Ten Hag deserves more time at Manchester United to prove himself. He came in last season and finished in the top 4. He won silverware for the club. Yes he bought players he thought was good but it didn't turn out the way he expected, not all market turn out well. He should be given more time to show his working.
I don’t know how much time Ten Hag would seemingly deserve to prove himself at the club. He wasn’t picked as the coach yesterday and he has had in my opinion, enough time to study and understand the capabilities of all his players on the team. Apparently enough time to know and go after players he thought was best to achieve his goals as a manager for the club. I’m not rooting for his removal as the coach, but I think he has had enough time on the job for his plans to start to show some general improvement in the team. Rooting for his removal has got to be another wrong move from Manchester United fans. I believe they be wanting quick results which they don't have. That said, Erik Ten Hag has spent a good sum already but the club management have got to do more than that. Rebuilding takes time and resources. I believe the incompetent players within the club are not food enough for the growth of the club, we've got to see too many players leaving so another set of players who have the capacity of playing for the club can come in. Louis Van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunner Solskjaer and David Moyes all got sacked by Manchester United. I think it's time they go with a new approach, chase some of these players away and check if you won't see changes and upgrades. They are playing well in both home and away matches. They won the away match against Barcelona 4-2. It was Girona's best result of the season. With Girona progressing, it will be very difficult for Real Madrid to hold onto the top spot in the points table. Girona team is still 2 points ahead of Real Madrid. Girona have turned into the most ambitious team this season, they immediately rose after learning valuable lessons from Real Madrid. Girona increasing performance has reminded football fans of Leicester City when they won the EPL title. They have a standard squad without the most prominent star players in their team, but are able to maintain consistent performance in every match. Girona was so strong at Camp Nou, they managed to break into Barcelona goal four times, this victory was a good record for Girona and also taught Barcelona how to take advantage of opportunities in front of the opponent's goal. Girona continues to overshadow Real Madrid in second place, Girona presence, which always displays consistent play, makes Real Madrid increasingly uneasy at the top of the standings. They should not be too happy and comfortable, the great journey has just begun. They've been consistent and the loss to Real Madrid dis not stop them from going hard on other clubs and fixtures in the Premier League. PSG still have chances of winning the Ligue one this season, they are four points ahead of Nice on the table and that will means Nice will have to win to matches alongside PSG loosing two matches for them to be ahead of PSG which is something I don't think PSG will allow to happen, because they have the goal of winning the trophy again this season.

Unfortunately Xabi Alonso team did not profit much from Bayern Munich humiliating defeat and got only one point from their game against Stuttgart. Bayer Leverkusen were playing away vs a team that is doing pretty good this season in Bundesliga. They were pushing and trying to score and Leverkusen tried too but their opponent were concentrated to not lose home. This round in Bundesliga is crazy with a lot of unexpected results. Even Dortmund lost home vs Leipzig which increased the gap to 4 points. Dortmund is the roller coaster team of the Bundesliga. I still struggle to understand how they were able to pass the Champions League group and get into the next round early. But I highly doubt that they will be able to pass two more rounds in the Champions Leagues they are just too weak and unstable. I am sure they will soon be punished for that. 11 points behind Leverkusen, only 1 win in the last 5 games... Is Terzic going to be sacked soon? Dortmund erratic nature is unquestionable because thats how they started out. Its just that their performance is actually still very good in my opinion. Their situation with this tight schedule is complicated. They previously lost to Leipzig also because they lost a player due to a red card but were able to hold back and even continue to reduce the gap but on the other hand they still have a number of things that need to be improved so that their very good performance is covered with inconsistencies in defense which sometimes it is detrimental to Dortmund itself. Girona surprised me, I expected the game to be difficult because Barcelona have a very good defense, but the fact that Girona was able to score 4 goals against them is impressive. I didn’t think that after the away match with Barcelona, Girona would have a chance to top the table, this victory shows that Girona can resist the leaders and defeat them. Barcelona is really want to score a goal, so they're playing with under pressure. Barcelona only care with their attack since they've made 31 shots, but don't really care with their defend. The defenders flopped, both Kounde and Cancelo, I saw that they was involved with two goals scored against them in that game. De Gea is a better alternative for Newcastle United. He is younger than Hugo Lloris and I think he is a better goalkeeper. But today Newcastle United urgently need a goalkeeper. Just a couple of seasons ago, Aston Villa fans would be happy if their club finished 10th position. 16 matches into the season, who would have thought that Aston Villa would be considered title contenders. For the Arsenal vs Aston Villa match, I could see it was already over when Aston Villa scored a goal. I noticed Aston Villa have never lost any game from a winning position, if they are a goal up they will defend with everything they have got.

Arsenal had a disappointing game yesterday. I think they were just unlucky, VAR was not in their favour and they didn’t have their manager on the pitch. Remember Arteta was given a third yellow card in their last game. Maybe not having Mikel Arteta on the sidelines also contributed to the result. His presence would have been motivation for the players.
It’s surprising how much Aston Villa have grown from battling relegation last season to beating one of the top teams in the league. At this rate, Aston Villa can even be called title contenders this season.
I can't say if Arteta absent was the reason why arsenal lose the match but checking at the performance of Aston Villa they did well for the week in premier league game , Aston Villa was able to defeat Manchester City with one gaol and when they met arsenal too during the weekend they defeated arsenal. I think Aston Villa is doing well for able to defeat these two syrong teams in premier league. I won't say Aston Villa were lucky to win the game, they actually played very well. Aston Villa have really done well in their performance this season to gather much points to be among the top teams in the standings, but I was expecting arsenal to win the match because I feel they have good player's that are supposed to defeat Aston Villa Even with his presence again with the lads when they faced Luton Town, what happened? Even if he was around he wouldn't have done much. Aston Villa played a better game than Aston especially with dragging them out from them position and beating them with short range of passes in midfied. They have done well with the build up too, the rest I can't saye Who else was a bit worried about Manchester City, I hope they do better. This form cannot see Pep Guardiola winning the tittle this season if he doesn't fix things up together for him. |

Napoli should qualify if they get things back together, they would not if the new coach displays same attributes as that of Rudi Garcia. They did sack Rudi Garcia at the right time though. He came in and dropped down the full mentality of the players. The former coach indeed was a very good one who knows how to manage his dressing room. Roma did snooze after all. They went on to share points with Florentina who as well drew them last game. Funny how nobody has actually noticed former Psg midfielder Thiago Motta who have been brilliant and kicking hard with Bologna who are also close to the top four or five clubs in all of Seria A. He should be take good note off. |

Barca is in big trouble. Who would've thought Girona lead the league dominantly for 16 weeks. Girona is now one of the two biggest contenders for the title. This is more than a fairytale. They're not just a custodian at the top, they want it and they deserve it. I really wonder if there will be a Leicester City story here. Personally I'd love to see them winning the trophy instead of Real Madrid. I like these kind of stories in football.
I didn't expect the lose, though I know Girona has always been a threat. For them to successfully defeat them fellow underdog's , they could also do same with the big boys in La Liga So far, they've just lost against Real Madrid who's the main opposition right now. Losing too much chance was Barcelona's issue tonight. You fail to take those chances and you'll lose. I've seen games like this a lot. Girona be giving me that Leicester City vibes. Two more games in the month of December and they'll be at the top of the table until the new year fixtures pops out. |
