City against Peter Cech of Chelsea. That goal should be given the Puskas award already. He's already had thirteen league goals for PSG already, more will be attended on Friday and Champions League night against Newcastle. Liverpool is one of the big teams we have in the Premier league and not participating in the Champions League this season is not a good one for them because the Champions league is a game Liverpool fancy so much. Liverpool have no choice than to work well in their performance to get qualify for champions through Premier league or Europa league. Not participating in the Champions League was their fault, they flopped last season and everybody knew that. Jurgen Klopp has brought in players to fill the areas they lacked last season and they're progressing very well as it stands both in the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League Competition. Even if they're currently absent in the Champions League, they remain the finest Premier League club in the major European Competitions. They're no favorites for that Competition fully, they'll still face more challenging test and clubs who will definitely drop down from the Champions League group stages. Allegri deserves praise for his performance in always being able to overcome problems within the Juventus squad itself. Last season Juventus also had many problems. But Allegri can still keep the players highly motivated and not give up on last season's matches. So last season Juventus almost finished in 2nd place. Unfortunately they had to accept a 10 point deduction which knocked them out of the top 4. Allegri is a coach who has been a coach at Juventus for a very long time. So he really understands what to do when the club is in trouble.
The match against Inter Milan might be a difficult match. But Juventus will compete in front of its own fans. So Juventus will definitely be more enthusiastic about winning the match.
I like him a lot because he doesn't complain and works with what he has. Obviously he requires players, but he doesn't start crying like Antonio Conte does for example or Jose Mourinho. These are the professionals I admire, they work and toil and make things work. There should be no room for comparisons amongst these top coach, for they've all dominated the Italian Seria A in their various tenures. Chelsea have such a challenging fixture these days. They are going to play away against Newcastle next time after leaving other big games behind consecutively. However Chelsea seemed really promising in those games. I'm not sure about whether they would have beaten Tottenham anyway if Tottenham didn't get any red card though. But especially that effort against Manchester City under bad weather conditions was marvelous!
Can they maintain this effort against Newcastle as well? I say why not. Because Newcastle are quite unbalanced recently. They are still one of the best home teams in the league though but it is the same for Chelsea in away games too. I think Chelsea will leave by at least one point here.
Newcastle have faced too many Injury crises lately and they stand no chance of getting three points against Chelsea. They may likely see a draw if they fight hard but not so sure for the win. Newcastle may go ahead to still lose the next match they'll be playing against League One Giants PSG too when they face them in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Chelsea will continue improving, they may not get to win all of the games but I'm sure they'll go higher henceforth. Manchester United are said to have plans to sign Antoine Griezmann in January by offering a really profitable deal for him. They are said to be planning to offer 435k euros per week which would be nearly double his weekly salary now. Marca says like it is triple the amount he earns now but as far as I can see he earns 240k euros per week.
Anyway even if this attracts Griezmann's attention I don't feel like Atletico Madrid would let him go in the first place. Because he is at home now and showing a really valuable performance to the team. I don't even expect Griezmann to leave in January while Atletico Madrid are in a much better condition than the Red Devils.
Antonio Griezmann has been Atletico Madrid best player this season amongst Alvaro Morata who have both seen themselves scoring a joint Fifteen good goals in the Spanish League. Diego Simeone already expressed how much of a core player he has been to the club this season nad how he was meant to play for Atletico Madrid. He should have their DNA intact! Why not offer same contract to a much younger, talented and skillful Kylian Mbappe? Vinicius Jr injury problem is a serious issue to real madrid because Vinicius is a key player in Real Madrid and it can affect the team of achieving. My fear for Real Madrid is that bellingham which everyone is looking up to nothing happens to him, because if anything happens to him I don't think Real Madrid will be able to get the title this season.
If Real Madrid would have been able to get the perfect replacement for Benzema it would have really be a help to the team, and Vinicius Jr this season have not really been stable this season due to injuries, I think this season can end up to be a difficult season for Real Madrid. The current Arsenal squad is still playing well without Thomas Partey and therefore Arsenal no longer need his services despite his good performance last season. They haven't found enough balance in the team, they haven't linked well with the midfielder's and attackers, Frankie De Jong absence have affected them alot, he's been the perfect man for the defensive midfielder role even if he's not more of the aggressive player. He brings balance and that quality improves the game of Gavi and IIkay Gundogan in midfied ahead of him.

I also think this is the right time to sack Ten Hag. Because it is already understood that Ten Hag failed with Manchester United. Cristian Romero has been a blast for Tottenham Hotspur, he has contributed to their good form and confidence from the back line. Romero sent off during the game against Chelsea caused all the drama else they shouldn't have won. After a successful World Cup, I said it in my heart that he deserves a bigger club than Tottenham Hotspur. With Tottenham linked with selling Eric Dier and Romero who should really leave because they can't lose both players to Bayern Munich and Barcelona at the same time. |
