No one thought before that Girona would be seen at the top of the La Liga standings and even now they are at the top of the standings, initially many people thought it was luck for Girona but gradually they proved that their position and what they achieved was not just because of luck. Man City's condition without Haaland and De Bruyne is quite worrying. Especially after Haaland was absent for several weeks after suffering a minor injury. Todd Boehly prolly doesn't understand these things, he basically thinks all he has to do is spend money and then Chelsea become automatically successful, the investments that the club has made in the last three transfer windows have been massive, but despite that Chelsea are still struggling so much and they are 10th position in the EPL table. I don't know if Pochettino can take Chelsea out of this situation, but the club can at least let him try. Pochettino needs to have a stronger influence in the dressing room, he also has to identify the players he needs if they are going to spend in January, when a manager selects a player he wants, it is because they see that the player can help his team play in the way he wants. Poch needs more freedom and Todd should give him space. Splashing cash without a good purpose and goal to achieve is such a stupid thing to see happening right now with Todd Boehly and Chelsea. He can't be doing all of these transfer alone. He should get a sporting directors and Co's that understands the job ( Europeans ) If he does that, then they can start accessing and bringing in players that will work in line with the plans of the club. I see Real Madrid a bit above Bayern Munich. Real Madrid has some room for improvement while they have a decent level all the time, whereas Bayern Munich has some total failures. If they have one of those in the Champions League, it would be game over for them.
Bayern Munich got Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur but they can not dominate Bundesliga like they usually do. They did not spend big transfer money to buy Kane only to win Bundesliga but fail to dominate their domestic league is one of signals that their quality has problems in this season and this can cost them in Champions League when knock out phase is already in. Real Madrid look to have a balanced squad between attacking and defense, old and young players but the recent serious injury of David Alaba is very unexpected and it might harm their strength in coming months. But Manchester City isn't as stable as well. They are way more vulnerable than they have been last season. This season they have played several games where they lost dominance during the game.
I still consider Manchester City as the best competitor in Champions League even they shown some issues in Premier League. They have a deepest squad that can be so helpful for them in a long season. I also know in history there is only one club that can defend their Champions League crown, Real Madrid and Manchester City will be a second club can achieve it if they succeed in this season. They still have the January Transfer Window to bring in players they feel like would work best for the plans of the club. They signed Harry Kane because they had that role vacant and it was the right call to make for both club and player. Good to see it got finalized. They'll dominate the Bundesliga when they finally decide to repair the midfied, they have done that with the defense but not with the midfielder's, they need to bring in players who are hungry for success. Real Madrid in between lacks a good natural goal scorer. In the Champions League they meed one to help them, Jude Bellingham can not do that all alone, I have this feeling they're not going emerge winners. They have survived with the players around, they should make a good decision with signing a backup during the transfer window. Chelsea finally made it to the semifinals after winning the match against Newcastle united. Playing at home was not an advantage for Chelsea because they conceded early to Wilson but Mudryk was able to revive Chelsea hopes after managing to equalize in the final minutes of the match. I think winning on penalties was lucky for them because playing in normal time they were able to put a lot of pressure on Newcastle united but couldn't score a goal to win in normal half time.
Both of Chelsea and Newcastle are lucky, Newcastle can score a goal because of Badiashile's mistake, while Chelsea can score a goal because of Trippier's mistake. But Chelsea is luckier than Newcastle, so they able to beat Newcastle. We will see Liverpool vs West Ham in the next match, this should be Liverpool's game. Assuming Liverpool will win, then the qualified teams are Middlesbrough, Fulham, Chelsea and Liverpool. My prediction, it's either Chelsea or Liverpool will get the trophy. Real Madrid's only problem since the start of the season is the fact that they failed to sign a recognized top striker last summer after their former captain Karim Benzema left the club but with the formation that's been adopted by the club manager Carlo Ancelotti, I'm very optimistic that the Spanish giants are gonna reclaim top spot before February that the UEFA Champions League competition will return. Jude Bellingham who has been the club's most important player since the start of the season isn't an injury prone player and doesn't look like who's going to suffer fatique anytime soon. By the time the UCL returns next year, the favourites to win the Spanish La Liga title might be narrowed down to two or at maximum three clubs and I'm very optimistic that Real Madrid will be one of them.
Yes, Real Madrid are one team that will be wanting to secure the league this season and yes, they are having a difficult time this season due to injuries but with the break from the UCL it’ll give them a good run for the league title and help them secure their spot well on top of the league, yes these Girona is one team trailing them but I think they won’t have the strength to match Real Madrid especially in terms of quality players and squad depth. The La Liga big boys didn’t get a striker during summer but they got Jude who has stood up as a striker and an attacking midfielder when called upon amd he’s being doing the job so well, With Real Madrid maintaining winning streaks I think they’ll be taking the league home and would have a huge success in the UCL when it resumes. This is not the first time they've had important players out Injured, but they still found ways to win games. Vinicius Junior, Camavinga and Tchouameni all was out Injured and Real Madrid survived without them. Indeed Carlo Ancellotti is a great coach, managing the players within that are present is something everyone can't do. I think what you mean here is Manchester City. In the last few matches City have not had Haaland and this has had a big influence on their goal conversion. This is very bad result for liverpool. I thought that liverpool would score like the last season but i was wrong. Liverpool was missing an opportunity to win against manchester united. Liverpool looked like a strong club but MU was using everything to defense from any attack by liverpool.
Liverpool totally dominated the match and they wasted so many opportunities to beat Manchester United. Klopp was right, as he said before the match, such big win like the past season, won't occur too often. He was right about that but this draw is certainly a disappointed result for him and Liverpool, they did wanted to win it to continue a title race. Manchester United were very luckily to get one point from Liverpool and their midfield and attacking systems look very useless in this match. No doubt Lazio is a strong team whenever they are playing at home and probably would want to engage Inter on a final draw if inter didn't persist in winning the match, But with the strength I have seen in the Inter Milan team lately, I doubt if Lazio would be able to denied them that 3 points which will help them stand some points clear ahead of their major league team contender Juventus whom they are currently gapping with just a point.

This also suggests that Lazio's defense struggles against the attacking prowess of Inter Milan. Simone Inzaghi really has built a a strong team that shows his great capability to manage a big team to compete at highest level. While Lazio may have a strong history and home performance, the argument suggests that Inter Milan's effectiveness in scoring goals, coupled with their tactical prowess from Inzaghi, gives them the upper hand in this game. This implies that Inter Milan is not only a worthy competitor but also has the potential to secure a win away from home. Inter Milan is really the most favorite team to win Scudetto this season. PSG's mentality in the Champions League always changes every season. This season PSG has good players with great talent, but their performances are still not very impressive. Of course it is still possible to hope that PSG can improve its performance this season with the depth of its squad, but in my opinion everything is very difficult.
So far I don't think PSG is one of the teams that can win the title in the near future, but that doesn't mean they can't achieve it. PSG still has to try hard and make good use of the market to bring in players who are truly quality and fit their needs, meaning not expensive players but whose game is just enough. They need an experienced squad, especially in central midfield and that must be prioritized.
They don't have players that are special players, it'll take some time and seasons before Luis Enrique can assemble that kind of a squad to compete for the Champions League. I do wish at times if he was the coach around when they had players like Lionel Messi, Neymar Junior and also Kylian Mbappe. I know what he would achieve with these lads. They can successfully win the League 1 Championship bit not the Champions League. They're not ready to win the Champions League, they don't look really good and ready. With Kylian Mbappe also willing to go at the end of the season, that's another weak link you feel? They'll be knocked out of the Champions League in the next round because they'll definitely meet a stronger side! |

It's Real Madrid 2:0 Villarreal at half-time. Guess who is in the score list yet again?  Until today, Villarreal were the only team to beat Real Madrid at the Bernabéu this year. I thought it was going to be a very hard match, but to me this looks done and dusted by half-time. However, Real Madrid's center back injury woes continue, with Alaba being the latest casualty. Real Madrid now has only two fit center backs (Rüdiger and Nacho) with all the other 4 being injured. I knew it was going to be a win for Real Madrid, Villarreal is not in shape enough to stop Madrid at the Bernabeu this season, but I didn't expect it to be so easy for Madrid. It's like Villarreal came just to lose. They're playing like they want to concede. They've been horrible. Although my bet is on Real Madrid, I expected to see more fights from Villarreal. They look lost already. Madrid has done well so far despite their injuries. Even without Vinicius they still managed to win. They try to not drop too many points and they've been doing well. Slowly they're putting more gap between them and Barcelona who look lost too so far this season. Funny ASF!! The could round the goals up to make it five tonight. I think it's time to substute Jude Bellingham, Carlo Ancellotti should do that because the lad be using his emotions to play. Not that he's playing poorly but just to protect him from getting Injured. All four goals tonight are beautiful goals. I love that one touch pass from Luka Modric to Jude Bellingham. I was thinking about the game between Manchester United vs Liverpool, I can't see anything exciting in that game and I was expecting a massive demolition on Man UTD but it was as if the Liverpool side wasn't up to the task to get the job done.
With the way Liverpool played today I don't see them as title contenders but a team that's just playing to make the top 4.
I would give a thumbs up to Manchester United because despite the injuries and shortage of players they still got a point in that fixture, and I just wish this would give them a morela booster to get all 3 point in their next game.
Virgil Van Dirk wouldn't have said crap if Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund converted the chances they had today. Yes Liverpool was better and you could see them intensity but Manchester United defense did a good job to hold them down. One thing I noticed was that the both wings didn't work like they normally do. It was only Mo Salah working hard to cut in ad make dangerous runs for Liverpool. The name Luiz Diaz was nowhere to be found in this game. The players played for the manager and for the club, I wasn't expecting nothing, Manchester losing wouldn't even move me. West Ham up next on Saturday, that should be tough since West Ham has also seen bsome recent development and improvements. Three goals won against Wolverampton today, Yes?! |

Currently bookies are showing Bayern Munich as a bigger favourite than Real Madrid for the Champions League title. However I'm thinking exactly the opposite here. It seems like they are missing an important point while determining the biggest favourites of the title. They are overlooking the fact that Real Madrid have won this title the most and by far compared to their latest competitor in this. In addition Real Madrid became champions here 5 times in the last 10 seasons. Isn't this record worth being shown as the second biggest favourite at least? I can understand them about making Manchester City the biggest favourite. It is obvious that they are the strongest team in the competition right now. Making Manchester City the favorites? Can they see how they've been playing so far this season? Manchester City has lost some quality players and failed to replace them very well. Having Pep Guardiola is already a plus for Manchester City you can't write them off. They don't have that moral they had last season. It's not about how far though, it's how well. Manchester City can do the impossible. Is it about winning 5 times? For me I'll agree because they don't have a proper number nine. Joselu is not the man to win them the Champions League. Jude Bellingham doing well as a false nine but how well will he be able to do that? The Central Forward position is something they need to consider. Bayern Munich I can agree easily, they have a good goal scoring player ( Harry Kane. ²⁰ League goals already for the club ). I expect them to make some solid additional players though whenever the transfer window begins in the next ¹⁴ Days. |

Leverkusen another important 3 points today and they will maintain the 1st position for another week even if Bayern is about to win as well but they way Leverkusen keeps playing is so superb to watch but also to place a bet on them to score at least 2 goals almost every game which is insane.
Next week Leverkusen will face Bochum and this looks like an easy victory for them. Meanwhile , Bayern will face Wolfsburg who is a team who rarely makes draw this season and that means they play for victory or defeat which might take Bayern by surprise a bit.
They should easily defeat Bochuk who are also strugglers in the Bundesliga League Competition. They make it look like it's one easy task to carry out. Like I've always said, after all these hardwork and winning rate and conversions. They really deserve to be leaders of the Bundesliga League Competition at the end of the season. Xabi Alonso also deserves it for his profile. Doing such a great job with a club who didn't spend too much during the transfer window. Harry Kane has just scored twenty league goals tonight. He be doing too much. One can say that he's the best buy across all European Competitions, Jude Bellingham be doing well also but Harry Kane, personally has done better. Two goals against Stuggart to help Bayern Munich win. They also be having a game to play. They win that one and will be right behind Bayern Leverkusen to leapfrog em for any drop in form. |
