I would be nice to see the current value of PHI on the PHI web site in both BTC and USD.
Also, does anyone know what the volume units are at AGX? It currently shows 1.63473192 for 24hr period. Is that in thousands?

I posted my experience, and loss of BTC here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=593387.0Only received 20 of the 48 promised payments-Stay away!! PS: My post is completely transparent. Transactions linked up and can easily be verified that Satoshi Hype did not live up to their promise It's all in the name and the "bit coin magic". I know some people are "happy" but for everyone that came out ahead there are probably 2-5 people or more that didn't. The person that really comes out ahead in these things is the guy running it. Everyone should consider something like this gambling. Although, you might even have better odds at prime dice.

I hear that bitcoin will be unbanned after may 10 in China. Does that mean bitcoins price will go up? Should I buy now? Thanks guys.
Why would China say... Banks aren't allowed to transaction money for BitCoin exchanges, then a month later change their mind? While China is a big bitcoin market, there is more to bitcoin than China. But, that answer to your question, is yes, buy more Bitcoin! It has stabalized at it looks like there is ton's of support at the $400+ level. It has been pretty stable around $450 for quite a while now, if you look at that charts. But, the trend recently took an upturn. I am quite bullish on bitcoin as are many.

Where the 5000 for .0002?
Hmm... I want to buy some, but most of my BTC is at another exchange. Is it advisable to send from one exchange to another, or should I send it through my wallet. I don't want to have to wait 2 hours before I can buy, who knows what the price will be.
You shouldn't have a problem sending from one exhange to another. Just don't mine directly to an exchange. Ok thanks. Will be buying as soon as the BTC is confirmed at AGX. I did not offer at 0.002 immediately because there was a seller at .0004 and I did not want the NSF to get in the way. I personally bought the first 1000 at 0.0004 and now the NSF is offered 5000 @ 0.0002 and 5000 @ 0.0003 and 5000 @ 0.0004 As well, I am personally bidding 0.00015 for 1000 to support the market I see, thanks. Any idea how many BTC confirms AGX want's before they let you trade the balance?

I don't see PHI listed on the Austin exchange. Is it live there yet?
How can I buy some of the premined coin?
I will post here when I get time for trading start on AGX Is that where the rest of the 100k pre-mined will be sold? Or is that sold elsewhere?

Add me to the list of people not getting an email notification. I turned it on yesterday and since then two transactions have occurred and 0 notifications. I do instantly get my wallet emailed to me every time it changes (new address, etc) and my email address is confirmed.

you pretty much know it, seems like your educated guessing was getting it right every time
do yourself a favour man and don't use a hosted wallet, well not for for more than 50% of your funds anyway or something like that
For sure this will just be a hot wallet for transactions. I am just getting to the game. As I acquire more for long term holding I will be putting it into paper wallets. But, realistically, what is the risk of having the encrypted wallet store online at blockinfo vs on my PC? Assume someone gets access to blockchain.info and d/l's the encrypted wallets. Since they don't store the passwords, it is up to the attacker to brute force break the encryption. By that time I hope that blockchain would inform everyone of the incursion and I would have time to quickly transfer to a paper wallet ready and waiting, create a new wallet somewhere and import the paper wallet into it. (Yes I'm sure this has been discussed here alot). So, no need to answer in this thread.

I have few question about blockchain.info's My Wallet. (Yes I've read the help).
First, on the privacy page it states that if you want Alerts/Notifications you "expose" your Public Key to Blockchain.info. What are the ramifications of this? Does that identify me in some way on the block chain? Does someone getting my public key mean they can look at all my transactions at every address?
Second, double encryption...
I am assuming with a single password, that password is the key use for the wallet encryption as well as the credentials needed to be able to d/l said encrypted wallet so that the Javascript is able to get access to my private key to sign transactions/messages.
When I add a second password, does this mean the encrypted wallet is encrypted again before it is stored at block chain info. Or, does this mean rather than the wallet being encrypted with the main password it is now encrypted with the secondary password and the main password is only used as a credential to be able to access the encrypted wallet?
wrt 2FA. Is this only use for logging into the web site. Or is it also used to spend coins? Rather than a second password, I would rather have to enter the 2FA code before sending. ALthough, I assume that would only work with BlockChain, and if my wallet (private key) was compromised someone could import it into another client and spend my coins without needing the 2FA code at all.
Finally Escrow. There is a second in the Help about Escrow but it doesn't go to a help topic. Does Blockchain.info have an escrow feature?

I think blockchain.info generates revenue from partnerships with several bitcoin service providers. When you log into your wallet you'll see links to: - ZipZap
- ANXPRO
- Beast Options
- ZeroBlock
- BitcoinShop
- Gyft
I think they are also backed by venture capital that is accepting short term losses (or small profits) in hopes of long term large profitability. That's probably a reasonable expectations. That's how Gmail, Facebook, Mint and other "free" services work. Like that man said... "If you aren't paying for the product, YOU are the product!"

New member looking for large amount to exchange via PayPal. Yea, that's not going to end badly.
How about depositing that in an exchange?
Can you tell me which exchange I can deposit it into using PayPal? NONE... that's why I asked what country you are in. If you have a US bank account then transfer your paypal balance to your bank, then sign up for coinbase and buy bit coin. It will cost 1% and take 4 days. But, consider that to wire to some various exchanges will cost you fees on both sides, your bank, and the exchange. So, the fees at coin base to buy $2k work of bitcoin will be $20. Once you have your bitcoin you can transfer it anywhere you want for virtually free. You can also mail a USPS money order to ChampBX and from what I see there are NO FEES for that. A USPS money order will cost you $1.55. But, you are going to need cash. You are not going to get someone to give you bit coin for a paypal transaction due to chargebacks.

Interesting question. While we're at it, how do you suppose the other alternate wallets Electrum, MultiBit, and Armory make money as well?
That's a different question. There is no ongoing cost to program a wallet and put it onto GitHub. There is an ongoing cost to keep a website running, pay Amazon AWS fees, etc. So, it is a valid question which is how I found this thread. I don't see a link on blockchain.info about their fees. If there is one, please point me to it.

I very much doubt Coinbase is stealing your bit coin.
Also, someone said "all exchanges steal money". Um... I hope that's not true. You don't know that all the exchanges have transaction fees.
That said, Coinbase is not really an exchange (Other than buying/selling from coinbase itself). It is a wallet, with a merchant API and also an easy way to buy/sell bitcoin for USD via ACH transactions to your bank account.
As someone said... here from the FAQ:
We only show two digits on your balance if it is greater than 5 BTC. This is just to clean up the interface and try to hide unnecessary detail. If you move your mouse over the balance on your Transactions page, the full amount out to 8 decimal places will be displayed.
Also, they even pay miner fees on external bitcoin transactions you perform:
Yes, Coinbase pays miner fees (typically 0.002 BTC) on external transactions greater than 0.001 BTC in order to ensure these transactions propagate throughout the bitcoin network quickly. For amounts less than 0.001 BTC, Coinbase does not pay the fee required by the network.
---
Why would they pay miner fees if the are going to steal 100 satoshi?
I really suggest the OP contact coinbase and see what's going on.
