Arsenal were a disaster again... I don't know what is happening to this team recently. First they got their first home loss against West Ham and this time there is a loss against Fulham. Every team can have bad time periods but they are a fighter for the league title at the same time. They don't have much luxury of losing points otherwise it would be punished.

I hope we don't see the same Arsenal from the previous season which start slowly dropping down from the league title competition. Arteta has built a quite young team maybe but they really have the capability to fight hard for the title until the end.

Its a shame and embarrassment to see how poorly they've performed this season against their own London rivals who they won back to back fixtures last season.
Mikel Arteta had also condemned the way they played, I think they need depth which they don't have. Most importantly a new striker since Gabriel Jesus, Nketiah and Kai Havertz who's supposed to be the false nine for them be underperforming. They're still potential winners of the Premier League Competition alongside Manchester City and Liverpool. They have tue capacity to do of they concentrate.

They flopped big time last season. If I'm correct, they dominated the league for ten months and failed to achieve something worthwhile. They shouldn't slack and make more significant signatures.

Arteta has been thinking the same about the transfer topic as well. He is planning to make transfers which are really needed for some specific areas. Who knows maybe we might see a new centre-forward to heat up the competition between the alternatives as well. I don't find Gabriel Jesus and Nketiah good enough for a title competition honestly.

Gabriel Jesus was much better in the past but that long-running injury affected his performance really negatively.  Sad  There are some names rumoured for the position but let's see. Arteta would know what he is doing for the betterment of the team.

A new defender? I'd rather see them invest that on a different position. Jurim Timber would be back soon this year and he should be brought back Into the squad. A player like Saliba has lost form and should be dropped for some games to regain himself.
A move for Ivan Toney will be better. Jesus and Nketiah haven't done so well for Arsenal in the past few games. It's shameful because it's a back to back lose for the gunners.

Ivan Toney for that role. Neto for that role with Saka and someone else productive for Gabriel Martinelli.
Most of these Arsenal players are exhausted and they shouldn't overstressed to avoid been Injured for a very long term.

Claudio Echeverri, who had a great performance with Argentina in the U17 World Cup, scored 5 goals in 7 matches and was chosen as the most valuable player of the tournament. Big clubs were competing with each other to get him. The winner of this race was Manchester City. City will pay 25 million Euro to River Plate for this transfer. Echeverri will spend another season on loan at River Plater and will join Manchester City next year. It was a very correct decision. The transfer fee also seems quite reasonable.

I'm happy to hear that Claudio Echeverri has chosen to play for Manchester City. Because as far as I know there were other Premier League teams like Chelsea also trying to sign him. If he joined Chelsea I think it would be a really bad incident for his career. You know how bad Chelsea are this season. They wouldn't be able to help Echeverri develop his skills much like that.

He is only 17 years old though but as far as I have heard Manchester City are planning to loan him back to River Plate right after completing the deal. It would be nice thinking honestly because he wouldn't have much chance in Manchester City lineup yet.

I don't even know this particular player and the role he plays. What does he bring to the table of Manchester City? Being linked with other clubs is nothing new you feel me? And there's nothing wrong with joining Chelsea, you could still join a side and not do well. Take a good look at Kalvin Philips who also didn't get a good chance to play for Manchester City.
Every young player would want to work with Pep Guardiola, I'm not boggled he choose Manchester City over another club.

Talks about Kylian Mbappe too much and boring right now. I'll just shut the Fvck up and watch the next club he ends up with. A move to Real Madrid though will he the best.
1403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 01, 2024, 09:56:00 AM
Bayern Munich is about to lose a player in this team. Joshua Kimmich is a player who is under contract with Bayern Munich but this player is linked to Barcelona to join this team in the next days.
On the other hand, Manchester United is seeking a midfielder and Manchester United can be another possible destination for this player.
It seems Bayer Munich should increase the offer to keep Joshua Kimmich or they will lose their player.

This is indeed a great news and it's more than a random speculation now. Bayern Munich recently are now linked with a move to sign Portuguese player Joao Palhinha a player who currently plays for Fulham in midfied. I see that wanting a player like him means they'll be letting a player leave. I'm not surprised Joshua Kimmich would be that man. He's really won a lot for that great club, I feel like it's time fir him to explore and fave other challenge's....

For Barcelona, they really haven't found that perfect replacement for Sergio Busquet since he left the club, they have struggled in midfied also because they lacked a player who will shield the defenders. Too many goals have been conceded due to the absence of a concrete Defensive Midfielder.

The move to Barcelona would be great. And I also feel like, Bayern Munich needs the repair in midfied.

I feel like Barcelona is just looking for Sergio Busquet as you said and they are doing it with closed eyes because they want to fill his pacle the team while all the players they hired so far for this team, couldn't have good enough performance to take the place of Busquets in Barcelona.
Joshua Kimmich is another midfielder they target while Bayern Munich is going to play smarter and if you are right about Joao Palhinha they already found an alternative player as a midfielder for their team.

When you watch their games, they have conceded too much because they lack a proper defensive midfielder who shields up the defenders and the Goalkeeper.
Romeu haven't done enough, not good enough to play for Barcelona. Frankie De Jong been Injured and hasn't do e so we'll either. They need a more consistent player and thats Joshua Kimmich if I'm right.

They wanted Palhinha prior to the new season but the agreement didn't go through and documents didn't get signed up before the transfer window came to an end.
Both Kimmich and Palhinha are both 28 so it's a win win. One leaves and one comes in. Palhinha right now is the player in the Premier League with the highest tackles won, I see Bayern Munich and Thomas Tuchel has eyes on a solid midfielder'.

Previously we predict that Napoli will be the main competitor to win the scudetto but a few weeks after the new season began we saw Juventus and Inter Milan who would fight each other and that continues to this day so I agree that Milan and Fiorentina are excluded in the race. We know that at this time Inter Milan is more favored to win the trophy because they have the ability in attack and defense the only obstacle to Inter Milan is a busy schedule this has an impact on the condition of the players fatigue and injury will be the main risk. I think the coach should find a solution in the near future before all competitions start.

The competition for the scudetto has taken an unexpected turn with Juventus and Inter Milan emerging as strong contenders. The busy schedule poses a challenge for Inter Milan, considering the potential risks of player fatigue and injuries.

What do you think should be the coach's strategy to address these concerns and ensure a successful campaign for Inter Milan?
How do you see Napoli bouncing back in the race, and are there any other teams that might surprise us in the upcoming matches?

From the very beginning of the season, Napoli, Ac Milan, Napoli, Inter Milan and Juventus have been the hot favorites for the league. Ac Milan did great but dropped down after some issues, they still be struggling though. It's just the consistentcy of both Juventus and Inter Milan so far. They have made the league lively. Inter Milan dropped points against Genoa and Juventus took good use of the chances they had to narrow the gap.

Inter Milan has a good coach and he'll be able to lead them until the end of the season. My major concern is for Napoli, how are they this bad? 8th Position? Shit sucks.

Marcos Alonso the payer of Barcleen decided to have surgery because of the pain in his back and he is surely going to be out for a long time and this is bad news for Barcelona. However, they had no other way than to let this player have the surgery.
In the game between Barcelona and Shakhtar Donetsk, Marcos Alonso got injured and he couldn't play for Barcelona.
So far Marcos Alonso played in 7 games for his team.

Asides from his passing skills and football intelligent quotient, Marcos Alonso has nothing more to offer anymore, he has won a lot of trophies already from his time with Chelsea and has worked with so many talented managers.
I do feel like it's time to let him go, they should set up a good meeting and terminate his contract on mutual agreement. He is slow and not pacy. Football lately needs a very pacy fullback and his not that kind of player. I remember how Jordi Alba dominated that role for Barcelona. Barcelona should get someone like that.

They shouldn't invest in old players, Balde looks good but I don't understand his drop in performance. With the new addition in attack, Barcelona can score more goals now. But they should get a new defensive midfielder.
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 01, 2024, 07:45:42 AM
Currently, we have some teams in good form like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, and that's why I think with the current situation from all teams in the Champions League, these teams got more chance to win the title than all the other teams, Manchester City won the tournament in the last season and they had a coach like Guardiola in their teams but that's not ag good reason to as they can have more chance because in the recent games we saw from this team, they had disappointing performance compared to their performance we saw in the last season.

I agree that Real Madrid and Bayern Munich the main candidate to win the Champions League trophy but never ignore Manchester City because currently Manchester City is ready to compete with anyone after their mainstay player Kevin de Bruyne has recovered from injury. How bad Manchester City played in the previous match could not be used as a reference because the match was without Kevin de Bruyne, I think these 3 teams will go to the semifinals and we still need one more team, who is more appropriate to be there?
I strongly believe on Real Madrid and if possible Bayern Munich than Manchester city because, their performance is far below that of last season. Manchester city has only won two matches recently and nobody knows if they can still have that best performance that we know them for.

Real Madrid has been playing consistent in their matches and they will be able to crush any team that comes their way. Manchester city relies on few players and their absence affected their performance, but Real Madrid has injured players that I will say are somehow their key players but that didn't affect their performance in their matches that they played

Another Injury on Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne would affect them hugely these are the core important members of Manchester City, they're not players easily replaced. Manchester City have struggled they should improve in the Premier League but the Champions League I can't conclude.

Real Madrid are also moving in the right direction, they have shown good performance even without some important members and players of them squad.
They should try as much as possible to get a new striker and defender to replace David Alaba. With that they're good to go. Bayern Munich also, they be doing good but I'm not too much of a fan.
1407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 01, 2024, 06:48:48 AM
Arsenal getting exposed right, left, and center. With the low scoring forwards they have, I don't think they will be able to compete for the title vs. City. Forget about the defense, they are clearly lacking a-25-goals-a-season center forward

Liverpool also have a disadvantage with Salah going to the AFCON. If City don't come out by the end of January at the top of the table, I will be very surprised.

Liverpool will be without Salah.

West Ham United will be without Kudus, Fulham without Alex Iwobi and also Calvin Bassey.
Manchester United will be without Onana. I feel like it's time to drop Onana anyways. He's conceded fifty goals since joining Manchester United.

These are the little few I know dominating in the Premier League that'll be leaving their clubs for the African Cup of Nations Competitions.

Hopefully gunner's will make good signatures and fight back them way to the top. They should have learnt enough lessons from last season failures.

The management needs to kick ten hag out of the club. It's a subject that people mock and joke about. it has been shocking for people to see how MU was bottling it anytime. The bad performance from onana became the main problem here but you shall not also forget that if ten hag was the main reason why MU played so badly here. Numerous players are going to the AFCON and it is another opportunity for the club like manchester city which is seeing salah will out for AFCON. fifty goals were a lot for what people called as world class goal keeper.

Onana was fucken shit!. Arsenal is mentally destroyed after two losses in a row. Even rice is not willing to see the current standing as he stated that tonight. Arsenal may lose a chance to compete for the title race.
Another bad story is going to happen with arsenal, im not putting a lot of expectation for this club coz we do know that so well how arsenal was always doing bottle job at the end of season but it never stops.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

A part from that mate you know that was the best that arsenal could have out on the pitch. That is the result that must be accepted by the fans. Nketiah was not ready to play and he is shit!

I'd still rate Andrea Onana a class goalkeeper even with his recent poor run at goal. Ask Pep Guardiola and he knows well that Andrea Onana is a great Goalkeeper everyday everytime. Besides the team mentality has been bruised we saw that last season with Chelsea as it affected even the best players for them.

Rice was the only direct player in midfied. Club Captain Odegaard looks tired same goes with Saka. He should be making runs into the eighteen yard box not behaving same way like Marcus Rashford. They're not been direct this season, I be wondering how they want to win the Euro's this way with England.

Nketiah made good runs Arsenal just paid attention to too many passes without have a direct plan to chase goal until the last moments of the game.

Until the first half of this season ended, Juventus was the only team capable of providing competition at the top of the standings compared to Milan and Fiorentina. The difference in points between Juventus and Inter is not far apart, a sign that their performance is very good to fight for the title until the end of the season. For the time being, Milan and Fiorentina have a bigger gap with Inter and Juventus, this gives a good sense of security for Juventus and Inter in the title race.

Milan and Fiorentina still have the opportunity to narrow the points gap and compete for the title this season. Of course, this is not an easy task as long as Juventus and Inter are able to maintain their good performance, but this is also not something impossible when Juventus and Inter fail to take advantage of several matches to gain maximum points in the second half of the season.

Milan flopped at some point, I was thinking they'll want to get the current manager sacked since he got dumped out of the Champions League group stage just like it was for them last season.
We all shall monitor of he successfully lead them well in the European Europa League Competition. But in the league, it feels like a safe passage for them into the next Champions League.

I didn't follow Fiorentina very well, they're not amongst the clubs I fan in Italian Seria A. Disappointed with Atalanta though because I believe they can do better.

For Juventus, Props to to them, they're doing what's meant to be done. I hope they get to finalize the signature of Kalvin Philips from Manchester City they need that additional players in midfied and attack who can convert chances for em.
1410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 31, 2023, 09:53:09 PM
There is still quite a long time left and I think for now in this January transfer window they will still prioritize about the defense rather than for strikers. Because after all, by looking at the current situation, their defense still looks weak with several players who have fitness problems such as Militao who must be out for a long time and Rudiger and Alaba who are still very vulnerable to injury.

It cannot be denied that initially, this season Real Madrid really needed their main striker to be able to strengthen their front line even though they actually already had Bellingham. But he is not a pure striker. However, as things get further, due to several injuries to their main players in defense, Real Madrid should also start targeting several new defenders who are at least able to strengthen the team again. However, until now there have been no rumors that have been widely discussed regarding who will be taken. So we will just have to wait for the decision this month.

Real Madrid is currently in first place, but its points are exactly the same as Girona so the conditions are very competitive.

anyway, Happy new year to all.

They're headed into the toughest phase of the season with lots of strenuous actions in the domestic league games and also the European Champions League Competition.

They've just lost David Alaba to Injury, and I be pondering how they plan on replacing the versatile defender who have seen success with Bayern Munich and now Real Madrid. He should also be replaced and not overlooked..

For Jude Bellingham, th y should be happy but not rest all hope's on him for the new season. He is no central forward. Real Madrid should make plans for one since Joselu be underperforming likewise.
1411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 31, 2023, 09:45:58 PM
Considering that we're playing above expectations and are on top of the PL, I wonder whether we're looking at some defensive additions in January.
Matip is out, Gomez has been inconsistent at best, Quansah is still too young and has played just a handful of games and we're still without Robertson.

We're one injury from a defensive nightmare, and we have to invest there in the summer anyway. I know it's hard to do good business in January, but I'd prefer that we at least give it a try.

Alexis Mac Allister and Thiago are injured. Moreover, Liverpool have had problems in midfield since last season. Liverpool must make good use of the winter transfer window. They are the leaders this season. Unlike last season's misfortune, they are having a good season. There were reports in the press that they were interested in Fulham's João Palhinha. I think it would be good for them to sign 2 midfielders and 1 defender in the winter transfer window. They have to do that if they want to stay in the championship race.

Bayern Munich are heavily linked with Palhinha from Fulham. Liverpool chase for him should be seen as complete speculations. They already have Endo who's doing a great job for the reds In midfied right now.
Jurgen Klopp has also said Thiago Alcantara would be back in the month of January and that he's been a solid player in their squad.

I don't know about Mac Alister, but, Godspeed with his return back for Injury.
Barcelona move for Joshua Kimmich makes me happy, I feel like it's a good deal for both sides. Pep Guardiola would even want him to make the switch.

EYES ON ARSENAL FC

Since last season, I have seen Arsenal like a club that has improved tremendously. I could remember when Arteta was struggling with Ole of Manchester United. Unfortunately for Ole, he could not make it in Manchester United but Arteta was able to win the mind of Arsenal management. He improve the Arsenal team and contest for English premier League title which eventually was stolen from them by Guardiola and his boys. I didn't blame Arsenal much because they didn't have good squad depth. But what is actually happening again this season.

Arsenal from number 1 to number 4 now  We'll, they might climb again but I am just happy that Klopp and his Red boys are ahead. They don't give up easily. If Liverpool eventually gaps others with 6 points, it's over. I don't want Manchester City to win again, that's just why I am concerned.

Why the comparison? I mean between Ole Gunner Solskjaer and Mikel Arteta. One was far better than the other because he worked with the best to gain good knowledge of what footballs all about. The other had issues that managers before him and after him cannot be solved. Ole Gunner Solskjaer actually wasn't good tactically. He is a wacked coach who could not win the game Manchester United played against Villarreal during the Europa League finalse they played. That game was enough to day Ole Gunner Solskjaer was a poor coach.

Arsenal should do the needful. People who know the Premier League, know that January is always the start of the main chase and journey. Arsenal should make additions to the squad so as to avoid mistakes done from last season. History says that we don't usually learn from History. Arsenal relates wekk to this!!

After the new year there is a game which could be tough for Napoli. They have an away game against Torino which are only a few points behind themselves. Napoli still have a really solid record against Torino in head-to-head games actually. Considering the statistics in this season Napoli are one of the best teams in away games as well.

Torino are also not bad in home games as they have lost only once which was against Inter. This could be an interesting game maybe but I hope to see Napoli finally winning a game while having difficult days. They really need a winning streak to recover.  Sad

Oh Shiit!

I just discovered that the defending Champions of Seria A ( Scudetto Competition ) are currently eighth position currently on the league standing. This is as a result of the poor Rudi Garcia who dragged this particular down to the mud.
I don't know too well about them head to head but this could still be a tough game. Victor Oshime would most likely not be involved as he'll be in camp with his National Team mates.

The African Cup of Nations Competitions begins soon and I don't think they want to risk him. He should be freed and allowed to go. The African Cup of Nations Competitions would be very important for Nigerians, they'll need their start man around.

Let's narrow it down to five games away from home, they've just won twice amd lost three, ain't that a poor show? They'll find the game difficult to win.

La Liga matchday 19 of 38 will begin tomorrow and Getafe vs Rayo Vallecano will be team opening that matchday match, currently on matchday 19 have super big match between top 2nd teams will face 3rd standings team Girona vs Atletico Madrid. Current position, Atletico Madrid left 7 points from Girona and likely is not small points left if want keep for fighting La Liga tittle race and Girona won't loss their points to pressure Real Madrid on top position with the same 45 points awhile.

La Liga matchday 19 schedule match
  • Getafe vs Rayo Vallecano
  • Sociedad vs Alaves
  • Valencia vs Villareal
  • Granada vs Cadiz
  • Madrid vs Mallorca
  • Celta Vigo vs Betis
  • Girona vs Atletico
  • Osasuna vs Almeria
  • Sevilla vs Athletic
  • Las Palmas vs Barcelona

Girona against Atletico Madrid has got to be the hottest pick for the week. They be against a tough side in La Liga. A point from this game would make sense, but if they can win the game like they did against Barcelona, then it'll be superb.

Sevilla recently signed a new coach who has helped Improved how they play. They lost against Atletico Madrid though but one could see how they've improved. A win would be great against Atletico Bilbao.

Real Madrid should dominate Mallorca honestly, they shouldn't sleep on a game like this. For Barcelona, they already know how important how a game like this would be for them. They don't need lose again.

I think I've said this too much here and it gladdens me to see someone here with the same view as mine. Not a Liverpool fan bit I know how much they'll be needing a new defender. Jurgen Klopp is not in a rush to get a new defender though because he's said that it has to be the right defender for the club and not just any defending player. With Matip Injured and contract soon to be expired at the end of the season, Liverpool will definitely invest in a young and solid defender for back up and long term plans.

The European Europa League Competition comes with a lot of pressure and they have to be ready. They'll also be without Mo Salah since he'll be out for the African Cup of Nations Competitions beginning on the thirteenth of January 2024.

Al-Nassr continues to extend its winning streak and this time they managed to beat the team that continues to overshadow them in the standings, namely Al-Taawoun. Since the first minute, Al-Taawoun, who were the hosts, broke into Al-Nassr's goal in the 13th minute with a goal from El Mahdioui. But even though this was an away match for Al-Nassr, this did not make them afraid or worried and they played a good game so they were able to turn things around and score 4 goals against Al-Taawoun. The Al-Nassr players who scored goals in this match were Brozovic, Laporte, Otavio, and closed by Ronaldo.

With this victory, Al-Nassr continues to close the distance from Al-Hilal and even though the difference is still quite large, around 7 points, they will still try to get closer. It was not easy for Al-Nassr who started the season with bad results and they must be grateful that by the middle of the season everything started to improve.

Anyway, with the addition of 1 goal via a header in injury time against Al-Taawoun, Ronaldo ended the year as the top scorer in 2023 with 54 goals for the club and the Portuguese national team. Still can't believe he did that and of course he is happy to be able to compete with other great players in the current generation.

As much as I respect Ronaldo as a football player and I really think he is one of the deadliest strikers the world has ever seen, comparing those numbers across the globe and comparing Ronaldo's goal count from the Saudi Professional League and the national team with that of three players from the Bundesliga, the Premier League and Ligue 1 doesn't look right to me. Everyone can have their opinion about this, but Haaland and Kane are far better than Ronaldo at the moment in my opinion. Mbappe should have scored more, but still the Saudi Professional League is like a children playground for Ronaldo.
Yes, I agree with you that Mbappe, Haaland and Kane are at a different level of competition to Ronaldo and that is a fact. But sometimes at an older age Ronaldo can still be productive and try to compete to chase other records. Ronaldo never once thought about retiring when he was at his current age.

However, what counts is the number of goals and despite being in a different generation, Ronaldo proves that competition still exists. All players have levels depending on their current age and Ronaldo will only be able to place his current performance in the Saudi league and will not be able to be at the top in European competitions like when he was young.

The Saudi Arabian League is never seen a a big league of big Competitions, they don't rate goals from that league highly but I can never doubt the brilliance, excellence and greatness of Cristiano Ronaldo.
At his age and he be scoring like a the young Ronaldo who was newly signed by Real Madrid. It's such a beautiful thing to see that happening. There'll be no other player like Cristiano Ronaldo honestly. Many will try to follow his footsteps but they will not match his lace.

Props to him though, he's done enough in the world of sports. Shout out to players like Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland who have done well in their own various leagues consistently.

I don't remember a team that had a season as surprising as Borussia Dortmund. Maybe Stuttgart may be providing this in a positive sense because they are better than expected, but in a negative sense I think one of the biggest surprises belongs to them. Borussia Dortmund are now far away from their goal of winning the league title. For the top four, they will have to beat Leipzig. If they play worse in a few games, I'm almost sure we won't see them in the UCL next year.

They have failed to win any of their last 6 matches in all competitions which is very bad for a team that almost won the league last season although they have not lost many matches but they draw too much and it is the reason they don’t find themselves in the top 4. Dortmund are better than this and they need query themselves and do better because we all thought after a wonderful display and challenge for the title last season we would see a more determined team that will try and win the league again. They are far from winning the league but they can try and secure a spot in the top 4 to qualify for the next season champions league.
Title race is not possible anymore for the dortmund with the current situation. Dortmund has a very big gap toward the leader of bundesliga right now. The thing that makes me doubt how can dortmund perform better in UCL rather than in bundesliga?
Is there an important factor that was also affecting the outcome of dortmund in UCL? It is still struggling in the bundesliga which makes me feel doubt about the dortmund. Terzic is having a very difficult task to be done.

I meant that if dortmund will fail to qualify for UCL next season and this is going to be another disaster for the club. Dortmund really needs to keep up with the top club in the league. I never thought dortmund would be success in UCL but it's failed in the league. Despite the fact that the bundesliga season is not yet over and we are currently in the middle of it, this is sufficient evidence to suggest that Dortmund is still struggling with inconsistency.

I cannot and will not rate a club like Borrussia Dortmund to win the Bundesliga. They had all the chances but snooze, opportunities like this comes up once in a while and they failed to make good use of it. They should fight to qualify for the Champions League next season. You can go ahead to count them out of winning the Bundesliga.

Talks already arising if Xabi Alonso can cope without the man who have won the rookie of the year award for the fifth time this season. The name is nobody but Victor Boniface who will be out for the African Cup of Nations Competitions beginning on the 13th of January.
I believe they can because, Xabi Alonso experimented without the lad during the last game and they won with ome of them players scoring three solid goals. I hope they get to win something after all these hard work.

Transfers to be made in January transfer window could be effective enough to change the fate of the Champions League winner maybe. I can't imagine what would happen in case of seeing Real Madrid's signing a deal with Mbappe. However even if this happens he wouldn't join the team right away of course. They would need to wait for him until the end of the season unless they buy his clause to bring him immediately.

However truthfully I don't expect Real Madrid to sign him in January because probably he would like to wait for the end of the season to make his decision on his future.  Smiley  I expect PSG to be eliminated early again which would make things really difficult for convincing Mbappe to stay.

Top three candidates and favorites to win the Champions League has got to be Manchester City defending the Champions League Competition, Real Madrid who have won fourteen times and lastly Bayern Munich who are also hot favorites having a coach who has experience winning the Champions League Competition before with Chelsea.

Paris Saint Germans wouldn't want to lose the big man Kylian Mbappe too early even if he'll leave at the end of the season, they'll want to try again this season but I doubt he'll be sold out.

I don't think the transfer window can change nothing. It's football though and it's always unpredictable.
