Staking 12K coins right now Smiley

Ok so I've been scouring this thread trying to find the answer, but might as well just ask:

How do we stake coins?

I've encrypted my wallet and "unlocked" it, so now I assume it just happens automatically from here? I know the min stake age is 1 day, so I need to have those coins in my wallet for at least one day, correct? (I've had ~50k in my wallet for over 24 hours and 0 are staked).

Thanks in advance anyone that knows what's up!

Yep, that's it. I don't think it's a clock. Wink

Could somebody please help? I accidentally withdrawed BTC to my mining adress from the multi pool and its still not confirmed or pending..

If the address was right it is going to add to the Share/Multipool BTC balance, then will be used to buy SHARE on the exchange and send it to you. Not sure anyone can help you with that but the Dev.

Cant see it at the statitics page. But i will wait

Did it hit the blockchain yet, or is it still sitting at the exchange not sent? If the latter, you can probably open a support ticket and ask them to cancel it.

Not sure if it hit the blockchain. Mintpal says the transaction is confirmed and more i cant see.

Does mintpal provide you a transaction id? If so, through it into blockchain.info and see if it is confirmed.

Hay yall! Yeah Hey, alright...

My Sharecoin wallet completed updating hours ago. Had to upgrade it to latest ver' and also had to delete 'everything but the wallet.dat file, fire it up, let it Ketchup....yah, Catch up....

Has 12 active connections, shows receivd amount xxx, xxx, xxx in the transactions section but is not yet shown on the Overview page.
Has over 5600 confirms.

Shows 8 transactions but 0.00 SHARE in all three categories.

Also shows several 'generated but not accepted - mining' transactions. All unconfirms.. :[

A teeny weeny bit perplexing, it is.  Embarrassed

What do you cats think it could be? Mistery to me. Hopefully it's quite clear what's going on to someone else.

Tanx!

Ah wait, does it show any value "Stake". Your stake is frozen until the interest is confirmed. Could be all it is.

I just got a PM from the DEV. Yea!

It's official you DO NOT need to keep your wallet open to earn stake rewards. But, as was just said, if no one runs their wallets then there are no transactions. But, I assume the dev will get several nodes going all the time to ensure that doesn't happen. It wouldn't be good.

There is a bug on the Depth Chart. It isn't showing 8 Digits for the BTC prices. See the price on the left is more than 8 digits and on the right it is missing two zeros, should be showing 400 Satashis. Also, the price along the bottom access should show 400 not 40 I'm pretty sure.

It is said, those who keep their sharecoins within ShareXcoin will recieve double PoS interest, why ain't I recieving any?

Ah, there's an answer to one of my questions. Wink you've had your balance there for more than 24 hours I assume.

Why are these orders in red?

I just asked on the ShareXCoin thread that question. We think it is to highlight orders higher than 1 BTC.

I copy from the OP

"Multipool first round payout is sent. In this round we generated 9.77 BitCoin the exchange rate is: 400 satoshi. At this rate we can buy 2442500.0 ShareCoin
Will send ShareCoin to miners now using the ShareCoins generated from FeeShare sale and place a buy order of 9.77 Bitcoin at 400 satoshi to create buy support on: https://sharexcoin.com/market/SHARE_BTC
Will update details on http://sharecoin.info later today...."

Maybe is that ..

Of course it is that.

Announcing a market order in advance is always going to create trading ripples.

Not sure what you are saying. The multipool buy order was already gobbled up. The next order will be set at the current SHARE price, which is always the BID side, not the Ask side. So, currently the multipool will distributed based on 373 (current Bid) and then an Ask for 373 will be added with the multi-pool BTC.
2069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHARE]ShareCoin - Pure POS - MultiPool - Official exchange launched on: May 09, 2014, 10:07:13 PM
It will be the people who placed BTC directly into the multipool hoping that the first round of payments would come in at 1 satoshi per ShareCoin (as the dev did mention early on in this thread (he said he would start at 1 satoshi and increase the price)).

A lot of people thought by placing a few BTC in the multipool, they would get a large number of ShareCoins at 1 satoshi each, and dump them instantly gaining a huge profit (if the coin rose to 2 satoshi per ShareCoin, you would double your investment). However the dev didn't sell them to the multipool at that price and so people are just selling at around the price they paid for them just to get their BTC back.

That's my theory anyway.

The first multipool purchase only distributed 2442500 SHARE. No where near the 5ish million currently in the Asks at 400-403.

Will the Nautiluscoin Stabilization Fund ever be used to suppress the price if it is growing too fast or is it just used for buy pressure?

From what I understand of the fund, it seems to try to enforce a floor when it buys or sells. And since the fund (and "Official" price) is based off of AGX, I'm sure the fund is automated, since AGX has a nice automation API.

BK has said the NSF is currently manual. He plans to automate it later.

What just happened on the exchange? Why are some of the items in the order book RED and Bold font?

seems to be a Gui change made by the dev.

I think it's to see the big walls above 1btc

Yea, that's probably it. It's just that RED usually means BAD or WARNING... Bold black or bold only would be fine.

Also, I think there is a bug on the total Bids. It only shows 12.xxxxx, there are much more in SHARE than 12.x total Bids.

Another suggestion, if the number is higher than 1 SHARE, only display 2 decimals to the right, and have a tool tip for the full amount. This of course only for the informational summary labels. For the specific transactions/history always display all 8 dec.
2073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHARE]ShareCoin - Pure POS - MultiPool - Official exchange launched on: May 09, 2014, 09:24:15 PM
more than 8 millions coins to sell ? 8 % of the capital on 1 exchange with single block sell order of more than 3 millions ?

Anyone who would have bought that amount , wouldn't have breakeven and would have probably hold hoping to hit an exchange.

there is something fishy here

8,888,887.

0.00000399   400,000.01000000   1.59600004
0.00000402   3,276,636.85074374   13.17208014
0.00000403   879,527.39320234   3.54449539
0.00000430   2,000,000.00000000   8.60000000

What's fishy? A lot of SHARE was moved under 300 early on. Several transactions happened before the exchange was also up and running as was some early dumps on Swaphole. This person could be doubling their money.

From OP: "The exchange is not all we got, we already had a plan for a gambling website too. And revenue from this gambling site will also be shared to ShareCoin holders"

I'm a bit confused here.. Who is getting revenue, ShareCoin or FeeShare holders, or both?
Thank you
FeeShare holders.

I don't know what I'm talking about right?

Yep. The thing is, in the OP it says "ShareCoin Holders" which it said about the exchange. There is still a question in my mind if the FeeShares you buy on ShareXCoin ALSO apply to the gaming site, or if it will have it's own FeeShares.

I would hope the FeeShares are for both sites, that would make them much more valuable. But, will wait for a very clear answer.

I am trying to withdraw my BTC from Sharex, I sold some Coffee coins. It is asking me my 2 factor authentication even though I didn't enable it.

I tried but I kept getting invalid 2fa token so I gave up.

This is really weird.

Anybody else had this problem?

I think they require 2FA to be setup before they let you withdraw. So, I guess you'll have to set it up.

But why it doesn't let me set it up? I have 2FA everwhere, BTER, BITTREX, BITSTAMP etc.. Everywhere else I set it up w/o problems except here.

Have you managed to set it up?

Just did it with Google Authenticator. No problem at all.
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHARE]ShareCoin - Pure POS - MultiPool - Official exchange launched on: May 09, 2014, 08:30:34 PM
so feeshare = revenue from the exchange + revenue from the multipool???

I'm not sure how revenue from the multipool is factored in. But, I don't think that is 100% revenue, since that money is used to buy SHARE on the market. So, I think FeeShare will include .2% (the sell/buy commission) of the multipool.

I also think the planned Gaming site revenue will be shared too. Although, it hasn't been made clear yet if the will be combined into the FeeShares of the exchange, or if the Gaming site will have it's own separate stock. I'd like to hear an answer to that question.

19178.08 BTC Daily Transaction volume SharexCoin needs to earn YOU 0.07 BTC back in one year

It's 15x more than Cryptsy 24h trade volume  Shocked

That's the point. With ShareCoins at 350 satoshis each, it's actually really stupid to purchase FeeShares because it would take you years to get the same BTC back that you would spend in FeeShares. I bought FeeShares as soon as I could and then did the maths and realised my huge mistake. I can't see the 3 FeeShares I own being able to make 0.2 BTC by the end of this year unless the system changes.

How is a 50% return in 1 year stupid?

The returns are infinite if you were given 3 FeeShares worth of ShareCoin as well.

That said, we don't know what the return is because we don't know the current revenue. If I was sure it would be 50% in a year I would buy MANY of them. Also, if the exchange does very well, then the FeeShares / BTC market will raise the price so in addition to dividends you are getting growth.

While everyone has said how expensive FeeShares are, their price has only gone up, against the expectations of many on this thread after the per FeeShare price was posted.

50% return in one year? ShareXCoin would need to process 19178 BTC in transactions EVERY DAY. That means Bitcoins worth $7,671,200 will need to be transferred in the exchange (so SharexCoin earns 0.1% transaction fee) every day, for one year.

How many bitcoin exchanges do you think process that number of transactions (adding up to that volume of BTC)? This exchange will have to be bigger than virtually every exchange in existence just to earn the coins back from buying the FeeShares at this current price...

No idea the volume numbers. But, I do know, the revenue is actually .2% per transaction. Remember, the buyer and seller each pay 1% fee. So you should double all your revenue calculations.

Right but the fee shares are more expensive than similar revenue sharing stocks from other exchanges.  Why should they be almost double the launching price of Cryptsy's?

That's just how people priced them wrt BTC. They set the price at 20k SHARE and gave away 100,000,000 SHARE or 5000 FeeShares. Seems like the market is setting the price, not the exchange. As the dev said, he didn't expect the price of SHARE to start off so high. He was talking about starting Buy orders from the MultiPool at 1 Satoshi. So, he was thinking a FeeShare would be 20k Sat...
