ShareCoin Re-Distribution ShareCoin generated from FeeShares sale will be distributed back to the community in 2 ways: MultiPool distribution: ShareCoin are distributed to the Multipool's miners at the current market price. As the ShareCoin are taken from the FeeShares sell, this won't affect the market price. Threrefore, miners are getting ShareCoin at the best rate available. Join our multipool at: Exchange interest: Keeping ShareCoin inside the exchange will let you earn interest on ShareCoin itself. The interest rate is twice as much the ShareCoin's stake interest rate at that time. Current Total is only 100 000 000 coins In order to sell 50% of the FEE SHARES, we need 50,000 FEE SHARE * 20 000 = 1000 000 000 coins. So the 100% of the FEESHARES 100 000 are effectively worth 2 Billion share coins. But we only have 100 million coins to start with. I am confused?  The initial sale only offers 5,000 FEEs. that's 100,000,000 ShareCoin in total. ShareCoins generated from FeeShare will be distributed back to the community through the exchange's interest and the multipool. But when you do the payout to the shareholders, they will only get 0.001% of the profits, even though there are only 5000 FeeShare (5% of the total) are there to start with, right? or do you see the 5000 shares as 50% until you do the next distribution of fee shares? I expect they are front loading their profits to pay for upfront dev costs and stuff. Remember, the devs got 0 coin in this, yet they (he) spent all his time, money and energy setting everything up. That said, I'm sure they will only be paying out 5% of the revenue at the beginning. |

Even if you just deposit share coins there? Yes, interesting. You get twice the interest if you stake at the Exchange. I'm not sure why they are offering that. But, it is interesting. One thing that I did notice is that it will take 10x the currently existing number of ShareCoin to buy out all 50,000 available FeeShare. So, they're not going to sell out any time soon. |

I should have recieved my part of sharecoin, downloaded the new wallett, deleted everything from the roaming foldier except my wallet.dat and it synced (dl-d the blocks) but It still writes my wallet is out of sync.
Any help?

Buy now while the price is low. You can get the equivalent of the 60k share now for @ $100 give or take. But, I expect the early handout dumpers will be out of the market in a week or so once all the free distribution is completed. |

It will work itself out. I haven't got my free dist yet, but I'm very tempted to go and buy some as well. $20 for 10k SHARE... that's crazy good deal! Once all the early dumpers that were just here for a free $50 are gone, the price will go up, especially once the FeeShare's are available, since you can only buy them with SHARE, (although you can trade them for BTC after the IPO). |

so far the exchange is working pretty well, for the first day. Cant wait to buy some shares. I'm a bit confused about the amount of share that you can buy, by looking at the specs, you can buy up to 100% of the fees that are paid, if this is the case how is the owners of the exchange gonna get paid? if their selling all their profits. unless they keep their own share. Revenues collected from Sharexcoin is divided into 100,000 parts, those parts are called FeeShares. There are only 100,000 FeeShares available.
Each FeeShare will give the FeeShare's holder 0.001% revenue from Sharexcoin. I assume it is either... 1. They will not make all 100,000 FeeShares available. or 2. It is a share of the "Profits" even though it says revenue. Profits would be after hosting expense, salaries for support/dev etc. But, I am like I said, assuming. It is a good point. |

i am a member since january and still havent reached ROI.....yes, i havent reinvested my earning but still...just to let you know guys...
I'm curious. If you buy X amount of GHs. What is the break even time frame assuming you don't reinvest? Also, does that say proportional? In other words, if I buy 10 vs 1000 is the break even time frame the same. Do the earnings go down through the life of the contract as the hash difficulty rises? |

Just run the installer and start up the wallet. No pain at all. Unfortunately this didn't help me. I haven't upgraded a previously downloaded wallet before. How do I run the installer? the download is an installer, an exe. After you download, just double click on the exe... the installer will run. Thanks, I got it, just re-download the wallet.  I was confused by "pull from the master tree at Github" and I was afraid it would create another address or something would get messed up. The wallet.dat file is what you need to keep, backup and protect. It is your private key and all your addresses. As long as you have that you won't loose your coins. I personally encrypt the wallet and back it up to OneDrive named naut-20140507.dat (that is the date). So, if something happens to my PC, I can always get my coins back. Your wallet only changes when you add and address or edit and address (change label etc). Re-back up whenever you do one of those things. |

BTC and LTC These would be the top two. Why? Because they have the most momentum. There is a large infrastructure of merchant APIs, wallets, exchanges. BTC is basically the US$ of Crypto because most alt-coins are priced in units of BTC just like US$ is how most world commodities are priced. You can only buy the FeeShares with ShareCoin and each FeeShare gets you a .001% stake in the fees. I think the feeshares will also apply to other things that are planned like a gambling site and perhaps merchant services site. DogeCoin - DOGE As much as this started as a joke, it is really becoming very popular. I can't see this one raising in price much though because there is no limit on the amount of coins that can be mined. Maybe the devs will decide to change that at some point. But, I think there are already billions of these in the market. So, there's the top 5 I am watching. |

does anybody read the thread? Are you on version 1.6.0.0 of the wallet? If not, you need to upgrade. Link to new version is in post 1 of this thread. Read the last 8 to 10 pages and you will find instructions to remove the old data if just running the new version doesn't d/l new blocks. |
